1. My first experience here was great! Tee was awesome, very friendly, showed me the whole inventory then helped me find exactly what I came for. Selection is overwhelming at first. Definitely something for everyone! I’ll be back for sure!

3. The gratitude from The Green Genie today of all days Valentine’s Day. With the special today really shows that it’s about the patients not the cash and today you helped all of us out, especially us who are on disability. Since the day I became a patient of The Green Genie I never have had a bad experience. Also they literally have all the bases covered when it comes to anything you would need medically, accessories, and knowledgeable Budtenders who know the product, how it works and they are also extremely attentive and suggestive from the minute you are greeted by your Budtender. And they now take out of State Medical Marijuana Patient’s who have A VALID MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARD FROM THEIR HOME STATE. This is a very good progressive forward move and makes it available to out of state medical patients to have access for medication when they visit our state. Again a huge thanks for today but being the most progressive Provision Center in Michigan and voted number one by Leafly and many time after time by myself and others while in the waiting room. Also I have never waited more than 20 min but on average 7 to 10 minutes at most. Happy Valentine’s Day all.

4. I love coming to Green Genie. The atmosphere is always awesome and the fellow patients I meet here are great. The security guard is nice and my bud tender, China, helped me pick up my balm, tincture and edible. It was a quick visit and the service overall was fantastic. Will come again.

13. I am sorry but after 3 times of trying to get a house product and you are out again, in just over a months time. Either you need to get more in or not not advertise it with the biggest letters on the glass. Feels like you are getting taken advantage of when everything other than house is at a minimum at least 2 times the price. From the time I have been legal, 6 years I have never left a dispensary over service, I have only left after they closed, so this is a first for me.

21. Third time visiting and had 3 different ladies wait on me, first 2 were awesome! I got there at 15 minutes to close on 5g eighth special night, last night. Standing room only, budtender LEAH waited on me and was very energetic and cordial. Not only did she not make me feel rushed, nor think she was already “out the door”. Instead she conversed, asked questions, answered questions, acted like it was a slow, middle of the day purchase not a last minute, special night, crush of people. When a strain, I had 2, that were pretty well picked over she didn’t just try to make an 1/8 out of the scraps at the bottom of one jar she walked over and made an excellent two 1/8’s that way despite knowing there were other people waiting she was patient through my 5 selections, 2 worked out, the 2 combo jars I mentioned, and 1 suggestion she made, which I tried first and it was exactly the type of strain I like. LEAH was awesome and a fine representative of this establishment!!! This establishment is a fine representative of patient CARE!!!

22. This place is notorious for trickery. They trick you into believing that they have 10% deals but it’s false. There scales are automatically set to short you out of your grams. I definitely will not go back to this place. Don’t be fooled by the pretty girls they got working for them. This place is robbing it’s customer’s everyday and 90% don’t even know!

30. Have you ever walked into a place, and you felt like this place could be your home away from home? This is the best way I could describe the visit to Green Genie. Let me add in that this was my very first visit to a dispensary. Everyone, from the security guard to the cashier were amazing.

    Most of all, Sarah. She greeted me with a warm, friendly smile. She showed me around. And just made me feel comfortable in general. So much so, that I let her pick the products for me because she is so trustworthy. And she was super excited to do it. Sarah. If there were more people like you in this world, the world would be a better place than it is right now. Thank you from the new guy

If you have not been here you have no clue what you are missing. free snacks and free medicated slushies plus the selection of edibles and flower along with their concentrates is out of this world. dont miss out on this place. i felt super safe with 3 security guards on site. they even have a private area to cash out so i dont have to conduct any money transactions in front of everyone else. Green Genie is the Walmart of Dispensaries. I wish i could give more stars, Louie is the most professional manager that i have ever met and my budtender was very professional she recommeded the Wedding Cake to me and it was straight Fire

53. I’ve been going to this dispensary for over a year now. I’ve reviewed them before but had to create a new account due to getting a new email address. Figured I’d come on here and rave about them again. To be honest, I have yet to try other dispensaries but I see no reason to. The budtenders here are nice, service is fast and they’re pretty knowledgeable. Also, many strains to choose from. The place is also super clean, not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere that I can ever see. This is important to me because I’m a bit of a neat freak LOL!

59. This place is awesome. I just wish my budtender would have been. The girl was beyond slow, took her 20 mins to weight out my meds all while talkin about her kid and new husband to be…then dropped the unsealed package on the floor. She was gonna put the stuff that fell on the floor back in my bag! Then when I said something she got more out the jar but wasn’t even gonna reweight it. I will visit again only because of the selection of goods they did have but I will definitely be refusing that budtender.

63. I went here and it was a really busy day for them. My budtender had to wait to use her scale because another budtender was using hers even though there were 3 other scales not in use. There seemed to be a lot of confusion on donation even though they were posted on the digital menu. I had asked her how much donation for what I was getting for each item and she actually looked at the menu to tell me but when I went to pay it was $20 more. I definitely will not be back. The budtender didn’t seem to know what was going on at all and there was a lot of chaos. I go to get medicine not to party and get over charged. The place is clean.

69. Oh my gosh! This is a fabulous place! Im a newer patient and am still learning…and I couldn’t have chosen a better establishment for my first visit to any dispensary! I was a little uncomfortable at first but was quickly made to feel right at home! I have had fhe chance to meet several of the staff memebers here, and every single one was knowledable, welcoming! Ive since been to other dispensaries, and although they were good experiences, the selection of available products are no way near as grand as The Green Genie! You guys are awesome! 70. The girls in the back are great, friendly, knowledgeable, patient. Very patient. The bud is First Rate.
    My only complaint is the guy at the security desk is not very friendly at all, and the length of time for waiting is terrible. Each time I end up waiting about 20 to 30 minutes, just to get served. You still have to wait for them to wait and pay, and get it up front. It was for those two complaints, I would give it A 5 all the way through. I would recommend it to a friend but let them know don’t go there unless you have at least 30 minutes to spare. I would definitely shop there again, but not if I am in a hurry.

Some of there bud tenders need a additional training I was given a capsule with .6 that was suppose to be 2grams I’m happy I checked after purchasing however the manager did correct the error but made it as if I was trying to pull a fast one. Be careful and watch what they do when you purchase multiple strains.

94. It was my first visit there due to the dispensary I used to go to closed up. This happened to be the closest one nearby. It was a great experience for a first visit and they give you many freebies if you’re new as well as 10% your purchase. The employees there were wonderful as well and I plan on going back next time without a second thought.

95. Drove out from the boonies to pick up some Professor chaos, on recommendation of a cancer survivor, End of the batch, only leaves left. Budtender recommended Candyland, and Granddaddy Cush. (I am a GDP girl) about half into a Joint of Candyland WELL DONE!
    No anxiety, no panic,bit if an itchy nose, but so far impressive. Relaxed and chill but thinking if it wasn’t raining I could garden! I am horrible with names and couldn’t tell you if she told me her name or not, budtender did good!!

They offer free snacks and slushees, have ten percent off 4 days of the week, and offer everything from medicinal cooking needs to medicated beverages and trendy, vintage tools. 126. I stumbled across this place after having two of my usual places shut down and another having had to pull all of their medibles. Ashlee was fantastic and super patient with me since it was very overwhelming as to the huge variety of medicine they had! The prices were fair and right in line with the other dispensaries I’ve been using. The welcome gift was SUPER SWEET!!!! Who doesn’t love socks!!! This place is somewhat out of my way on my work route but I will be back. Really impressive on so many fronts. And CBD meds for my very old, arthritic fur baby… how wonderful! And lovely gifts like non-CBD doggy treats, candles, etc. My only complaint is how far away from home it is!!! That’s not much to complain about though!!!

127. I have never experienced a dispensary like GREEN GENIE from the BEAUTIFUL budtenders to the clean environment. The flowers here are by far the best on the west. Although I’m not big on edibles they have a wide selection an for the donation they ask for I always want to buy them. Check em out and sip on a medicated slurpee while u shop.

142. I cannot say enough nice things about this place! From the moment I walked in, even the security guard was pleasant and chatty. When I entered the store, I was immediately approached by an employee – out on the floor! I’ve been to several other dispensaries, and no one has gone through any real effort to help out a newbie, let alone walk out from behind the counter… She took the time to show me around and highlight the innumerable products they carry, answered all of my questions and helped me understand so much. Every single person was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend time. I will not only be back to Green Genie, but will make this my primary dispensary, even though I live nearly 20 miles away.

144. Awesome security and lighting. Parking area in the front and on the side can be a little complicated to maneuver around. Check-in is easy and simple, the girls always address you by your name and are very,very helpful and knowledgeable. Rest assured you will be taken care of with respect and feel at home with each Budtenter!!! They should get tips!!! My favorite is Lindsay and The owner also shakes your hand and gets to know you. 147. THANK GOD YOU’RE BACK OPEN! During the time period you were closed. I had to drive all over Detroit to try to find my meds that I get from you. I take a Tincture 2000mg. It has helped me tremendously with my severe chronic pain. We never found it anywhere else. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OPENING BACK ! WE NEVER WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE !

148. Morgan = Bomb Budtender. Helped me 3x’s this week for all my high cbd flower needs. Prices and specials are pretty standard. Wish they had more of my strains in stock but with the current laws they have in place I understand the availability issue. Hopefully that changes on December 6th. They always have multiple good substitutions, though.

For my fibro and migraines, they have an absolutely HUGE selection of CBD products, which I use almost exclusively to treat my pain. AND THEY ARE AMAZING. And for my anxiety, they have a great strain of flower that works perfectly for me without making me a stoned butt-munch. Its called Master Yoda, and it gives me a relaxed, calm, but completely lucid feeling. I don’t experience any bad side effects, and it totally soothes my anxiety. Please check this place out. Lin was helpful and friendly however I am disappointed she forgot to include my free pre roll because it was my first time visiting. They are also set up a little different so dont expect to just walk in and browse immediately. You’ll have to wait in the lounge until called for a tour and they give you back your ID/Card at the end when checking out.

     My only problem is that the last three times in a row I’ve watched the budtender grab the weed with her bare hands. Last time she used her thumb to force my weed into a jar that was clearly too small. Please keep your hands to yourself and use the tweezers..

357. My first time at green genie was decent. Nice lil goodie bag and a walk through tour of the shop with one of the bud tenders to check everything out. Decent selection on candies, my favorite medibles. Flower was subpar. Lots of jars with yellow nugs, poorly treated nugs, low thc content. Bought an eighth of their wedding cake special for $40, but they charged me $50, and it hardly can get me medicated. Won’t be back here again

379. Excellent staff! Ashley greeted me as soon as I walked in and since this was my first time here, gave me a tour. I told her what I was looking for and she suggested a couple for me to try. The Alaskan Thunder Rock is a totally different high for me. It hit me very quickly and went in a couple of waves. First was an intense head high, then slowly morphed into a body high. It didn’t do much for my nerve pain, but overall a good relaxing high.

     I also got an indica, which I don’t remember the name, but it did just what I was looking for, a nighttime sleep aid and pain reliever.

     I’ll definitely come back because the staff was friendly and they have a huge selection!!

She showed me around their outstanding showroom, highlighting certain products along the way. I ended up leaving with some premium flower and a bottle of their delicious Genie Guice. 390. Green Genie is hands down the most professional, customer service oriented dispensary I’ve had the pleasure to visit. Their selection is fantastic and the staff always seems eager to make suggestions that work within my budget. Sarah B. and Lindsay are two of the best budtenders I’ve had the pleasure to do business with but I’ve yet to have a bad experience with any of the store’s employees.

     My only complaint would be that the prerolls here suck. For those of you who, like me, enjoy trying new strains by purchasing a nice preroll-to-go you’ll be disappointed to find that they don’t have prerolls of any of their strains, the prerolls they do have are overpriced, and (worst of all!) even the “premium” $15-for-two prerolls are made of ditch weed.

     Other than that one minor complain, Green Genie is fantastic! Well lit and secure; friendly and knowledgable staff; spotlessly clean and well stocked store. All around a great experience.

396. This is by far the best dispensary in the entire Detroit metropolitan region. I have been coming here since I moved to Redford. The place has some of the best medicine in town. The atmosphere from the time you enter until you leave feels like family. They know you bye name, no your patient history, and provide some of the best bud tenders in the state. They are always friendly and offer the best variety of medicinal choices in the State! It’s the only dispensary I use!

399. Gotta love getting stuck with a defective product due to their “one month” return policy. What ever happened to 100% guarantee? In October I bought a mightnight express cart. I had one already so I didn’t need it right away. It takes me a while to get through one. Well My unopened cart started leaking in the box… and I lost almost all of it… So now that I need the new one… I’m out all the money for it because I had bought it in “October” . It’s not like these things go bad in less than two months. It’s Unopened. Leaking everywhere… You can see it leaking. And now I’m stuck with it and have no medication. How greedy.

415. I was sad to see the slushies are gone. Also on some products, CBD to be specific the prices have doubled. I know this is a small business and it may be because the State of MI is cracking down on everyone. Also some of the CBD products I used to get here are gone altogether. It was very disappointing as I’ve been coming here pretty much since they opened. I brought my sister here and was kind of sorry I did.
     Shandi our budtender was very nice and patient. She’s the reason for the 5 stars. She was excellent!

422. Jet fuel strain was excellent for me. But, the setup of this dispensary is a bit overwhelming. Lengthy application with long “wait”, go back “wait” in another area, it’s not even crowded.
     Bar tender really nice and knowledgeable. ATM tucked oddly in a walkway when everyone is passing over your shoulder when withdrawing money. Then, pay at one window then go out the door to another window for purchase pickup. Then, realized once I got to my car I didn’t even receive my pre-roll as promised!!!! You have to go through so much in this dispensary. I didn’t go back for pre-roll, waste of time. I had high hopes driving far 30min. from Downriver based on a recommendation. I understand how jam packed it gets but it’s far to many steps, which is exhausting. I frequent two other dispensaries where the traffic is tripled from open to close and I’m always in and out with all the bells and whistles. The traffic flow needs to be re-worked!!

They took me on a tour of their facility that lasted way longer than I would have expected, but was awesome and Lilly really knew her stuff.
