7. These folks are wonderful! The gentleman who works in the front (I believe his name is Kenny) is really great. I’ve been waited on twice by Bridget and she was so incredibly helpful and sweet. I absolutely love their hard candies and their infused honey, I use it in my tea all the time. They also have lots of opportunities to get reward points, which is great and every time I go, they are having a great special! If you’re a new patient, you get a 20% off coupon but I haven’t even used it yet cause they have so many great sales! I definitely recommend going to Garden Remedies.

8. Little weird cuz it was my first time but the lady at the security desk picked up on the fact that I was a newbie and made me comfortable. Super nice, signed up for the rewards program and everything. GREAT flower and super natural cartridges. They sell grams which for me is awesome to sample a bunch of strains. Overall loved it. Will be a long time customer.

9. I visited for the fist time on Tuesday 1/29, and with out significant motivation i will not return. This location is not close to my home however was on my way home from a work trip so i stopped to see if it was worth it as i have purchased pre-rolls from this brand at other dispensaries and was curious to try the straight flower. They also deliver to my area so if it turned out well, I planned to take advantage of that.

   The good:
   It was simple to make an appointment online (thought its confusing as to if its required or not). Metered parking was readily available close to the store. Front desk staff was polite and quick. Pre-rolls from here are rolled properly, and burn well.

   The not so good:
   The staff out back is kinda meh, didn’t feel particularly friendly, not rude, but most places have much more upbeat and friendly feeling staff. The flower is questionable at best however. I purchased 3 strains, bruce banner #3, tangerine kush and rainmaker. There was no consistency. The rainmaker was well cured and solid buds, though some of the buds were mostly stem and should not have been packaged as flower. The tangerine kush was 3 months old, which is shocking to me as most vertically integrated facilities i get bud that is merely days from packaging. It did have a humidity pack inside (unlike the others) so the buds were decent, but tasted and and not fresh. The bruce banner is what prompted this review, it was HORRIBLE. The buds were overly dry and had absolutely no heft to them. It tasted pretty bad, which is depressing as i have a pre-roll from a different batch that tastes amazing. it does not look like they properly cure/store their bud before packaging.

   The pricing is a tad on the high side as well, a travel pack of pre-rolls (7 .5 gram joints) is 50 bucks. I can get the exact same thing (their brand) at other dispensaries cheaper.

   Overall:
   Staff is meh
   Pricing is high
   Flower is pretty bad unless you get lucky
   Pre-rolls are great but by them elsewhere

   In the end, i cannot recommend this dispensary at this time. While the pre-rolls are good, now that i have seen the quality of their flower, it makes me question the quality of the flower in the pre-rolls as well. If you live nearby, you have many other choices to pick from for your needs.

11. Nice location, not busy when I went. I wanted to see if they were still having issues with their flower, so I got a gram of their Cornbread. Not impressed at all – packaged in January but still so very dry. However, I also got a preroll of Tangerine Kush – not dry at all and this was probably the best packed preroll I’ve gotten from any dispensary in Mass. Their cartridge is also the smoothest, most potent, and cleanest oil cartridge I’ve gotten in Mass. Overall an excellent experience, and I will be returning. Just please work on the flower dryness!

12. Extremely pleased as Garden Remedies is now my only needed and exclusive dispensary. The selection has been able to give me relief as there is always a well balanced range of different medicines. All of the flower and oils have been the highest quality i’ve ever consumed period.

20. So for the first time I visited Garden Remedies in Newton. It is located in a commercial area in Newton and is convenient for parking.

    The entrance is anonymous and safe, and you exit through a door that other offices in the building exit through, which is great for me personally.

    The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I went to New GrassRoots Institute so it is refreshing to talk to people that know what they are talking about.

    The flower and products are top notch and I love that fact that GR is the only MA dispensary owned and run by a doctor.

    It is great to know you are in a doctors hands and the flower shows that for sure. I recommend them to anyone with a medical card in Massachusetts.

24. Worst. Dispensary. Ever.
    I made my appointment, walked 3 miles in the rain, to get a single gram of flower with my last $15. After filling out the paperwork and entering, I was notified that they were out of packaged grams and pre rolls. The budtender laughed and said well you can get an 8th for $50. I left empty handed, cold, wet, and bitter that they werent able to sell me a single gram all because there wasn’t any pre packed. I will never return.

25. Convenient location, close to the Mass Pike. There is easy on street parking but it is a busy road. There is a cross walk with light and usually a cop on duty to help you cross if you need to park across the street.

29. Went Christmas Eve 2016 for my first visit and mid February for my second. The vape cartridges are the only product bringing me back. I have tried the flower both visits and was not impressed at all. Very dry, loose nugs with little to no flavor/smell. The vape cartridges are very smooth and tasty but too expensive for heavy, everyday use. Haven’t tried anything else so not going to knock the rest of their products!

34. I have been using Garden Remedies home delivery for 8 months now and I have to say the service is fantastic. Not only are they incredibly kind, but they also send a text telling you when your delivery will arrive. All of their products are of great quality and their customer support is top notch. I have to say I am astounded as to how far the medical marijuana industry has come and highly recommend Garden Remedies to anyone in the Newton or Boston area.

35. Flower quality is quite good, tends to be fairly fresh and they use humidity control packs in the packaging to keep extra fresh. They tend to be fairly indica heavy on their menu which for someone who really only enjoys sativas is tricky. I have to stock up when anything sativa heavy comes out.

    The pen cartridges dilemma!!! Make more! Everyone wants the sativa cartridge….just do it!

37. Hate to say it… This Dispensary has really fallen off the last couple months. Flower quality used to be really good, received small fluffy buds that should have been left in the trim bin. Seems that there are multiple phenos of most strains with only one of any real value. Lip balm? bubble bath? bbq sauce? what a waste of THC.. The in store menu is never the same as the one listed on the website, really disappointing as they were my go to.

49. Parking blows. I have seen just to many yellow weak flowers and too many seeds to ever go back here.Flowers are generally subpar at best and crap at worst. Flowers are usually airy also and rather unpotent with a bad taste to them. 10 year grower and 25 year smoker here.

52. This is as close to “the dream” of intelligent, legal marijuana services as it can get. This was my first time buying marijuana legally and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Service was very quick, friendly, personable. I got checked in in a second even though they prefer you to enroll online. The woman at checkout who helped me was an incredible help and was patient explaining details to me.

    The oil I got is incredible. I got a .5ml cart of the Ghost Haze and I can’t believe it, but it actually really tastes *that* good all on its own. You would want to smoke it even if it wasn’t psychoactive. And on top of that, the psychoactive part, is exactly what I want out of cannabis. It’s a very energetic, social medicine. The reputation it has is very, very well deserved. Unfortunately, the flower is very old and dry. I got an eighth of the Chemdog. I have heard from elsewhere people have complained about their flower being old so it’s a pattern. The bodeva packs they use just don’t cut it at all IMO. I’m not running the place so I can’t speak for the decisions they make, but the output makes it seem like it’s just a bad idea. I’m sure the science says these humidity packs are fine, but the tested date on my package says March, and it’s clear as day the problem is that the bud was sitting next to a humidity pack for six months. I guess the outcome is better than if it was sitting in the open but their logistics as far as handling bud makes me think I’ll only come back for the oil.

    So I focused a bit here on how bad the flower is, but compared to the overall service, it’s more accurate to say the flower is just mediocre. The overall experience was so, so good!

60. Though pre-packaging everything may help things flow faster, I just don’t care for it. I feel like I’m being cheated. I’ve gone home and emptied the flower out onto my own scale and it’s not always a full gram. If they didn’t sell everything prepackaged, they would be able to sell 1 gram at any time and not always run out like they do currently. Why would I want to buy 1/8 when I don’t even know if I like it? It’s not like I can return it. And who wants pre-rolls when you grind the flower into dust and doesn’t pull right? And the pre-roll selection is limited anyway. In a nutshell, they are my last resort as far as dispensaries go.

63. I have been going to Garden Remedies since the day they opened and they are by far the best dispensary in the Boston area. They’ve got a great selection and unmatched prices. Their friendly, knowledgeable staff is always willing to offer advice and answer questions (while also keeping the line moving, unlike some other Boston dispensaries I’ve been to).

64. The staff were all extremely helpful and patient with questions. The flower is all organic and their AJ Sour D was exactly what I was hoping for. The smell and taste were spot on and full of D and the smoke uplifted me immediately and with out a doubt helped instantly with depression. Thank you Garden Remedies for fantastic flower.

65. Please is sick! I have been to multiple dispensaries through out the state and GR is by far the best out of them all! Although netacare comes in a close second. The location Of GR is simply and easy plus the staff is always so friendly and accommodating.
    Shout out to my girl YVI who runs she at GR and always has a helpful hint or advice on what’s good for the day.
    They also have a lot of great accessories as I purchased my last glass pipe from GR which is pretty Dope.
    All and all this is one of the best dispensaries in New England!

69. Garden remedies is my new favorite dispensary in ma. Super pleased with the bubba Kush. This batch is honestly superior quality compared to flowers Ive tried at nearby dispensaries. The flowers are not only pungent and proper smelling, but super flavorful and clean tasting smoke and properly flushed. Also i got their Scott’s og rosin. I hope to keep seeing rosin rise in popularity around here. If you like Neta’s bho concentrates ( also good), I highly recommend trying their rosin. Its a more full spectrum effect than the super refined heady buzz of most bho. The rosin tastes nice, very clean and so smooth as well. I forgot to catch the budtender’s name, but he was super nice, helpful and truly knowledgeable. Hopefuly over time the prices will start dropping at the MA dispensaries. Anyways I’m definitely going to be visiting this dispensary again 🙂

71. Overall a nice establishment, limited products due to the fact they just opened earlier this week. I walked in to find out it is an appointment dispensary, but they got me in without any trouble. I was a little upset that outside of flower being in a display case they don’t show what the flower looks or smells like.

The staff is welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable which is very useful when shopping for new products at a medical marijuana dispensary. Though I had never met the budtender before, Andrew made me feel right at home and like we were already friends. I appreciated how eager he was to explain and show me each product that I asked about. Show and tell is always great, but when it came time for me to use the products myself I was blown away. I loved that Travel Pack hasA Seven pre-rolled joints each filled with .5g of flower, making for a quick and consistant option to unwind at the end of the day. I feel like its the perfect wee Everything from the infused bath salts to the vape pen cartidges, I was nothing but pleased by how wholesome and clean their product line is.

77. Garden Remedies is easily accessible from the Mass Pike and Rte. 9. The strains of flower are better than most I have found. Although I have not tried the edibles, I have a friend who buys them and loves them. Price is still an issue as it is with all dispensaries but Garden Remedies has daily specials which gives you more opportunities to try things to see if they work. I highly recommend Garden Remedies. The biggest problem with it is that there is very little parking. You just have to luck out or park in the nearby Whole Foods or the liquor store. There is street parking but it’s usually all taken and there aren’t many spaces right out front. I am on disability and the parking can become a problem. Patience will pay off! Go. Check it out. It’s well worth it.

93. I’ve been here a few times now since they’re right around the corner from me. The facility is really nice and clean, and the staff is really friendly and willing to help. So far I’ve had their Cornbread, Scotts OG and Chem 4. The quality of the bud is good and it smokes well, but it was a little dry. When I looked at the packaging, I noticed that it was packed in September. I’m not judging them on this; this is part of the growing pains for a dispensary that didn’t know when they were going to open, due to rules and regulations. I know they have more in processing and growing now, and I expect to see a fresh batch soon. I’ll continue to go here – the staff is great and quality is good, and it should get better as they work out the growing pains of a new shop. Go visit them!

100. The location and atmosphere are great. Never crowded because it’s by-appointment only. The employees are very nice, but less knowledgable than those at other dispensaries I go to.

     The product line isn’t that large.. maybe 5-6 flowers to choose from (mostly indica), some low-dose edibles, vape pens, and (as of late) taffy concentrate. I’m glad they added at least one concentrate to the menu, but I still think they need some wax/shatter. They also need more sativa-dominant strains.

     I’ve only bought flower from them, and it’s been quite potent but generally dry. I also found about a dozen seeds in one of my recent containers (I think Rugburn OG).

103. Where do I even begin?! My experience at Garden Remedies went above and beyond my expectations with regard to customer service and quality of product. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and received excellent one on one attention from the staff. One of the main reasons I use medical marijuana is my anxiety combined with depression, and the staff members were very knowledgeable with recommending certain strains as well as products over others that would best help my needs. I was especially attracted to their assortment of bath products and lotions. Working full time leaves me sore and even more stressed than my anxiety alone, so the staff recommended that I try the Oatmeal Honey Garden Immersion Bath Salts and the Lavender Bath Bomb; both of which smell absolutely wonderful and provide such a sense of deep relaxation. The medicated lotion bar has also proved especially useful to help with treating a recent burn (from work) that is still healing. I also purchased several pre rolled joints as well as Starkiller flower rosin, and loved both the taste and effect I have experienced from the products so far. I would highly recommend Garden Remedies both for their assortment of products and knowledge when helping patients, and look forward to returning and trying more of their products as well as restocking on bath bombs!

Everything was delicious, I’ll definitely restock. The consultant who helped me was patient with all of my questions and made great suggestions. The staff was friendly and energetic. I had called a couple days prior and a caregiver answered, she was very sweet and had told me someone named Matt will call you to answer your questions. Matthew introduced me a to a guy named Andrew. He was the nicest man I ever met he spent an hour explaining everything to me and what would be best for me.      Decided to take the trip to Newton to check out GR; took me over an hour to get to the location from Lowell. Very clean facility. Very nice desk lady. Friendly and very understanding staff. Love the wood interior and privacy glass walls at the register. I came to GR for their 20% off first time discount and for a few different strains of flower but they system was down state wide, so I had to paid full price but will be offered the discount next time from what the staff said. They also didn’t have all the strains I wanted to try. I wish they had more smaller sizes I.E. 1 gram containers. I only use a little medicine every day and a gram will last be 2-3 days. Over all I am happy with GR. Not the best dispensary but certainly not the worst in the state. See you next time, I would still like to see smaller container sizes and I want to use my discount next timedYtm you guys have something great going here; add more smaller container sizes and keep they stocked for people driving over an hour to see you. 130. I initially had rave reviews. Not any more. I can’t believe the price gouging going on here! Seriously bad. I had been buying 10 pack caps for $30. Last visit told no 10 packs in store so would have to buy 5 packs at $25 each. I said “no way, I have been buying 10 for $30”. They finally gave it to me for $30. Today, a week later,there were no 10 packs only 7 packs for $35 each so I paid more, for less product only a week later! The cashier knew nothing about products. Have to say other cashiers there were more helpful. I will bring my business elsewhere after these last 2 experiences with GR. People notice when prices are exorbitantly increased in a short period of time!

131. I have never been to the actually dispensary so i can’t tell you about the atmosphere in Quincy but the delivery system is pretty great. The flower is strong clean stuff the only issue with it is the trim. Seems like alot of extra leafy material that shouldn’t be part of a dispensary 8th.

     The cartridges work very well until there is just a bit of oil left, then due to design it gets difficult. Id advise next time the do a redesign of their cart that they have 4 holes at the bottom of the cart instead of 2 stacked on top of each other. The flavor and high are good tho.

     I also tried the “SAP” which tastes great. Im going to be buying a few of these next time they are on sale.

Their Longs Peak Blue strain is a solid 10/10. They don’t have private parking, but there’s public parking in the street. There’s an employee spot but don’t park there!

159. Amazing Staff, Very clean and professional. This is a true medical dispensary that uses only the best Rare Dankness Seed strains. These strains are real award winning medical strains. Vape pens are very good and use the same strains as the flower. Nice to see otto 2 high cbd strain in this form as well as a ghost train sativa for daytime use. Would like to see the price come down by doing a cartridge return program that allows you to return old cartridges for recycle or reuse. Or sell just the oil and refill kits. It really cures my spinal pain but 75$ a week isnt possible for me personally. Love that they don’t use propelyne glycol in them though. This is a top notch dispensary and i only go here.Maybe somehow find a way to lower the cartridge cost. Near perfect.

The containers are pre-packaged so you don’t know what you’re getting. I feel like I was ripped off. I hope they can give me a refund or something. 162. Garden Remedies is one of the newest locations for Medical Marijuana Patients in Massachusetts. This place is super chill and will let you check out all their bud is the most defined way. They have these jars with microscopes on it so you can really get a good look into the plant/nuggets and also be able to smell it to see if it is a strain that they enjoy. Garden remedies marijuana are a lot more fluffier and fresher then some of the other dispensaries in MA. Cant wait till they start making a variety of concentrates.

163. NETA was my top spot but I have recently been going to the Garden. Their flower was a bit dry but now come with free freshness packs that can be reused and def helped correct dryness issues. Flower is now top-notch. Vape pens dont scratch your throat because they dont use additives and are all natural. Cartridges arent cheap plastic which is a plus. Wicked clear as well. Gummies are delicious but strong.

164. Garden Remedies is my go to dispensary. They have a variety of medically infused products such as lip balm, bath bombs, lotion and the list continues. The staff is very helpful and friendly ask them if you have questions about anything and if they don’t know they will find someone who does. I love the quality of all there flower it’s always fresh, smells amazing, and they are so beautifully crystallized!! They constantly ask us patients what we would like to see and they have been taking our suggestions and trying them out which is amazing!

165. No lines and spectacular service. The Budtender was very helpful and knowledgeable. I got a quarter with two 1/8s being different strains. Each 1/8 weighed 3.8 g and on top of that weight a boveda pack in each. Highly recommended!

166. Garden Remedies is off to a good start. They should look to expand the menu a bit, but I am guessing they know that.

     I generally like to use my own vape pen to medicate and I think that they should considering selling the oil without any of the hardware. I’m all set up with a vaprorizer and cartridges. They should sell the oil in an eye dropper or small bottle. The price is high for oil at Garden Remedies and I suspect they could lower costs for the patients (and reduce waste) by not making us buy the new cartridge every time.

     The fruit gummy edibles are really nice, a personal favorite.

     Gorilla Glue #4 sativa vape pen is wonderful. Feeling energized, uplifted, and a sense of well-being. Flowers I got were VERY dry, crumbled extremely easily, maybe packed a while ago? Not sure.

     Nice that they sell smaller sizes to test out what you like. Multiple hybrid, indica, and sativa options. Looked like 1 higher CBD option, but still a good one.

The woman who dispensed to me today couldn’t tell me ANYTHING about the products themselves or a recommendation of any sort. I left spending $30 on TWO prerolls of old dry bud. I visited another dispensary last week and left spending $24 on THREE dank prerolls. I can’t believe I spent money at GR again. I hate spending money there. I should know that they’re always in and out for a reason. No one else wants to spend top dollar on beasters. GR can’t compete with most of the other dispensaries in the state. I can’t think of one thing that they excel in….I guess their low wait times. Whelp.

Nice office decor with, vape and smoke accessories on display behind a locked glass wall and in each private dispensary bay. The appointment method was different, but makes your visit efficient (no lines). This facility has a much smaller footprint compared to NETA or Patriot Care-Boston, but the experience is excellent with their variety of quality flower strains and concentrate options (oils are made with co2 not butane etc.). Prices are aggressive…but I get the business costs. As time goes on, i’m sure economic forces will swing prices towards the patient/consumer. This spot is definitely worth a visit.

     First time over to Garden Remedies and the place is stunning. Clean, lots of exposed wood and frosted dividers of privacy. Felt very comfortable discussing my problems with their budtenders.

     Bought their Longs Peak, Bubba, dark chocolate edibles and their “taffy” which they tell me is a CO2 concentrate. The flower was on point with a great smell, lots of crystals and smoked well in my bubbler. The edibles were delicious and kicked in quickly. The “taffy” was by far the best concentrate I’ve tried from dispensaries. No where near as harsh on the throat as a BHO shatter. It snapped away well and was easy to dab.

     New go to dispensary. Recommend a visit.

Honestly I think it’s unfair to give them poor reviews because of what the Town of Newton caused. Garden remedies would do walk ins if they could, but it’s in the towns bylaw to have appointments so there’s nothing they can do. That being said I visited today during a massive sale and it was extremely busy and they handled it well for such a small place. They also had so many new and different strains it was amazing to see. Tons of sativas which have been hard to come by in MA lately. I picked up, grease monkey, Citrique, and Queen of soul. They all look and smell amazing and I can’t wait to try each one.

     Overall shout out to GR, you have been faced with a ton of adversity and I think you’re doing great!

230. Their edibles are made with high fructose corn syrup. A known pro-inflammatory ingredient. I asked a supervisor to have someone call me about this, since many clients are battling inflammation among other things. Never heard back. They don’t seem to care.

     I stopped in a few weeks ago, as I was nearby and wanted to see the menu. Even though there were no lines or waiting, I was denied entrance, as I hadn’t called first and made an appointment. I asked if I could simply book one now, since it was slow and I was sitting there wanting to do business. “No … The laws have changed and you can’t book an appointment sooner than 30-60 minutes later” even though it wasn’t busy. I’m done with this place. So sad that I need to leave Newton, where I live, and try other dispensaries further away. I don’t find them customer service oriented at all.

236. I’ve been visiting garden remedies since I got my medical card in March, since then I have found a human hair in my 8th that is already pre sealed. Kindly they refunded me, a few visits later however, I found a uncanny amount of seeds in my 8th of chem 4, along with 2 thick stems with no flowers attached to them. This last time I picked up the same strain and again it was filled with seeds and untrimmed, dry, terpless flowers. The flower was not sticky whatsoever and had a aEURoecut grassaEUR smell to it. I was going to return it but by the time I got to gardens it was closed so I smoked it out of frustration and desperation. This strain said the THCa was 28% I did not get any sort of feeling from smoking this. Completely wasted my 50 dollars and due to the lack of medicinal property within this batch of flower I have been left reeling this week which includes insomnia, lack of appetite and eating, and my stress levels have caused me to miss work. Now, more on the customer service side. I have sent several emails and spoke on the phone to two separate persons who claimed my isssues would be tended to and resolved and promised I would hear back from them shortly. They never called back or wrote back. I will never,ever, waste my time,energy and money at this place again unless they make it right with me, which at this point I don’t see being feasable.

I would like to see these offered in larger quantities. Tend to only have pre rolls or grams of these. Also, lots of edible and other types of products. Nice daily menu available upon arrival.

238. Ok, I LOVE Garden Remedies. This is my place for flower. The atmosphere is so relaxing, I never wait more than 30 seconds to speak to one of the GR representatives. I’ve never stood in a line here, and I love that they are open until 8PM. I’ve gone in at 7:30 and haven’t felt rushed or pushed out the door. Staff are friendly and discuss new products with me. When I go in with a budget, they never make me feel pressured to purchase more.

240. This dispensary is over the top in atmosphere but it really doesn’t make a difference. My first visit involved filling out first time patient paperwork which was both quick and easy. After being let through the doors my budtender was pleasant and somewhat helpful. It was their first few weeks in the dispensary so they weren’t quite as insightful as I had hoped, but nonetheless helped me pick out amazing products.

     Edibles are my jam and their gummies were the perfect balance for me. They not only taste delicious but were quick to set in and have a long duration. Must try!!!!

     These guys haven’t been around for too long, but during my second visit I saw a few agents taking extra time for new patients and elderly folks, that was really nice to see. Best part is they are all really helpful but their stuff flies off the shelves! Gotta stay on top of it to get my carts when they come in! 251. Being young and suffering from severe anxiety, I was not sure what I was expecting from my first dispensary experience- I was very nervous. The members of Garden Remedies made sure to walk me through the initial steps and introducing me to treatment through Medical Marijuana.
     Now, I’ve become a frequent visitor at Garden Remedies since becoming a Medical Marijuana patient, I have only had very pleasant experiences.
     The staff acts like a family, creating a very comfortable environment. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, and knows the daily menu like the back of his/her hand.
     The menu always has a wide range of flower strains including my personal favorites, Cornbread, and Bubbakush. The edibles are tasty and consistent in top quality, and they have the most reliable and efficient vape pens/cartridges. The spa line has incredible products for chronic pain, such as their medicinal Lotion, which has changed my father’s life, who suffers from severe chronic pain.
     If it weren’t for Garden Remedies and their wonderful staff, I would not be so far on my medicinal journey.

However, their requirement for an appointment, not to mention requiring a 3 hour minimum time of when you can set an appointment from the time you make it is extremely inconvenient. I don’t have time to figure out their rules when I can walk into any other dispensary in MY time without having to worry about adhering to an arbitrary schedule imposed on me. Plus, they don’t have a parking lot on a very busy Washington Street. It seems like every day for the past several weeks, there’s some new policy that they implement without any notice or regard for their patients. It’s a shame that they make short sighted, reactionary decisions that negatively impact patients.

254. This place is awesome. Super easy to get setup in their system through their website. Then, you book an “appointment”, which basically just guarantees that someone is ready and waiting to help you when you arrive. The place is easy to find and parking was easy (metered parking out front). When you arrive, just check in at the desk and they let you into the main room. The main room has a upscale, clean and new feeling. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I also love the quantity options. Where I am a newbie to the medical world, this place offers each of their flowers in gram quantities, so it’s perfect for me. I get to try each strain without committing to a full eighth or more. They also offer edibles, jams, vape pens, and topicals. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and would definitely go back. I like the friendly, quiet and clean atmosphere (since it’s by appointment, there are a very limited number of people in the dispensary at a time). Product variety is great; flower is fresh (and smokes very well). Definitely recommend and will definitely be going back soon!

255. wow! My new favorite dispensary. I visited today because it was close to my appt earlier in the day. I had no appt and there was no wait. The flower I bought is very good. Best of all, the communication and service. I had tried to communicate with another disp. and it is a joke, they don’t answer emails or phone calls. Garden Remedies answers the phone!!!!! 272. First visit today, overall a pleasant experience however a couple of things standout. Like a lot of places the flower is pre packed but, the largest pre pack is an 1/8. get single strain oz, and be guaranteed 8 pill bottles and not a single bud over 3.5g. The kicker for me was how poorly it was trimmed. I spent over an hour trimming once I got home and saw what I got. The flower is good quality but they make you work for it lol. Also tried the sap. Potent yes, flavorless yes. It’s pretty strange, love the consistency and glass syringe but water has way more flavor. I’d recommend if your close but not, if like me, your an hours drive each way.

274. Location, service and atmosphere were all top notch. The product on the other hand was not. I purchased a quarter each of the Gorilla Glue, Cornbread, and the longs peak blue. All were dryer than anything I’ve purchased elsewhere. The Cornbread has been my favorite, it was the least dry of the 3.

     The Gorilla Glue was the most disappointing. I received my quarter in 2 pre package 8th container. Upon opening them both I found I received 75 percent shake! This was severely disappointing. One container contained nothing but shake. The other half shake half tiny nugs.
     Will most likely not be returning.

277. I believe in second chances. This was the first dispensary I visited after receiving my license. While the quality of the product is amazing, the check-In people always pleasent, it ends there. For a first time visitor, I had a lot of questions and the woman behind the counter acted like I was inconveniencing her. I didn’t go back for two months. This week I made the choice to try again. Mistake! Again quality is great. Door staff and others I encountered great, it all came back to person helping me. Since I am still new to the world of medical marijuana, I still had lots of questions. Again, them young lady behind the counter acted like she couldn’t be bothered and that my questions were annoying her. With a dispensary a few miles down the street you would think that people would treat customers better. That didn’t happen. I tried very hard to be polite and cheer up the visibly unhappy person, she just got more and more unpleasant and continued to act like my questions were idiotic. The final straw was my trying to thank her profusely for her help and saying aEURoesweetieaEUR. That seemed to be what put her over the edge. As she knows, it wasn’t meant or said in a degrading way at all. It was said to try and lighten the mood and make this young lady smile. Unfortunately all it did was cause her to say aEURoedon’t call me sweetieaEUR in a nasty way. I have to say now that I have visited other dispensaries, the service else where is better and the quality is comparable. Please teach some of your employees what customer service means. You obviously do understand that concept since it is only a few bad apples on your team that don’t understand it.

After filling out the quick information needed to register, I was made aware that I would receive a first time discount of 20% which was awesome. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and answered my questions with ease. The edibles were perfect, they worked very well to minimize my symptoms and the flower was also very good. Overall I will be returning back and might I add that the set up and atmosphere was second to none. Way to go Garden Remedies!

284. Went back a second time specifically for the Bubba. I explained this was my reason for returning. I ordered a half and was told I was limited to a quater of any strain. I said ok and proceeded to ask for 3 quater of 3 strains. The woman was very helpful and friendly she checked me out bagged everything. Upon getting home Opened the bag…and things got disappointing. I was given three eigths of one strain, two eights of the second strain I asked for, the third eight was one that I purposely avoided because I wasn’t a big fan of it. The main problem there was no Bubba, the only reason I went in the first place. Hoping I can get back to swap it out this week but the whole hassle of it kind of stinks and could have been easily avoided.

287. I went to GR looking for a very specific terpene profile. While I was there the bud tender was able to find a few lab reports and guide me along. I found a strain that was close to what I was looking for but was told that if I contacted the cultivation plant that they might be able to get me specific profiles for certain not batches. I left and emailed them and was blown away at the amount of information that was shared. A very big thank you to Felicia and Susan for having the patience to get me all the terpene profiles I requested. So that weekend I went back and picked up exactly what I was looking for. The manager on duty went the extra mile to look up a few more profiles to satisfy my curiosity. My only other request would be to please make this information available on your website or possibly an iPad in store so people can browse through all the terpene profiles tested and what batches are in the store available for purchase. The information is so valuable and it’s just sitting there unused. Thanks again for all the help.

289. If GR were closer to my home or work, it would be my primary shop. The staff is warm and knowledgeable, and extremely receptive to feedback and suggestions for products. Their edible menu is not huge but it stands in my opinion as overall best tasting and very high quality. They also make the best cartridges in the area. I don’t buy them elsewhere anymore. My favorite strain hasn’t been available lately but when they have it, it’s out of this world!

     Also, this place is run by a doctor (anesthesiologist) which i think is great.

     Street parking, but if you come during the week its not too bad from what they tell me. They also have specials during the week!! Packaging is pre-packaged grams, eighths, and so on. I wish they would package to order, so you could see what you’re getting. I also had such a waste of those little prescription bottles when I came home. They have those glass jars with samples you can look at but I found the sample to look a bit better than what I got. They have Boveda humi packs in each pre-packaged bottle which I really liked but that’s got to cost a LOT of money, and again wasteful.
     These guys are on the newer side and service was fantastic so I cant wait to go back in a month to see if anything has changed.

I tried everything that was thrown at me: physical therapy, chiropracty, neurofeedback, anti-inflammatories, pain killers of every shape and size, and many others. Nothing gave me any relief, rather I was plagued by side effects and withdrawal symptoms. Finally, when Medical Marijuana was legalized I was able to try new approaches. I tried a few different products from various dispensaries, and started getting some good results. When I tried Garden Remedies Medicated Lotion from their Spa line I had found the perfect solution! My wife puts a couple of squirts on my back, and I’m good for the whole day. It has changed my life! Thank you GR!

311. This is a second-time review for me. I’ve fallen out of love with GR, mainly due to the absurd restrictions on which they operate (due to Newton, I’m assuming).

     Strictly appointment-only, which is inconvenient for those with busy lifestyles and squeeze in a dispensary visit when I have a spare minute. These appointments need to be booked – minimum – 3 hours in advance.

     They have also resorted back to a cash-only system; the ATM fee outside is $3.

     Their vape cartridges are delicious and potent. But they are limited to 500mg and you burn through them very quickly (there are more holes onside the cartridge, meaning more oil used per hit). On top of this aEUR” they are $75/500mg cartridge. Just can’t justify the price difference when others have similar/same for $50 or $60.

318. Here’s an update to my earlier review. What we hear all the time about most dispensaries is that the flower is pretty dry. Well Garden Remedies has apparently heard that and now packages everything with Boveda packs. The beauties will not only absorb moisture like the packs in electronics and dog treats, but they release moisture if necessary. it keeps the container at a specified relative humidity – a little humidor in every child proof vial!! I bought 3 strains…Rugburn OG, Starkiller, & Ghost Train Haze… all were beautiful most buds. Easily the best purchase I’ve made since getting my card! can’t imagine going anywhere else at this point!

322. I wrote an extremely long review ranting. And raving about how amazing this place is and I can’t locate it in the reviews so I’m doing another short one.
     I’m on disability for a chronic blood disease and the products at garden remedies…flower for daytime and nighttime, vape pen cartridges and CBD capsules for inflammation have saved me. I had a splenectomy this time last year and never touch a pain killer after surgery. Garden Remedies provided my medicine. And the staff are highly educated to help new patients and returning patients. Welcoming, clean, and worth the commute I take from Boxborough, MA. I’ve been here over 50 times. My go-to dispensary and I’ve been to 15 other dispensaries in MA and none compare to this location.

Basically I bought crap from a medical dispensary that like the industry has become appears to be profits over patients in prices and obviously in the quality. I grow some myself and I know better and I know quality. My theory is that maybe pollination to force maturity is going on. Just sayin’. Looking at the last oz that I bought I saw what appeared to be plants caught right before full blown seeding. Several diff strains too. Not just one. I know what seed pods look like and your weed had immature seed pods throughout. The last 1/8th of the seeded Chem 4 was a complete disappointment. Like I did NOT have an extra $50 lying about to burn. Like most patients I struggle financially for what?! Overpriced garbage. Smh ..

331. Garden Remedies is a great place to get your medicine. They are constantly improving and coming out with new products like candies. They also have the best tasting vape pens without PEG in MA. Also, they now include freshness packets in the flower to make sure no flower is too dry or too moist.

332. Easily the most informed staff members on their own product and its effects. I like talking to PSAs that know a lot about cannabis because I do too – so I want y’all to keep up. Other dispensaries really need to catch up to GR in that regard.

     The concentrates are the best in the state – hands down. The flower? …Is hit or miss. I bought 2 8ths of Rugburn OG on my last visit. One jar had nice fat nugs and they all looked perfect. The other jar had ENORMOUS stems, yellow burnt trim leaves all over most of the bud, and nothing but tiny larf nuggets. What the heck? How can I be satisfied with one jar of perfect medicine and the other looking like B or C grade at best?

     The price is also astronomical. They need to bring it down ASAP because things just aren’t that expensive anywhere else in the country and even in the state.

336. I just have to say again how great the opointment system is. The only other dispensary I know that does that is needham. It really does help. Knowing I have a dedicated time slot I can really plan my day and not have to worry about running to buy meds and being there a long time. With chronic pain and anxiety sometimes the long lines and crowds are unmanageable and that goes for any dispensary so thanks again for being able to book an oppointment

338. Was a great place. They say they help but do not. In fact I am a veteran and had a discount to be told sorry we are no longer doing the discounts, only 10%. Needless to say, found a better place and products

339. went over to Melrose Grand Opening , today- tried to go in store with card and ID ,was told they weren’t open by a very angry unfriendly guy, Asked him when they were opening and he directed me to a another angry unfriendly guy in a suit. Asked him when the store would open and he said maybe in a couple of days check the web site. They don’t answer the phone and they act like thugs when you ask them a question. Don’t think I will return.

340. Garden Remedies is so far my favorite Massachusetts dispensary. Overall I’ve found the flower to be quality, and the service pleasant. There are a couple areas that could use improvement however so I’ll get those out of the way first. The first thing is ensuring there is at least one sativa available everyday. Another thing is the online account and appointment system appears finicky and can be confusing. I have not had problems getting walk in appointments however. The last issue I have is some of the prices particularly for edibles and concentrates seem too high at times.

     Now for the good. The flower is consistently aromatic, frosty, and colorful. Garden Remedies includes Boveda packs in every jar and this has resulted in a lack of dry flower issues that seem to plague other MA dispensaries, so definitely a smart choice on their part. Wait time tends to be non-existent in my experience. The staff are always polite and helpful. Additionally the strains available tend to be very high quality Rare Dankness strains.

     Overall Garden Remedies is off to a good start. The majority of the issues are minor and appear to be related to the fact they have only been open for a few months. I would not hesitate to recommend this dispensary over other Massachusetts dispensaries and I look forward to seeing how they improve once they’ve been open longer.

343. I would say for my first time using a Dispensary I was pretty happy with my experience. Place is very clean. Staff is friendly answered all my questions. Parking is a little tough but now a days everyone could use some fresh air. Only problem I had was with the Tangie Distillate. Not with the actual Product itself. But the fact that about 60% of it Got lost in the threads of the cap/threads of the actual container and was pretty much impossible to get out. What I was able to salvage was Incredible. I doubt I would be willing to try that again. The price I paid for 1 gram to maybe get 2-3 dabs of it was just disappointing. I wold probably try one of there other Concentrates that is packaged differently. Or at least look at the container before you stick it in a bag and hand it to a patient. Other than that pretty I guess.

346. I understand town requires appts., sec guard etc. But if your early the remedy should not be having people aEURoehanging around waitingaEUR…the exact thing the town doesn’t want. It would be much better taking care of the customers, having them wait indoors. It wouldn’t be a problem if you open and staff all the windows. People can’t stand in line? Just a bit too much aggravation when u can place an order online at NETA, swing by and pick it up.
