    I felt so cared about by the staff, who are very knowledgeable. I’ve had a great experience each time I go here and the products are great. My only slight change I’d like to see would be for the edibles to come down in price, as they have become my favorite items for the discretion factor.

    I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The day I went was a perfect storm of situations that created a full dispensary with log waits. But all of this was immediately explained to me upon entering, and as a first time visitor, I got a friendly, knowledgeable consult in less than 1 minute. The place is clean, tastefully designed with wood furnishings and warm lighting. I feel like if during a migraine I would love to go there just to curl up in a corner! Product was nicely packaged in scent proof and safety containers. All around great experience~ despite the wait in line!

    Went to NETA for the first time on New Year’s Eve, the line was long but the express line was longer. It moved fast though and we were in and out within an hour.

    Sadly, there were only 3 pre-rolls to choose from, and since I suffer from anxiety attacks I chose the only one that didn’t list anxiety as a side effect; Sweet Tooth. Same situation with flowers, so I went with an oldy but goody; Walker Kush.

    My budtender was knowledgeable not just about the product but also my symptoms, and was certain sweet tooth would be a good match for me. She was right. She showed me that the the pre-roll containers are air-tight so you can just drop it back in and close the cap to snub it out.

    She also mentioned that NETA receives anywhere from 1,500-3,000 patients daily. Very impressive.

    I returned New Year’s day for another pre-roll of sweet tooth… I parked right in front of the building, no line, took 10 minutes.

    After going to NETA for over a year I’ve decided to go back to a Caregiver. The thrill of going into an establishment and purchasing weed is over, for me anyway. I think I got lost in the moment of being able to do such a thing. As I got brought back to reality I realized the quality of your flower is not worth the prices you are setting. I know, I know. You’re staying competitive. However you need to price according to quality. Your buds are not all equal. Plenty of people have mentioned this, yet you continue to do nothing. It seems like you pray on the folks who are new to cannabis. The people who know of real quality are going elsewhere. Your staff is amazing as are you locations, but the quality of the product does not meet the price. I have no problem spending 350 per ounce on AAA buds but….anyway. Thank you for providing a service which is much needed. I do hope to return in the future.

    another lovely location from NETA that just impresses me. the staff is always amazing and so easy to talk to. this location has a bit of a better parking lot, and offers a bigger seating area. only downside is that it’s on the other side of the state from a lot of patients. lucky for me I have a car and friends I can visit in the area. keep up the good work!

    I’ve been to NETA in Northampton twice. My first time I went on an early Monday morning. No line I was driving home very happy with my bag of goodies within 20 min. Everyone was great, the girl who waited on me though didn’t seem to want to take the time with me. I’m 54 and don’t know a lot about, wax,oil, shatter. I do know a lot about flower. The girl was wearing a knit hat and she wasn’t rude but I felt rushed.
    Arcata train wreck( prerolled) was awesome and GG4 was good but not better than trainwreck. My second visit was a bit different seeing I went on a Saturday( huge mistake) the line was down the road. I did meet great people and we moved slowly but steady. The staff was great, the budtender was super nice. I got Moonshine Haze and GSC I wanted Facewreck but they were out. They were both good, but that Acarta Train wreck was best so far for me. The one issue I have is the flower is very dry. I put a piece of lemon rind in and it added the moisture.
    I will continue to go there. It’s run very organized and I’ve met some awesome people.
    The police also keep things safe. The interior is really beautiful and clean. And the smell inside amazing!!

    Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but weak product for medical grange. When I visited, they had two sativa strains with 9-12% THC, which is too low for many patients. Hoping they can get stronger product out soon.

    I felt the need to write this as soon as possible! I was probably one of the only medical patients that actually WANTED to go to this location on opening day for recreational use, because i had for once, never been to NETA, and I wanted to witness this wonderful event.I could not believe the number of people that were there getting in line all the way around the block! Since I have a patient card I was able to walk right inside and go to the medical side of the facility. The location and the building are both amazing! Very beautiful, i love that area. The consultant/budtender that i was greeted by was named Max, and it was the first time that she had registered a new patient, and she did and awesome job getting me put in the system and applying all the discounts (I had no idea about some!) She was a new employee, but I was amazed at the knowledge that she had of the products, and figuring in the discounts as i picked things out so that I could leave super happy 🙂 All the staff is extremely personable and friendly, and they were very organized in handling this huge influx of people. I was in and out of there in not too much time at all, although I had to wait for my friends who were in line. I can imagine that this will become more streamlined everyday that goes by, but it was not as long of a wait as it seemed it would be. The products that I got are all of the highest quality I have seen from the 3 dispensaries that I have been to… excellent!!! Keep up the great work Guys and Gals. I can’t wait to visit this location again!

    I’ve been to NETA – Northampton twice, In Good Health – Brockton and ATG in Salem three times each, and CACCI in Ayer once. NETA is the best of these four dispensaries currently open in my opinion. Feels the most like a “real” dispensary with IGH a close second. Hoping that the lawsuit in Brookline doesn’t keep them from opening their location there.

    great location, friendly helpful staff (Liz and Angie were welcoming and informative), and a full ever changing menu. last visit left me without grape ox, but I was shown other available strains with similar end results. flowers all look great and the caramels do the trick. price is right for convenience and quality, can not wait to try more product like the dose bars and lozenges. will absolutely return and recommend

    This is a bit of a two part review. As a recreational customer, I have been here twice since they opened.

    My first impression: I was one of the first people in line on opening day. Got there at 6am and was maybe 30th in line tops. It was very cold and raining and NETA personnel were out going up and down the line all morning offering coffee, cocoa, and pastries to everyone waiting. They also were often communicating updates on the opening time as well as procedures they had to go through that could potentially delay that opening. Upon opening, the line moved at a pretty reasonable pace and spirits were high the whole time.

    Entering the establishment was almost breathtaking. The interior design and decor are very modern and an honestly beautiful aesthetic. It feels very modern, almost futuristic. Very sleek and professional. I was immediately seen by a member of the team who was incredibly helpful in answering my questions. I have never used a vape pen of any kind before and wanted to hear the pros and cons between brands as well as how to use, charge, and refill the device. It was a very comforting atmosphere all around. I decided on my vape (I got the red Rubi, but it was a toss up between that and the Apex) and was on my way. The whole in-store process was maybe 10 total minutes.

    The second time I went was just this past Monday (Dec 3, 2018). This time I went a little later in the morning than on opening day, around 10am, and was incredibly surprised to find there was no line what-so-ever. Got to the store, gave my ID to the people at the door, and once again was in and out of the store in a matter of minutes. This time was a trip to grab some flower. I grabbed the Jack Frost which, being honest, smelled absolutely amazing (props to whoever bred and grew that beauty). Once again, everyone was warm, welcoming, and happy as could be.

    I’m a big fan of this place and look forward to many more future visits.

    A quick For What It’s Worth: The prices currently are definitely high, but this was the same on the West Coast in their first few years. Once the supply outweighs the demand we’ll be seeing inexpensive top shelf weed and that’ll take less time than it took for the CCC to get these shops open in the first place 😉

    2+ hr drive each way to neta….
    Staff was very friendly including security. Place was very clean and quiet.
    Grabbed three strains: Jack Frost, domnesia and dela haze. The Jack Frost and the dela haze i was kind of disappointed with. The domnesia was pretty decent though.
    Probably too far for me to drive again anytime soon unless they have some more potent product.

I live 20 min for another dispensary but I wanted to be treated like a patient and not have to wait in line outside. so I took the 2 hr 15 min ride to N.E.T.A and I was not disappointed,Got the Chemdog,Domnesia and Dela Haze vape cartridges..very impressed and will be a frequent customer when the Brookline Ma. location open..highly recommended

    Ive been here a ton of times mainly because its the only dispensary within 100 miles of me, and I am extremely disappointed. First off you cant even get really what you want because they never have enough. I asked if prices were going to drop with recreational coming into play and they said they weren’t (which is bullshit). To be honest I find better quality and better variety on the street than what I get from them, and the streets cheaper too. Service is great, everyone seems to be happy, but for what you want to be step your damn game up.

    NETA “NoHo” is the model of how cannabis can be marketed professionally and without all the stigma that comes with “using drugs”. The variety of strains, methods, and amounts of cannabis are mind-blowing. I cannot recommend enough that you do the reserve ahead option – they will sometimes turn off the reserve ahead for adult use (when they run out of stuff), but if you are awake at 8am, reserve your goods! Only once did I reserve early and then, by the time I got to the dispensary, one of my items was sold out. The budtenders are smart and know exactly which strains to recommend. Unfortunately, the adult use, non-reserve ahead line is long, and sucky if the weather is crappy – try to avoid it. Due to the popularity of this place, it always feels like a cattle pavilion when you get inside (the medical side of things, however, maintains a pleasant, relaxed feeling), but the sales folk are always friendly and patient. I love NETA and hope they open more shops!!!

    I have gone here a bunch. I love their Northampton location. I only wish we had more competition in Massachusetts so the prices were not so high, and Neta has some decent deals. And…I wish NETA offered delivery! But they are still awesome!

    for adult use, this dispensary is very poor. my partner and i were coerced into buying the most outrageously expensive items after being told everything else was conveniently out. purchased items not only had missing parts but also were much, much weaker milligram than we were led to believe. never again!

    Every time I shop here it’s a lovely experience – NETA is organized & always fully staffed but I have to keep in mind it’s not a 5 min pit stop. MMJ is part of an ongoing effort to keep my life in balance – so I take a moment to smell the buds and be present in a reality that includes legal medical cannabis use.

    One thing I would like to see is more edibles & carded tasting events. Boston has a Meetup group – why not here? While NETA is working on retail infused products – consider providing customers potent tinctures & oils so we can at least bake our own.

    It is a shame to hear people disparaging NETA in Northampton. Most of the complaints are based on a lack of understanding of the state regulations on MMJ in Mass. As a patient, first of all, the legal access to a variety of products is welcome. I have been in NETA on days of long lines where they have implemented an express system effectively, and even with the busiest times I have never felt rushed by a bud tender and they have always been honest in their assessment of any products I asked about. In general, everything has been as advertised, and the bud tenders genuine enthusiasm about giving you a smell is nice, even if it is clearly a trained behavior. They enjoy it too. Since I have actually read and taken the time to understand the laws in MA, I am hopeful that the quality and diversity of what is available will continue to improve. So far, so good.

    Walked in nervous, as is with every new place I go. Was greeted with smiling faces and courtesy which relaxed my anxiety to a decent level. All my questions and concerns were addressed and everyone(patients included) were extremely friendly. The tender I spoke with was pleasant, knowledgeable, empathetic and professional. I left satisfied and with a feeling of lightheartedness. I like the feeling of safety and community in there. The vibe of NETA Northampton is very good. The product I looked at was very well manicured and highly satisfactory. Once one walks in they are greeted with a swirl of cannabis odor which is, in my experience, a pleasant floral scent that is aromatherpeutic. To me anyway!
    I am very pleased to have made NETA Northampton my first dispensary experience.

    Their quality, selection, value, and overall customer-friendly experience blows away other MA dispensaries.
    Plus, no appointment required, and debit cards accepted. And, edibles, tincture and eight delicious strains to choose from, and more…
    Well worth the trip!

    Off-site parking only for non-medical clients. However, there is parking in a nearby adjacent parking lot on weekends. Order ahead! You’ll wait in a much smaller line. Product availability was quite limited. Only several flower options and zero edible options for non-medical. Picked up 1/8 GSC. Long line outside for non-reserve orders. I visited shop after leaving nearby INSA dispensary and line there was much shorter.

    They no longer care about medical patients.This was the first dispensary I visited when I first got my medical card 2 years ago. At that time, the staff was helpful and would offer assistance as you came in the door. They were the only game in town in the Western Ma. Since then, they have slowly declined in quality of product and service. I would see obviously new patients who were bewildered by the choices and no one offering to help. I actually sat with a few to help. When they started the option to order ahead and pick up, I utilized that. I ordered 1:1 5 mg gummies and when I got them home and opened the bag, discovered they were a 4 mg and no one told me this at time of pick up. When I called, they made no apologies but told me to try taking a little more and that they knew that the dose was lower so they tossed in a few more gummies. This is my medicine which works at that dose. If CVS decided to dispense pills at a lower strength and said to figure out what works and that they gave me a few more pills, that would be ridiculous.AT the least, they should have informed me and I would have the choice to buy them or not. They charged me the same price. I hadn’t been back since they opened recreationally til yesterday. Both ends of the access road were blocked off and I was told to find a spot on the road, the nearest spot was about 3 blocks away.Being a medical patient meant nothing. I will not be back. They are not the only game in town and there are other dispensaries that still care about their patients. Never going again!

    I bought two bottles of tincture 10 milliliters each supposed to be over 400 drops each, when I got home I find out was not even 50 drops per bottle. They sell the bottle unsealed….?,the bottle are very dark you cannot see how much it’s in the bottle. I tried to call them when they heard the story they don’t want to pick up my phone anymore

    The dispensary is really a great place! The staff are so into their jobs (who wouldn’t be working here?!) Very helpful and informative, always able to give good accurate recommendations. The bud is expensive, but you have to consider the quality, always tested and you know what you’re getting. I prefer to grow, but great place to get sativa which grows tall and has a long flowering time, neither have the space or time to grow it. They also carry great shatter for a decent price, something I will never make at home! The clientele are mostly really happy and talkative. Actually in todays world it’s the perfect place for a “stoner” like me, just wish they had a Smoke bar…

    Customer service is becoming a lost art. I shouldn’t have to tell you I need paperwork as a new patient and I shouldn’t have to practically beg for my discounts. Also someone was picking me up and they were told to wait in the parking lot at the hotel as I waited outside for over an hour. I asked the cop and they had no clue. An hour later I asked another cop and they finally told me where he was. Never coming back.

    Ok I am 64 and I have not bought pot for over 30 years! WOW this is what it is supposed to be like. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. The young woman at the front desk was incredible. Such energy and attention detail. My budtender was great. I ended up buying a gram of 7 different strains, a pre roll and an edible. They gave me a $49 discount, without me even needing to bring it up, because I was a first time patron.

    The pricing structure seemed fair.

    At first I was turned off by their highly manicured buds but once I saw up close I realized this meant much less stem. YEAH!!

    Great experience. I wonder if the hostess would like to have dinner with an older man? Hmmmm?

    Neta replyed back with this: “Our team takes great care to ensure that all flower is carefully dried and cured as best as possible for each batch. This is usually about 10-14 days for dry time, then 7-14 days for cure time, depending on the batch. The majority of our patients prefer flower that has not been overdried and we use Boveda packs to prevent this after cure is finished.” Their dry time is Good 10-14 days but you need to cure bud for atleast 5 months. The bud will not become any dryer then what Neta offers now, but instead the process of the water being pulled from the buds is at a much slow rate and is overall big factor with smoothness and tast of the marijuana. If you speed this process up you will lock in chlorophyll pigments making all the weed tast the same&bad and harsh on the lungs. Marijuana is like wine, if it take 20years for the wine to be ready then it takes 20years not a day shorter or your being sold a wine that’s not ready. newb then u’l never notice this issue and that is wrong of neta. They speed the entire process up if the growing to get the marijuana out fast ( u’l never get big fat nug from them)! I don’t see how testing the product could cost so much and still call it competitive price and good explanation. Okay, the concentrates are bomb because you don’t need to cure concentrates ( some of the best shatter is made from fresh trimmings)aEUR. You do not need to cure marijuana when makeing concentrates with butane because chlorophyll is a polar bond & butane is a non-polar bond so the extract of concentrates has no chlorophyll.

    I went to my first dispensary ever two weeks ago. I chose NeTA because of the reviews and it was the closest location. I was nervous the entire hour drive down there and upon arrival this feeling increased, partially because of all the cars in the parking lot and the half dozen people standing out front of the building. It was a little intimidating. One person is admitted through the door at a time which probably adds to the “crowd” outside and I felt a bit better about that once I saw the sign. I had no clue about the security measures to get inside but once I was “in” the staff were beyond helpful,knowledgeable, and kind. It made me feel confident in my initial purchase and eased my anxiety about “not being the type” who would get marijuana. I smoked in college but never really liked it (always got too anxious/paranoid) and was steered towards products that wouldn’t promote anxiety. My general anxiety that manifests into anger has been better since and I’ve slept the best I have in years! I’d have given 5 stars if the initial arrival wasn’t so intimidating (knowledge about the security checks on the website woulda been nice to add ) and the flowers I got were drier than I had expected. I don’t know if that is strain specific or not but I’m “used to” seeing or having had sticky flowers in the past. The effects of the strains I got ( AC/DC, grape stomper, master just and some 2mg gems) have been fantastic.

    personally I feel their products are waaay low… price is ridiculous, your paying extra $$$ to compensate for all the artsy design.

    I would not send a friend there, or suggest a patient to them. Yeah staff are friendly, but
    that’s cause your paying too much $$$ so why wouldn’t you be nice to patients who pay your bills/paycheck? not 100% satisfied in general.

    I went to this location on Tuesday, May 24th and this is the first time I’ve been to this location. I had an awesome experience. I got there at about 9:45. there were 6 people already there so I was number 7. At 10:00 the guy came out and asked for the first 5 patients. I wasn’t surprised to see that everyone there knew exactly what number and what place they were in line. I waited another 5 minutes and was called in. I showed my ID card and license. after a very short confirmation process I went in. the interior was very nice and clean. well lit and I felt a sense of security. I did not wait in line at all and was called right up to the counter. I dealt with Lee and found him to be very knowledgeable and patient as this was my first time visit. Lee helped me pick out a little of everything and freely explained the benefits of each product. I got 2 kinds of flower, wishing well tincture, and some kief. All products were excellent quality I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back.

    I am a new medical marijuana patient being treated for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. On my first trip to NETA upon entering a nice young woman came to sit with me and discuss any of my questions or concerns. It is a very comfortable and welcoming environment even for new users. The purchase process is clear and easy. Everyone was extremely patient and kind. The product itself has been excellent. I’ve been back once more and will be making another trip soon. The edibles are excellent. I used to have chronic pain, nausea and insomnia – now I am able to relieve pain and nausea with ease and I sleep every night. This plant is a gift to those who are suffering, this dispensary treats it as such. I have already and will continue to recommend NETA as a reliable, comfortable dispensary for medical marijuana needs.

    I’ve only been to 3 dispensaries, but this one is the best one I’ve been to, it’s always my first choice now. The staff there are very nice and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I really love the quality of what I get here, I haven’t tried their shatter or wax yet, but their other products never disappoint and usually end up testing higher than advertised. I love that they’re open 7 days a week too and take walk ins. they’re always adding new stuff to their menu, and the prices really aren’t bad. love this place!

    I go to neta few times a week I live very close haha either way they are good and granted its hit and miss at times but last few weeks they have been getting there and also people have to understand the reason they would run out at times of the “better” strains it’s cuz the clones have not caught up like the guy said few comments down only been open for a few months but I feel the future is very bright and give them a year then give your honest opinion I feel whoever may be knocking them atm won’t be down the road

    My problem is how small the buds are. Im not sure if they are using all the big buds on edibles or not but they are definitely not selling them like they did when they first opened. In my opinion it appears to be a lot of the popcorn buds that are being sold as flower. ATG in Salem ONLY gives you healthy big buds. Maybe thats why they aren’t selling edibles yet. Either way it is disappointing. What they are scraping out of those bins should NOT be sold at full price but it is. Wake up everyone… Are the buds your taking home looking like the buds on display???? Nooo

    I visited NETA for the first time recently. I’m 67, getting by on social security, but not much more than that. I have decades of experience as both a consumer and grower, and consider myself to be fairly savvy on the subject of cannabis.
    Here are my impressions:
    Nice atmosphere/design, friendly staff. The bud tender I purchased from was knowledgeable up to a point. She really couldn’t tell me much more about the strains than I was able to learn from the menu. Didn’t know anything about the genetics of them, other than indica, sativa, hybrid. I wanted to get something to help with back pain and when I asked what would be good for that, (on that day, it didn’t seem like much on the menu addressed that) her answer was something like – Well, you could try a combination of things and see how it works. Unfortunately, I don’t have the means to do that. Plus it seems too much like throwing a dart and seeing what it hits. I was hoping for more informed help. She could tell me nothing about THC-CBD ratios or what I should look for, in terms of constituent %s, that would be a good fit for my pain.
    Perhaps the industry is too new, not enough research, etc., but given the wealth of experience in CA, plus all the info available online, I was underwhelmed by the quality of help I received. I expect more from my pharmacist.
    As to the strains…I tried Domnesia and Flo OG. The former was as advertised, the OG just ok. I didn’t find pain relief from either one. At home, I tried to learn more about them, so I googled. Beyond knowing the genetics of a strain, It’s helpful to read about other people’s experiences, to help me judge whether it’s for me. I could find zero info (beyond NETA menu) about either one, which is strange. Yes, there’s thousands(?) of strains out there, but also volumes of information about them on sites like Leafly, 40 mag, various grow forums, seed banks, etc. Nothing on those 2 however. In Leafly, there’s a Damnesia, (only 1 letter off), but which apparently isn’t available in our area. Hmmm. Maybe the NETA strain namer mis-spelled? Same for the Flo OG – unknown. Are they NETA exclusive? If so, I’d think you’d tout that.
    I was also looking for more information about growing, as I would qualify financially, but the 2 staff I asked couldn’t help. Maybe MA DPH isn’t any better.
    I thought prices were comparable or a bit higher than street prices.
    Misc…It would be good to have a couple of buds from the joint strains that clients could see/smell. Given that the strains offered are always changing (or are they?), it might suck for someone who finds a strain that works for them to not be able to get it in the future. Maybe that’s the nature of this biz.

    I’m looking forward to November when recreational will almost certainly become legal in MA. It will be interesting to see how/if prices change and to have more choices out there.
    Oh, when I got home, I saw that I was due $2 back, from an ATM fee or something, but I never got it. Is it true that cannabis can cause short-term memory loss? 🙂

    Got in line Sunday morning, about an hour before opening. The line was shorter than we’d seen it. Very friendly people in line, the wait was no problem. Upon entering, I was very impressed with the overall look and professionalism. We were very quickly ushered to a cashier who patiently answered our many questions. Bought a vape and some edibles. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to coming back.

    I’ve been to NETA enough times now that I’ve tried a range of their products and strains. The quality of the customer service is superb, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Sometimes it gets busy, but it’s always worth the wait. So far I’ve tried several strains of flower, the dose bars and lozenges, and their shatter, and everything has exceeded my expectations. Yes, the flower is pricier, but I think it’s worth it for a superior product. Also, concentrate prices are pretty reasonable. Thanks NETA, I’ll be back.

    It all started with a phone call- Friday and the girl who answered the phone was sincere, informative and inviting. NETA was well worth the traffic laden ride from the Cape! It was a very long, painful ride ( thank god I had a ride) greeted by superior staff- from Cam at the front door to personally show around, the steps and finally being educated on everything that the menu offers and what would be a good fit for me! So inviting and professional. I feel as if I was lead in the right direction for sure. Ate 1/3 of those “nuggets” before we even got down the block. The ride home was much more tolerable, did not get car sick. Felt conversive and mellow! As soon as I got home tried Walker Kush, AMAZING! I finally slept after a few hours for 4 hours of the best sleep. The entire staff was helpful and it really was hands down worth knowing it. Bought from a caregiver and could eat 6-7 hard candies in a day and get mellow but nothing like this experience.
    Did I mention the beautiful man helping me- oh to be young againa~oi,. Thank you….I was losing hope and really being over come by pain and depression, today I feel like maybe I can survive? Thank you!!

    I’ve been twice so far for recreational. Ordered ahead with Neta Express both times. I’ve yet to hit the 10 minute mark in and out. Reserve ahead and go on a weekday if you can. Unless you have to ask a bunch of questions reserve ahead is a no brainer. I parked right across the street from the parking lot opposite the portable toilets. My only regret is I live 2 hours away and can only get 3 grams of the flo og at a time. Love that master kush too! I also know my weight was right. Not shorted. I see some pretty angry reviews from medical people. Get a life, most are full of bs anyway. Don’t be mad if you have to share a little.

    What a very dumb idea to sell both medical and recreational cannabis @ the same place. Why not have a place just for medical and a place for just recreational? Or at least sell them in a completely different section of the building. Yes I get that there are separate lines and everything, but being in the same exact room with a TON of people is very anxiety stricken and now makes going to get my medicine a very unpleasant experience, I guess from now on I will only be visiting a dispensary that is strictly medical only.

    I have dealt with NETA for several months now. I mostly have mostly dealt with a man who has a biblical name (claims to be a trainee but seems quite seasoned) and someone named Lee. I think BOTH times I have spoken with either one of them I have been educated in terms I can understand and relate to. My symptoms are severe and my condition is serious. It’s nice to see a focus by NETA on education of specific relief. Truly the best dispensary in the Northeast!

    I have been to various dispensaries in Mass, but NETA is by far the best all-around. The first time I went, I was approached my a patient advocate and I accepted her help. She went through every product and helped me decided which ones would suit my medical needs. I purchased two kinds of flower and one vape pen. The quality of the bud was excellent, and the different strains were true to their description. I have visited NETA at least six times now, and every experience has been pleasant, and the people who work there are also extremely friendly. They also have a great first time patient deal ($200!), along with other great sales. The last time I went, the place was packed, and it held up the process… I had to wait about 10 min for my product. But it’s worth it!!!!! (and really, 10 min is nothing, all things considered).

    The flower was scraggly fluff buds with tons of chaff some was over dry the limited strains they had all smelled and pretty much looked the same , the “fresh batch” that was brought to the floor as I was being served had an air of freshly mowed lawn or wet heigh. I purchased a rempen and am not disappointed with that, however there is definitely something off with the 10mg thc capsules I took 2 waited two hours took another two waited an hour and ended up taking a fifth and still had no noticeable affect. Overall quite disappointed with neta

    very nice building and staff. I’ve gone a handful of times and the product has only gotten better. So far I found Walker Kush to really be consistent and Jack Frost I just tried and it’s a great Sativa which is normally what I tend to like. Walker Kush has been the best Indica I’ve had. NETA will be my go to. Might visit the Brookline building soon the Northampton one is 20 mins from me.

    Going to keep it real. Its cool NETA is around but they are leagues behind the revolution. I bought shatter yesterday. Although the shatter was clean, it did not have that great taste I get from Cali or Seattle. NETA claims to be medicinal, but there cannabis is grown hydroponic and not organic. You can taste the hydro in the shatter. The rem cartridges all taste the same. The flower taste is lost in what they use to extract the oil. On top of this the grams are $60!!!! Ill pay that for top shelf organic shatter, but not his mid grade stuff. Not even sure if the shatter is nug-run, prob a mix-run. All and all good for an emergency:)

    This is the first dispensary I’ve ever gone to, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t feel pressured or confused, and staff were more than happy to talk to me about my options. I even had a couple of snafus in payment and wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable or awkward any more than I would have at a “regular” store.

    MEDICAL Patients beware. They’re off the tracks here folks. Definitely not saving their inventory for medical patients as promised and it’s not fair to those whom rely on specific items. It’s a shame honestly. Before the started selling to Adult Use customers, they used to offer advise, or opinions but now it’s like they’re just robots bagging up products and collecting money. Sad to see they’ve sold out to a bigger nationally recognized company as well. The service is only going down from here and it bums me and a lot of other people out!

I also got “the last” of one batch of CBD weed only to have them open the next batch – which tested with 2x more cbd. What!? I’ll be visiting somewhere else until they can stabilize their flower.

    I haven’t had a bad experience here. The people that work at this location are all really nice and knowledgeable. I don’t understand how people can complain about the quality, I have had nothing but great quality bud from NETA. Also, the price complaints? Get a vaporizer folks, you’ll need less bud for the same results. My only complaints are the parking (not much of it) and the wait times can be long (not really NETA’s fault). Also, when they first opened they were carrying Durban Poison regularly but now it’s almost never on the menu, it’s just kind of a tease to me because I love the strain!

    Five stars across the board for this dispensary as a first-time patient I was very nervous but everyone who came in contact with me from start to finish was kind and genuinely passionate about what they do. It is the closest dispensary to me so far and even if other dispensaries open closer to me I will still come to NETA. The marijuana itself is really top shelf and very consistent. The staff is by far the greatest part of NETA… they are knowledgeable kind and always willing to give you their time even though the dispensary is super busy and serves 80% of Massachusetts.

He has the best energy, he’s kind, compassionate and very empathetic. I had just barely missed the boat on a discount that I badly needed in order to get my medication needs filled and Dan helped me out and gave me the discount! If that wasn’t enough, I killed the car battery by leaving my lights on and Dan came out, got his car and drove it to mine and gave me a jump start. And there was freezing rain pouring down on him!     I highly enjoy being able to make the choice of counter service where I can talk and discuss with like minded well trained individuals, or have a seat and relax while my medications are taken care of for me.

    My only request would be PACKS of pre-rolleds. Currently a patient pays $8.00 for one mini pre rolled. A PACK of six mini pre rolleds at a discount price of $40.00 would be greatly appreciated and appealing to those of us that don’t perfer to smoke bud flower. Bud flower prices have better deals the more quantity one purchases. I feel the same option should be given to the pre rolled options as well.

    I will say I’m thankful they’re here. We have no other option in western mass. Great staff and location. Bud is okay all around. I much prefer soil grown and it tends to work better for my ailments than hydro but I understand why they grow it this way but maybe another option for soil grown would be great. The prices are not good. They should scale with quantity. Street prices are so much better. It just sucks that this is really medicine for me and I can barely afford it. As for the shatter it’s okay. Very affective for me if I want to go to sleep but I don’t have a problem with that usually. I don’t get the same medical benefits I do with straight bud. I suspect they are losing terpenes during the extraction. They modulate the high. The flavor really isn’t there and there is a lot of residue leftover after the dab. Just giving my professional opinion. I’m hoping with the near monopoly these guys are going to have on weed with legal rec first that they’ll do good for their patients and maybe offer some sales or something. 3 weeks I have gone to find their cultivars offering no higher than 16% thc yet costs the same as much higher ones.

Sometimes you don’t have to wait but right after 5pm is a busy time. I had my vape pen break and live an hour away so I called and they overnighted me a new one for free. No complaints here.

    This was stop #6 of the Original 8 tour and my second NETA location. It re-affirms my belief that NETA is the state-wide leader in the early stages of Massachusetts’ medicinal (and soon recreational) marijuana business.
    This is a buttoned up operation, plenty of staff, organized set up and quality product.
    Easy access off Route 91 with ample parking and a very chill space that includes showroom for vaping products from entry-level to expert user.
    The one bummer is that NETA has had to institute a 1/4 oz flower limit for the time being. (As of 11/12-16) Seems demand is outpacing supply!! No surprise there.
    Still, good strain diversity across platforms (bud, vape, shatter, edibles, kief, etc) and super helpful budtenders. Kate and Hannah helped me and both were phenomenal – friendly, informed and patient.
    Be sure to ask for shake discounts – great for home rolling, dugouts and other old school methods!!

    All products sold at this dispensary are of average quality.

    Flower is always small buds (baby buds)Pretty strange, not what you would expect from a premium quality dispensary.

    I was told that they do that on purpose to spare customers stem, these aren’t peeled colas but just small buds from weak grows.

    Flower is also pretty chemey. Although well flushed it seems like nothing special 3 part G.H.most likely. Definitely NOT ORGANIC (organic pesticides don’t count) and it definitely shows.

    Most varieties grown are Rare Darkness seeds, don’t get me wrong a great seed co. But there are many other banks that could be used to mix things up.

    Flowers are very plan Jane in taste, smell, texture aroma and after smell.

    Staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable about anything other than the price. They try to fake it but after about 5 min. Its pretty obvious they have no idea what there talking about.

    This dispensary although new is about 10 years behind most dispensaries in Eugene Oregon or anywhere else on the west coast. Junior Varsity for sure.

    Perfection today!!! Now this is what medical marijuana is about & up to par with the greens I’m used to. The gorilla glue will put you on your ass & is great! They should keep as staple option.. Excellent crystallization on outside and in.

    Staff was incredibly friendly today and I even had chance to speak with the manager who also was really awesome and willing to hear my suggestions for changes etc lol but was very receptive. Saw my bud tender on way out who is great guy. All around excellent visit 🙂

Please fix your system! Some of us are not euphoric about being able to get high legallyaEUR”for some of us this is a serious health matter. You are not doing a good job taking care of your patients which is what we were worried about when your greed made sales more important than the service to your patients.

    Best feature : live menu posted nightly. It is nice to know exactly what is available and to be able to plan ahead, especially when travelling from quite some distance away. HOWEVER, the advertised prices (esp on edibles) are not always the same as the actual in-store prices, but they’re usually LOWER in the store so that’s not really a problem, just something to improve upon.
    Flower : no complaints, weights are pretty accurate, quality has been good
    Pre-rolls : Also good, just wish they had more variety available at any given time
    Edibles : totally worthless, I have tried taking 2-3 pieces at once of the chocolate, the gems, and the lumens and have not gotten even a tiny bit of a buzz from any of them. Plus one of my bottles of lumens was ALREADY OPENED and only contained 18 pieces instead of the advertised 20. They are all an absolute rip-off and I will not be buying them again.

    Love this place.. I drove about an hour and it was an easy ride up. Parking right at the building. I guess I was luck about 5 people in front of me . The selection was excellent. People very informative and friendly. Love love the smell when you walk thur the door. YUMMY!!!! I wish there was gummy edibles none available unless you have a medical marijuana card. I don’t understand that part? I live near cultivate horrible place… Next time I go I’ll try the oils… and spend some time in town. Worth the travel..

    Historic! Drove past the first day they opened for adult use and kept on going lol!! At 7:30am lines were around the block..
    So waited a week, put in an express pickup order, easy!! Bypassed over 100 people waiting in line outside, walked right in…great store, incredible people who work there! Have been back a few times, and I cannot day enough good things about the way this place is ran. Top notch!!
    Of course being one of 2 stores currently open, the prices are a bit high however the quality is fantastic! Have samples GTH, Hack frost and Flo flowers. Very smooth, obviously well cared for medicine. Top notch in flavors and effects. Have also tried some cartridges and nice as well.

I honestly felt like I was waiting at a consession at Disney, real talk. overly polite which is nice for a change. when you walk Into a establishment and every single person in the building has a smile from ear to ear that general sense of well being sets in and it’s great. having suffering from high anxiety while trying to ween off of my meds;I couldn’t have asked for anything else.i forget the bud tenders name I delta with…wonder why….lol but overly helpful. I do see the small popcorn bud flower issue everyone talks about. I am not sure what to think of that. maybe one day will get that answer lol but overall Neta. in short. Dope.

    I got the GSC because it had been so effective the last 2x. The pain gone for hours. What I got yesterday was supposed to be the same strain, with even a higher % of potency, yet it does absolutely nothing. This has happened to me before with NETA”s potency labeling being unreliable. This time it’s proof positive since I got the exact same strain, and it was even marked higher potency!! I feel I have been sold a bill of goods, and would like to know what NETA is prepared to do about it?

    Neta was the only place I went. The people who work there are great, knowledgeable,patient and caring and very helpful. The problem,like a lot of patients I am on a fixed income even with 10% off and no tax they are out of my price line. Although their products are of better quality than Insa in Easthampton at least Insa has sales every week, patient appreciation days all the time, and have great deals. NETA think more about your medical patients than your wallets. You will do much better. Wait till GTI in Holyoke opens you will be forced to be more competitively priced, maybe Ill be able to afford to shop with you again.

    I have been three times so far, and have not yet been disappointed. The quality of the marijuana and other products is superb, the friendliness and helpfulness and the “I don’t know but I’ll find out” is amazing, and the place is welcoming.

    I have tried a variety of flower, the wax, edibles, and even the lotion and all was wonderful though the lotion wasn’t what I expected for pain relief, but it did seem to help. My only one complaint is the lack of CBD flower, due to them waiting on the flower to be ready. Their Chem Dawg seems the highest at 0.28% CBD and the newer 50mg indica edibles have decent amounts of CBD, 10mg, with 37mg of THC.

    Overall I couldn’t be much happier, they’ve done a great job in every way.

    While product is very good, and customer service is as well, this place has had a big problem with their computers since day one. Its a hit or miss proposition. For example, i was e-mailed an update when NETA supposedly went unlimited( up to state 1 ounce limit), and the website clearly states you can now purchase up to 1 ounce, the software will not allow that to happen and keeps saying that you have exceeded the 3.5 gram limit.After speaking on the phone directly to NETA, i was told the old limits are still in place, and they were unaware of this..Confusing to say the least. They need better IT people,and better communication from above, i should think!

    I visited NETA for the first time yesterday and it was an amazing experience. From start to finish, all the staff members were polite, engaging, and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Security was very professional and kind. No metal detectors or pat-downs. I was in-and-out of NETA in about 15 minutes, as a first-time customer, so the efficiency of the place is outstanding. (I did pre-fill the paperwork ahead of time.) Picked up three strains: Anmesia Haze, Grape Trainwreck, and Walker Kush as well as a few edibles. Flower is great, better than ~90% of what’s around on the street. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

    I drove up from Connecticut to visit NETA a few times now since they began Adult Use sales and I’ve not been disappointed yet. The reserve ahead function works perfectly in my experience. The longest I’ve waited for the ready to pickup email was about 45 minutes but that was only a week or two after they initiated Adult Use. As of late it’s usually only 5 or 10 minutes tops. Either way it’s an hour and 30 minute ride for me so I just place the order before I leave. Flower has been top notch for me as well! Nicely trimmed and securely packaged with strain info right on the label! They also sell an awesome UV glass stash jar that’s holds up to a quarter ounce for only $5. Nice variety of strains available so there’s something for everyone! I also enjoyed both the Apex and RemPen cartridges. RemPens are available in different strengths and strains which is very convenient for me as I like to have a more mellow Sativa for daytime use to help with anxiety and stress but a heavy hitting indica for bedtime. Customer service was great and when ordering ahead I’ve never waited in line for more than 10 minutes! Store is very clean and well organized it was just a great experience all around IMO.

    We placed our order online and received an email notification within minutes that our order was ready for pickup. When we arrived there was a line of at least 70 or so people in queue. We were able to go to the online pickup line and waited less than 5 minutes outside and about 1 minute inside and we were out the door. Product was great we bought GG#4 it is outstanding. We also purchased Sweet Tooth, which we haven’t had time to try yet.
    I hope they decide to carry G13 Hashplant, which is our favorite. Overall a great experience and the staff were outstanding. The no wait in line made the 1 1/2 hour ride worth it. We have spent more time in line at other MA recreational spots than what it took to drive here and get back home.

    great place lots of great (flower) meds just very little selection of edibles and concentrates. Other then that the places is 10/10 but if your looking for something other then flower good luck. Also rem pens pretty sure use glycerin which give’s off formaldehyde. I can not confirm nor deny they use glycerin at neta but if they do it give’s off formaldehyde. Look it up your selves on your own time dont take my word for it. If they do use glycerin i would not consider that med’s. sorry not to sound like i hate the place cuz i just want them to give out good quality meds. that why they let us make review’s on leafly so we can give are honest opinion on are experience. so they can improve sorry if you though this was to straight forward just stating my opinion.

    4 visits so far. Its not a hole in the wall which I expected. Clean and fancy. The quality is good for what they have, but the really good stuff goes fast. I need sativas and high CBD for my pain but keep getting there too late. Really friendly staff and they seem to know a lot. But, they are all young and white. There was one older lady that waited on me the first time. She was really nice and helped me feel calmer. But she’s not there all the time. It can get crowded and loud in line which doesn’t help my migraines. Anyway, its a good place–just overwhelming for us seniors.

    Have been going here since day one of rec use. Very friendly staff. They have had limits on the amount you can get. Which is understandable so everyone can get some. Never been a vape person. Was worried about less then great quality from the street. Got my first cartridge opening day. I am a huge fan. There chocolate bar tastes great also.

    The reason i am writing this review happened last week. I order a 1000mg cartridge of cherrie pie. When i opened it up it was a little sticky. Fine thought that was just a packaging flaw. Turned it on and couldnt get a good pull. After a minute you got a pull but some oil would come out. Over a few days almost half the oil had leaked out.i wrote a email not really expecting much. They got back to me within 12 hours and said if it was malfunctioning to bring it back to exchange it. I was floored. I returned it today and am a very happy customer. In business things go wrong it is how it is handled that matters. Great job NETA

    Very nice shop, I visited the Northampton location. Definitely a plus that you guys do that new patient/renewal deal, that’s great for sure. Flowers are good, the quality is very consistent. My only gripe about the flowers is that they are usually too dry, and I have to add some moisture back. (Oh well, not a big deal) The shatter and wax are decent but I’ve had waaay better. Not even flavor in the shatter. The kief is very good. The Apex distillate carts are absolutely absurdly priced. $70 for a half gram cartridge? C’mon NETA, you can do better. They should be around $40 for 500ml and like $70-75 tops for the 1000ml. I can’t believe patients have no problem paying those prices!!!!!! Friendly staff, some are more knowledgeable than others. Will go back

    Today was my first visit to NETA and it was an all around good experience. I waited for a bit in line after being greeted by super nice people. I chose some Grape Stomper and Hurricane. Quality is generally nice, above average buds but they are quite small (just a preference thing) and not as pungent as the buds I’m used to. It’s definitely a nice place though and I have faith the product will continue to improve over time. Also I was not mad at the prices! The first-time discount is fantastic.

    They were my go-to for a long time. I started using another dispensary when they shifted focus away from their flower menu. They used to have a whole page of stellar quality strands and then over time it dwindled greatly.

    They also used to run better holiday sales, or general sales. But I noticed over time that became less and less frequent. I am all for supporting small business but a break once in awhile was nice.

    Quality of product is always good. Pricing could be better. Staff is great, friendly, and knowledgeable.

    I have to take issue with those posting that NETA is sub par in any way. I have been there since day 2 and knowledgeable, as I have been using these products for 50 years. At the beginning, some of the previous poster’s issues may have been valid but for the past several months the quality has improved that I am shopping there again – their flowers are good, some potent, their variety of useful strains ever increasing, they have finally arrived at having good product that we know the names of. Their shatter is clear, clean and the best in the state. I use it and I’m particular. The staff and management are THE BEST – it is no joke that they try their best for us very day, degrees of knowledge notwithstanding. And remember, for us that need, want, are in a hurry, in pain, sometimes with little patience because of it all – they have what we need and want and sometimes it’s hard to please everyone at the same time, product is limited and patients are many, so they sometimes put limits on how much you can buy. But it’s not for them it’s for us, they deserve our support! They are the best in the state and getting better. Staff and management really care, believe it. Good place, good people.

    The products they sell are top notch. So overall, you can’t go wrong getting marijuana from them.

    The wait in line was more than an hour during the middle of the day on a Friday, which isn’t anyone’s fault, since the demand is so high and they are working as fast as they can. But it’s cold up there in the winter, so dress warmly. I’d hate to show up on a weekend day.

    One problematic issue is that they are overcharging for their product and obviously turning a huge profit doing so. When you do finally manage to get inside after waiting forever in line, you’ll notice how slick everything is, how nicely the store is designed, and you know the owner is living on easy street. A lot of money went into the design. Also, the packaging for much of the merchandise is unnecessarily fancy; again, there’s no need to make shiny boxes and containers with pretty logos. Just package good product and lower the prices some. We The prices are outrageous.

    The second problem is with parking. It’s almost impossible to park anywhere near the dispensary. NETA made a huge mistake in opening the business in the location they did. It backs up traffic, it bothers neighbors, it requires cops to block streets and stand around all day (soaking up taxpayer money, probably causing the price of the product to be raised to pay for the cops), it makes trying to find a place to park a nightmare. I drove all the way up from NJ (where Big Brother still demonizes weed as if it’s a nuclear weapon) and after a five-hour drive did not appreciate having to circle the block numerous times and then finally park next to a sign that said “Please don’t park here unless you’re a resident,” simply because I couldn’t find anywhere else within a mile to park.

    In a nutshell: They sell fantastic product, they overcharge like you wouldn’t believe, it’s in a horrible location, and the wait is outrageous. But if you’re like me and can’t find good weed anywhere else, then just grin and bear it, because the merchandise is worth it.

    This place is absolutely superb. Today was my first visit and I am newly registered, the staff are easily the nicest people I’ve encountered in Massachusetts. Everyone loves their job and takes it seriously, which quickly put me at ease. Both the greeter Michaela and the woman Kate who assisted me were gracious, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to see me. Kate was very happy to walk me through all the information regarding medicine and treatment, which was great. They have a large selection and variety of products, and an extremely warm and welcoming environment. I can’t wait for the Brookline location to open!

    Good at first for rec then… mid shelf cannabis at to shelf prices. At first they were nice to rec users but then they just turned sour towards us.. they cancel your order or change it without informing you.. They act as if they are doing you a favor by selling their over priced dried out dusty weed and try to push their wanted cbd stuff on you.. They can keep it.. Insa in Easthampton is so much better treating recreational users with respect and compassion unlike Neta still treating recreational users as if we are criminals with hostile customer service.. horrible and shame on Neta!!

    I think that NETA does an amazing job with their service. The clerks are all knowledgeable and have a ton of patience! The environment is warm, inviting and comfortable unlike the other in-state dispensaries. However, their flower is very low THC and very, very brittle. They do have high CBD strains which is good, but if you really want the THC to help with depression, look elsewhere.

    I HIGHly recommend visiting this place. Absolutely gorgeous inside, good product variety, the nicest employees ever, honestly it’s incredible. I picked up 3 grams of varying strains and got a 1:1 THC:CBD chocolate bar. I do really appreciate the variety of products that are 1:1 THC:CBD as that was a big factor in going. Online ordering is also the way to go, there were some glitches that I experienced but if you email them they’ll be able to help resolve the issues (it seems like these issues cleared up later in the day, I submitted my order at like 9:30am). If I had one suggestion though it would be to have some flower that was high CBD low THC or at least closer to a 1:1 ratio. At my time of purchase all the flower was high TCH and low to almost non-existent CBD. Hopefully the next time I’m ready to restock they’ll have some flower like that.

    I just love going to NETA Northampton for my meds. Super convenient location for one thing, with plenty of parking. But more than that, the staff is friendly and knowledgable, the product is quality and varies day to day, and the facility is spotless. The place feels quite secure without being over the top on “security” if you know what I mean.

    Since MA is still new to the medical scene, I expect all the dispensaries are on a learning curve and NETA of course is as well. Their inventory is relatively limited choice-wise, but they have a decent variety. For me, quality is more important than quantity and they got that right. One of these days I will get in there when they have bubble hash!

    NETA handles this relatively new business scene with aplomb. Bravo, NETA, you have earned a loyal patient here. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see how you evolve with the industry!

    WOW! So worth the trip! I traveled nearly 2 hours to “In Good Health” in Brockton only to find a closed sign. ARGH! They advertised being open ’til 3:00pm then ignorantly closed at 1:00. As I was letting off steam, more potential shoppers pulled in behind me. Thankfully, this very sweet and helpful woman gave me the name and number to NETA! (really wish I got her name and hope to run into her again so I can give her a big hug!) Talk about a blessing in disguise!Luckily for me, my nephew was up for the ride and off to N. Hampton we went (we’re from Cape Ann). Nearly 3 hours later, I arrived at the happiest place in MA. Spacious, relaxing atmosphere with display cases full of most of what us patients need. The staff was as knowledgeable as they were friendly. Fresh, modern, eco-friendly environment with very comfortable lounge areas. The menu was what I have been expecting and waiting for. FINALLY!! For those of us that are truly in it for the medicinal components, you need to go there. I am on a lot of meds and need a company I can rely on to provide me with the medications I need as my doctors/psychiatrist wean me off of meds. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the topicals, BUT they had edibles, oils, wax (another learning experience) and many flowers to chose from. No limited quantity. Excellent quality! (Dry but nothing a small piece of orange peel can’t fix). Kate was so patient answering my questions and helping me to chose which form of THC/CBD, etc. that best fit my mental and physical needs from morning ’til bedtime. I was in a lot of pain by the time I got home. (I have a spinal injury from an auto accident and having been living with depression and anxiety my whole life.) It was a very long day and an adventurous ride, to say the least. But at the end of the day, I enjoyed sampling my purchases and went to bed with no pain and slept for a solid 7 hours. YEAH! The cindy dom and wax (moonshine haze) combo is what finally eliminated the last of my pain and put me in dream land! Thanks for the tip, Kate!
    Even with the distance, I will happily travel to the other side of the state again. Fall is the best time of year to take a road trip in New England.     Parking is an issue, and so is selection, but keep in mind that legal vending is in its infancy for Massachusetts. The quarters are nice, and the staff is helpful. In a few years I think parking and store congestion will cease being an issue. The wait is worth it, to me.

    It’s location for the extreme volume this landmark has done is excellent with 91 n&s within a stones throw ; ) and staff has always been upbeat and eager to assist. Having been to only this dispensary exclusively a dozen or so times, I think they’ve put the bar pretty high ; ) The wait times are getting so much better and will be nonexistent I’d imagine once more stores are up and running. Price for an aEURoeadult useraEUR is a bit much with the Massachusetts Marijuana taxes @20% but I tell you what, you absolutely get what you pay for at NETA, products are amazing and online menu and pre-order have functioned very well for me.

    A clean, beautiful, calm place, with good security. The staff were universally compassionate and helpful. The setting included a table with a bowl of apples to munch while perusing the detailed menu. Fellow patients were courteous and patient during a busy time. At my first visit, I was moved to tears by the opportunity NETA and the MMJ program gives us in Massachusetts for access to medicine. Well done, NETA.

    I have been to this location six times since December and I have not been disappointed yet. The quality of their flower and their edibles and vape pens is second to none in this state. Their staff is always well-informed, friendly and respectful. Their only problem is really the amount of demand that they have and the problem of keeping stock on the shelf. With the amount of demand that they have their menu changes a few times a day. That demand isn’t for nothing though.

    Very friendly, clean and professional. Great service and employees.

    Flower selection is usually slim if you’re looking for higher-end “cannaseur” strains, with most they carry usually only being around 13-18% TAC. Concentrates usually average 85-88%.

    The menu is otherwise pretty large with some variety in the novelty areas (edibles tinctures lotions etc)
    There’s a little weekly menu variety, but you have to get there early as they usually sell out of the really good stuff once they have it.

    Definitely pricy but you can’t really argue since they are the only dispensary around for about an hour and a half. Overall not a bad location per se, but for the high-tolerance user you’ll save a bit of money and find more interesting buds/dabs “around” western MA if you look.

    NETA has excellent quality products, having tried their edibles, flower, and shatter, and a knowledgeable staff that constantly gives off good vibes and seems to enjoy a good conversation without being pushy or annoying.

    The flower is top notch. It really does not get better. Of course some strains are not that strong, but really that’s a good thing, as bigger variety means more patients’ needs are met. That said, pretty much every day they have at least one strain that batch tested at greater than or equal to 25% total active cannabinoids (TAC), often one pushing 30% or higher (the Bruce Banner seems to always push 35%, and my personal favorite, Flo OG, seems to always be above 30%). Marijuana really does not get more potent than this, East or West coast. That said, these super-potent batches usually seem to sell out before the end of the day, but from what I’ve heard they’re only going to be expanding their grow operation, so I think this will be getting better.

    Their shatter routinely clocks in at 90%, depending on the strain. A few days ago they had an indica-dom hybrid shatter that tested at 94.9% TAC. That’s the highest test result I’ve ever seen for shatter, notwithstanding people boasting (without proving) they can squeeze an extra couple percent out of there. Truthfully, most people’s shatter does not ever break 90%. Once you’re into that level, there’s no point knit-picking the difference of a few percentage points. It’s top-teir strong. Done.

    The visuals of the shatter vary with batch and strain, although the Arcata Trainwreck shatter I got a month ago or so was pure amber. Gorgeous. Best looking shatter I’ve ever seen in person and I’ve seen a lot. It was also some of the sweetest tasting vapor I’ve ever experienced, to the extent that the vapor can even be tasted. That said, the looks and taste are pretty irrelevant. There’s all kinds of reasons, as I understand it, that shatter can become darkened that have nothing to do with the quality or safety of the extraction.

    I really don’t care too much about commenting on the taste, size, or scent of the plants/nugs either, as these things have nothing to do with the quality of the psychoactive effects and are purely subjective. Some tokers may feel they have such superhuman perceptions of the taste of their incinerated plant matter and oils that they can sense differences between different people’s products on the molecular level before incinerating them, but let’s face it, even if that were true (it’s not), most of us do not have such rarefied senses, and nobody smokes weed for the taste anyway. Give me a break. Sorry-not-sorry to call out power trippers.

    Nevertheless, these weeds smell, look, and taste phenomenal to me. If I could I would post some HD photos to show you how dank these nugs are and how clear this shatter is. Most importantly, they will get high you AF. If they don’t, you and your wallet need to take time off from the holy ganja.

    99% of the time I smoke vapes and Apex is top notch! Smooth, no harsh throat hit and a nice clean high. I will admit Apex is a lot more expensive than buying cartridges black market but the quality is worth the money. I tried the Rempen and while it got me high, the harshness on the inhale was enough to ensure I’ll never buy rempen again. NETA and APEX have spoiled me and I will only be buying my cartridges at NETA moving forward!

    Great selection- multiple strains available for flower and vape. That’s aEURoeaEUR~my worldaEUR. I don’t know much about (right now) shatter, wax or edibles, etc.

    Convenient- about 1 mile off of exit 18 on I-91N. For me, I can get there in about the same time as it would to go to the Brookline location. While Brookline is about 1/2 the distance away, the traffic, parking and hassle of going there makes the ~70 mile drive well worth it. Plus I can hit the Easthampton Antonio’s on the way back.

    One tip- the APEX ONE vape pen is an all-in-one delivery vehicle. No charging needed. You get about 300mg of pure oil. No PG OR VG fillers. That in itself is a great value.

    Also, great discounts for new costumers. You can also order ahead via their website.

I seen boston had Platinum bubba kush plus gorilla glue4 in the last 3 weeks . been waiting to see then in northampton. Plus in boston there average the has been higher in the ,just look at walker kush . When will Northampton be getting some higher thc in the indica area ?

Very good selection and I like how they bring out a big tupperware of flower to let you smell and look at prior to purchase and they weigh it right in front of you. The flower is dry, though I don’t know really if that is good or bad. I also like how they don’t frisk you and make you go thru a metal detector (like In Good Health). Prices are similar to other and caregivers. I look forward to the Brookline location opening as it’s much closer. the $50 for $1 is a great deal.

    beat place ever they are friendly and helpful never longer then a half hour wait any time I have gone and that’s from start to finish. Tyler is an employee there who is really helpful and knowledgeable takes the time to help out and make sure you are getting the best for your personal needs and willing to go the extra to help answer any questions you may have. I have had Tyler help 4 times I have been there and would go back just for his knowledge.

    always seems to be busy. but i live in worcester and it’s not really worth it to drive all the way there when there’s a quarter-ounce per day limit. (though they just recently increased back to a half-ounce limit). but it’s a nice place, seems professional, nice people, i especially like being able to pick out smaller buds from a tupperware container and have it weighed accordingly – because of the smaller size of the sticks inside the smaller buds.

    Loved everything about the experience. The paperwork for first-time patients and the financial hardship discount was simple and only took 5 minutes to fill out. The bud tender, Alicia was sweet and helpful. I knew exactly what I wanted and she just filled my order without trying to get me to “at least look at and smell” something I didn’t ask for (pet peeve of mine). Happy with the quality of the flowers and the gummies. Definitely getting more edibles next time. Worth the hour plus trip out there.

    For the fourth time since becoming a patient, I have found seeds in my allegedly “unfertilized” flower. This time it was in a nug of GSC from batch #GSC-180319-142. It was purchased a while ago so it’s likely that this batch sold out already, but the growers should be aware. I have found MATURE seeds in nugs of Facewreck and Buddha’s sister in the past. I am so thankful that we have so many other options in our corner of western mass at this point because I feel cheated being asked to pay full-price for product they MUST know to be (and I’m being VERY generous with my words here) a little below optimal quality.

    I have been here twice now, and am blown away by the service and quality. Admittedly, it’s been 20 years since I was in the game, back in high school basically. Thanks to career planning and path- this was a part of my life I had to give up. Medical conditions having worsened to the point where it was chemical drugs or this; and I chose MMJ. My first visit there, Tyler spent as much time as I needed answering questions about strains and ways to medicate etc. My budtender, it was also his first day but I forget his name, was also as patient as necessary, happy to give opinions and advice as necessary. Even though it was a Friday night, I think start to finish I was out of there in about an hour or hour and a half. Most of that time was spent with Tyler. The next morning, Saturday, the menu had changed. Plus, some things I’d be interested in and had run out the night before were back in stock. This time I went in and did an express order. I think I was still in and out in less than half an hour. Overall, I’m impressed and happy. I’ll be happy when they offer more edibles and tinctures, but I know that takes time due to the way the laws are written in MA. Thanks guys!!

    Helpful and friendly, the budtenders seemed to have some basic knowledge of their product and its usage. The menu is basic but serviceable, the location and ambiance is excellent. The prices are beyond ridiculous and I spoke with one guy who was going back to buying on the street because it cost half as much and the product is just as potent. With all the talk in the media about rip off prices for medication, someone needs to address the fact that MM is also medication and there’s no good reason to fleece people for what helps them through the day. I’ve been to Colorado several times and price are literally half of what they are here. Time for Massachusetts to wake up.

    I’ve sampled and experienced prerolls, concentrates and flower from NETA first in Northampton, and then I tried Salem’s Alternative Therapies flower and their EXTREMELY limited selection of concentrate.

    I’m so glad my first MASS recreational buy was at NETA, not all dispensaries are created equal! I explained this multiple times today in line, and someone asked me to write a review of my experiences on Leafly. I loved my first NETA budtender and she basically set a high bar, she was originally from Colorado so it was easy to have a conversation versus someone pretending they know a product they are clueless about. I’ll drive hours to NETA for the 20% discount on bulk concentrate and the experience, assurance of quality.

    My next stop was Verilife in Wareham trying to find concentrate NETA does not carry for recreational including live resin, rosin and crumble. I’m posting a combo review here to help others decide where to drive, because many people are driving far distances not knowing exactly what to expect and may be looking for certain products, and I have some comparisons for three of the locations. Best place to order online and pick up the order with a line designated for ONLY reserved purchases is NETA. Really, the overall experience.

    I promise you will be disappointed if you have experienced other states’ recreational and medical dispensaries. NETA is the only dispensary that comes close here. #1 You feel safe, the police are extremely nice and help protect customers not only at dispensary but their is a distinct presence causing less anxiety. #2 Beautiful dispensary with amazing products and NETA’s marketing materials are stellar 3# Best budtenders and educational information, also best Website #4 If you do have a medical issue like epilepsy but can’t afford a medical card they still can educate you to make the right choice on your own, not medical advice just education #4 You’ll love visiting Northampton and the surrounding areas. The people waiting in line at NETA with me were lots elderly in wheelchairs and cancer patients that could not afford the cost of a WEED doctor or Wealthcare.

    However, the product is still extremely limited at ALL locations if you are looking for a medical solution without a medical card. They reserve high CBD products for medical because they limit products significantly and reserve the best deals and discounts for medical.

    Verilife is pretty awesome but WAY TOO SMALL, and they allowed news cameras to film inside which many people did not like at all. We did not sign releases or anything. PAX was doing a pretty sweet promo for opening day so if you purchased a PAX era cartridge they gave us an almost free PAX era vape for ONLY $1. They should have advertised this, the wait in line was shorter than all others, 2 hours with preorder for opening day because of the coordination between the police, parking and great shuttle. There were some drug addicts in line which was a little off putting, other locations did not allow intoxication on premises at all. Budtenders and staff at NETA are very well trained, and unlike Verilife, if you order in advance there is a separate pick up line which rarely has a wait when the line goes around the block. I hope Verilife looks to do this in future, since some people just need to pick up and go. Some people need more education, but if you have pre-order capability it does not make sense to not have two lines and make pre-orders behind people taking 20 minutes to decide when there are only two recreational check out lines. Kudos to Wareham for the excellent customer service and security, they do not allow any kind of smoking on the property. Verilife would get a higher rating, up until I got to the budtender and I asked for an Indica dominant hybrid and they suggested Super Silver Haze, a Sativa Hybrid. I pretty much dismissed asking any other questions after hearing another budtender also give misinformation. Many of us in line had more cannabis education than the budtenders. Plus, some of us have traveled and we know what Colorado, California, Oregon and Washington were like from the start.

    Verilife, for example, sells 5g flower flights with five varieties and this would be great for new recreational users that don’t want to choose each one and just want to sample before purchasing larger amounts. NETA has INDICA, SATIVA, and sometimes HYBRID five-pack prerolls selling for $70 for 1gram joints, pretty good deal and highly recommend.

    Going to Alternative Therapies was the worst of all three experiences currently available. It is in a very sketchy area of Salem with even creepier parking, has longer waits and they are super inefficient and not really friendly at all. Parking is already a problem in Salem. The police presence also did not really care about medical patients and allowed cigarette smoking right in front of the door and in line. It feels like you are entering a prison and they only had four cashiers checking out for recreational and an extremely limited menu. Drive somewhere else, avoid the line and wait. Their flower is okay and not really worth talking about.

    So I would rate NETA #1 for on point quality and analysis, great flavors, sticky bud and great packaging. They also have a 20% discount if you buy 4+ grams of concentrate. Great products and selection. Other discounts, but you have to check all RECREATIONAL menus for changes daily. I did not feel I had to question the quality.

    If you are totally new to dispensaries or you are tourist, I still think it is worth it to go to Northampton because the town is beautiful and the security is great, plus great food there.

    Verilife #2

    I loved the PAX promo and actually PAX promo people answered more questions ACCURATELY than any of the Verilife staff, regarding concentrates and vapes. The staff seemed burnt out or improperly educated by noon. I like the prices but not sure about the quality yet though Verilife basically is selling other established and some award winning dispensaries’ products. A little worried about safety in line not like NETA because the police in Wareham basically stood at the front of the building talking to each other and unlike in Northampton the police are very UNFRIENDLY. I actually worried about the medical patients at Verilife, some were standing in line and were elderly so luckily I asked them and told them to go directly to the check in person. Many people on my return shuttle were disappointed because Verilife did not issue their ADULT USE menu until today, and they were upset about not being able to buy the 5g Flight Variety flower and bought less overall because we just less choice. Do not confuse medical menus for recreational menus, they are NEVER the same.

    There were people on my shuttle enjoying Cultivate, I have not been there because their prices are the highest overall, and no one has told me yet their bud was as good as Amsterdam. Some strains from NETA definitely will make you feel you saved on hotel and airfare to AMS. I just hope they open a recreational NETA in Boston.

    #3 Alternative Therapies I would just say AVOID, who wants to pay 20% tax on an awful experience in a shady place with what seems to be nasty police. Seriously, the Salem police will glare at you, I promise, who wants that? I mean the dispensary put the poor police standing in the rain at the door with barely an awning and I never even saw them get a coffee. They are super disorganized, people cutting each other and arguing, no one watching and I expected to see a brawl during the three hours you may stand out there and they have no warming tents, did not offer umbrellas and literally it was a mistake not leaving the line. They have the worst product packaging! I don’t think I will ever tell someone purposefully to go in to Alternative Therapies, unless you want bad service, budtenders with very little social skills and not enough cannabis education. Maybe it is okay if you live there and can throw money away, and don’t mind clutching your wallet or purses because several gentleman remarked that someone coud pickpocket you in line and if you had to walk for parking you might get stabbed or robbed.

    Better buds literally everywhere else. Everything is dry. Smells like hay.

    You guys have no terpenes in your buds. No taste. Your ash burns grey/black. There’s rarely any white ash (white ash is a sign of a good grow for those of you who don’t know.)

    The staff used to be amazing. Everyone seems pretentious now.

    I asked how a certain strain was (honestly it was more for their sake I guess. I know my shit).

    The budtender says, in a pissy way, “it really depends on what I’m doing you know.”

    Wow great help. If I were a patient who literally didn’t know…just wow.

    All you guys care about is selling product and you don’t care how lousy your buds are.

    Thankfully there are many other dispensaries near by.

    Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The place looks and feels great, but is also very wasteful and has weak strains with limited descriptions. I feel this place gets caught up on hyping a product they hardly can describe themselves.

    Doesn’t that seem wrong? Get to know your product really well, THEN sell it.

    Numerous sales people I talked to in-depth with questions could hardly answer me. As a 15-year user and multiple state card holder, there’s plenty to know. It seems that the staff training is in a “retail” mindset, not about getting it right. No one there seemed like a pro bud-tender, or even close.

    On to the products themselves:

    I was excited at first, but after trying half a dozen flowers and the Lozenge (which had ZERO effect on me), it’s mostly been disappointing.

    Coming from California, the business is much more advanced there with years of experience, but NETA doesn’t seem to be learning from them.

    Overall, with little competition, its bittersweet to have a local dispensary, but with all flash and no substance.

    A few tips for the owners reading this:

    1. Learn from your customers – not by tossing an info card at them, but truly interacting with them for suggestions. Be creative, ask questions, interact online, change and progress.

    2. Know your product – the one sentence descriptions mean nothing. Use the product yourself with a group, organize a structure to write descriptive, original, detailed notes about the strain. Or, grow strains that are already popular and have deep info like here on Leafly – then you don’t have to write anything! The key here is for people to know what they are buying. Not buy scientific stats alone, but words that have meaning. It’s crucial – otherwise, uneducated users are in the dark.

    3. Less waste – I’m sure the MA requirements are strict, but someone needs to rethink the packaging process. Wow, 3 plastic containers and stickers for an 1/8th? 2 won’t due? Or even just one bag? Do we really need more plastic everywhere?

    4. Promote – Don’t say you can’t, the business is absolutely promoted. So get creative and give users opportunities to try new strains without committing. Like a free gram of your choice with every X amount purchased, etc. That opens the door to trying – which is crucial to build a menu out. How many restaurants just cook something, give a vague description and expect people to just go with it. It’s not sustainable. Being the first dispensary in the area, you should set a standard before other newcomers do.

    This is a great place. Nice, professional and beyond friendly. Staff is informative and takes the time to talk with you. I only stopped going because Brookline opened and it’s 30 mins away where N. Hampton is almost 2 hours from me. I’ll go when I’m in the area though!

    I’ve used NETA a few times, and I like their service, and their flower. The dose lozenges are great, they last a long time, and their effect is good. I have used the wishing well tincture too,a nice tasting product, but I really haven’t gotten more out of it than just feeling relaxed, but I have only had the hybrid of that, and that may be why. Next time I think I will try an Indica. I also have used the Allay lotion, the extra strength, works great, and relieves my knee pain from arthritis really well. I have also tried the regular strength,It gives some relief, but not much. I would recommend that strength for after you exercise, but the extra strength really better as a short acting very effective pain reliever.

    I bought two types of the Dline gummies, all they did was give me a headache and the worst stomache problems in years (Both made me feel bloated and have really foul gas).
    I also bought an Apex one Grandaddy Purple Cart and got one hit before it stopped working. Definitely a cheap cartridge. The distallate seemed good but couldn’t really tell much more from the one hit
    Very disappointed.
    I will not be visiting again

    It was my first time at any dispensary, so I don’t have any reference point for comparison, but I thought they were great! They spent at least a half hour with me, letting me go on and on indecisively about what products to get, and helping me make informed choices based on my description of my mental health symptoms.

    I would also like to mention that the company must have an amazing design team! The interior design of the shop is beautiful; earthy, woodsy and relaxing, yet somehow still very modern. The product packaging is art museum gift shop level gorgeous (though possibly too minimal, as I did find myself wanting more info). And their product catalog is beautiful enough for a coffee table book; I’m keeping it for my own personal design inspiration, because it is so dang pretty it would make anyone want to shop there even if they initially had no interest!

    The flower for sale for adult use is old, dry and the buds are tiny. I say this knowing full well what I have previously seen from the medical counter. Specifically then nugs are consistently just pebbles. Sad really. The storefront is decent, modern and bright but no smell jars, no viewing area, just a continuous procession due to lines. The staff is actually the best part. Very knowledgible about strains and product specifics. As more shops open, the shortcomings of Neta become more apparent with each visit. Try somewhere else first, and only come here if you reserve ahead…

Literally every single employee there was pleasant, helpful, patient, and gave comprehensive answers to every inquiry.     So I’ve been to NETA several times and each time my experience has gotten worse. The flower I got the last time I visited was what i would consider mostly shake and dry (and no this was not a shake 8th it was full price) the wax and shatter are the only thing I would recommend. APEX cartridges were hit or miss I’ve purchased around 8 and have only really enjoyed 2 or 3. Probably won’t be returning to neta as insa is my go to in that area now.

    Everything about this place was incredible until I saw the flowers. I may have come in on an ‘off’ day, but it seemed like all their flowers are hella larfy. Despite this all the strains I got smoked well, and I definitely don’t regret my trip, it just doesn’t have any ‘bag appeal’ (which I feel is a requirement at the typical dispensary prices in MA). With their first time customer deal it definitely doesn’t hurt to check out, and everyone should stop by because they are the only shop in the area.

    Also, make sure to call ahead if you want a particular strain. I went specifically for the GG#4, which was listed on their DAILY menu, but they were out of when I arrived around 4pm. Some (recreational) people may like a constantly rotating stock, but it seemed a lot of the customers their were looking for strains that worked for them previously but were no longer in stock. This makes it kind of dodgy when medicating, having to learn your reaction to new strains all the time.

    FYI I tried:

    -Harlox (CBD strain, zero flavor, no discernable high, but INCREDIBLE medical benifit, definitely a new favorite of mine)
    -Tangerine Haze (Taste was very mild and not what I expect with this strain, they might be growing a whack pheno, VERY intense sativa euphoric high which tends to make me feel anxious)
    -Chem Dog (Intense flavors, great indica dom high, will probably grab this one again)

    All things considered definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

    The quality of the product is decent, but nowhere near good enough to merit how much they charge.

    The service is awful. Theyll just replace your stuff if they run out and, instead of offering to replace it and let you choose like theyre supposed to, they just go ahead and do it with whatever they feel like and then get angry if you complain about it.
    They also have false values on alot of their product, and ive heard stories of peoples purchases being “pinched”.
    And if you call them to ask why you have recieved less product than you should, even with proof, they generally seem to just hang up.

    The atmosphere is nice. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and obviously it smells great.

    Go to INSA Easthampton.

    Can’t wait for Neta to reveal how many employees are developing lung infections and asthma for 12-16$ an hour. They have about 3 strains tops that are clean, the rest are all riddled with mold. They thought more co2 would solve the problem, wrong! All it dos is make the plant structure into blooming footballs of mold. The grow wearhouse used to be something else, and the previous tenants left it in a dump. The vents and building itself are riddled with mold. Guess they thought they made a steal in buying it, an now they know there f’d because relocation would cause a massive hault in production, thus they wouldn’t make their millions a week. The employees that don’t report getting sick also smoke 5 blunts every hour (while at work) maybe there bodies alhave adapted. Rather than try to improve the health conditions or god forbid increase the wages off the millions they make, they know that there’s stone kids lining out the door to work there. An thus the cycle will continue, oh and recently they got bought out by Suretta Wellness, most likely to help them when all the lawsuits start flooding in from employees and patients.
