very close to my house!! kind of hard to find depending on which way you’re coming from but other than that great location. Melvin was awesome!!! very knowledgeable and friendly made me feel very comfortable. Definitely will be coming here again!!!

I love this place. Everytime I’ve come, the associates have helped me pick the perfect strains for what I’m looking for. Last visit, Devon C. suggested ‘Durban Poison’ which is now my favorite! along with Lemonhead OG (also previously suggested by an Herbology employee). I will definitely be back!
Today was my second visit and I totally love this place. I travel 27 miles to come here because they always have what I need. The staff is fun and knowledgeable and it’s even a great time sitting in the waiting room, chatting with the other customers.
These guys are doing the shatter game in MoCo proper!! I like that i can order ahead and they have the best prices, along with a friendly and diverse staff.
In my first review I made it known that the budtenders, the environment/vibe, and the product.quality were superb and had secured my loyalty for days to come. Now after having read some negative reviews recently and some complaints about the product, I have changed my review and would like to acknowledge these comments. This place… IS STILL FANTASTIC!!! sorry they didnt have the strain you wanted or sold out, get over it. This is the best dispensary around and if you’re going to be a big baby and complain, complain to your eye doctor for not letting you know you’re blind to greatness.
Sarah was my bud tender for my second visit and her recommendations for bud was dead on . Her suggestions of strains were very insightful and on point . I was treated restfully and courteously by a very knowledgeable professional who works in a very safe location . I really appreciate how I am treated at Herbology. Thanks again Sarah you ROCK !
I’m a local to this dispensary and I love the location! My experience from start to finish was amazing, and all the staff made my first time there perfect. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, and you aren’t kept waiting long. A simple check in and I was greeted by the smiling and enthusiastic General Manager, Melvin. He was very kind and made sure I had all the information I needed to make my purchase. The vibe in this place is the kind you want from a dispensary, and they make the whole process hassle free. They have plenty of Grade A strains and their shatter is the lowest priced out of all the Maryland dispensaries. A BIG plus to Herbology because they have the LOWEST prices across the board in Maryland currently. If anyone is considering making the trip here you will not be disappointed!

Friendly staff the selection is pretty much the same as all the other locations in the area.
I have made this location my default dispensary. I realize that there are many options and visit all of them opened prior to selecting Herbology as mine. The staff is amazing, all of them, they make you feel comfortable in the process, their advice is on point when it comes to strains, they have a steady supply of strains constantly changing and adding products to meet everyone’s need. I constantly check other places menus, just to have an idea of what’s there and prices, and found that they are normally the one dispensary with more flower options. Their prices are comparable to all others, but with offers and deals, and the rewards program, they definitely surpass others in the area. To my favorite budtenders Devon, Stanley and Mel: Thank you!!

it’s not bad, right off 270 and 355.
Came for their opening and expected a wait. Their waiting room was warm and super comfy. The owners were there and were really friendly and vocal about any issues. They gave free T-shirt’s and discounts off future visits. I drove here for a specific product, when I arrived, they didn’t have it, but they offered to hold when it arrived. A few days later, they called me to let me know I could pick up. Totally pleased with my experience and with the choices. Visit them! You won’t regret it!
Every time I go in this place everyone is very friendly and know what they are talking about. My man Vonn helped me this past time and was super helpful and chill from the moment I walked into the door. I highly recommend there in house strains too.
Great location, easy access. My aEURoebud tenderaEUR, Vonn was helpful, but not overly, and did direct me to the evolve Yocan. Being 7/10 I got some deals on concentrate, and Vonn and I shared some chuckles…he put me at ease immediately! This will be one of my go to places….did I mention their service is aEURoedeliaEUR style? Love being able to see what you get! Awesome 🙂

Came here yesterday for my first dispensary visit. Both the staff that were there were very energetic and enthusiastic which helped ease my first visit . Stanley was who helped me and he was GREAT!! very knowledgeable about all of the product there. He was extremely helpful , honest and gave very detailed and thorough answers to all of my questions. And most importantly, they have quality product!!! I was very pleased when I got home with my purchase.. I’ll definitely be a regular here.

I have been going to this dispensary since I got my recommendation. This by far the best dispensary in the Gaithersburg area with the best overall pricing and a huge selection of products. Devon was professional, knowledgeable about the finest details of the products he was discussing and made me feel at home. Close to being a senior & a living testament to the benefits of cannabis, I was thrilled to get my Medical Marijuana card. I found my first experience at Herbology to be easy & very safe. Everyone was so nice & professional, & working with DeVon put me at ease, answering all my ?’s & finding what best fit my medical needs.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first dispensary that I went to today, but I certainly wished it was! I paid $15 more for the exact save product at a different dispensary. I am so glad that I stopped at Herbology. The staff (2 ladies that I can’t remember their names… sorry) was knowledgeable and very friendly. The customer service is awesome! They made me feel right at home. Melvin is the GM. Although he didn’t help me directly, I introduced myself, and it was as if we’d known each other for years! I have been to this dispensary 5 times and I love how close it is to my house. The staff is SO helpful! I have experienced 3 different staff members and they have already taught me so much. Vaughn (I think, super sweet with crazy hair) helped me my first & second time then my 4th and fifth time I was helped by a lovely lady who helped me with my autism & cbd questions and in return I let her know the best taco place nearby. I look forward to a long relationship with this staff/dispensary!

Saw budtender Devon C. He always knows what to recommend. I even got a moon rock recipe! Variety is, as always, a little overwhelming with all the choices but the tender’s recommendations have Never failed to make the choices simple. They also beat others prices even without any discount. My #1 shop!

This place is great and everything you would come to expect and hope for with a dispensary. Staff is extremely friendly and super knowledgable. The variety is amazing and they always have new strains. The aesthetic in there is warming and comfortable. I don’t have to get patted down when I enter. It’s the best I highly recommend!

Rarely to I go into a place to purchase anything outside of the food service industry and say aEURoeThat was truly a fun time!aEUR It was great meeting everyone that worked there. They are knowledgeable about everything, with excellent service. Very relaxed atmosphere. I’m definitely returning for sure.
This is another nice spot for the local area. Herbology is the most chill spot I have been yet. The medication buying area is very relaxed and comfortable. The GM Melvin is real easy to talk to and knows his strains. The other young lady was friendly too (sorry forgot her name). Felt like I was hanging out with food friends immediately. The product is on par with everyone else which is getting there. Customer service wins in the end.

Great staff, helpful and friendly… from opening the door, to registration, all the way to the sales counter. After a brief discussion staff helped me with a few selections to try. I left with balm, flower and vape…. and I gotta say, i was not disappointed.
My only wish is they expand their CBD options beyond one vape cartridge. I’ve seen a few CBD and 1:1 strains popping up throughout the MD markets, and if HERBOLOGY selection were better it would be my only choice! Also. The Vape prices are, hands drown, the best in the state at the moment.
They also have a loyalty program. I don’t know if that is common, but certainly worth a mention.
The facility is clean and well designed, and has good accessibility.

No patronizing, no overt criticism of strain shopping, and they know they have many products I commonly use available. You guys > corporate. That is all 🙂
I’m gonna go ahead and name drop….STANLEY!!! This is the third dispensary I’ve visited and because of the way Stanley treated me, I’m gonna make it my numero uno. His customer service isn’t something that can be taught in a class or seminar, he genuinely cares about us, the patients. He listened to what I was looking for, understood my concerns, and was able to recommend the best medicine for me. I like this place but they closed their doors Friday 6/1/18because the matrix system went down. The matrix system came back up but they chose to close their doors instead of waiting it out and staying open. very un cool and ethically very wrong. Other dispensaries waited it out and kept their doors open that’s called being dedicated to their patients. For me it’s a trust issue and I can no longer trust them because of this
My first time in a dispensary. After so many years not imbibing at alI, it felt weird to just go buy some (with an MMCC certification of course). It was so above board, like they had it all down pat. The info, the service, all were top notch. The guys working there were uniformly patient, kind and informed. They understood what I wanted and knew what I needed. I enjoyed my visit.
Have visited 47 dispensaries in Oregon, Colorado, California, Maryland, and Nevada (many times just to check the layout and style) Herbology ranks in the top five.
Candice and Mel are exceptionally professional and knowledgeable in cannabis. All of the staff are well-trained and good communicators.

I have been in twice so far, one of the closest to my house so it is easy to get to. The waiting area is nice, good selection on hand – they had over 20 strains of flower when I went last. Picked up some super potent White Sour. Prices seem to be in line with other dispensaries, the staff is quite friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back.
Great Location, and atmosphere. Very laid back location that was very clean and products are nicely displayed. Mel was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products while he was assisting me in my decisions.
Great location. Great staff. The waiting room was huge compared to others. Wide screen 4K TV to keep you occupied, Cannabis books etc. I will be recommending Herbology to everyone! The Jack Herer was A1 quality, all buds.
