3. I love SWC!!!!! I am a PSC member and recommend this to anyone who comes to SWC regularly! They have the best deals in town and the service is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes the lobby is crowded, but once you visit, you can then take advantage of delivery and pick up options, which get you out the door fast! The 7g shake bags (actually come in a tube hahah) are the best deal ever. Every one I have ever purchased has been more little buds than shake. Great value. Thanks for all you do SWC!!!!

14. I have always loved SWC, they are a top notch dispensary and really the only one I go to while in the valley. It’s great bud, even better concentrates and flame edibles at good prices. I recently joined psc and had one misunderstanding about the psc percs but as I brought it up my problem was handled with immediate attention by the assistant manager Vanessa and I couldn’t of been more pleased with how attentive she was and how accommodating she was with my misunderstanding. Vanessa definitely made my night, and is absolutely managerial material!! A++ dispensary and customer service with the nicest staff.

15. SWC has a beautifully remodeled location right off the 101, half-way between Rio Salado & University. It’s accessible via the south-bond Price frontage road, on the right. They have friendly bud tenders, and a welcoming open layout. I’ve found their flower good, although often extremely dry — to the point, a wrong look turns it to dust. HOWEVER! They have a wonderful selection of edibles. Their Infusion brownies, and soda are great. The only bad thing in the experience is the inaudible PA they use to call your name. Please, SWC, have your budtenders walk the extra few feet to call out names from the door. Employees insist on using the bad PA, and then apologize for it, after waiting two feet from the door. Don’t replace the PA, stay cheap, change the silly policy.

17. This place has a great vibe. I’ve come here quite a few times and every time, I am impressed with how knowledgeable, courteous, and patient the staff is. Nobody has ever been pushy, which is super important for me. The have a good selection of meds and it changes, so you don’t get bored. My last visit is what got me to write this review, because we had a kinda strange situation, and they handled it PERFECTLY. Thanks to SWC and all their employees!

18. This place is soooo freakin epic! It’s convenient to my home, has a low-key and friendly atmosphere, and cool vibes when youre in the room picking out your meds. Donovan helped me out and he recommended some great strains and orgasmic edibles!! Excellent selection, and the ipad menu thing was pretty cool.

19. Pleasant and welcoming staff, but I can’t help but feel lied to. On their display their squeeze brand shatter looked solid, tasty, clear and was even told their potency was high. I recall very clearly a staff member claiming upwards of 90% THC content on their shatter. Upon purchase the wax was both dark, unpleasant to smell, smoke and was in the 50-65 THC% which is unacceptable considering it was the farthest thing from their display. Do not waste your money here. If you’re buying wax here buy High Grade brand. NOT Squeeze. Also no returns even after I called 10 minutes after my purchase. My wax was unopened and I just asked if I can exchange it since I just purchased it TEN minutes ago. Was put on hold then told NO I can not return any products unless they are broken cartridges.

Blew my new patient offer on a G of that shatter and the Squeeze Durban Poison. The Squeeze shatter is good, no qualms there. But Hi-Grade, man…… that’s bad.

Came by today and walked straight back out, the wait times are always bad here but what’s even worse is the bathroom sized waiting room, I understand you don’t want to rush patients but come on at least have a waiting room to accommodate a long wait time for patients, you have people bunched up in a small room and it’s very uncomfortable, and it’s not like we can wait outside with 115 degree weather, will not be going back.

65. The staff is great, very friendly. I can only give a few stars for the concentrate by Squeeze, Kong sugar wax is great. As for the flower I wish I could give negative stars. Both strains, Chem Valley Kush and Critical Hog are extremely dry, there’s absolutely no moisture. If you plan on coming here be sure to check your flower packages and press on the medicine, you’ll know if it’s really dry before buying it. What really irks me is them charging $56 an eigth for dry meds, do yourself a favor and go to PARC for a $35 eigth, that is actually moist.

66. SWC Tempe was AWESOME! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, not to mention great quality meds! I’ll definitely come back here! The only thing I didn’t like is that if you’re under 21 then you can’t go into the back room, you have to make your order up front. I’ve never had this anywhere else in Tempe, so I’m not sure what’s up with that. But aside from that, great location with great meds!

80. Overall the med quality is quite good and the atmosphere is pleasant although the waiting area can feel small if there actually is a wait (which there usually isn’t). The budtenders seem to be for the most part up to date on current affairs in the industry and very informative on medicine. The biggest reason for my lower review in the med quality department is that I use concentrates and although they do not produce any of the concentrates themselves they are responsible for what is on the shelves. The Uncle Herbs concentrates that they offer are amazing, but the Vital V “shatter” leaves a lot to be desired the Shubba Bubba I received was brown and tasted like old gym socks smell (not a pleasant experience to say the least) after I gave it another purge it tasted much better but still gave me a headache. Be careful what you put on the shelves you guys are responsible for the meds you offer. That being said I do like this place and their flower select gets better every time I come in, so I would definitely come back here again. -KVBD

Got GSC & Mastadon… Budtendor could not tell me a thing about Mastadon and GSC they have as a Sativa hybrid… Last I checked its lineage says different. Quality of flower was terrible, big stems and Mastadon had a couple seeds. Sell their quantities in multiples of dub sacks. If you want bomb chronic like you find in Seattle, go to Herbal Wellness Center. SWC sells prepackaged, no good flower. Especially their “premium” 1/8’s for $54?!?!? Ridiculous dispensary. Would not recommend, especially when your budtendor gives you the answer of “I don’t know!” This place is a horrible disgrace to the marijuana industry.

I’m a solid sativa user, 99.999% of the time, and I tell them this and they keep trying to push indica on me. Look, as much as this is a business, you’re a pharmacy. When I know what works for me, learn to work with it, not try and push me into what I don’t want.

Was not impressed with quality of the flower dry and smell of kush quality was there not fire though. Tried 1/16g of Skywalker non OG strain. Was also dry and harsh. Not impressed either with quality of Skywalker. Got free 1grm of White fire Og. Looks Ok OG structure is there, once again not fire. For $56 1/8 are over priced for quality. Budtender was real knowledgeable and friendly. Inviating atmosphere.

I don’t really care if they’re big or small buds, just a tight structure. They typically have 2 or 3 strains that fit the bill. Burning desire? More indica Timeless cartridges would be groovy.

186. SWC Tempe is closest to my house, so is convenient to drive. I do not care much for their prices, and they rarely have good specials. They do however have a punch card that says “spend $100 and get $5 off next visit”. I don’t believe that’s a good deal! Plus when they do give specials it’s on crappy stains, low THC levels, and they close at 6, or 7pm. The place is only convenient if you do not want to travel outside of Tempe.

203. This is by far my favorite place. I finally joined the membership and it is worth it. I save more money here than anywhere else. 90% of the bud tenders are awesome, once in a while I see a new one that doesn’t know as much, but no biggie for me. I’ve been short money and they’ve hooked me up, the amount of free stuff I get here is way more than anywhere else. I haven’t expierence any of the negatives I’ve seen in the other reviews, except the wait times. They can seriously suck. Plan it out, don’t go on peak times.

     I used to hate the plastic zip bags, but the new squeeze containers are awesome. Great wax selection too. Don’t let the negatives deter you. Come check it out for yourself!

222. I’m very unhappy with my experience I came in for a gram of OG shatter and on the menu in the waiting room it was priced at $65 a gram but the dude at the counter told me it was $75, this prevented me from getting anything else and they seemed completely oblivious to the error on their menu.

223. The service and atmosphere was above average from what I have experiences thus far in the greater Phoenix area. However, one of the three strains of flower that I ordered (Girl Scout Cookie) was extremely stale. It was my first visit, so a free eighth sounds fantastic, right? That’s what I thought. The flower was so stale that when I opened the ziploc container for the eighth, it smelled like it had been stored in a vacuum sealed container for months prior to ending up in my hands. I might give this business another visit in the future but when there are this many options available in this area, it is highly unlikely.

224. I loved this place! There is not a humongous selection, but there is still quite a bit. I was very pleased. I went in for my first time today and all of the staff were awesome. They had a deal today of spending $50 or more, you can to pick out a free eighth. Good prices as well. It might not be important to some, but they have pill cases for your meds rather then plastic zip bags. I thought that was an extra bonus because I like them and your meds don’t get smushed at all. Anyways, it’s a great place. Try it out!

It’s been well over a year… long enough for dispensaries to recover start-up costs and move prices to Colorado levels. Enough with the price gouging SWC! I would like to make SWC a “go-to” dispensary but one can get the same great quality meds at HALF THE PRICE from local delivery services. Customer Rewards only work when the original price points are reasonable. That or the discount is of value…not merely a retailing insult of 10-15% off (on a 300% mark-up). Stamps on a card that give a free pre-roll after every $1000 spent is no “reward.” Why not just be honest and offer reasonable prices instead of hustling “so called” promo gimmicks?

234. I was told there would be a 30 minute wait. My first (and so far only other) dispensary experience is Harvest of Tempe, which is more of a pharmacy atmosphere. While the folks here are friendly, i really don’t understand why there is a 30 minute wait and a waiting room full of people. i just needed to stop by and pick up a few things, but i will go somewhere else in the future.

237. Great Atmosphere but the service took a while since I was a first time patient and the quality of Shatter I got was extremely dissatisfying. I went to go visit a friend in Tempe and the closest place to go was this place. It was hard to find I drove by it twice because it was inside a hidden between warehouses. The shatter was extremely expensive for the quality. When I say I’m dissatisfied about the quality it is because you can tell they use really bad trim. The “White Fire Alien” wasn’t even that good considering I paid $60 a gram for it. If you guys are charging that much at least get a better extractor to do your extracting. I will not be coming back in the near future.

251. I had a really positive experience. As a first time patient I was able to take advantage of getting a free 1/8th with a $50 purchase. They split them into 1/16ths just in case you want to sample a couple of different strains.

     I’m very pleased with the flowers. Definitely amazing quality. The staff is young,friendly and knowledgeable.The waiting room is a bit congested but over all the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend SWC. Each flower was a great representation of its strain including the visual appearance.

255. I got my card today 5/17/2018 and SWC Tempe is the first dispensary I have been in. I had searched reviews of dispensaries near me and this was the closest and it had very positive reviews. I studied the menu online and looked at all the offerings and read all the reviews of the the strains with the most stars and the descriptions people gave of the experience. I chose Wookies OG #8 which had 4.9 stars and the proper amount to treat my conditions.

     First, the lobby area had about 4 or 5 people in it and there are plenty of benches and a debit machine. They deliver to your home if you live in Tempe, (not to Mesa fur some reason.)

     I filled out brief a 1 page front & back registration form and gave the pleasant gentleman my AZ driver’s license and brand new Medical Marijuana Card!

     A fellow patron and I struck up a conversation and he recommended a muscle rub that they still there. I told him maybe next time because I just shelled out for the certification card. When I was called I was greeted enthusiastically by a young wo5. She did tell me her name, but I forgot and I can’t find it on the receipt! She is wonderful!

     She explained the brand new New Patient Special where I could buy up to 1/4 of flower and get 1/4 free. I decided to get 1/4 Wookies OG #8 and I asked what she thought based on what I told her the doctor had recommended and the effect I need. She told me I would love Dr Who so I got that.

     When I got home I took a whiff of each one and looked at the size of the buds. Dr Who is large buds. I decided to grab a bud of each and mix them together. I couldn’t wait to roll a j3 so I stuffed some in little pipe! I felt transformed on the first hit and after about 3 I was able to just sit and relax on my couch and be in head without feeling the constant pain. I think the amount I got should last a week or two. I do need to take subsequent hits when the brain focus starts to fade and the pain returns. I am going to try to see how long I can go between light-uos and quantity of product for effective chronic pain control for cost purposes.

     Speaking of costs. It was $77 for 1/4 and I got 1/4 free. Total a little over $83 after tax! I am very happy with the location and the service!

263. This place is great. I was in line for about 10 minutes but when I got inside the whole setup was amazing. They had all of the samples ready for examining and smelling and what not, with a knowledgeable person to answer any questions you might have.
     I went in thinking I was going to spend about $200 but when I found out for all of the discounts I qualify for I walked out with way more bud then what I intended and paid a lot less 200. Seriously, I feel like I made out like a bandit. This place rocks I highly suggest it to anyone!

264. I was a new patient at SWC today and am very impressed with the Deep Purple flower I got. I got a gram of the Qrazytrain wax as well and the quality is good. Worth 60? Not so much, but can’t complain. I felt welcome and was happy to here I got a free 8th for being FTP. Only DOWNSIDE is my budtender seemed like he was just trying to get people in and out. I get it, you guys get busy, but this is retail and medicine all in one. A little more interaction and maybe at least acting like your open to answer and questions can go a really long way in first impressions. Especially for FTP. I will definitely be back!!

I go here because it’s closest to my house and the wait usually isn’t bad and also I like the back room where you purchase your meds, it has dark lighting, which feels better to my chronic head aches. But here are my pet peves….The buds usually pretty dry, because they keep them in bottles that are pre mesured out, they’re colored so you can’t see what’s inside until you get home, there’s different colored bottles, and for whatever reason I always seem to get the same colored ones (different strains) and it’s hard to know which ones which when they all look the same and it’s hard to read the tiny print on the sticker label ( I fix this by labeling them with markers when I get home), there’s annoying wires that go across each tenders station/register and it’s positioned at eye level in between you and their space, so it’s annoying but you just have to get used to bobbing your head up or down to maintain eye contact when speaking with your budtender. The waiting room!!!! It sucks. Not enough room for everyone, and you have to sit awkwardly on the same couch (pleather, nice and sweaty and sticky pleather) as complete stangers, like no personal space what so ever, all together, I think there’s 5 seats (couch and love seat) and there’s enough room for about 3 people to stand around the couches. Pre-rolls… I don’t know who’s been rolling them or if they use a packer gadget thing and they pack them too tight? I don’t know who or what’s responsible but they never burn a constant rolling burn,(yes I know how to properly light it) and I wind up having to put the herb in a piece to smoke. Lastly, I think their prices could be better, but because they’re located in Tempe, they automatically charge more, but not as much as Scottsdale, so I find them resonable, especially since they usually have some kind of special that saves you some dough as well as their point system. Which saves you some money too. Over all, it’s convenient and reasonable so I keep going.

I don’t know why anyone would think this flower is top quality, they must have never had fresh smelly dense nuggets… I got 6 different flowers and they were all weak and I smoked through 5 grams in a few hours. not to mention my bud tender looked like he hated his life and gave me no real suggestions for flower. the samples all look better than the pre packaged dry flower you actually go home with. the waiting room is so small and the back room feels like your at a bank teller… not a good experience, overpriced flower for the quality received. will not return, as I spent 100 dollars and still had to use other medication to fall asleep.

This will be my last visit to SWC. Don’t even waste your time.

Since I have been going here the selection is always well rounded, with different strains and hybrids. I love the fact each tender has tried more than one variety and knows from experience how each strain works for medical ailments. Their daily specials are awesome as well as the frequent stamp card. I was able to purchase a gram last week for $3!!!!! Living on a tight budget, this is awesome beyond words 🙂 the pricing is also perfect with tax included so I know exactly how much I am spending before I go in (they keep their menu updated on here very well). The best part for me is proximity to my house, it is also easily accessible from anywhere in the valley. Keep up the great work!!

457. Visited this place a few times right by my home. Wait time was a little long however once I got to speak with someone, the employee had very little knowledge about the products. There was not a very wide selection to choose from and the prices of the products were pretty high for the quality. The budtender was very little help and I ended up buying only a few prerolls due to the limited product available. Worst of all, the budtender never gave me back my mmj card during my transaction, I called the next morning after discovering my card was gone and they were unable to find my card for me at this location. I was very dissatisfied with the very poor service I received and now I have to have a new mmj card issued to me. This dispensary is 1 mile from my house and I plan on continuing to drive to downtown Phoenix instead due to the bad experience I received. I Do Not recommend this dispensary to anyone

458. This has quickly become my favorite dispensary. Their selection is unrivaled. I know for certain that if I stop in, they’re going to have exactly what I’m looking for. The service is always top-notch and the 5% reward point kickback is much appreciated (i.e. spend $100, get $5 in store credit).

     Along with having, what is in my opinion, the best selection and service, the design and atmosphere of the dispensary are excellent. Very cozy, relaxing, and (possibly most importantly in Arizona) the A/C is always set nice and cool.

There are a few select strains available that are very good, (amongst several strains you can hardly consider medical quality). However no matter which strain you choose, it will most certainly be dryer than expected by the time you buy it. This is because the plastic containers provide absolutely no preservation of the flower. And SWC has them prepackaged, sitting on the shelves ready for purchase, all while losing the freshness of the product. And being that flower is sold by weight, it would not surprise me if the grams end up being less than by the time they are sold. I feel this is an easy fix as MOST dispensaries in AZ use very different (and more effective) packaging. Quite frankly, 9 times out of 10 I prefer other dispensaries solely because of this problem here at SWC.

Overall their prices are a little more steep but the friendliness of the staff helps me overlook that.

I usually get great customer service here, but the front desk person was talking to another staff member and ignored me when I said hi and asked how they were doing. No big deal. I am called to the back where my bud tender was somewhat helpful but failed to meet my needs. I was inquiring about vape pens that were CBD and not THC, when I was told that they did not carry any pens that were not rich in THC. I went another direction, but found out after talking to a friend and checking the leafly menu that they do in fact carry an all cbd disposable vape pen. This place usually takes care of me but this particular time I felt neglected by the staff and felt that my budtender didn’t have a full understanding of the menu. 4 out of 5 stars still worth checking out

564. I’ve been coming here since I first became a cannabis patient in 2015. Usually my experience is awesome, however my last time in was not very pleasant. SWC has a 48-hour cartridge return policy. Which encourages you to bring in a defected cartridge.
     A couple days prior to my visit I had purchased a Kind Live Resin 500mg cartridge. It drained my regular O.pen, my 2.0, my Huxton and dream Steam batteries after inhaling 3-4times. I explained that to Jared, my budtender. He took a look at the cartridge and asked me if I want to get a new battery. I don’t understand why he asked me that if I had just mentioned to him that I owned several batteries. He insisted that it sounded like it was. I mentioned that I’ve been told before to bring in a cartridge if I had any problem with it. He then asked me what I WANTED HIM to do, for the second time!? At that point I just told him forget it. I felt put on the spot.
     One of the reasons for medicating is to help me with chronic worrying and a bit of social anxiety. I have abnormal reactions to these situations especially if I’m not familiar with the people involved. Adrenalin starts pumping, my heart thumps, I have to focus on breathing making it’s hard for me to get words out. And so I live in fear of being ‘put on the spot’ everyday. I went on and bought another cartridge. Definitely thought about walking away but that would not have helped my anxiety for future visits. At the end I saved $10 off my $100+ purchase plus my reward points and discount for being a PSC member. Totaled I saved about $25. I try to use the savings to justify the ill feelings during my visit but here it is, two days later and Im still thinking about it.

All of the flower I got was dry, brittle and burned horribly. The prices were lower then I am used to so I got what I paid for but the dispensary I usually go

High end kief should look lime green not greenish brown. I should have known when I smelled their flower. If you would have advertised it at $15 a gram I would be ok but the fact that you charged me $30 for a subpar product makes me believe that you dont care and are only interested in making money. I was smart enough not to buy anything else because none of your flower even have much smell. Honest to god thruth, this is the first dispensary where I walked in and did not feel as if I was in a dispensary by the odor. Usually when the door opens you get a big whiff. Nothing. If you like Bloom you will like this place. If you want Kind Bud at decent prices I happen to like Tru Med the best. They charged me $25 for kief and it is 10 x better. I suggest adjusting your prices to be fairer with your patients. You are selling subpar product, that dont charge top shelf price for something that is not. Thanks anyway.

A dispensary that cant rotate the samples more than once a month? She again assured me it would taste and smell better. I’ve been a member for about two years and always choose to come here before anywhere else…I live the customer service and just the general vibe of the facility.The staff are great and so is the flower. Over time one huge flaw with this dispensary is the inconsistency of customer rewards. They’ve switched their method of keeping points twice and they say they’ll reimburse you the points …which doesnt seem to ever be true so saving your points is pointless. All in all i love this place and wish them the best of luck just wish they would be a little more considerate of customers at that long time ones.

764. This dispensary is a joke! The only reason I called this place was because of a “sale” they were having on edible chocolate. The asking price was $12.00 on Suprb.com with a $5.00 discount. Leafly displayed the same product for $15.00 with a $5.00 discount. I was confused and phoned the actual dispensary for accurate information. I spoke with Rachel who checked with her Supervisor Ally for details. I was assured that the Suprb.com price of $6.00 would be honered. I purchased four edibles and even left a note reminding them of the conversation. I waited three hours and got a clueless driver who had no idea what I was talking about. I had to stand outside like an idiot and explain why $51.00 was not the correct total. He phoned the dispensary himself and told me that he could discount the $51.00 order by $5.00. I shut the door in his face. I would not trust anyone who works at this place. They are clearly to busy to be bothered to coordinate with each other. Their delivery time is pitifully slow and their drivers are so uninformed, it’s embarrassing. I wouldn’t return to this dispensary if it was the only one in the entire state of Arizona.

783. I wanted to see what SWC was like so I came in earlier this week. This was my first time to this dispensary so it took me a little bit of driving around to find the place. The FTP paperwork was super easy to fill out but the lobby is very small and it was very busy so there was no room to sit down. Once back into the dispensary you get to work with one of the bud tenders personally and I didn’t feel like a bunch of people were all over the place so that was nice. The flower was good, I wouldn’t say it’s the best I had but for the price it was good.

My only complaint is they don’t offer anything in deals on concentrates like other dispensaries do. Lastly they only offered by one get one on Timeless cartridges which have been proven to use harmful chemicals in extracting so I was slightly bummed. I would have loved to get a deal on Pura/drip.

My budtender Jared, was very knowledgeable and informative about when new flower came in and what deals they had each week/month. The only problem I had with this place was the quality of flower. It might have been since I came in on a Monday and the budtender told me they get new shipments in on Tuesday. The Acapulco Gold had seeds in it and it was going for 54$ an 1/8! First time patient deal is great though, spend 50$ get a free 1/8! And a fantastic loyalty rewards program! I’ll be back but on Tuesdays from now on!

The SWC tender that assisted me was really cool and made me feel at-ease, educated me, helped me find what would fit my med needs (top quality) and all around got me squared-away. WOULD ding 1 star just for their display and assistance floor, was a little tight for MY initial comfort level, but then again “thats just me” then again the tender made me feel at-ease one invited back. All 4 strains I got have the same taste and none of them get you high for longer than the initial head rush. They are very dark and hard to break in pieces. The Jedi Kush budder was dark brown with no scent and an awful taste. These are being vaporized thru a quartz banger with an e-nail at 575 degrees so it’s not my hardware. The flower NEVER weighs what it’s supposed to. Bought four grams of Kosher Kush today and it weighed 3.85g. I don’t have a bullshit scale either. Mines top of the line and calibrated. When I go to other dispensaries and get home and weigh it, it weighs what it is supposed to. If it says 3.53… that’s what it weighs. I have NEVER come home from SWC, and had my buds weigh on point. I have two other friends that REFUSE to go back here because of the same exact reason. Sometimes the bud even turns to dust when ground up. You need quality control. Big time.

When I got home and opened my bag I found out that one of my 1.75 bags has 2 decent size stems in it. This is probably the last straw with me shopping at SWC. 1195. I’ve been to a few different dispensaries and this is the 1st place I will not go back to. They made me take off my hat. The’re is no vibe however I received great service from the employees. The quality of the medicine is not great. The medicine was very dry and full of seeds. Not worth what I paid for.. this place needs to lower their prices or get better quality meds.

1214. SWC Tempe is a great option to have so close to me in Tempe, and I have never had any complaints about the quality of their flower. Sometimes their prices are too high for what I’m looking for, but they almost always have a good selection of value-priced strains too. Overall I think you get what you pay for, and since SWC offers some really great flower, the price for the higher end strains is justified, although I’ve never been disappointed by their value strains either.
