The staff is always nice and helpful
I always come here they have great product but the online ordering process was not great and they didn’t have my order ready so I had to wait anyway the online menu is sometimes different from the menu when you get inside the employees here are very nice and friendly they make you feel like you are In good hands I will recommend this dispensary too all my family and friends I really like the point system that you can use anytime you won’t thanks MWC Family see you soon

MWC gives you the whole enchilada: conveniently located, discrete, and mellow, with none of the chaos typical of pharmacies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in helping find the right strain of medecine for what ails you.
This place does not have a good system in place. They barely have inventory and restrict you to only buy one gram at a time. This becomes problematic because their prices are extremely high. If they have 4 strains and you can only buy 1g of each its 4 for $100 which is highway robbery. It has been like this for at least 4 month and there is no end in site. You are better off with another dispensary or sticking to old school methods
Best Buds in town. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Workers are very knowledgeable and are up on the newest gadgets. Go once and you’ll keep going. They make you feel like family!

Awful experience.
My budtender acted like I was a bother. I asked about their shatter and he pointed to a wall and left it at that. I felt unimportant, rushed, and didn’t get everything I wanted. At one point while I was looking through the menu and asking about stuff he said, aEURoeyou’re better off just telling me what you want and I’ll just get it.aEUR I’M A CUSTOMER! Show and sell me some of your wares!
A customer told me about Moonsticks and for what I intended to buy and the kind of service I’m used to really made MWC look bad. I bought 4 prerolls and the quality was shoddy! For $14 I only got .5 grams and the paper was loose and cramped on the preroll.
Two positives, the front desk receptionist was friendly and warm. Another budtender (didn’t catch their name but they had brown hair) was pretty cool as well.
Never again. I’ll drive up to MD or use Leafedin.

I have been coming to this dispensary for over a year! Every single time I come, every one is friendly, respectful and kind. They offer recommendations, the staff members are knowledgeable of the various strains and weigh everything in front of you. They also have a wide variety of strains to choose between. And what I love the most… there is never a long line. Thanks for everything you do!

I like MWC. Granted the prices can be a little higher than other locations but the people and the service is always on point. Plus there’s typically a solid variety of strains, at various price points. I tend to opt for the strains that don’t top out at 25 a G or 85 an 8th and it works out just fine! Current favorites: Ed Rosenthal, medijuana, sweetest taboo and sour Diesel #4.

Pre rolls are dry and have zero potency. Very dY~z need to go back to Tacamo for better service and attention to my needs. They move slow getting you in and act too fast to fill your order which discourages communication

It has been such a pleasure to say that MWCDC is my dispensary… I personally do not have experience from another dispensary, but MWC is what I think of as the ideal place to properly learn about the Cannabis Program, consult with professionals and of course purchase product.
Everyone on the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable and their system of having people wait in the newly renovated lobby while customers finish up, so it never gets too crowded and there are always 1 or 2 to 1 staff to customer.
MWC also has a fantastic selection that is always changing, and their online menu is a great way to peruse the daily, and you can even order online for same day pick-up.
Metropolitan Wellness Center also has one of the coolest updated websites, and a mobile version that is just as near!
The bud is decent. I’m disappointed that they don’t have any concentrates (wax/shatter/budder) or edibles. That’s not really their fault as they are trying to catch up with demand since DC decriminalized. Essentially any condition is approved, which means gardens are having a rough time keeping up, I think. There are only 3 dispensaries and gardens in the district. They helped me do my application from start to finish.
The place is hard to find. It’s not advertised from the street at all, which I can see being a great thing for people who really concerned about confidentiality, but it’s also really difficult to find where you’re going. It’s on the 2nd floor of a building advertised for fixing cell phones.
Prices are super high compared to other states’ medical programs.
They have had 2 strains of bud the last 3 days. When I went yesterday they were down to 1 and said they wouldn’t be getting more until Monday.
It’s nice that there is a whole wall of smoking accessories in case you need it, and having a section for patients to roll j’s on their own (if they want) using MWC grinders and then your own papers.
So far it’s been a pretty good experience. My only complaint is the same complaint everyone has: lack of product, but that’s really district wide.
After a year at this place, i had to lower my review. Love the people and the location. However, prices are WAY higher than any other dispensary in dc. $85 per gram vs most others charge around $60 per gram. These are the same strains as every where else in dc. Shop around before deciding to join here.
I informed the dispensary that I was changing dispensaries due to the price differences. They sent me an email back saying they take pricing very seriously, and a manager would get back to me. They never did.
Also, if you preorder online, note that you’ll get a lot more stems in your flowers than if you go in and order and they pack it in front of you.

As someone with lifelong sleep problems and no knowledge about cannabis products, I needed a dispensary that could help me understand the best product for my situation. Thanks to MWC’s help, I’m sleeping a full eight hours every night without having to resort to sleeping pills or worse. I can’t stress enough how great the staff is at this location. There’s always a good selection: I have never left without finding something ideal to my own needs, and there is usually some kind of special offer that makes my medicine more affordable. If you live in the Capitol Hill area, or just want to sign up with a dispensary that provides truly excellent service, this is one to pay attention to.

It is very comfortable and welcoming. They answered all of my questions with patients and a smile. I didn’t get my card this summer because there was a product shortage. There is no more shortages!! When I went in last week, there were at least 15 different strains, hash, tinctures and lots of paraphernalia. I truly enjoy shopping there and, I will recommend my friends because they give you credit for recommendation!

This Dispensary is the best in the city, I highly recommend this place to any and everyone who would love to go. They have the best strains of marijuana and the best products in the city. Folks here are super patient when answering questions and I always appreciate their advice as I’m shopping around. Staff is kind and informed. Products are also A1 here. I frequently buy their shake because the quality is great and price is just within my range.
I came here to splurge a little bit before the new year. I used to purchase their disposable cartridges but stopped because the battery stopped working a couple days after I got my pen and I had to dispose good weed. Their menu is also misleading. The disposable cartridges are 0.3g and not 1/2g as advertised. I also purchased 2 pre-rolls and to my disappointing surprise, one of my cones was filled half way and wasn’t even twisted properly. Could’ve easily came loose and spilled in the bag. I was also charged an extra $17 for an e-cigarette/battery for my cartridge. This place is pretty pricey and do not offer good deals. It’s cool though. I only come out of convenience. The quality is always good and the staff is friendly for the most part but they will short you and you won’t realize it until you’re already gone.

Been getting my product from you guys for sometimes. This time my Green Crack was super super dry. You’ve been out for sometime so I was happy to see it was back but was surprised once I got home. You should have a discount rates for older, dry products. I did not enjoy my Green Crack.

Went here in January 2015. They were out of flowers at that time so I got some tinctures. They were good:) The next day I went back and they had three kind of flowers but they were all $25/gram. They only sold by the gram, so an ounce would be $700! I don’t know if they are having supply issues or maybe just trying to capitalize on the upper class vibe of barracks row, but these prices make me want to switch dispensaries. Also, while the other 2 disp.’s in DC have full menus with donation prices on their Leafly and website, the MWC does not keep up. great and knowledgeable staff, bad prices.

I’m a new patient at MWC and i just had my first visit a few weeks ago. I was kinda scared at first but it turned out to be pretty amazing experience. I was greated by a wonderful receptionist that clamed me down. Then when i was called in the back. I received a well and formative orientation about the dispensary and what they offer. The guy went over flowers, oil, edibles, and other smoke equipment that they offer. He thoroughly explained the different ways cannabis can help me. He also explain what strains will be good for me and which ones that wont work for me. Everybody at the dispensary was very friendly. And it helps that is so conveniently close to the metro and to my house. I recommend this place to anybody that has a medicinal card and what to receive a homie/ friendly experience

Great Service
ignore the outward appearance, act like you are going to the cell phone repair shop. The fragrant aroma will guide you up the stairs smile at the electronic door bell. Click, entrance granted. Be patient, show your D.C. Medical marijuana card. Sit down. The portal has opened they call your name. It is not a candy store but they sell edibles. The pot is top shelf no question. And don’t tell them it all smells the same.

I think this place is awesome with a good selection of Sativa and also alot of accessories. They have Indica and hybrid flowers also along with butter, oil, and wax and juice. I cant forget my knowledgeable #1 staff members.
I’ve been coming to MWC since the summer and have never been disappointed. Their flower is top quality and their cartridges are really solid. I have also purchased tinctures there, which are also great. Just keep in mind that MWC prices are more expensive compared to other dispensaries around town. The dispensary is small, so I’ve had to wait a decent amount of time in the waiting area a few times. Overall, it is a great place and everyone is super nice and knowledgable.
In DC, as I understand it, you can only visit the dispensary listed on your card. These were very helpful in getting me a doctor and a card. I can’t really compare much outside of price to others in the district. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about strains. Prices are high, there are never any strains under $20 per gram. They have trim if you want to save money, it’s terrible to smoke, but tolerable in a vaporizer and great to cook with. I may eventually jump through the hoops to change dispensaries to save money, but I’m happy with them for now.

As a first timer, I was intimidated. I was unsure of how the process went. My illness has many downs including speech and comprehension problems, but this staff made me feel comfortable before I made any purchase. I was at ease just enough to spit out my symptoms and was greatful to get results by trying out different flowers…it took me a while but I am learning slowly what helps me and what doesnt. The staff is more than okay with helping me figure out my way through the strains and I am more than okay with being the guinea pig this time around because the treatments can only help me get better not worse..unlike the pills I was given that made me sick..
This place is different….I just changed dispenseries and this place isn’t that bad. I didn’t know what to expect when I first came here but I’m glad i made the switch. The waiting room is neat. The selection is great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The presentations is nice. Plus there’s a Snoopy. I am a happy customer.
The staff there is quite helpful and rather friendly. Has a decent variety for how long they have been up and running and the legal restraints of dc. No wax, but they do have tinctures, keef, hash, and accesories.

So if you coming from quite far like did, get in the city traffic like it always is, drive around and find parking. MAKE SURE YOU IN THERE BEFORE THE LAST 15 MINS IF YOU A NEW PATIENT. Absolutely try the new edibles. They’re delicious and take you right where you need to go. A nice body high that’ll take your pain away. Worth the price of admission. You will love them!
I liked everything about the location. Selection, service…its all good. However, kinda pricey and no volume based discounting. However, i will be returning for the hard to find nuggets, wax…etc.
This place has completely changed my life. A year ago, I was having so much trouble coping with pain from chronic illness. While cannabis itself would have likely helped anyone, the staff here really helped me learn how to get to know my body and what strains I enjoy for relaxation vs. strains I can work on. They are knowledgable, friendly, and incredibly loyal to their customers. If you need medical cannabis in DC, I cannot recommend them enough!
