2. My only complaint about this place is their prices but they still are cheaper than Belmar! The quality of the bud is top notch! Some of the employees there act like there the most knowledgeable people in the world when it comes from Cannabis but the truth is somewhere in between. If you don’t mind top shelf prices for pretty good quality Cannabis then this is the place for you!

5. Very easy to get to and find. Just off Bellevue Way on Main St. Old Bellevue is really close and fun to walk around. Lots of chocolate and yummy cafes nearby. The staff, starting with Patrick at the front door, are professional and friendly. Every time I stop by, Patrick makes me feel both safe, and welcomed. Evan A was amazing, friendly and helpful and tailored a treat to the night I had planned. I wanted to be silly and watch Sharknado 3 and he recommended a very tasty chocolate chip cookie which was the perfect choice! I ended up having a really fun night! I WILL be back, hopefully, BEFORE Sharknado 4 comes out!

6. love this place, right in my neighbor and never even heard about it. I stopped by on the 4th and really need a good preroll to start the night of right. Patrick guided me to Phat Panda’s Blackberry Kush. Just what i need to enjoy the firework. thanks guys i will be back soon.

7. I’ve only been here one time. I may review again later but I am extremely pleased with the customer service. I purchased the JuJu Joint – Sweet and Sour Kush and a Peanut Butter Cookie. This was my first JuJu Joint. I got one after reading all the reviews on it. I like how small and discrete it is. I took a few puffs and it didn’t take long to feel its effects. The Sweet and Sour Kush is definitely a strand that can be used on a more day to day basis. It doesn’t leave you smelling like weed either. The Green Theory staff were very educational and friendly. Even the security guard took the time to answer questions. I believe the person helping me was named Rachel. She told me but I’m very bad with names. She described many of the products and was very patient with me. The atmosphere was very chill. No one was creepy. Buying pot was as normal as buying shoes at the mall. As I write this review the few puffs I took off the JuJu Joint are really kicking in. Did I mention they were reasonably priced as far as local retail pot shops? Anyways I would definitely recommend them as the local neighborhood pot shop.

9. I have been to Green Theory plenty of times now, sometimes a couple times a week usually during the mornings. They are an incredible location with parking very close to the building. Josh is the guard at the door everytime, he remembers names, and is professional and friendly. Most of the time I have been helped by Jason who is always friendly and helpful, and knows the products, pricing, etc. Their inventory is great, and the prices have become very on par with other stores despite the real estate and class of the store. And the store keeps getting better with design, inventory and pricing. Definitely would recommend it to anybody ever in the area! I’m smoking their Ocean Wax Pina Colada tonight! Thanks GT

    Very few choices, all VERY high prices and, once tested, very LOW quality…maybe due to the off-putting, plastic packaging that doesn’t quite say “fresh”…nice folks, but not going back until competition drives improved quality, lower prices…

15. I really wanted to love this place, especially since they seem to have cool
    events and grower meet and greets. But we found the service to be really
    odd aEUR” like they just wanted to get us out of there and be done with us. (We
    were only there for 10 minutes, and most of it was first time visit
    browsing, so it’s not like we were wasting their time.) On top of that, the
    budtender wouldn’t give us the discount that was advertised on Leafly,
    despite the fact that the special is *still* listed here several days
    later. I’m sure they get a lot of Bellevue repeat customers because of
    their location, but they’re going to have to work a lot harder (and not
    engage in false advertising of their specials) if they want to get repeat
    business away from customer service-focused dispensaries on the Eastside.

16. I have purchased from green-theory many times, recently I choose to get some buds from this location despite the late hour and several (closer I might add) other options available. After pulling up 10 minutes before closing, we pulled up and parked. We saw a silver car stalled and were unsure about what they were doing. As we walked up to the store, inside were two female employees, one waving us off. Usually I spend a few hundred a visit, (never less than a $100 and this can be verified by my account with them) Even though we knew exactly what we wanted ~$250 and would have been in and out before their ACTUAL closing time. Will not make the mistake of coming here while those two are working this shop. While not my #1 I will still shop at the spring district’s shop

17. This is my updated review on Green Theory in Bellevue. I have visited this store five times in the past two weeks and I’ve been extremely pleased, in and out quickly with FIRE! I’m still not accepting recommendations but have to say that carrying Gold Leaf Gardens and Gabriel is redemption! I’ve purchased Tangie and Mango by Gold Leaf Gardens and Lemon OG and Cookies and Cream by Gabriel, all of which were latest harvests and sticky goodness! Great job guys and gals will see you next week!

18. This is the best store I’ve been to yet! The staff is very knowledgeable and made my experience top of the notch, especially Evan, he went above and beyond to explain everything in great detail. 20. I’ve been here three times so far, purchasing pre-rolled joints by Monkey Grass Farms, Zoots shots, and a Rif vape pen. I received friendly and informative service and was greatly pleased with these products. Green Theory now offers price-matching, making it overwhelmingly the best choice for Eastside buyers.

38. Came in and met @Kevin today. Six foot plus tall Encyclopedia Britannica of cannabis brands and strains here in the PNW market share space. By all means has no intention today to picking up any flower however after speaking with this bud tender I knew his passion for the plant was just at the level to convince me that I would truly be missing out on some good tree for today after brainstorm sesh at the office.
    Besides killing it on the knowledge Kevin also helped me out as he could see that the very dim lit area was effecting my ability to make a wise decision after hear what extensive knowledge he knew as I once again came in with out any intention however with the specifics I told him the performance was still above par.

    Picked up some HAWAIIAN DUTCH on my initial OTP (out the package) inspection will follow soon

    Happy with my experience will for sure send people this way in addition spread the word at the facility about the staff and inventory here.

    Suggestions :
    Brighten up the place. Might have been the weather however it’s hard to see inside.

    Outside parking is a plus and easy to get to very clear and retail front has great curb appeal great modern looks not over done at all. No negative vibes off this place here, will be back

51. Disappointed to say the least. .Purchased a vaporizer that would not charge. Store deferred me to manufacturer, who requested a video of the product NOT working for which, if I am lucky enough to get a replacement, will take 2-4 weeks from WA state to WA state. Nice Christmas policy, eh? Also, the staff doesn’t get commission. Know how I know this? Because the short time I spent in there I had to hear about it. Hey, guys – if you don’t like your pay structure, please tell your boss, not the customer – we have our own problems. And smile to people over 30, please?

52. This is my go to shop on the Eastside. They have great products, and the tenders know their stuff. They treat you like family here.

54. prices are simply too high compared to competitors. I understand the need to make a profit, but compared to a nearby rec pot shop this place is just too expensive. I buy concentrates and flower, and brands and amounts I buy cost far more here than elsewhere. There is no location advantage, service advantage etc, so I see no reason for me to shop at green theory , until they at least try to compete.

55. I went into this local retail pot shop for my first time and for the most part had a good experience minus the pricing (not out the door price). When I went in, I didn’t have cash on hand and “Sean R” helped me and said that they accept card. My overall purchase (after state tax, local and excise tax) was $70.00. However, when I checked my bank to match my receipts when going through checks and balances, not only did THEY CHARGE $71.50 TO MY BANK (as an ATM fee, mind you and I did NOT use an ATM) but my bank charged me a $2.50 ATM BANK FEE. I was grateful that my bank had credited me back the $2.50 but WHAT THE HECK? The sales associate should have advised me that there would be fees associated with using a card (they as in GREEN THEORY) charged me $1.50 – again, my receipt shows a charge of $70.00.

    I would much rather do my shopping at Evergreen Market where the pricing is the “out the door” pricing and has taxes included vs. the bullishhhh that I experienced here. Below are receipts where I was at Evergreen Market.

56. Walked in a total Newb but within 5-10 minutes my mind was swimming with information overload. They took the time to explain everything to me and there was no rush, just take the time to decide.
    Besides I helped them with their door stickers as to get the bubbles out.

58. Awesome inventory and staff. Ned MJ patient, first time in a retail store. My interest are in the CO2 pure carts. Prices were not bad, but what hurts is the tax. My purchase got nipped another $50 just for tax. OUCH! WA needs to really makes this a bit fairer to patients who go through the legal process to use as medicine on a daily bases and get that reduced or mulled out. GT is a great store, but look forward to the day the states stops ripping off patients who use as an alternative to RX poisons. I had look into another retail store, but they want to do with working with MMJ patients.

59. I’ve been into Green Theory a few times now. For a while, it was the only recreational shop in Bellevue that I knew about; I recently learned of another store that just opened nearby, but their selection is still fairly small, as they are just getting started. I’m actually excited to see more stores opening up in the area, and hope that this is only the beginning. As for Green Theory, every interaction I’ve had has been nothing but friendly and professional, especially with those who recognize me just from my few visits thus far. I’ve only sampled a few items, but those that I have were fairly high quality; there was once where the flowers ended up being rather dry once I opened the sealed package, but that’s not really on them as much as it is the grower/distributor. The last couple of times I went in looking for something specific, and they were out of stock both times, but they were quick to suggest other good items in the same price range, which I liked. I’ve also noticed that the store seems to get busier every time I go in, which is a good sign. Yes, the prices are fairly high, but that’s to be expected with some of the early stores, especially with little competition yet to help bring prices down. Currently, the prices are such that I can’t really make regular visits, but once they start dropping, I’ll probably be around more often. The store itself is very clean and professional-looking, which is nice, because I feel like I’m in a completely legitimate business the whole time, which I should. I would definitely recommend visiting the store, though I would also recommend checking out any other stores that might be close by, just to get an idea of what’s available out there. Hopefully this store and others like it will soon herald the coming of a new age in the use of recreational marijuana.

61. I really love the Factoria green-theory location for a lot of reasons. They have a huge selection, the quality and options are awesome,and the deals are the best! I make a point to come to this shop, which is 15 to 20 minutes out of my way, because of how much I love Kelly and RJ. Every time I walk in the door and see Kelly she just puts a smile on my face instantly. And RJ has never steered me wrong and is always so on point with his recommendations and reviews. The staff can make or break anyone’s expierence!!

It’s been awhile since I have been back to this shop ( I don’t even live anyway close). Yet, it made me happy to see a familiar face, Patrick has to be my all time favorite budtender. Not only does he always pick out the perfect strain for me, but he lets me know he cares. Too many butenders just push the product on you without even listening to what you want, just whats the special of the day :(. I’m glad Green-theory has keep such a good budtender around. 65. There are so many reasons why Green Theory rocks, you will have to see for yourself to truly get the awesomeness. The best thing about GT though, is the staff.

    The staff is amazing, they are super friendly, remember you, and they really know their stuff. You can describe what you want, then what you have had with a similar effect, and not once have these guys failed to amaze me with fantastic recommendations on new strains. They have opened my eyes to a fabulous world, and have made me excited to try strains, with no fear of disappointment. Their selection in amazing, with RoyalTree, MiddleFork, Strawberry Cough, and more, Gabriel, good wax selection, tons of edibles, on and on and on.

67. I have been coming to green theory for a couple of months now and have no need to shop anywhere else! They have everything from wax to edibles, and some of the most friendly staff ever. Daniel is definitely one of the more knowledgeable bud tenders but they all are pretty great at answering any hard questions I have when I am coming in. I went to Green Theory when it first opened and and to this day it is still my favorite go-to pot shop around. The staff is great, the selections continue to increase and grow in quality. Prices are competitive as they are constantly having great deals which allow the bargain smoker to still enjoy higher quality products. This shop definitely exceeds standards and continues to be innovative, well thought out and executed within the community. So that even your average casual smoker can learn and enjoy this new and wonderful lifestyle that is now legal. Though the prices aren’t the most competitive in the greater Seattle area, the quality of their products can be counted on, and the frequently available discounts provide extra incentive to shop with them.

88. Best shop in the state–no question. Soon as you walk in you notice the professional atmosphere and don’t feel like you’re anywhere shady. Store selection is incredibly varied and prices are best I’ve found and as competitive as anywhere else. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well–Ari in particular is super helpful and really knows his stuff; he gave me great recommendations on both flower and cartridges.

92. Visited this past weekend during their opening. Prices and strains were clearly displayed on screen behind the counter so that was nice. However, everything in the store was supposed to be 30% off. I asked the attendant I was speaking to see some of the $20 1/8ths from Monkey Grass Farms. I selected 3 of those and one $14 preroll. So without any discount I should have been sitting at $74. Somehow I ended up paying $72. I’m not the type of person to make a scene or bring things up in person so I just took the loss and called it a day. But it was definitely discouraging to pay full price when everything was supposed to be on sale for the opening. The attendant just seemed to be annoyed by my presence. Nice shop, different products, poor service and I’m pretty sure anyone else would be pretty mad about not saving the $22. Probably won’t be back, especially since I can’t be certain that their sale prices will be honored in the future.

Its at cannabis Starbucks and it was packed just like a Starbucks. The selection was amazing. I picked up the 2 grams for blue dream and I loved it. Came in today for the first time and experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a dispensary in over 5 years of purchasing medical and recreational cannabis in Washington and Oregon. Drove in all the way from UW and was told by the doorman, a young hispanic male, that my Nevada driver’s license is a fake because the “colors around my picture are a little weird”? This is interesting to note and I will contact my local DMV to let them know that the license they issued me is a fake. He then asks if I have a passport which I did not as who carries around a passport everywhere they go? I was just going to leave but had spent almost an hour to get to Bellevue so I asked him if there was a manager or someone else who was trained to take a look at my ID; To which he flippantly replies that I “could’ve gone all the way back to Seattle to get my passport in the time that I was arguing with him”. After asking for a manager repeatedly and being denied, he reluctantly brought over a manager who asked if she could take my ID for further examination, to which I agreed. 5-10 minutes later, manager never returns to address me but sends the bouncer-doorman to say the exact same thing that he felt “uncomfortable” letting me in without a passport. 113. I can always tell upon entering if a location feels clean or not. I could tell this store was very clean and well kept.

     The staff was friendly and greeted me with smiles. A woman budtender (I didn’t catch her name) helped me find what I was looking for and helped me get the most bang for my buck within the budget I was willing to spend. I ended up walking out with my traditional Northern Lights (which came in an amazing glass jar) and some Plushberry.

I was relieved to see they still have some topshelf growers like FireBros and Royal Tree but their selection seems mostly dominated by NWCS. 128. Just attended Green Theory’s grand opening in Factoria. I had visited their other location in Bellevue, but hated the parking. But it is always fun to visit a new neighborhood store. So I gave it a look over.

     I hope Green Theory will take my comments as helpful suggestions, if they truly want to succeed in the new location. I am hoping they do.

     First, the shelves were understandably somewhat barren. Hey, they just moved in! The bud tenders were polite, and helpful. The parking is better.

     It is the price gouging that pisses me off. Their online prices, and in store prices do NOT include sales/cannabis taxes. So a 15 dollar gram is 22 dollars when you get the bill. A 56 dollar eighth is really 80 dollars.

     This is inexcusable.

     I have much better choices in neighborhood shops in the area who are not looking to gouge me.

     Not going back until they change their advertised pricing policies.

     It is a shame.

180. Really great products, large selection. I’ve been here a lot, and would suggest NOT going mid day so you can avoid the staff working around that time. Every time i’ve been in between 12 and 4pm, i’ve only had unpleasant experiences. I’ve had one employee give me a good experience during these hours. (after like 5pm the staff is really awesome, never had a bad experience with the night crew). Most of them are just plain rude, and act as if they have absolutely no interest in anything besides getting you out of their store. Asking them questions about certain strains or products is clearly an inconvenience to most of the staff i’ve encountered because they would much rather be talking to one another, which on multiple occasions they will be “helping” me while having a conversation with their coworker, then ask me what i just said when i ask about a strain or company’s products followed by the most generic response you could think of.

     Anyways, I have had awesome experiences at night time going there and have had many lengthy conversations and have recieved amazing service from just about all of the staff i have been helped by.

     I don’t mean to sound like i’m whining with this rant, but going in today further validated what I have said and was enough for me to actually create this account and make this review.

The two staff members who assisted me, Sean and David, we incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. David recommended me a few varieties of cannabis hash oil to choose from and really showed his knowledge and resourcefulness about the product, answering any and all questions I had. Sean showed me the benefits of all the cartridges that were offered and I was able to make my selection without feeling pressured. Would absolutely recommend this store and I plan on returning to this store if all the staff members show the same aptitude for cannabis sales that Sean and David have.

185. I’ve visited several recreational dispensaries over the past six months. They vary considerably in availability of products, ambiance and staff. Rather than negatively review the establishments which I didn’t care for, I have chosen to 5 star the one shop where I have found an excellent selection of quality products, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a decidedly warm, comfortable, classy environment. Green Theory is ALL that, EVERY time I have stopped by. Initially the donation prices were a little kinky but that has been ironed out with a price match guarantee. Visit and you can do the happy dance too!

There are more recreational stores closer to my work, but I choose to go here because not only for the quality of the product, but the prices and service too. 233. I’ve come to this store a few times since it has opened. The people who work here are phenomenal. They’re polite and knowledgeable about their product. The daily price is inconsistent — I purchased a Juju Joint for $68 on Monday and they were $90 on Friday. Patrons claim the price is due to other pot shops selling for more, but the nearest pot shop (10 miles) is selling their same quality stock for much lower ($60 with tax). They also don’t have too much in the way of selection, though that may change in the next few weeks. I will update this review periodically as I check in on this cannabis boutique.

234. I really like this store 🙂 everyone was soooo friendly, even the door guy was nice. His name was Patrick and he took the time to show me around. I didn’t like him staring at my ID, but i guess it’s policy. I loved the large selections and the store looks like a “Weed Starbucks”. I will be visiting again, thanks you guys.

235. My go-to shop at this point. Great staff and oil prices. This place hits that spot between professionalism and friendliness that a lot of smaller, “shadier” places don’t so it’s always been a nice experience. All I buy is oil and the staff has always been really eager to talk over what they have and recommendations. Ari in particular has been a big help in what to pick up. Great Xtracted prices too. Check these guys out.

238. The first thing you notice walking in to Green Theory is simply how classy/up scale the place feels. It makes it feel much more like a legitimate business (especially when compared with the vibe you get at most of the other dispensaries I’ve been to). Their selection is impressive, and they have something for literally every level of user, from first timers, to long time veterans. They also have a rotating selection of daily deals/discounts that can be a really good deals! So if you’re looking for a classy dispensary with a great selection of products to choose from, then I “highly” recommend checking them out.

239. So many fake reviews here….lame. Went back for a 3rd time, guy didn’t know anything about their concentrates. Couldn’t even bother to read the labels himself. The fake reviews are pathetic though.

She was very helpful in educating me on all the options. All around great experience. Highly recommend KoF TriCone!

243. While this shop does (most of the time) have nice quality flowers, the prices (even when discounted) are still higher than other places! The shop itself is larger compared to other places, but due to that not as intimate. There are other stores on the east side such as (Issaquah Cannabis Co.) that have a MUCH larger strain selection of top-shelf product at a warranted price!

244. I came into this shop for the first time recently and its the first cannabis shop I’ve been to so I was a little nervous. I liked the vibe that the whole place gave off in general and the employees all seemed happy to help you with whatever it was you needed. I worked with Daniel on what I wanted and learned a lot about different kinds of strains and what to get for what you want. Daniel had a lot of knowledge to offer on the product and made me feel at home while inside the shop. Would definitely recommend coming back just because of that experience! Customer service is very important in this industry so that you know what you’re getting, (highly) recommend this shop and their employees.

245. The quality of the flower was great, but WAY too expensive. Almost $40 for a gram. Additionally, while the greeter was great, the person helping us was not well versed on the specifics of the product. I felt like I was educating him.

249. I love this store. Out of the ones I’ve been to in the Seattle area, it’s the nicest, most comfortable, largest selection, and most knowledgeable staff. I cannot recommend this place enough.
