1. While I do wish Rise sold from every approved grower, I can say quality + selection is based on those companies. I’ve aEUR~grown’ to love the staff, their knowledge & willingness to help & learn right along with me. My only negative comment is, in retrospect, my aEUR~pharmacist appt’ left a LOT of info out that could’ve saved me a lot of time, money, & grief. Simply explaining at length the differences between all the products & offering cost/benefit info. I just starting using concentrates 6 months later, because I initially had no idea of the overall value. As a patient, ask tons of questions. Otherwise, every experience has been as it should & feels above n beyond at times.

3. RISE in Erie has service better than anything I imagined. I’m a newbie in MJA & let’s suffice to say I’m over 50 now. I also have acquaintances who’ve smoked for more years than I’ve been around.

   Those commenting prices at Rise are high vs street, I’d love to know where you buy because w/friends from every walk of life & everyone has said the leaf is slightly more, but not much, & with buying Rise YOU KNOW what you’re getting. I’d rather be buying it here than off the streets.
   The staff is just amazingly unreal. I can ask anything! I’ve pretty much had experience at this point with most everyone & I swear I want to take them all home with me!

   Everyone there there is VERY WELL professionally trained. They KNOW how to relate to everyone for every reason. Please don’t assume because someone is younger than you that they’re not able to relate. They are well trained & fully understand the medical field & needs.

   Let’s not forget Rise is being HIGHLY watched, judged & scrutinized because of the newness in PA. They make me not only feel safe coming & going but they have ALWAYS steered perfectly for what my needs are.

   Clean, efficient and extremely excellent customer service.

   My only complaint is the building location. I don’t want to face a winter waiting outdoors in snow so they can take patients 1 at a timeA (PA LAW) nor can I even begin to walk from the rear parking so the 3 handicapped spaces are often not enough. A not so ADA friendly front entrance that they are working on getting fixed but those stairs are very difficult & I’m glad they’re putting up rails.

   All in all, especially working with a state that really is FAR behind the times, RISE & EVERY worker there is top of the line in service, quality & safety. I love this place!

   BTW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK NOW!

4. Great facility! Extremely knowledgeable staff with a good variety of products that are great quality but expensive but that is the same statewide. They do have their own brand that I have only seen here and are a bit cheaper with equal or better quality. I will be a repeat customer.

5. The staff is always polite and attentive, and knowledgeable. As for product, the quality is there on everything I tried.
   Now for The prices, they are out of control monopoly style high prices. Some of The flower prices are getting better due to competition on the street. These clinics are supposed to help stop street drugs, not charge more than. Same oils are cheaper by 20$ other places GTI owns, like Chicago. 1 oil strain is $70 here per 1/2g and 45 per 1g in CA. competition is needed badly.

7. Matt the manager is a shady liar.
   He lets his staff have product first pick and he even lets employees take from patient orders. The staff trump any patient when it comes to product availability! Unprofessional staff, customer service is an unknown term to them. He only thing this place is good for is an RX sticker for your pot….other than that, if you can go to another dispensary then you probably should. Unfortunately, they are the closest place under 2hr 15mins for me!

10. Rise is perfect! Anytime I need something, I got it!! Anytime I have a question, they’re there! Rise is also in a very good spot! My first day there was confusing, but after the first day, it was awesome! Everyone’s like family there!

12. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, good variety. Have had problems with cartridges breaking after 1 or 2 uses. My name was taken down twice with my number and nothing was ever done which is very upsetting with the cost of cartridges.

13. Even though outstanding quality, service, and atmosphere exists there is the issue of cost. As for someone who suffers chronic pain issues, my use is a lot to stay ahead of the pain. With that being said i have mentioned this to the very informative staff and the answer seems to be the same. “Contact your state representative” or “we have smaller amounts”. As to the first response lets be real, we are very fortunate to have this in PA, but there hands are tied to the costs. As to the 2nd answer less cost more when you use as much as i do ??? All in all though i am grateful to be able to get this here with the vast amount of research behind it vs the street where god only knows what your getting. The staff is great !!!

14. My visit to Rise Erie was very pleasant. Lizzie the pharmacist was great and very informative. The budtenders were very good at their jobs as well. I will be returning to this site

Thankful that they’ve shown such great care and compassion when helping me to find the strains that best fit my needs; in person or on the phone. When dealing with serious medical issues I’m appreciative to have these types of people and products available to enhance my quality of life! Thanks Rise!

    Emily is a great budtender.
    As time passes will have more product, they were a little short on my visit. You might call ahead to see if a delivery has been made.
    I believe they are now closed on Mondays, call.
    Prices will get better as things get rolling.

21. I have been coming here since July of 2018. I have nothing but great things to express about each and every one of the staff there. I continue to see huge benefits specifically in the CBD. I’ve thought I’ve tried it all, then…..well Zach, one of the newer budtenders called me over, (as I was next)I asked him about the strain he was speaking to the patient before me about. He said you should try this Mount Nittany Haze. It’s a great price, I’ve heard good things. I did and let me tell you what! wow! by far one of the best ones yet I can’t believe it, overall just feel on top of the world. It just gets better and better and love love love my Harlequin CBD cartridge and the wife flower is amazing. Thanks again you guys for all you do!!!!! It is beyond appreciated. Leslie Hower

22. Staff is great. Very comfortable and secure atmosphere. As for the flower, it was premature, not cured very well. That being said, I do understand that it was a bit of a rush to get product out to dispensaries, and I expected lesser quality flower for an inflated price 2x what street prices are(and thats for quality bud). Will I still buy bud at Rise? Yes. As long as they can offer a few products at $10-12/gr.
    Now, as for extracts(what I really need, medically) the prices are absolutly insane. On the street, quality wax is $30/gr. Rise charges $60+ for just a 1/2gr for extracts.
    I love the place…but the patients need better prices.

23. I love this dispensary very nice people. But these prices between Prime wellness, and Ilerra are outrageous. If you are trying to compete you arent doing a great job. I would never pay $65 for a 1/8 ounce of dry leaf. $50 would be the highest i go. The only company giving $40-$50 for 1/8 is Terrapin station. They are great. They could get all my business. Its just a shame that there is so much taxing going on. Especially when places like Cleveland are selling stuff for $35-$40 for 1/8. PA has been waiting years for medicinal marijuana. And it’s just a shame to see its being used just like any other medicine. To make money, instead of helping someone. If prices went down it be way better. But I know how it is.

24. As you can see from all my reviews, I like to think of myself as a cannabis conneisseur dY~
    And after being to over 50 dispensaries nation wise Rise Erie falls into the top 10 easily.
    Here’s why you should continuously being your business back to Rise:
    a. Insanely fast wait time
    b. Will hold products for patients
    c. Cheapest Moxie wax prices in the area by 20%
    d. A good selection
    e. Sweet, caring, and educated staff

    If you don’t like Rise or have had any problems here, you aren’t doing it right. We all know what the next nearest option is and this place puts that one to shame.

26. On most days if you dont have at least $50-60 you can not get anything from here. Not to mention the dry leaf is so dry it all crumbles to dust when you touch it. You call them, have them hold product get there and nothing is held for you. This has happened more than a handful of times and and to multiple people. It’s just a shame this is the only dispensary in erie county. They are getting rich selling premature and bone dry bud for extreme top dollar and its flying off the shelves…smh

    Hi Emily. I having been a patient since opening day. I muddled through my own research to find what would work for me and i was not doing a good job of it either. For the last 6-7 months i have been confused, and frustrated. Until you helped me. Not one person took as much time with me as you did. You helped me understand when to use what and which strain would help me best. Thank you so much for always being so kind, incredibly helpful and patient!!!

28. Professional and efficient staff. Clean and orderly facility.

    Inventory issues are discouraging. There won’t be a lot of consistency some categories of products available from visit to visit.

    These products are not cheap to purchase. Buying the products sight unseen is risky at best. There does not seem to be an easy way to know you’re not wasting your money when you have to buy a different product every visit.

    I can see that there will be a swift decline in customer service once the dispensary is more established or until a retail competitor is open for business.

    The attitude is s little lax here. It’s also apparent that the average employee age is 22. How can they possibly work for relating to older clients? Let’s not congregate and text all day. Adulting is real. Let’s study the products and learn some social skills.

    It’s our money kids. We’re not coming there to flatter you. You’re there to help people and take this seriously or leave.

29. After a 6 month visit to rise, I give them a thumbs up for the first dispensary in Erie. From Matthew the manager, Jason our pharmacist, security guards, and every professional bud tender that my wife and I have had the pleasure to meet has been great. The atmosphere is awesome, and the whole staff if knowledgeable and willing to help with all your questions. As for the product and prices, they are very competitive. The range of price and quality for the dry leaf is as expected. The extracts may be high price to some, but the quality of the extracts are superior to any street products. You get what you pay for. It appears to me that rise is trying its best to serve this community with the best product, professional service, and fair prices that fit the patients needs. Keep up the good work Rise and welcome to our community.

30. Rise Erie & the people are first rate, can not say enough good about them, however I can say nothing good about Terrapin flower products. I have tried their product 4 times & it is the worst. So dry you can not even handle it, it just crumbles. Also it is not very well trimmed. Waste of time & money. The other suppliers that I have tried are fabulous. The only other gripe I have is I wish they would get more flower with higher THC levels like they have a couple of times. I missed the flower they had twice that was in the 30’s for THC, I did not know they would hold it until u got there.

33. The Rise Erie staff was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They gave gentle guidance and addressed all of my concerns and questions. They made me feel as if I had freedom to make informed choices for my budget, dosage and consumption methods. All the suggestions that were made were spot on. Great experience.

Wow…..just like going into a small prison (real nice)…nothing like making ya feel like your buying explosives when your trying to get medication……the only door is on a main street so nobody can hide their status as a card holder (thanks, my friends appreciate you letting them know I have the goods), and their prices are double what the stuff is on the street, and not even as high of quality. Oh, and don’t forget they only take cash, no cards. But great news, they offer a ATM you can use for a fee. I should also mention there is no offer of discount for new customers, no offer of discount for having almost no pricing choices….it’s either $60-80 per 500mg vape tip……..WHAT A SCAM !!!!!
    Buy your meds from your friends couch…..it’ll be higher quality and half the price. DON”T fall victim to the fleecing of medical marijuana patients in PA !!!

36. Hands down the nicest, most helpful people working here. I’ve been to a couple other dispensaries in the PA area so I can attest to this. I always leave feeling so good. A particular shout out to Megan! She is the absolute sweetest. Clean, lots of product to choose from and pleasant people to work with. What more can I ask for?

45. People that work here are good people knowledgeable friendly.. my gripe is I get text on new shipments I get there and there sold out .almost every time .. I think they should look into purchasing more of what people want so everyone can buy what they want not settling for something else

46. The Rise & staff are great..no complaints..Very low marks for keeping product list updated..keep checking supply list many times a day.. When you live far you can’t go everyday to check what came in..and when the better product does come in..some individuals purchase the whole shipment of the better product..

47. Really chill and relaxed environment. Pretty decent selection on products when they have it in. Supply goes fast tho. But its my main spot to pick up.

48. RISE was such a great first dispensary experience! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly–they explained each of the cannabis consumption methods to me so I could understand how the products worked and how they would alleviate my symptoms. I will definitely be back soon!

49. I couldn’t say enough about the staff at Rise Erie. They always go above and beyond to try to help their patients.

    They send out a text message when new products arrive, which I appreciate as well. If I happen to get the text message when I’m at work, I am able to call the store and ask them to hold a product for me until the end of the day. From what I see on online PA medical marijuana support groups, a lot of dispensaries won’t hold products for patients at all. Wait times at Rise Erie are always quick for me, so I know I can get in and out.

    For those complaining about prices of products- I encourage you to take a look at the price all over Pennsylvania. Rise Erie has standard prices comparable to the rest of the state. You must also consider the expense that goes into growing, processing and packaging SAFE and QUALITY products that meet strict standards in order to be dispensed in Pennsylvania. Of course it would be cheaper to purchase marijuana from the streets, but that defeats the purpose of the legitimate medical marijuana program that so many have worked so hard to establish. I would personally rather pay more money to LEGALLY obtain clean marijuana products from a dispensary.

    My only complaint with the program right now is the wasteful packaging (again, not the dispensary’s fault…..). To reduce my waste, I reuse my exit bag for each visit.

    I for one am glad that we have a dispensary in Erie. I cant imagine the time and energy that went into being one of the first dispensaries open in the state- Thank you to the Rise team for all you do for us!

51. Prices are ridiculous. Enjoy not having any competition while it lasts. Gouging doesn’t pay well in the long run.
