3. I have loyally frequented this dispensary for over three years now. The quality of the bud here just can’t be beat! Everything comes packaged in cute little glass jars, and every 10 jars you return to the shop gets you $5 off you next purchase. I appreciate both the focus on sustainability and the loyalty program! Though not the absolute cheapest shop around, there are always affordable options that are a pleasure to smoke. This lovely little shop is definitely worth checking out.

19. Extremely overpriced! You have to pay extra for a bag that has a cheap lock and key so you can walk out the door.

    The product was decent, not the best. I felt like I was paying more for a pretty jar with pretty looking buds that didn’t have any effectiveness for the THC content. Not worth going back.

20. This is one of my favorite shops. Last time I was in I had some specific questions about some CBD options, and Lupe was incredibly patient and shared some really helpful information.

    Lupe also just seemed to be a truly caring budtender. He mentioned a really potent CBD product that he’s bought for his mom and her pain management, but mentioned that despite wanting to get it for himself, chooses to go with a more widely availabe product so that anyone who needed the medicine at that dosage would be able to get it. He said he hated the idea of not having inventory for someone who really needed it, and was willing to find something else while supply was short.

    I was stunned. He clearly cares about providing the best service to the customers, and really believes in the products.

    On top of that, he was super patient, listened carefully, and then made great recommendations for me.

    It wasn’t my first time in Gorge Greenery, and every time and every budtender has been just as great as Lupe.

    Great shop.

21. This shop has *probably* the best products in Hood River, however they have a strange and inconsistent procedure that really bothered me.

    I don’t know if this is a Hood River County/City regulation, but according to Gorge Greenery you cannot leave their store without your product in a bag.

    Okay, fair enough.

    And the bag they give you is this pretty nice zipper bag with a lock, clearly designed to be child/tamper proof.

    But, the first time I visited and this was explained to me, I was charged for that bag without being notified. Admittedly, it was an additional $1 charge. But it’s not a very good business practice to simply add a charge without first notifying the customer of the additional charge right? Of course, I was told that if I brought back the bag and product jar that they would “start a punch card for me.” Uh, thanks…

    Yet, I went back a second time (without the first bag I was given), however this time they didn’t charge me for the bag, but still insisted that they “have” to give me the special bag.

    And then the third and last time I visited, they didn’t give me a bag at all, and made no mention of it.

    I’ve visited other stores in Hood River, and other Oregon stores as well, not sure why they do this, but insisting that the bag is necessary because of “regulations”, and then charging for it without notifying the customer, and the subsequent inconsistency of that policy is just weird.

22. I visited this dispensary for a recreational sale, and as a stop while driving back to Portland area. This was the first dispensary I visited, and I hadn’t smoked in over 20 years. I felt like a total newb, trying to get back in the game. This store really amazed me! They were very friendly, helpful, knowledge, and professional. The store itself was very clean and inviting. I asked tons of questions, and ended up buying a PAX-2 vaporizer along with the bud. The PAX is absolutely amazing, and I’m very thankful for all of the guidance I received. I will definitely be back again. Thank you GG – you rock!!!

Plus 5$ off the herb as well. Great product even greater deal than any where and talk about a run down on the entire functionality of it a huge thanks to Jake and the G. G. crew.

32. This one is by far the best dispensary I ever walked in.

    The variety of products is amazing and the quality as well. Tried a couple different products and loved all of them. Staff is super nice and well knowledge about their products. I definitely recommend this dispensary. Really clean and bright place. Prices just like any other good dispensary around Oregon.

I have tried various strains and Gorge Greenery always has top notch from the taste to the high and never over price their items like some others do. 36. Bought a 1/2 g of c02 oil. I noticed it had a leak, which happens occasionally. I called and they immediately offered an exchange.

37. A while back this was the first dispensary I had gone to. Now that I have been to quite a few I can say that this will probably always be my favorite for many reasons. High quality flower, knowledgable staff and the setup/decor is beautiful. If you haven’t been here you are for sure missing out!

42. Visiting my Mom in Hood River for the Holiday’s and she brought me here. So glad she did, because this shop is incredible! From the interior decor to the high quality flowers, and everything in between, this spot is a must-visit if you are in the area.

    I picked up a new Pop Naturals White Widow cartridge/pen, a couple (very high-THC) pre-rolls, and a couple CBD honey sticks. Not disappointed with any of my choices!

    I can’t say enough good things about this dispensary! Only thing I would add would be a small freebie (pre-roll or edible) for first time OMMP cardholders. 😉 Thanks again Jake and staff!

    Cesar hosted a cannabis forum last night, very informative and professional. The biggest reason for me to patronize this shop is they promote organic and pesticide free smoke.

46. They have the BEST flower around. The Durban Poison is my favorite. Top shelf but you get what you pay for! The store is beautiful and comfortable and like a normal shopping experience. This is my spot when I come through Hood River.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and has the true intent to help you pick the strain that is perfect for your need and the strains to pick from are of high quality and very diverse. You can tell the owners have been meticulous and focused on making sure that the choices they have made from decor to logo to product are ones that not only they can be proud of but their customers can be proud of too! 56. My favorite new dispensary in Hood River. Very inviting and helpful. It’s a unique spot that allows anyone in the front room where they have a good selection of pipes and other paraphernalia. They are very “green” in that there is no plastic and all their bud is tested for pesticides. Would HIGHLY recommend.

58. I would like to thank the crew at GG! I had some issues with a vape cartridge and just wanted to come in and figure out if I was doing something wrong, and for some tips. They replaced the cartridge, no questions asked, no charge! I seriously appreciate all their help and generosity! Gorge Greenery is DEFINITELY the premier shop in the Gorge!!

59. As a person dealing with chronic pain i often struggle to find anyway to manage my overall pain and inflammation, let alone treat a specific localized area of pain. I was able to tell my story. I was listened to. I was respected. I felt very comfortable, and not at all pressured to buy anything, as i was being introduced to many new options for managing my specific pain and inflammation issues. I felt like educating me was just as important as finding the right thing – if not more important. In the end what i left with was a pain balm. What i returned with was a huge smile and a sincere thank you for helping me choose a product that when applied that very first night, gave me something i hadn’t felt in five years. i was pain free. What an amazing and healthful alternative. I cannot thank you enough. My hat’s off to an amazing staff – creating an incredible environment for healing, health and happiness.

64. Okay, this is only the 2nd dispensary I’ve been to but it will certainly be one that I will always remember. The staff, extremely welcoming and educated. The store, perfectly professional and quaint. You cannot drive through this town without visiting them and experiencing the laid-back Oregonian culture this store provides. Seriously, go out of your way to visit them.

I also had to watch REC customers come in an get taken care of while I had to wait for the medical patient in front of me to finish their order, half of my visit was spent waiting in line. I was given a free pre roll for my first visit (ya!) but one puff and I threw it out! Harshest stuff I have had in years.

It is very apparent the folks running this shop really care about their customers and the pot they sell which, incidentally, is Amazing!!! Some of the cleanest burning and highest (pun intended) quality herb to be had in OR. Definitely my new go-to spot.
