We are a state-licensed boutique-style medical marijuana dispensary located conveniently off of Northern Ave and Loop-101 in the west valley. Honestly what can I say this is my favorite dispensary in the valley, the flower is fire even the 20 dollar pre pack. The concentrate is on point. Staff is amazing with working with online orders. They really take care of there patients and this why I will be back again and again. Only down side is the old man security guard has put people in front of me to get meds but I’m always medicated so it didn’t bother me those times.

This was my first time ever in a dispensary. My friend brought since I’m new to the whole dispensary world. They were super friendly and helpful. One of their employees was really helpful and recommended some great stuff. He knew it was my first and took time to help us out rather than being pushy and rushing.

I’ve been going to pondarosa for about a little over three months since relocating and I am happy they moved near me. I’ve tried flower from all shelfs and I can honestly say the nug structure is on point the trim is on point and the taste is by far some of the best you will taste. now this can’t be voted the top 2 dispensary in ARIZONA for no reason there in it for the passion and love no dought. and the canamo concentrate is super terpy if they have the sweethearts crumble in ever agine . witch would be cool if they came out with a sweethearts box special for Valentine’s day. needless to say I can’t refer a strain of flower because you will know witch one is calling for you. with a little help from some of the best staff in the bizz. shout out to the whole canamo crew and no I do not work here and this is not a fake review

My evaluation as a multi generational grower, mid level distributor and one of the last remaining hash importers:
Friendliest staff. Positive attitudes. Not a fan of the product at all. Literally everything they grow has an external (in the plant fiber not the resin) smell. The strains I got had an odd enough flavor as is. Weird Lime perfume from OG would have been passable but the sugar free chocolate that every terrain shares was unbearable. Donated that bud to charity.
I know why growers use this commercial fish emulsion product, it makes chlorophyll smell chocolatey. Only in the local white market would this be considered a good trait rather… Please pass this on to the growers: that nasty brownie flavor is holding everything back.
PS that Orange whatever smells nothing like Durban Poison as my budtender claimed, it smells like a specific bottled product from the grow store. There are entire dispensaries that smells exactly like that. Nothing to do with Cannabis, its a product, dude.

They are always so quick to get you back, I have always had exceptional staff (except for once) and Leave pretty satisfied! I was quite floored with the quality of the pre packaged 8th and for 20$ you really can’t go wrong. When I went in there was some forbidden fruit on the counter and after the smell I had to pick up a gram to try… it has this bomb fruity almost tropical fruit type smell but with a red tint to it. Once you spark it it’s got a piny taste and requires little to feel relief. I gravitate to this store for the quality and convenience.
This dispensary is how every shop should be ran. They have great meds at affordable prices and the staff is super chill. We appreciate the love and quality.

I’ve been coming here since this location opened and I have to say they have some of the best flower and concentrate in town and the pricing is also good. They even offer you beverages when you come in all time. Also I really like that they added online ordering recently! Plus the bud tenders are really knowledgeable of all products and they don’t know the answer someone there will!

I’ve been to 5 different dispensaries in the west valley and they are all good to varying degrees but Releaf is by FAR the best of the best. I had read about a stain called Chem Dawg and found that was available at Ponderosa Releaf so I drove to Peoria to score a little bit to check out.
My budtender was great, actually better than great. The atmosphere is what you would expect at a pot shop but you notice that they don’t have 50 – 100 strains. But you don’t need a big seletion because their product is really medical grade. I think they have found the absolute best stains and they stick to what they know is good.
You ever look at pictures of bud online or in Hightimes and see those fine little white hairs growing on the bud? I had never seen that on anything I had purchased at any dispensary until I stopped in at Releaf. My buds were fresh and sticky to the touch – always a good sign when it’s like that. Anyway, I really recommend not only this dispensary but the Chem Dawg.
One last thing – I picked up a couple of PURA Earth cartridges that are excellent. After a couple of hits from PURA Earth vapes, I knew that I had wasted a lot of money on inferior cartridges from other shops.

weed is great. but there was a experience that i had. flower is great but budtender skimmped me and 2 8ths that I had bought during the super bowl deal. I noticed the budtender didn’t show me the weight of the 8th nor did he show me it was an 8th after he weighed it. Just handed to me and seemed sketched. so as always I go home and weigh my medicine. and one was 3.2 the other one was 3.3. not a biggy but its still wrong. I’ve never been finessed by a dispensary till that time loll. you guys should double check with your guest and makesure both budtender and guest are on the same page. I was definitely shocked to hear that they were closer to me than Maricopa. My first time here was very pleasant. The staff were all knowledgeable and professional. I recognized a couple familiar faces. I picked up some Green Crack (Outsourced) and some Grateful Dead (House Grown). Both phenomenal strains but the crown goes to Grateful Dead. Great job guys! I have been a fan of Canamo since I started dabbing 2 years ago, it was cool visiting the place it’s from.
Lisa (I think that was her name) helped me out before even making the drive by letting me know they will accept my paper driver’s license. And she was very professional, sweet, and polite.

I’m satisfied with the results. I got 4 half grams; White Sumo (which is the strain Wookies), Sour Double, Sweethearts, and Grateful Dead. Definitely pleased.
Strains like this make me sad I’m leaving the state for good in 9 days.
Anyways, come to Ponderosa Releaf , you’ll feel right at home and you’ll be happy with the strain variety they have. I can only speak on the concentrates, but of course I was checking out what their flower looked like and it looked better than some of the stuff here in the east valley.

It’s in a great location where I can swing by after work and even though there are a few dispensaries closer to my house, this is the only one I return to! After just a few times returning, the staff up front learned my name and welcome me every time with it (Such an amazing feeling)! The staff in the back are super friendly, not in a creepy way though, and are really helpful with any questions or concerns you have.

Proper bud structure, proper trim.. But it taste gross.
My senses don’t play tricks on me. I do the standard test I always do. Clean grinder for each strain, 4 different vapes for each strain, taste is really bad, all strains share the same contaminants, chocolate chlorophyll fish. It simply does not taste right.
Oh well, there’s only one place in AZ where the weed always smells like weed and nothing else. They are a deliver service. Peeps just got such low standards.. Who cares how pretty the buds are if they make your mouth water up (puke reflex) instead of give cotton mouth (like clean weed does)

Disappointed I purchased a half gram of concentrate 15.00. I had asked the budtender several times about the 25.00 grams. He said there are no 25.00 gram of concentrate only 15 and 35. So I bought the 1/2 gram. I leave store and see on leafy menu the 25.00 gram sugar wax. I go back not even 5 mins later bag still staple shut to exchange for 25.00 gram. And I’m told no can do.
Make sure your budtender understands what you want. I asked for a 25.00 gram several times. He keep saying we don’t have 25 grams of concentrate. Miscommunication and I left unhappy. No returns or exchange at Ponderosa.

You are not able to use your new patient special in conjunction with any other special. When I spoke to the woman on the phone to ask about this she spoke in circles. She kept saying “They would prefer that you use your new patient special” when I asked how it would work if I bought one of their $28 eighths. I asked her if that meant I was not able to receive a free $28 eighth on account of the new patient special and she was extremely rude and condescending.

Took a bit to take me back in. I was a little irritated by the disorganization of the dispensary when I was in the lobby. Ninja is super rad though and changed my experience there. Super rad chick and was really helpful in trying to pick a shatter. Shatter is a little over priced for the quality but it’s alright.

I love coming to this location. I recently moved closer to their location and I went to try it and just loved it. I’ve been coming here ever since. I also love how they have the express lane. It’s convenient and the people are super nice and ready to help you. I’ve met with a couple of the people here. Some of my new favorite stains from here is the a blueberry shortcake – helped my anxiety, pain and lack of sleep. Canamo cookies was very good high.

Management has decided to remove O pen products from $10 discount Tuesday !!! But in order to piss off as many of their customers as possible they just started notifying customers this morning on day of the offered discount. Very bad customer service !!! The reason too much business for Open products and since I buy them I’m just screwed because I’m one of the people who do indeed buy this product because it taste like flower , if I wanted to taste fruity pebbles I’d eat a bowl of cereal that’s what those other vapes taste like just look at the names . Ponderosa I’m surprised at you !! Worse yet you put your employees do the dirty work no management to be seen at the store . Bad very bad .

Visited Ponderosa Releaf for the first time on 11/14/2017 and was budtended by the BEST Budtender I have ever legitimately had. Upon entering, I was greeted by Chelsea , (Not quite sure if the spelling) and was immediately given a tour of the shop. When I asked about concentrates, Chelsea was very thorough and helpful in explaining the different kinds of concentrates, and which kinds would be good for me. After a couple of minutes, we finally decided that I was going to try something SolventlessaEUR” so we walk over to the counter where she shows me a few of the POM Syringes. While I already had the two strains picked out in my head, Chelsea again made an AWESOME recommendation to try the Jillybean… and it was FANTASTIC. I love Ponderosa Releaf, and most of all, their awesome budtender, Chelsea. If you aren’t a manager yet, you need to be! You ROCK! Thanks for an awesome experience, and I’ll be back sometime soon!

I love the flower. But believe that isn’t enough to make a place great. I don’t feel like it’s really a place for true medicinal users in need of treatment and one on one care.
Poor lobby layout. Small and cramped. No comfortable seating for patients with lower back issues and would be a nightmare for someone in a wheel chair. Front staff is hit or miss with customer service.
I’ll say the flowers great again, but this is the first place I think of when I think of recreational and not medicinal.

Then over to the Flower! I was VERY Impressed with the Quality, FTP BOGO up to an 8th, Taxes included and after I got home, Medicated, I Knew I would be Back for More!!

I felt very welcomed by the staff. They were also very informative. The flower and concentrates quality is some of the best I have come across. They did accidentally forget to return my card to me when i left and I was a having a bad day already. Not only did I get a sincere apology from the staff but the owner took his time to make sure everything was ok and I’ll never forget that. I Absolutely recommend visiting asap!

Recreational Quality not Medical. I purchased two of the prepackaged oz for $75. It’s a good price, but it should still be trimmed of leaves and have all the nutrients flushed out. The pre 98 Bubba is spicy on my tongue and sizzles when burning, more than it should. Come on AZ give us some real medicine at affordable prices please.

I went in to check them out today as they were not as far out my way as my normal spot on the way home from work. The staff was friendly and fast. I got concentrates and when I got home noticed one package barely had anything in it and weighed all of them and out of 2 grams I ended up with 1.5 total. The one I noticed at first was 0.36 grams. Also the flower is soil and not flushed well via the flavor the concentrates have… Not a good impression on the shorting on the weights so I will not return.

One of my go-to’s for dank flower! I picked up one nug of Wedding Cake today that weighed 6 grams alone! Their bottom shelf is honestly better than some dispenseries top stuff. Chris helped me today and he was awesome! He directed me to all the best strains, showed me his favorites, let me smell all of the jars, and was great at helping me pick between so many hard choices! The customer service is always exceeding here and makes me come back as much as the good flower does! I came into the lobby today and the Office was playing, also had a laugh out of that. Shop elsewhere. There are some bad actors in the Phoenix market that choose to ignore my privacy. They send me unsolicited text messages, robocalls and mailings as well as sharing my data with third parties. This is my private medical information they’re screwing with and I am entitled to my medical privacy by law. I now avoid these dispensaries and when I go to a new dispensary, I will not complete marketing surveys or give up my personal information beyond what is required by law. I’ve never had a problem with that approach here in Arizona until now. Under state law I have to present a marijuana card and a government-issued picture ID. That’s all. I could not get served at this dispensary unless I filled out their marketing card. My experience with other bad actors has been that once I filled out a marketing card with that information, I am inundated with unwanted advertising. Shop elsewhere.

This was a great week to visit this spot. All their of their flower was basically the same price. So I was able to pick up a quarter that was half Jesus OG and the other eighth was Rugburn OG. Both strain are super dank. Really high THC content, dense, perfect moisture level and both taste great. My budtender was on the ball with lineage and effects of all the strains available. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Wide variety of concentrate to chose from. I’m very pleased with the FTP special I got as well. BOGO on a gram of concentrate and they let you mix n match so I got 4 different half grams. Some shatter, crumble, and terp sauce. All are very nice quality.
Love the prices and deals they have. Great tiered prices on flower. Friendly staff with screens that show their favorite strain. Love this as a feature. Only downside is that you get taken to the back. I prefer an open atmosphere.

my bud tender Niv was really hot wish I could have got her number but she was very knowledgeable when she showed me around and introduced me to there variety of strains the bud is on point you can smell for yourself when you show up

My second visit was not as good as my first it has been awhile since I came in as I live very far away my selection on this recent visit was top shelve and was weaker then before hope your quality hasn’t gone down I’d hate to see that. First visit meds weren’t even top shelve so I’m puzzled and really won’t go out of my way to come back sorry guys I know my meds been in program for 9 years!

Hands down Best Place Ever ! Extremely knowledgeable budtenders with great quality flower. Was offered coffee & water right when you walk in , they have 2 big screen tv’s in the lobby & a express window. Very conveniently located off of 91st ave and Northern, I love Ponderosa!
