5. First time in and service was great! Nice, clean store with friendly happy people. $110 budget ounces weren’t what I expected but they said sometimes they get in some better stuff so I look forward to then. I can’t wait to try my Jack the Ripper tomorrow!! I look forward to my free joint for this review and to come in again!

6. Bright, clean, spacious . . . charming staff went out of their way to help me take advantage of their current sales. I hope they verify in the ‘deals’ section that they price match (at least they said so in another review response). That would make them hard to resist, especially at the prices of medibles.

16. I have been to this place twice now and really like it. The product is all top shelf and the service is excellent. Parking wasn’t as much of a challenge as I thought it would be. The set up is a little different than most and takes some getting use to but worth going back for!!

17. 1st time last night . SUPER friendly staff and owner. Good selection .
    Very “clinical” setting , you almost feel like you are in a bank vault ( not good). All items are under glass and all flowers are sold and weighed in back room….. Very odd.
    I’d recommend a visit for sure but atmosphere and experience is lacking compared to other places .

19. All I buy at dispensaries are Pre- Rolls and I’m really, obnoxiously picky about them. I came and tried Bloom since it was on my way home from the North PCC campus. I got a couple joints and the girl threw one in for free, which I really appreciated. She spoke highly of their J’s and said they even included a fair amount of kief in them. I tried one right after leaving and it was at least a Nectar sized joint, (huge) and didn’t go out or sideburn once. The best part was that even though I was skeptical about there actually being Kief in it, I was pretty excited when I could easily taste the very distinguished kief flavor in it. I’ve had the same budtender each time, and she seemed to remeber me after my first visit which is really respectable in my opinion. I felt the need to write all this because they give attention to detail on all the small things, like their joints, which is a pretty important aspect of a dispensary. Go check ’em out!

The quality, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, and I would definitely both recommend this dispensary to others as well as shop here again myself. Thank you, Bloom, for making an OMMP newbie feel comfortable and attended-to (and for the free pre-roll!) 🙂

29. I came to Bloom because I saw it here on Leafly. From all of the other places I had checked out, Bloom was calling my name.
    It looked like everything was organized and labeled and all of the reviews said how great and friendly the staff was.
    I was not disappointed. On my first visit, I had a lot of questions and a nice older lady (she looked young though) gave me a run down of the products, what they do, her preferences, etc. I told her what I was looking for and she went over that with me as well. No pressure to purchase anything whatsoever. I left the store feeling very taken care of. I ended up buying a vape pen and two diff cartridges.
    I noticed after I got home that one of them didn’t work and since I wanted to buy a couple of sativas, I figured I go back to the source.
    This time I was helped by Melanie. I explained about the broken cartridge and she swapped it right out, no questions asked, and then we talked about the products in detail in the store. She was awesome! I really like this place. I ended up getting some sativas, a rollie, and crumbles. This is really a great place to come and buy medicine.
    The meds are strong, the medibles are amazing and taste great, and the staff really is awesome and helpful. I honestly don’t think I’ll be shopping anywhere else!

38. This was my first time in here and my experience was fantastic! The product was top notch. The labels had the usual thc/cbd numbers on them but what I found most helpful is the labeling of the effect and what ailments it will most likely help a patient with. Truly amazing. No guessing or waiting for a bud tender to look it up for me. I was going in for the strawberry cough(awesome by the way) but left with 3 other strains too, a few edibles and a concentrate. This is my go to shop from now on. Love it!!!

87. Bloom is one of my favorite Portland dispensaries. I’m a regular customer, and I encourage you to check it out too! I mostly buy flower, and their quality is fantastic; I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve bought there. Rather than having dozens of strains like some of the larger dispensaries, Bloom carries only the buds that meet its standards of quality – and they’re pretty high. Their middle-shelf ($8/gram) flower would probably cost you $10/gram elsewhere, and their top-shelf flower is very affordable at just $10/gram. It’s a great place to try new strains, and I’ve found some of my favorite strains (notably Sour Jack and Watermelon Kush) there!

    My one criticism of Bloom is that their specials aren’t very good. They have a reward program, but the points expire after 30 days, so if you’re a light consumer like me you’ll never see a penny of your credit (I didn’t even know it existed until I saw it here). It would be a nice incentive to shop there more often if they had better specials/sales – hopefully they will have some in the future!

90. Well I stopped in because they had a couple of very potent concentrates that whet my appetite. They were on the menu while I was on the bus riding to the store. When I got there I was told they were sold out of both of them. The budtender claimed that they had been really busy and stuff had just been flying off the shelf, but the place was empty when I was there. A total waste of a couple of hours. Can you say “bait and switch”?

92. Inside this dispensary it looks great. There’s bright lighting and it’s set up very similar to a pharmacy, with people behind the counter and product prepackaged. I came in to purchase an ounce because I am a OMMP card holder. I was told that I couldn’t purchase an ounce because it wouldn’t be fair to send somebody (with a OMMP card) home with a bunch of product while the rec users only get 1/4. Really? So basically you’re telling me you don’t want my business? I was actually offended. That’s cool, I know I will not be returning. I have not tried the bud I did purchase yet but I would like to point out that everything is prepackaged and if it’s weighed (which I guess they hope nobody does) it comes up short. Don’t forget, once it’s in your hands, you’re stuck with it. The parking in the back is very shady where mentally ill homeless people are walking around. It’s a very unsafe environment (parking lot, not the dispensary). I wouldn’t suggest turning around OMMP holders because we have legit health issues and that is why we have the card in the first place. I’ve had my card since 2007. They said that Bloom was originally a dispensary for OMMP holders which is very difficult to believe after being told I can’t buy an ounce. They want to look cool to all the rec users so I won’t return.

98. I originally came here to check out their 2-year anniversary party, and even though they were clearly busy, the staff was patient and friendly. Unfortunately one of the items I bought at the time was bogus, through no fault of the dispensary. I returned later and found a gracious and helpful staff that was able to resolve my issue right away and with no hassle. The quality of everything else I purchased was amazing, and though this dispensary is a little far from home, its worth the trip for quality product and a fair cost and with friendly staff to answer questions and hold your hand if you need it. These guys are great.

99. I was sold the worst weed I’ve ever bought in OR here, bar none. I wasn’t even sure what to do with it. They sold it to me for $25, but it was worth about $3. The store decor was ugly/nonexistent and the store seemed uninviting and prison-like.

     The good i have had the pleasure of meeting two employees and the owner.
     Its very refreshing to walk into a dispensarys and talk to employees that are educated on products and yet not completely faded, dab out, stoned like most dispensarys in town.

     This place is huge use it.
     There are only 3 displays and no refrigerator.
     The down right UGLY
     Pre package products that are not scaled out in front of the customer. Back room handling of products feels reminiscent of black market deals.
     I get that this place used to be a bank but the glass wall is impersonal and make one feel as if you dont trust us….as in why should we trust what you grabbed out of the back room and pre bagged is what we ordered?
     I have never been wronged here im just making a point.
     I used to come here all the time because they had the best prices on concentrate but all the other dispensarys in town have sence matched price and also run deals on wed and sat that beat there price.
     Also on my 1st visit i was told that they dont give a free gift as advertised and that it must have been a different bloom location.
     I and my wife and friends have never received a VIP text.
     The owner is nice and the employees are nice so no disrespect to them. I just hope they learn to trust their customers and intergrate more into there beautiful store.

After I had gone threw a windshield when I was younger I’ve suffered from aches and pains, things constantly clicking and popping in and out of place for years, A couple of workers from bloom had suggested the CBD tincture cannabidiol, and I was skeptical of it at first since I’m use to flower but finally gave it a shot and I hafta say- its helped me immensely! 116. Massive Selection. LOVE THE CHALK BOARD. Give’s it a quality feel like you’d find at a craft beer pub! I’m used to the more “pre-packed approach” as I normally shop closer to home in McMinnville but hit Portland often. Make’s it quicker, easier for everyone.

122. We were on our way home from the Sportsmans show at the Expo center and my feet and back were killing me. We decided to stop in as we passed by to see if they had any high CBD meds of any kind. They didn’t have the jell caps I was looking for but we did find something to help on the long drive home. We were apprehensive about the area, but managed to find well lit safe parking and it was much nicer than we thought it would be. Nice staff, good prices, decent selection…. 134. I think the prices are pretty great and I think there are a few people who are extremely knowledgeable, which I’m truly thankful for that. I don’t know however, if I’ll ever go back in there after the last few times I’ve been in with the vibe I’ve gotten.

     I am a people person. I’m a comedienne as well, and a bit talkative. I have had too many people who work there seemingly rolling their eyes when I ask questions or just not respond at all because they are waiting for me to choose and looking off into space as if they’re inconvenienced.

     I realize each day is different, but it kind of stings a bit when you notice the atmosphere change when you walk in as if they just want you to shut up before you even start talking. Especially when you notice someone whom always seems to like to see you, change their demeanor due to the others who may not appreciate my personable character.

     This last visit really made me miss my old shop, and made me leave this review. Once or twice, sure, but it’s been too many times now. They will thrive regardless of one less customer. Takes a substantial amount of placating for me to say no more.

     One of the assistant managers has a vast amount of knowledge no matter what you ask her, but this last visit put me off enough to go down the street and pay more.

Having been to several recreational spots in Portland and Washington, Bloom surpasses them all in storefront aesthetics and attention to detail. I was invited in one at a time to get personal help from the extremely knowledgeable and kind staff. I live in Hillsboro but work in North Portland and I plan to stop here everytime I need quality and quantity. I plan on frequenting this spot time and time again.

310. very unimpressed by quality of the flowers. got a 4/20 special 7g/7strain pack. mostly airy buds without much bag appeal, grassy/chlorophyll smell to all the buds, all of them seemed over dried and poorly cured. all of the test numbers seem very inflated — the og kush claims to be 29+% thc, but i wouldn’t buy any number over 15%. i recently smoked some 22% thc ghost og from a different dispensery that was absolutely caked in crystals, and had twice as strong of an effect. blooms og also was basically flavor less — none of the earthy, lemony, funk that you’d expect from an good og cut. i would recommend others to try one of portland’s other dispenserys, where higher quality cannabis is avalible.

     After being told about their sale the next day, I was excited so I only bought a gram of GSC mint. After going back home to enjoy, I noticed the flower I had looked different than the sample. The next morning I decided to get the 7grams for $40. Not thinking maybe that deal is too good to be true , and it was !
     Of the 7 grams two were indoor and looked ok. The NYC sour D, and the super skunk . The other five grams were outdoor/greenhouse. The OG was Faux G , not the 1 ! The red haze was good for green house but it was not a Haze !
     The girls were sweet and customer service was dope ! And 7 grams for 40 is a deal. However the bait and switch is not cool ! So far Oregon 1-4 with pot ! Next time I come up here to fish, I am being my own medication ! Hope you guys get it together ! You should educate your customers and keep strains to the names ! And don’t sell outdoor greenhouse as if it’s indoor , especially when ……….I’m done ! I would have called but , what I’m I going to say ? I want my money back lol , even better can I trade my crap for more crap ! Wasn’t too sure about the neighborhood, but its across the street from Nike, so how bad could it be? They didn’t have the CBD caps we were looking for, but did have a nice selection and I managed to find something to buy that I just had to have…. We’ll watch to see if they add CBD gell caps to the menu and won’t hesitate to stop in again instead of driving by!

354. A very nice place to shop. They got my wife and I into the bud room quickly, the budtender was very informative and friendly, and they provided a quality experience. The budtender offered me a tiny bowl of coffee beans to sniff before smelling each strain, and he had all the advice and info that I asked for. I bought an eight of Purple Alien and an eighth of Albert Walker, both at the budtender’s suggestion, and I’m very happy with my purchase, though the Albert Walker was real crunchy (no complaints on the high, though). They carded both of us, their registers are secure are secure (less chance of a robbery), they only offered flowers (we’re not patients), and they provided government-sponsored information on the “potential dangers” of children ingesting cannabis products at our purchase, so they are as legit as they can get. I will definitely go again and again.

375. I recently made “BLOOM” my apothecary of choice. I have been to many others. Some are a poorly lit. Some are staffed by strange characters. One place asked if I am a policeman. The bottom line is some places make me feel uncomfortable. Maybe I don’t fit their notion of the average consumer.
     I am 61 years old. I have lots of questions… and I ask them! I like to be an informed consumer.
     I like to shop at “BLOOM” because:
     A) They are located in a safe neighborhood with plenty of on street parking.
     B) The store is bright, well lit, and CLEAN!
     C) Melanie, the proprietor is a doll. She’s pleasant, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile. She takes the time to answer my questions and knows the properties of the different strains her store carries.
     D) Mike, an employee, is the same way and always greets his customers promptly and with a big smile on his face.
     E) The prices are fair, (maybe even on the low side), and the QUALITY is high ( pun intended!).
     I guess I am especially suggesting “BLOOM” for folks around my age, who just want to find a nice place where they are warmly welcomed and treated kindly.

Prepack is a little different than what I’m used to, but the way they explained it makes sense. Packaging it right when they receive it from the grower keeps it fresh, unlike some of the flower that sits in jars for months at other shops.

     I am a seasoned smoker and can absolutely compare Portland weed to anything one would find in Amsterdam. From the perspective of a weed tourist the only missing ingredient is having somewhere indoors to smoke. However this tourist ( from Atlanta) had no complaints. …I enjoyed myself and the activities I engaged in while visiting Oregon. I will return to visit both Portland and the recreational marijuana store Bloom.
