1. Waaay overpriced. Crappy service. Management is oblivious to the greater portland market, so quality lacks and prices soar. Also their menu attempts to hide the expensive stuff, presumably to trick customers into thinking their prices are somewhat reasonable. They are not.

Not to mention, Of all of the places I have been to and love, Canna Connection has the most consistently fire flower. They will treat you right and help you heal. Please go visit these folks! 4. Stopped into this store for the first time with my friends, all the from Salem, and we really liked this spot for all our medical needs! Really sincerely caring staff, and knowledgable staff. With meds that make me us wish we lived closer! This will be our go to place when we’re in town. Best free pre rolls I’ve had! Best top shelf master kush! Keep up the good work!

11. When I’m going here I’m mainly shopping for flower, and as far as this goes my experience has been constantly fantastic. The quality of their plans are impeccable, and they seem to be really good at keeping things in stock.
    The fine people who work there are friendly and know what they’re talking about.
    Also their selection of edibles is pretty extensive as well. Go here!

13. Don’t let the location or decor stop you from coming here. Sure, they’re not as slick or ‘branded’ as other shops – but they’ve definitely got a better connection to growers than others. Seriously the best flower I’ve seen outside of Farma. Very friendly/nice staff. The only place I’ll ever buy Master Kush!!! These guys are one of the original shops. Respect.

15. I heard about this place from a very dear friend of mine and decided to check it out since I was just up the road. And boy am I glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was blown away. Very nice, clean place. The people that work there are just as kind as they are knowledgable(and that’s a great deal). The quality was just as amazing. I picked up some carnage for my stomach and to help me sleep per their recommendation and it did wonders. If you’re looking for a dispensary with reasonable prices, great medicine, that also makes you feel like you never left home. Then I would highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out. I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.

19. This was the first medical dispensary I visited after receiving my medical card, and I’m happy to say it was a very positive experience.

    Upon entering, I was greeted by a cute and super relaxed dog hanging out on the couch, and the budtender was very helpful (and generous). I came looking for vape cartridges, and I did not leave disappointed. Their credit card system proved convenient as well.

24. This place has the best weed I have seen anywhere in Portland!! I love that it’s super laid back…you can just walk in, upstairs to the retail part of the store which is huge, and there’s no “check in” or dumb lobby you have to sit in forever to get into the store. The employees were all really friendly and super chill, and everyone knew their shit. By far, this place has the most amazing weed I have seen anywhere else. The Jesus strain they have there is fucking amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who thinks they are getting good weed anywhere else!!

26. What can I say about the Portland Canna Connection that hasn’t already been said? Rose City Fire? Yep; they got it all. From super fire flowers to excellent concentrates & edibles, tinctures, topicals, the selection and vibe of this dispensary is top notch! The employees are passionately serious about what they do and absolutely establish more than just an over-the-counter relationship with their patients. I can’t wait to see what’s next and new when I stop in because they are constantly upgrading some element of the experience and service they provide the medical community. Thanks for being some of Portland’s friendliest dispensary staff!

27. Quality, Service, Atmosphere, Knowledgeable and Compassionate people!!! The Canna Connection conveniently located on SE Hawthorne….I have been to at least 15 Clubs in Portland. They are 1 of my 2 Favorites…..4-sure! I’m a OMMP Patient, Caregiver and Grower….I have had HIV for over 18 years and I also have chronic pain…..Degenerative Disc, Spinal Stenosis, Phybromyalgia. oh yeah and Arthritis…I went there for the first time in 2010….Since then they have made the experience more private and they actually make eye contact and do basic consults to get the best meds based on my needs that day… I’m very picky and they are awesome…..

28. For those looking for high quality buds? Sold by a highly knowledgeable staff? This is my definite go-to spot. The location may be low-key, but the people and the strain rotation are always top-notch. Worth a visit!

33. Fabulous flower, honestly some of the most beautifully trimmed/cured herb I’ve seen so far in town. The two women who helped me went above and beyond answering questions, filling me in on some of their providers, were patient and willing to “shoot the shit” while I wandered around before making my purchase(s). There was not a single strain available that wasn’t over the top in regards to look/smell/and eventual taste. They are doing it right at Portland Canna Connection.

36. Excellent service! They’re always friendly (even if you’re “older”) and helpful and we’ve been going there since 2011. They were fantastic about taking care of a rare problem cartridge. The vibe is easy-going – not nearly so “business” oriented like a lot of places.

37. I’ve been here a bunch of times sometimes with our dogs, or friends from out of town. Everyone that works here is super friendly and knowledgeable. Stuff comes and goes pretty quickly, so if the cartridges or edibles you want aren’t in stock just hit them up again.

    Definitely suggest the CBD or THC taffys they have. My wife loves the CBD taffys and we generally keep a few on hand.

38. Well if you have been reading reviews, you may notice this as my second, mostly because the first 1 that I send didn’t quite cover how great this Lil hole in the wall up Hawthorne(maybe a block east of new seasons hawthorne.
    OK first off, I have now (since oct. 1st) been in and out and very inquisitive w/ staff, of around ten dispensaries.

    Gets me on an extremely long commute, as I have tried so many locations now, pretty much all in a closer vacinity, but I will take that extra half hour to get my flowers from Ptld.canna.conn.
    These guys have the flowers that I want, and their main grower(s) do it a lot like I did, maybe that why I like em so much…. the other thing that stands out like a sore thumb w/ their flowers, are that they grow so many of my fav. Strains that I have grown in the past, a lot of TGA subcool. They”re my jam. Try them yourself (I’m sure they would be more than glad to point out which ones are subcool. i.e. “Jesus og”, “agent orange” N.w. fav “Cynex”, which I’m not sure if they have in stock now, is produced w/ subs’ vortex A– Cindy ’99(Cindy a strain that subcool utilizes in breeding.
    They have some good old flavors and terpins that I’m used to from back in growing days, where i ordered/tried single seeds and usually finding a killer mama every few months, and tried +/- 10 to 12 different plants every few months.. quite unorthodox, I know, but I’ve always enjoyed Horticulture, and have ever an ever changing palate
    Portland canna connection seems to be on the same page as I was when I grew, and consumed lots more. Now my 3 main objectives w/ great flowers are simple. An 3)an ever changing menu from the hands of a skilled grower 2) and 1) are tough to decide upon, but probably terpines/long lasting flavor.
    So many of these other shops are, cheesy lobby i.d. followed by I’d at register, and even when shop is dead they are I’m a rush, become rude very quickly. take themselves a bit too seriously, and that’s enuff to drive me out the door I’m spending a lot of money, treat me like a human, pick my flowers etc. Like P.c.c has done for me. The last thing I’ll say is that they seem to have some1 who knows their growin/trimmin/perfect amt of curing, so u get that max. Taste/smell/ and perfect dry, that’s probably my biggest pet-peave of all these other joints using lg plastic ridiculous oversized containers. And they take the contain tanner you wanna look at, and shake it really hard. Oversized containers create over dry grassy smelling bud. Not at Portland canna conn.

42. I wandered in to this shop a few months ago. After moving to SE I was looking for a new go-to dispensary for medicinal marijuana. This is increasingly hard to find amongst the multitude of shops that have sprung up in the last few years. The staff at Canna are the best, I always enjoy going in and chatting for a bit and getting their recommendations on what strains or products will be best for my symptoms. There is much to praise here and I urge you to head in and check it out!

43. My first time and I will definitely be back. Knowledgeable budtenders who seemed to be I interested in finding me what I needed and good prices. Definitely not spending money on the atmosphere, but it wasn’t gross or seedy. Just chill.

47. This is by far my new favorite dispensary. The flower is incredibly well priced for the quality. I’ve never bought anything I wasn’t pleased with. The employees are very helpful if you need help, and are awesome at sensing when you need a moment to look. They give great advice and never upsell.

    On one embarrassing occasion I paid for a gram of flower and walked out having been given change but no flower. As embarrassed as I was to check over such a small quantity, I called the next day and they verified what had happened and said I could come in to pick it up. No interrogation – just kindness.

    When I showed up to pick up the missed flower they had stuffed 2.5 grams into the container. They could have assumed I was some sketchy dude pulling one over on them, but instead they helped me out during a really tight week.

    Aside from the remarkable heroism displayed during that ordeal they’ve just been consistently awesome to work with. They are always friendly and the place is always super clean. These are the kind of people to buy cannabis from.

50. This is the closest dispensary to me but I would have no problems making the trek further if this place wasn’t so awesome. The employees are always courteous and helpful, it’s very low key, not touristy, good prices, and quick service. Not a huge selection of flower but it rotates often.

55. This is the closest dispensary to me but also my favorite in Portland. The service is top notch. Out of probably 20 visits I have only encountered one doucher and I did not see him again after that so my guess is that they sent him packing. I regularly see very good prices on the weed. They have a little less selection than others, but who cares? The weed is high quality. I had only one gram purchase that wasn’t great, but that was solely due to a shit load of stems and one so-so one out of about 40 gram purchases is not bad!

56. Recreational head upstairs for your flower. The upstairs looked like it was thrown together this morning, but it’s the first day of rec so it wasn’t a big deal, and it kinda gave it more of a laid back vibe anyway. Only 7 or 8 choices today, but they all looked pretty legit, and again, first day of rec, I’m sure it will only get better. The staff was super helpful and could explain each strain and help you find whatever kind of high you’re looking for.

64. If $6.25 is your lowest price point for flower you guys will not remain competitive, especially without offering any discounts.

    In the past this place offered a Hawthorne discount that was extended to people in the neighborhood, not just those working on Hawthorne. I live just minutes away and have been going to this store for over 2 years. Almost that whole time I was offered the Hawthorne discount. On my last visit I was told the discount it no longer available (Unless I work on Hawthorne). I am now going to a dispensary that is slightly further away, but their lowest price point for flower is $3, then $4.20 then $6. All less than this place and without a discount on top.

    The employees here are amazing and I wish I could keep going here, but I can’t justify paying almost $5 more an eighth.
