1. It was pre-weighed and one of my 1/8ths was all popcorn kernel size nugs. But the service was great and the weed was good.

2. 5-10 min walk from the house I like. Plus they took care of me when I had my last day of radiation!!! Love the people there very friendly and know there weed there for medical patients.

3. Zion was the first dispensary that I visited when recreational marijuana became legal. The flower is top notch and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Just tell them what you’d like as an effect and they will direct you to the best medicine to meet your needs. The bud tenders and receptionist are so friendly and once you’ve been there a few times they know you by name. The selection is always growing! I HIGHly recommend this dispensary!!!

4. If you’re going to have a leafly menu… UPDATE IT!
   And how do you not have co2 cartridges?
   Employees were fine, place is nice enough, but menu not up to date, prices way out of line for the same strain/farm sold at other shops, and NO cartridges?

   I think it’s only honest to change from saying you carry the best, to saying you carry a little bit, and it cost more than any where else.

8. I really wanted to love this place a lot more, just because it’s so close to my apartment, but I was a bit let down. The staff was a bit standoffish and not very knowledgable. They really didn’t seem too interested in helping. We got a cool product that I hadn’t seen anywhere else, which is always a plus. Their oils were quite pricey, around $70/gram. We decided to pass and just grabbed a pre-roll and this edible, dabbable oil thing. If the prices were lower and the staff laid off the bud a bit more while on the job it would get 5 stars.

9. I work at Mellow Mood Pipe & Tobacco and I love coming here! It’s super close to my work, staff is welcoming & very knowledgeable. There’s also a great selection of product with exceptional quality!

12. If you are looking to buy a pax 2 and live downtown do it here, nice and fast service. They don’t get cheaper than MSRP. Bud is a Bit pricey but welcome to recreational I suppose, atleast I will have a solid place to pickup until my OMMP gets mailed in the next century. The focus on terpenes would go great with a selection of a few landrace strains, everyone loves Acapulco and Durban (which they carry and got me stoned enough to write an entire review). Good place.

13. You want to shop here. Trust me I know from experience!!! Zion really takes the next step and issues further analysis and terpene testing on strains carried. Educate and elevate yourself, support your local vendors and shop at Zion Cannabis!

14. $50 for Select Strains cartridges is NOT a deal. Especially when they are $35-40 at every other shop.

15. At first, I was just excited to have a dispensary closer to where I live, but now that I have visited several times I can also safely say they are one of the best in town. They take patient care seriously and are very thorough about testing, so you can feel confident that anything you get there is as clean as it can be. Heather and Taylor are very well informed and can help you make the best choices for your needs. Nice to have such a great dispensary right here by PSU and OHSU!

20. The clerk told me that I had to buy the Brand X battery in order to use the Brand X cartridge. That might fly with newbies but was insulting to me. PLEASE train your clerks to inform potential buyers about correct battery settings rather than promote marketing lies about “exclusivity”.

These are just a few of the reasons why I love Zion and have been going there since they opened their doors for Rec sales. Whether you’re looking for the absolute top shelf that Portland has to offer or a $30 eighth to get you through the week, Zion has it all!

22. Do not rely on their leafly menu to be accurate! Call before you go, or just do not look.

    I have been to this location 4 times, 2 times everything went smoothly. The other 2 times I went because they specifically had something listed on their site and both of these times they did not actually have it. The first time this happened, I figured no big deal, but I just came back from this place and it happened again.

    They honestly seemed indifferent to the fact that I wasted my time. They offered no apology, or anything to rectify the situation. It is now more than an hour since I left and the item is STILL listed on their site.

    Quality of this place is OK: not great but pretty good.

    The location itself is nice-ish but be warned it is pretty small inside and there is no AC so definitely do not go on a hot day.

    Service: They seemed friendly enough as far as saying hi when you walk in, but they don’t really seem to care about much past that.

    Overall, I say this place is just OK. And while I cannot specifically list competitors in this review, I can tell you that if you look on the leafly map, there are a LOT of good options nearby. Places that value your time and would not let you leave unsatisfied due to their own negligence.

27. I went to zion for my first time last night! I was excited to hear 1st time patients got a yummy dark chocolate that helped me sleep like a baby. I was sad when I got home and saw the oil I purchased wasn’t in great condition, I walked back up to the shop where they quickly resolved the issue by exchanging it the one I wasn’t happy with for a brand new one! excellent service I was very impressed as a 1st time customer! Shout out to Zion for doing the right thing for their customers!

30. I found Zion through leafly when I was passing through Portland, it was great to talk shop with the guy who was helping me out. He turned me on to blue power live resin. I also grabbed the alien og pleased to find out its a cross of Tahoe og my absolute favorite. They gave me a free cbd pre-roll for being a first time patient. Great place to check out

34. Wow… Great place in a great location! I could smell the cannabis as I walked through the front door, which is always a good sign. Kinda like walking into good, neighborhood restaurant and smelling the home cooking!
    My first visit looking for a USB charger for my pen… but while I waited I listened to the very well informed budtender helping another customer decide on strains he wanted.
    I bought a new pen that came with a universal charger, so now I won’t have to switch out my cartridges for a different effect!
    Overall, graet place… I’ll be back for more!

38. This is a beautiful store with a nice variety of incredibly aromatic, delicious flower and edibles. The “bud scope” at the sales counter is a very innovative feature and worth the trip alone! Big props to Heather for being a fabulously classy budtender who delivers top-notch service and product knowledge 🙂

39. I was pleasantly surprised! I didn’t expect such an easy process and I expected to be a bit fearful, but for a first timer this was relatively easy and great. The staff was super friendly, chatty, and helpful.
    I ended up leaving here a super satisfied customer. 🙂

40. I found this place back in October with my friend in excitement to make it one of my regular stops for my flower needs with great prices for medical and great quality all round with the first two visits.

    I am very disappointed after the unexplained price changes for medical patients occured sometime in November where everything beforehand was a flat rate of $8 a gram for medical now it’s the same price for everyone recreational and medical which is an insult to us medical patients who are still the primary community for these “medical dispensaries” only to be changed without any good explaination.

    Even the bud tenders who are medical were also extremely upset with not only the price changes but the extremely poor quality of flower that was brought into the store which even without the microscope provided inside for all to use I could tell the flower; franks gift they had at the time was bad from the foul smell of feet, the wet texture, and the almost invisible trichomes to the naked eye whereas another flower; Alien Purple Dog for the same price of $13 was beautiful from the naked eye. Yet in the back of the store someone was really upset that two pounds of flower of the Purple Alien Dog and another strain was mixed up in the industrial sized bag they brought up to the front to talk to another bud tender about and had to get it all sorted out by hand in the back.

    After this level of unprofessionalism and downright disrespect to the medical community I am never going to come back here and just wish I could find a microscope elsewhere as that’s the only thing that makes this place even worth checking out anymore, at least you’ll get an idea of the quality of what you’re buying, too bad they can’t do the same before accepting peoples flower they are going to sell at the dispensary ESPECIALLY during and after Croptober.

42. I was visiting Terwilliger Plaza and decided to stop into this dispensary because it was right next door. Beautiful on the inside, cool displays, even a microscope connected to a tv screen. I like seeing a dispensary that does things differently from the rest. And Heather, who used to work at Powell House is the manager! She was always so helpful, and I’m very glad I found her again. This is my new regular spot!!!

43. Zion has been my go-to dispensary since Oct. 1 because of their low prices and scientific approach. Their emphasis on terpene profiles over genetics is sound, and the product is great too. Zion has smart staff that want to be helpful. The only criticism I have is on decor other than the bar. All in due time, I guess.

47. I was a first timer here at Zion. I came in and picked-up some of the flower called Purps. This flower gave me a nice relaxing high and it helped eleviate some of the pains. I have associated with my neck, back and it helped relax all the tension.

55. Zion is my usual place to go for recreational weed thanks to its proximity to home and work. The fact that it is clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and the store has a professional atmosphere is just a bonus! The tenders are helpful and love to chat with customers, they even recognized me after only a handful times in the store.

    Prices seem to be pretty competitive, and a gram costs a lot less than I have paid before in Washington. Their selection has only grown since my first visit too! Zion comes highly recommended.

59. coming from Cali where a club can feel almost corporate and mechanical Zion is truly like a candy store. from the moment you walk in you are helped and greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. 60. Favorite Dispensary by far!! I love this place it has such a great friendly staff, very professional and clean, and the greens.. Where do I start!! Amazing selection on the buds, the budtenders are the best on telling about the strains and pin pointing exactly what you are looking for. They also have a nice selection on pieces from bongs and pipes all nicely priceddY’ also have lighters, everything that you need is here.

    If you’re ever on the go , my favorite thing to get is the joints. They have a lot of varies strains ranging from $5 to $7 ..SUPER CHEAP for amazing joints.

61. Strains are great! People who work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine! They didn’t even give me any grief when I asked for more product than I had cash and they happily set me up proper like. Only negatives are the space is not conducive to wanting to ‘hang out’, but it’s pleasant enough. I was also a little disappointed to learn that even if you’re buying glass, you must use cash.

One of the nicer dispensary builds i’ve seen (I’m a nerd about that), and some great exclusive strains to try that aren’t widely available in town (I personally love the Day Tripper and Star Master Kush). 64. Super loved this location. The paintings inside were so cool. I loved that they had my favorite grower (Resin Ranchers). Mike was so awesome! He took the time to explain everything to me and told me about some new product that I had never had (RCO). I got some Rude Boi and could not be happier with the recommendation. I also grabbed a $5 Joint and it was packed perfectly. I will be back for sure! They even let me smell a brand new strain before it dropped.

67. One of my favorite dispensaries nearby the PSU campus, the budtenders are always very welcoming, supportive, and nondiscriminatory. They truly converse with you in an effort to find the best possible selection for you. Alex recommended the Fire OG and it was an absolute hit! They will even point you towards other dispensaries when you’re searching for a specific product that they don’t have (I was searching for some CBD tincture), absolutely astounded by the customer service.

98. Tax is 20% in the state of Oregon. So on a $12 g of oil 10% is $1.20. Therefore tax being 20% is $2.40. I was charged $15 for that $12 g. When i should have only paid $14.40..

From the start they have been very protective of their customer base by maintaining high standards of quality product that is both enjoyable as well as safe for the user. I appreciate this dedication to a more regulated industry, it improves my ability to get consistent product. They are now my regular shop, and I like chatting with the staff when I stop in there. 10/10 would recommend again.

108. Good in person service. Worst over the phone service of all the dispensaries in Portland. I find myself buying more and more from Oregon’s Finest, which is across my office, than from here, which is a couple of blocks from my house. I buy PAX pods weekly and I’m never able to get a bud tender on the phone to check availability. On the rare occasion I’ve been able to get a hold of someone, they’ve been super short, bordering on rude and have told me to check Leafly, which, it turns out, doesn’t include their entire menu and is not very specific when it comes to PAX pods.

109. ZION is my go to dispensary. Not only is ZION 0.2 miles from my apartment, but it also has the best quality bud I have purchased and has the most competitive pricing. If you don’t know what I mean by competitive pricing, their weed is low cost for very high quality. The only thing is it’s still a growing dispensary so it may not have the range of choice that you connoisseurs may be looking for. For someone like myself who gets overwhelmed by an excess of choice, this dispensary is great for me and still has a great menu range for the folks looking to dabble around in different strains.
