Bud tenders- vary though- drastically- I recommend Thomas. There are a few I will not use and will wait for another bud tender. So if you have a bad visit- go back and ask for Thomas or dez:)

    and don’t be fooled by the offer of a free half gram with purchase. that’s why it’s so high up in reviews. if you’re absolutely in need, go here. otherwise I’d plan on another store in the relative area. there are ones in the area with better pricing and quality.

29. The last time I left a review was a year ago, time for an update. I have visited Maritime Cafe probably around 30 times over the past year. The staff is amazing, it’s like they hand-picked the nicest people to work there.
    I’m autistic and struggle with communicating my needs verbally in stimulating environments but based off limited information they’ve been able to give me recommendations (if my favorites happen to be out of stock) and they have been 100% spot on. They have also been more accepting and accommodating to my needs than I would ever expect. Today for example (July 4th), it was extremely busy and loud. Dez was very quiet and patient with me, even thinking to turn the radio down which helped tremendously for me. Thank you Dez! I always go in and make them do math that I couldn’t do to get me the most for my money and they never make it seem like its any trouble at all. I could go on and on about positive experiences I remember at Maritime.
    I get a great deal there compared to 4 other local dispensaries I have tried. They also have a good selection which I cannot say for all of the others I have been to.
    In summary, I love Maritime Cafe and until a time when I’m fully self sufficient I will be a repeat customer. I have no reason to go anywhere else. Thanks for being awesome guys and gals. <3

She also helped me with getting to the right doctor that could certify me for my card. In addition to Tracy the staff are very knowledgeable about all strains and oils as I would gladly make this my main store of purchase as they make me feel welcome always when I walk in the door. Recreational definitely seems to be taking reign and priority at this dispensary. So because of these things I have stopped going to this dispensary. The actual case in which the keep their clones is very well setup and all of their plants are very healthy with thick roots. They have a fantastically wide selection with great varieties, and the location is great – right next door to the Stash Gift Shop that sells smoking supplies.      They recorded my name in their database, tied to my purchase history. Other places only record your birthdate, which is what the state requires. I probably won’t go back unless they change their policy or give me an opportunity to opt out of having my name stored in their permanent database.

I always loved it here But That Changed Today…Maritime Wouldn’t Accept My Replacement OMMP Medical Card Was Denied by employee and the owner Mario at this dispensary refusing medical pricing and lack of respect. This dispensary has basically refused to sell me Cannabis that I’m legally able to purchase without tax. It’s a sad day when a business loses a customer especially when there are so many other dispensary options out there. I will be spreading the word about this bad experience to everyone I know. This makes no sense as numerous other dispensaries have accepted my replacement OMMP Card.

Selection has always been large there. But quality I will not say is better then anyone else’s. As every place I have been to has good meds and some ok strains as well. Pricing has always been avg. As place like LA Mota, and West Coast provide same quality marijuana for cheaper prices. Can get better quality at locations including cannabliss, Mt hood wellness, rip city, and hell, better prices and equal quality at the RKO just down the street. An with all the hype of prices of who’s cheaper. Much of these prices will change with the coming taxes. So quality with proper quantity and not pre keifed before being sold. Is important. So I won’t frequent this location anymore and will take my money else where. As any business can update their look to look more professional. But that just ads a mask over the shadiness that’s still there.

747. Ive been in this social club and dispensary 4 times now. Meds are great. Staff needs some training tho. In the dispensary, they are rude. My 1st time in, the thin woman was short with me, talked with other staff while I was asking questions, never did she answer my questions. The 2nd time when I went in, I asked about a certain strain, the young guy knew nothing about it, tried to sell me something else I had no interest in, I had to google what I wanted to know. The 3rd time, the young staff was overwhelmed, messed up my order and wasted a bunch of my time.
     The social club has such amazing potential, if the owner would advertise it and keep friendly staff there. After getting my meds one day, I went in. The gal with short brown hair was friendly, made me feel welcome, it was great. She showed me around, offered smoking pieces and was nice. The people there really seemed to enjoy her. The 2nd time I went in, a young girl was working. She barely said hello, was more interested in getting the old guy at the counter to go buy her food. I went to the 420 party there with a friend, we didn’t stay long. The owner was being rude, wanting to know why no one brought food for the potluck, people said they didn’t know about it. He stormed off. I was in the area and needed to medicate one day, so I stopped in. The young guy working was the same one who tried to sell me what I didn’t want. He didn’t offer me an ashtray or smoking piece. I sat in the back, medicated and watched him take dab after dab with a patient at the counter.
     I wish I could say I will be back and that I will recommend it to all my friends, sadly, that isn’t the case.

764. My first visit they checked myself and my caregiver in together. We browsed the selection of flower, and were not impressed. It all looked dark, dry, and leafy. As for the concentrates, they keep them in a case with regular lights shining on them which are too hot and causes them to melt and lose their stability. The second time I visited, they had my information in the computer from my last visit, but not my caregivers info. It took a very long time for the receptionist to re-enter the information. There was also a sign in the lobby stating they would give you a free .5 of flower if you posted a review on leafly, so I did. The receptionist told me to let the bud tender know, so I could receive my flower. When I told him he said leafly was too backed up at that time, and to try again on another visit. I felt very rushed, and unwelcome. The quality of the flower isn’t even worth the trip back even if it was for free. I definitely won’t be back.

None of the shops in this neighborhood have good budget ounces, and I think whoever joins the competition here will become the absolute go to shop in the area. I usually go to Portland once a week to buy a $100 ounce at 1 of the 20 or so shops I have found offering them, but it would be nice if someone in the Milwaukie area could offer the same(obviously lots of suppliers wholesaling at prices where $99oz is feasible). 902. I’ve visited this dispensary twice and had great service on both occasions. The environment is professional, but inviting. I like that it sits somewhere between a clinic and boutique in the vibe. Not too casual, but not too clinical. The budtenders seem to recommend things actually worth buying as opposed to trying to clear out undesirable product. Both times I came here was to track down Ghost Train Haze by Rare Dankness, and was surprised to see how many other harder to find strains were available. The quality of the flower is on par or better than any of the other shops I’ve been to, and I appreciated that they were the only shop I’ve been to where the weight on the label actually matched what my scale said at home, so kudos for actually taring the scale! No down sides to speak of.

903. Really nice dispensary. We were greeted warmly and welcomed. They have an incredible selection of flowers and clones. Picked up a sample of the flower strains I have been wanting to try. Our Bud-tender picked through to find the best nugs and they are super dense and fragrant! We also picked up two clones. Again, our Bud-tender was great and helped us pick the best looking ones in the case! The Critical Kush clone is beautiful! Can’t wait to see her grow. The Blue Widow is a bit leggy but still strong and healthy! All in all it was a very low-key pleasant visit and we will definitely be back!

Every dispensary should have someone dedicated to online information about their business and what they offer. I don’t think you can put much stock in the thc/cbd percentages on the label I have been buying the same flower for a month and it has been consistent, until they got a new batch in that was much stronger and looked a lot different however the THC/CBD percentages where exactly the same down to .1%. When I expressed my concern to the budtender she just made light of the situation. It does make me wonder if they even send the new batches to the lab at all.

1253. This dispensary I’ve been to about 3-5 times and all have been TERRIBLE experiences. They have BAD bud with BAD trim jobs on 5+ strains I’ve tried over a few months span.

      The bud tenders I dealt with were very uneducated on cannabis and couldn’t even tell me the effects of any strains. He would say “it’s an indica feel.” Was incapable of further description of any stains I asked about even when I asked specifics provided NO HELP AT ALL, and seemed annoyed as hell by any questions besides bagging being asked to bag up some product.

      I purchased a preroll of something called I think Jack Flash and it was the ugliest joint I have ever seen in my life. Literally a person with one hand with carpal tunnel could have rolled a better one. No crutch or anything, constantly inhaling plant matter. For a dispensary this is unacceptable. And the joint only had 10% THC and no cbd LOL. I legit think it may have been trim. They only had 2 strains to choose from of these “pre rolls”

      Over priced, bad selection of bad buds, I haven’t even tried their concentrates but their standards for everything else are so low I’m not even gonna consider spending another penny here unless I’m unfortunately stuck in their area.

      The nicest lady is the front desk lady she just laminates cards and doesn’t get annoyed by your presence. That’s why they get 2 stars instead of one under service. They do have a chill atmosphere. Just some not chill employees. Some are probably cool though and they just might have some bud that isn’t covered in leaves if you look hard enough!

1297. Just an average place. Most of the flower is mid grade at best. They had a couple strains that looked and smelled fantastic, but that’s it. The budtender kept mentioning the THC%, like it matters. I know some uninformed buyers think the higher the THC% the better the flower, which is totally wrong. And I wish you didn’t perpetuate that misinformation. Check in is slow, and the single person working check-in has always been on the phone, slowing the process even further. Very annoying. And finally, the popcorn. Bad form in my opinion. It distracts from the smell of the flower, and creates two aromas that are fighting against each other. I’d like to love ya, but you have to bring in better grown flower at better prices. Extracts are also priced on the high side for the market.

1335. This is a great location to go to if you’re rolling down McLoughlin. Located next to the Stash, which is a quirky shop that gives a discount to those who purchase flower at Maritime. Decent selection at Maritime as far as variety, you def get what you pay for here. Shake for $4.20, decent bud for $10. I have enjoyed everything I’ve sampled, and the staff does a great job at describing effects. Very honest which I love. I imagine they get a lot of odd customers though, way to stay chill! Flowers are available in four price points and they are sure to have a strain to fit your needs. A good variety of BHO products, salves, lotions and munchable meds are also available. I enjoy the butters and oils so I can cook up my own medifoods at home. There is an ample parking lot. The location feels safe, the store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

As far as I am concerned the prices here are not too bad, but they are relatively cheaper than most other places i have been to. All in all, my visit was brief, but fantastic, Maritime Cafe is going to be my new go to place and I won’t have to sacrifice any quality.

This one stands out to me because the staff is very knowledgable and they have an excellent variety.
