1. The Staff is awesome, the medicine is meh… always the same, and usually out, and on top of it being a little pricey. Very clean, I just wish it didn’t have that sneaky feeling when you go pay.

2. The staff is very helpful, which is great for new patients who never smoked before. Like every other dispensary in NJ, prices are a little pricey, which will hopefully change as more dispensaries open and with the possibility of recreational legalization. Outside the parking (which stinks, but it’s not their fault; that’s Montclair), it was a good experience. Hopefully, more choices, like vape oils, will become avails here and other NJ dispensaries soon. Positive experience.

6. Today was my first visit to this (or any ATC). I am very, very impressed. I’ll start off with saying that I sent an email before I had received my card as I wasn’t aware that the vape pens weren’t yet legal in N.J. and was wondering why I wasn’t seeing any options for that method of consumption. A very kind employee returned my email within two days time letting me know about some other options which I was extremely grateful for.
   Today, they even accommodated seeing me a day early as I was easily able to get a ride. The blacked out doors were only slightly intimidating. Once inside, my anxiety went out the window.
   The staff were polite even as I asked some probably annoying questions. The lovely young lady who gave me my consultation was professional yet down to earth. She gave me some excellent advice about things I wouldn’t have even thought to ask.
   The only thing I did note was even though the staff did their best not to show it, they seemed really exhausted. Rightfully so! At the front desk the extremely kind staff member was checking people in and having to answer a non stop ringing telephone. Just from being in earshot for five mins, I could tell these guys and a lady deal with some hard to interact with individuals. The young lady is extremely smart and I believe could share even more of her knowledge if she didn’t seem so run down. Dealing with the public all day is a very difficult job. I don’t know the solution, I just felt badly as the staff did seem genuinely drained.
   I’m impressed by the quality of the product! I purchased four strains. Two were recommended to me so that means NOTHING expensive was pushed on me at all. I may have just wanted to try more then two strains as this is the beginning of a huge experiment to find out which strains will help me with my symptoms the best while being functional during the day and not comatose at night, lol.
   I felt respected and unlike I imagined- I didn’t feel judged at all. The waiting area is clean which I was VERY happy about. The chairs all very comfortable. I have a feeling this place is only going to get better and better. I really couldn’t expect more from a first time visit. Thank you.

8. As soon as I walked through the door at Greenleaf I knew I had made the right choice for medicine. The facility is clean and well-ordered, atmosphere is welcoming. The staff was what left the biggest impression, hands down- they took the time to discuss my symptoms and their selection (which was awesome, plenty of CBD and Sativas!!) as well as delivery methods and even some cooking tips. For a guy who used to have to go to a parking lot to get rid of a migraine it was a great experience. These are true professionals, and I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. Seeing the kitchen and a small bit of the process was reassuring, and the chef happily discussed method with me. Finally, may seem insignificant- childproof caps. A small safety measure that reinforced my instinct, that these are people who take Medical Cannabis seriously.

9. I’ve been a patient with Greenleaf for about a year now. Great customer service along with great store hours M-F 10-5 PM. Tim and Jose are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the different strains they have available to there patients. They always seem to have at least 2 different sativa strains, 2-3 different indica strains, and a high CBD / low THC strain in stock at all times. I would highly recommend this Dispensory to any Medical Cannabis patient in the state of NJ! The quality of there cannabis is also top notch. I’m also a Medical Cannabis patient in the state of MI, and I would rate Greenleaf’s Bud over any cannabis I’ve ever gotten in any Dispensory in MI in the past 5 years. Jose at Greenleaf Compassion is for sure a “Master Cannabis Grower”

13. This was my first experience at a dispensary and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provide. In fact I’m not sure why anyone would possibly rate them poorly. The several gentleman and lady that work there are very curtious and informative. They provide a very clean, warm and welcoming environment that impressed me. I do not have a single complaint and I would highly recommend them to any njmmp patients. Greenleaf you did a fabulous job and I look forward to setting up another appointment.

15. First off I want to start off by saying this is one of the most professional Dispensary by far in New Jersey. Being the first Dispensary in the state of New Jersey there is a HIGH LEVEL of expectations to be met. Greenleaf Compassion Center surpass them. I find there Cannabis quite the high quality. They have many different strains, there Blue Berry Kush is my favorite!. Julio who is the owner and grower is a very honest man and respectful and knows his stuff and Tiffany at the front desk is a sweet heart. Between her warm welcoming and Julio’s help i was able to be on the right path with my medication. There prices are on the high side but you pay for what you get. i truly look forward to returning in a month or so…i recommend this place by far

16. I would never go there again. First they were rude to me while making my appointment and asking questions. The blacked out windows feel so clandestine. They claim to have 8 strains but when I got there the only had 3 and not much of those and their prices are very high. I know Montclair is an expensive town but really? High prices , terrible atmosphere and rude people!You decide. Go south where the people, prices and stock are patient Freindy

17. Other than the uninviting blacked out storefront which was probly required of them and the kinda sketchy location within Montclair my two visits so far have been amazing. All calls and messages have been returned and in a timely manner, appointment availability has been excellent,same or next day. I have purchased their Finola Kush in trim (shake) and the Blueberry Kush in whole flower. the effect of the finola shake was readily apparent but the aroma didnt carry over to smell when combusted or taste when used,but the effect is what mattered and the price point. Their whole bud blueberry kush is Amazing, huge dense sticky frosted buds with a distinctly sweet blueberry candy aroma that translates well in burnt aroma and taste. It helps me ease anxiety ,pain and insomnia very well. despite the higher prices than Breakwater, I look forward to my return visits due to product quality, the kind and well educated staff, and Julio,an owner,budtender AND grower who was very pleasant and kind and generous with his time and knowledge. If you are looking for quality local medicine Greenleaf is a great place. I just hpe eventually their prices drop atleast some, or a greater discount is provided.

18. Everything I tried tastes like a hydro reservoir. The flower is early, not flushed of nutrients, and very poorly trimmed. $70 1/8th had fan leaves on all buds and almost half of it was shake. This would be good for a closet grow, ok for a basement, but is unacceptable for.a medical grow operation. Highest prices I’ve encountered, and the difference in cost more than makes up gas money to go to any of the options farther south.

    Their clear skipping of flushing the flower and maybe their system in general, can and will cause headaches and nausea.

    Staff is unaware of their current stock let alone the strain profiles. The most recent labs on njmmp website are fairly old so going here is a gamble in terms of quality. No options high in cbg/cbga. cbd concentrations are on the low side, in general less than 1:1, thca still being dominant according to the njmmp website.

    After having been to other NJ ATCs I’m really disappointed and surprised in how greenleaf chooses to operate.

22. Service is great! Unfortunately they don’t have many high CBD strains and they’re usually out of the one they do carry. Very limited menu – I assume because they got really good at stocking up on strains for people with terminal illness and haven’t really adjusted to the new influx of people – even more evident with the fact that they only have two stations. Maybe it’s great for other people but most of the google reviews and the ones I’ve read here aren’t too happy with it.

31. Excellent,Professional, Dispensery! The first in NJ and the ONLY one that was not temporarily shut down due to residual fertilizer testing failure found at the other two dispensaries at the time. Greenleaf had been 100% proven above and beyond the required legal standard and have been that way since they opened. They not only have a spotless quality and service record but their products are the best quality I’ve ever seen, particularly their high ThC Blueberry stain, which has been a lifesaver for me. I’ve been a patient since the beginning and they have always provided the absolute highest level of service and care. Worth every penny.

34. The people there are great. I use Montclair as a backup unfortunately. The variety in supply is usually slim. It’s a shame because the location is perfect and there is so much to do in that area. It’s a shame they can’t have the variety of different Nj locations.

40. Transferred from woodbridge dispensary, the quality is top notch grabbed some blueberry Kush (A+) and CBD AC/DC (A+). The Kush has strong effects, great for pain management and appetite stimulation. CBD strain is dark purple, sticky with super resin perfect for non psychoactive inflammation reduction, pain control and stimulation of cannabinoid receptors throughout the body. CBD is also what is used for its anti tumor properties. I met with the owner/grower of dispensary, he was very nice and took great pride in his products. the biggest eye opener was when he showed me his trim bags (or as woodbridge calls them shake bags). Quality difference is evident Greenleaf’s bags are visibly better with more keif sprinkled on it, woodbridges product has fan leaves chopped into it. the quality is there, the owener is a gentleman and the girl at the desk was very sweet. only down side if prices are high, as all dispensary stuff is in NJ. the atmosphere of the dispensary is nice but could be improved, I believe there’s alot of regulations that require it to be that way.. the customer care and service is great but buildings not too inviting.. thank your politician’s for the high prices and shady feel.. for what it’s worth the interior is nicer and roomier than woodbridge. all around great place and worth getting quality organic medicine from

41. Great place, id definitely recommend to a friend. Very knowledgable in all aspect from strains,street names, recipes etc. Not as much high-THC stuff as I’d like but I just smoke more then. Lots of CBD strains though and cool products like the Pax and Magic budder maker machine. Also if you can’t find the bowl or bong you need there is a smoke shop next door! haha

42. It was my first time at a dispensary. I enjoyed the experience. The employees were very polite and very down-to-earth. The quality of the flower was fantastic. I wish the prices were much lower and it really sucks that you can’t smell the cannabis before you buy it because that’s how I like to determine what I’m going to buy. New Jersey really needs to fix its medical marijuana laws to make it much easier on the patients. It’s way too restrictive. No edibles or concentrates? the selection of flower was widespread for only 8 strains and they had every add ailment covered with a few sativas, indicas, and hybrids. with high thc %. The blueberry kush was 26-28%thc. Very tasty and an extremely well grown. No complaints. I would happily go there every week if I could afford it

43. I’m really not for sure why there are such bad reviews/recommendations running around about this place. Yeah it’s not much to look at from the outside, but it’s in a town that I’m sure doesn’t want a big POT FOR SALE sign hanging out on a busy walking street.

    The staff are friendly and follow the laws to the T. The waiting area is very nice and clean with lazy boy seating. The sales guys in the back are very friendly, offering some of the freshest bud I’ve found in NJ. If you’re a novice or first timer, they are very happy to give advice and have not as of yet pushed expensive strains on me. I honestly recommend this place.

44. This is the first dispensary in New Jersey. The windows are blacked out, the place is dingy, and the person at the front desk was rude. There were no menus and you basically have to take their word for it. As far as the quality of the products, I went with the blueberry Kush which was billed at 28% THCA and Snow Dawg. The blueberry Kush was dried out and broke up like hay. Maybe 2 g of solid Bud in the entire quarter. Out of five stars I would give that a three. The Snow Dawg was better but at 135 per quarter I felt ripped off.
