1. Every time I go to this lovely place I am amazed. Rachel, the lovely lady gave me a amazing recommendations that I ended up getting most of, everything I hit was literally the best shit I have had. If you love old school hash (like I do) this place will blow your sox off. I recommend for hash the nilla cookies by funky skunk (mt Vernon), also the lemon og by sugar leaf. For flowers, Ewok!!!!!, Pablo’s gold, and definitely double dream. But honestly you can’t go wrong, they don’t carry bull shit. Price is very fair, my only wish is a small amount of glass (just the essentials). Still the best damn pot store I have ever shopped at (I have been to many).

7. Stopped by OZ. on one of my days in Seattle and I have to say it was by far my favorite dispensary while in Seattle. The location was nice and the environment inside was very welcoming. You walk in and everything is organized and easy to navigate through for endless options! The staff was very friendly and had great knowledge on their products. They were even nice when I had asked about vegan friendly edibles for my girlfriend.
   And it was rad that I got to talk to Ben and Janise about the dispensary lifestyle and what it’s like to work in one. They made me feel very welcomed to the city too when they informed me on the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ for Seattle.
   Thanks again to Ben and Janise and the rest of the OZ. Team for making my first dispensary experience one worth remembering!

9. Convenient for those chilling at Gas Works Park. People and products were cool, atmosphere seemed a little off for a dispensary, but that’s just my opinion.

10. Stopped in with a friend of mine yesterday. Although I did not interact with the staff much, they were very personable to all other customers. A great, no-nonsense rec shop.

11. Within a 10 block radius of where I live in Seattle (98103) there are 6 places I can go to. Of them all, this is my #1 place. Owners and staff know everything that you need to know about different strains. Not like some places where they have no clue and make poor recommendations. There’s also a quality control process with the growers that they represent. And from what I can tell and see… prices are very competitive. Every so often they have “value packs” that’s worth looking into… check the website for current deals. Love this place. Check it out if you’re in the area. You’ll be glad that you did.

12. When I visit Seattle, OZ is my Go-To Rec store for a number of reasons

    OZ has provided me hands down the best customer service out of approximately 10 recreational locations around Seattle that I have visited, so much so, this reason alone is enough to keep me coming back. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and they keep their word. Not like several stores I visited who’s Budtenders did not understand my request to be shown all of the solvent-less extracts. On 2 separate occasions the staff far exceeded my expectations on resolving a product malfunction and left me feeling like they valued me as a patron.

    I really like the unique method the menu is displayed. Clipboards are neatly hung on the walls, color coded and organized by flower, concentrate, edibles and pre-rolls, You can see the strain type, the grower, the process method, the thc analysis, weight and size options all in a clear, easy to read format. For me, this provides me the crucial information I need to make an educated purchase, Most other locations do not provide all this information and often did not know the answers when asked. Putting this information in an easy to digest format saves me the hassle of asking the Budtender so many questions. The Budtenders at OZ were very helpful and knowledgeable in answering any questions I posed to them….it may be speculated BOB=GOD 🙂

    The selection has always been broad and tantalizing. It will keep the cannabis connoisseur happy. The high grade selections continue to expand and please!

    It is a very chill environment. If you want to spend your dollars at a family run business with real life smarts that cares about keeping you as a customer, instead of one staffed with hipster teenagers with only E-skillz then I think you will really enjoy getting your cannabis products at OZ.

13. Great spot with wonderful budtenders. Got a great deal on my fav flower and the people there are super nice and great to interact with. The deal on oz’s are great and I’ll be back for sure.

14. It’s great here, spacious with windows (doesn’t make me feel like i’m walking into some hippie joint or an underground grow operation). everything they have is posted on the wall. it’s pretty clear and organized.

16. There’s 3 shops within walking distance of my house and OZ is my favorite for many reasons. I like the vibe, staff, selection, and most of all prices- I think they have some of the best in the region, certainly in my neighborhood. I got a vape pen from there and the battery broke while it was charging. I brought it back and the guy literally didn’t even say a word: he just smiled, took the broken one from my hands put it down, and gave my a new one. I was on my way within 5 seconds. I’ve never had a better customer service experience anywhere in any industry.

18. Every time I come here everyone is so nice. They’re also knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They have these clipboards up showing strains, their flavor/smell/affects, as well as the prices. Most prices are reasonable and they have some good sales. Want to try out other shops, but this one is so good it’s hard to stray.

    Summary:
    Clipboards allllll along the wall instead of BUD or Concentrates! No flower tower off any kind can only view buds are concentrate if asking to view specific ones. Makes purchase by other customers take longer if they’re not looking for help. Very dry atmosphere. owner is very knowledgeable however and makes good recommendations and has a lot of passion. nice quality buds, doesn’t try to saturate with large amounts of bad brands. Honestly the no display for buds is a killer for this store I highly recommend they do away with the clipboard idea and switch to a display of some kind.

25. I went in for the first time yesterday because Leafly found it to have 2 strains I wanted. accurate menu and definitely stocked with quality. Speaking of menus, they place each strain/product and description on its own piece of paper with a large font, then hang it on a clipboard. This makes viewing the menu incredibly easy an efficient – I wish other dispensaries would take note of that.

    Staff answered all my questions honestly and were nice but my big call out is they let me shop at my own pace and get help when I was ready. A far more common dispensary experience is someone calls you up next in line and you stand in front of them while you shop – this makes it pretty awkward when you haven’t quite decided but also don’t have any questions. You don’t get that here, which is so nice!

26. Out of the 20 or so shops I’ve been to in Seattle, OZ. is still my favorite.

    The reasons, OZ. is number one are several.

    First off, price-wise OZ. is excellent. Although you won’t find ike’s style 6 dollar grams, that is because Ike’s is selling garbage weed. Oz.’s growers are thoroughly vetted and the owner is willing to chat you up on each grower they purchase from.

    Beyond the bargain basement low-quality pot shops that sell pesticide-pot (liberty reach), there are quality pot shops around town. Ruckus in Capitol Hill for example. However, OZ.’s prices are just a little bit better. Bougie fancier shops like Stash, while carrying nice product, often charge silly markups. Obviously, all pot is marked up from the grower. Such is the nature of 502.

    Oz. however when it comes to grow selection, and quality of growers, and price the best.

    Oz. is also from a user design perspective, the best. The store is airy and clean with an organized full-wall display of the strains available on the wall.

    The budtenders are patient and knowledeable. I’d send my grandmother here if she wanted to purchase some cannabis

27. This was a very organized and informative dispensery, each item they had for sale was described on a full sheet of paper and hung on clipboards (covering the walls of the store) along with pricing.

30. Really like OZ. It’s a little more expensive for cartridges there, but their flower prices are reasonable considering they carry a lot of high end bud. They almost always have flower on sale too, and you can buy trimmings for making cannabutter.

    Great customer service, and dog friendly too.

35. Great shop! This has been my go-to place for the last 6 months. They have a huge selection of cartridges and the people running the place are cool. There’s often a dog passed out on the floor which I think speaks volumes for the ambience here. Just a chill neighborhood shop. Extra cool points for having 2x ATMs on site with something like a $0.50 fee, much appreciated!

If you like to study all of your choices, here’s the best thing about OZ, their clipboard walls! Here are the walls, covered in clipboard with easy to read info on all of the strains and products. A bonus is this is all printed in big type and color coded, so easy to use.

39. If you’re reading reviews to try and decide, just stop and go here. I wish I could give a 6 star rating! They’re patient and professional for those new to (or freshly back into) the legal scene while still being very knowledgeable for the dedicated smoker. Great prices, nice store front, good products. Well done!

40. Best shop in Seattle and it’s not even close IMO. Vibe is friendly and inviting; they card you only when you’re ready to make a purchase, so no bouncer-like check at the door. Staff is laid-back but professional. But really what sets them apart is the freaking MENU. Say goodbye to word-vomited walls, ever-shifting television screens (or worse, iPads). It’s a large, easy to read, organized, and efficiently-communicated collection of clipboards that line the wall. I honestly don’t get how other stores haven’t caught on. OZ is the only store I go to, if I can help it.

41. I’ve been to a total of 13 rec stores from Olympia to Bellingham, and have never been compelled to write a review until today. Easily the best store in the Seattle area and among the best in Western Washington. Great selection of flower/concentrate/edibles, and very good prices.

    Their budtenders are both friendly and honest, which is sadly a rarity in this industry right now. Oh, and they update their menu daily and organize it in a way so you know exactly what you’re getting. Like hybrids but want something more indica dominant? Or maybe you have no idea what I just said. Either way, the people here can help you out. Highly recommended.

He had tons of great things to say about each strain and did it with positive enthusiasm, which I missed from some of the other shops. Amazing FRESH bud compared to some other shops. 47. When driving down Stone Way, I have my choice of several dispensaries — but Oz is the one I stop at. Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and their last recommendation of PNW Grower’s GDP has brought me a new favorite. Their clipboard menu system makes my head spin a little, but I usually just use their online Leafly menu anyway.

48. At first when I saw the prices I thought no way this cant be right… Everywhere else charges upwards of $100 for a quarter, but not here. Good selection, best prices, awesome staff and a cool ass dog.. How can that be beat? I come in about once a week and have happily recommended this shop to my friends. Keep up the good work!

49. I stop into this shop about twice a week. The staff is amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and love sharing what they know. The pricing is amazing and the product is great. They always have a great selection!!

50. This location is a little different than others, which can be good and bad. It is different in that they do not have the typical glass counters displaying all the products, rather they have clipboards hanging floor-to-ceiling all around the store. If you are versed in cannabis and know what you are looking for, this method might appeal to you. If you are new, it might be seem a little overwhelming. Bob, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. He chatted with me about high-CBD strains and really seemed to know his stuff. They also seemed to have better-than-average prices compared to other shops in the area.

51. I will freely give this shop 5 stars. They deserve it. Superb, unhurried service, wide selection, information at your fingertips, excellent price range… I’ll go ahead and say this is my new favorite shop in town. I just wish it was in West Seattle!!

52. Oz is a great Cannabis shop for those living in or visiting Seattle. Unlike many shops, apart from some paraphernalia on display, they do not line the walls with products as many shops do. They adorn their walls with clipboards, one for every strain they sell. These clip boards show the name and details of each strain, grouped by type (Sativa, Indica, High CBD, etc.), and even are marked if they have run out of that particular strain to make things easy.

    While it was not busy the times I went in, if it were this would be a great way to peruse the menu without having to shove your way past anyone, giving customers an easy way to peruse what is available and get an idea of what they would like to buy.

    The product quality was excellent for the couple of strains I purchased, and the selection was one of the largest in the area. Conveniently located on Stone Way, about a 5 minute walk from the Fremont Troll, this is definitely one of the best shops to choose from that will provide ample selection of high quality product, and a friendly and attentive staff to guide your way to the best flower for you.

53. After trying several red shops in town, we finally made it to Oz. Which is one of several shops within walking distance of our place.

    We were immediately struck by the clean, modern aesthetic of the shop. It felt modern and a place people of all ages would feel comfortable buying products.

    We went on a Saturday morning and were lucky enough to have a lot of one on one time with the budtenders who were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and gave a really genius explanation about what ratios of CBD/THC were analogous to non-cannabis pain relievers I have used in the past when trying to select a type of breath strip to use for back and knee pain.

    They gave other great insights into growers and a number of topics that I found extremely interesting and helpful.

    Their online menus are also worthy of note, as they are one of the few around here that really spell out in detail what a user can expect to taste, smell, and feel. This is so much more important to me than a list of percentages and growers which only give one a fraction of the story.

    We will definitely return in the future and I highly urge everyone to check them out. Excellent job, all.

55. This is far and away my favorite location in Seattle. All the folks are friendly and helpful and all of the strains I have tried have been very good and priced reasonably. I recently tried a new grower up their recommendation, Canna Herb, and they are on to something, very, very good and priced excellently. Thanks Oz.!

56. I’ve been coming here since they opened and they have gotten better and better. They staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The store is clean and bright. They even have a adorable Retriever behind the counter who is very friendly. I’ve never felt better at a dispensary.

61. I live in and have always shopped in Everett. However, I visited this location on NYE by chance and decided that this is my GO TO shop. The clipboard system is amazing, and the people in the shop are knowledgeable and are not afraid to tell you that they haven’t tried something. The setup is very clean, and that 50 cent surcharge for the ATM is amazing. I will most definitely be shopping here from now on.

66. Oz is simply the friendliest and most professional recreational store we have in Seattle. The selection is phenomenally high quality. They stock an amazing pre-filled cartridge with a ceramic heating element that I haven’t seen anywhere else. The “clipboard menu” is a huge draw for me — if you’re knowledgeable about cannabis, finding exactly what you’re looking for is a snap. Even when the shop is at it’s busiest, I’ve never felt rushed and the budtenders treat you like old friends. Flowers and concentrates are both high quality.

    And Sophie, the dog, is (p)awesome.

    I come here once a week and Oz is my primary vendor. And to believe I heard about the quality of this spot from someone who doesn’t even smoke weed!

69. Incredible selection and great deals. Don’t be afraid of the cheaper stuff, these guys are legit – I’ve spent double for half as much, that didn’t grind up or vape half as nice, from a local store. They offer a few higher-concentration edibles along with standard 10mg/per candies and baked goods – a real boon if you barely get a buzz off the common stuff. Both guys at the counter were active and attentive, as was the friendly store dog. It’s a good half hour out of my way compared to a lot of other shops, but I’ll be making the trip again for sure.
