Have a Heart Greenwood is the third member of the Have a Heart family and is our second recreational shop in the Seattle area. Our long relationships with local growers have allowed us to provide a wide array of well priced and highly sought after recreational marijuana and marijuana products. Our location provides easy access to recreational marijuana in a location that is fairly undeserved and our staff has been hand picked to provide our guests with the best experience possible. We welcome you to our new location and look forward to serving you.

Follow up to my visit. Bought a vape pen for my first time, after noticing it didn’t work I came back with the full cartridge and receipt. I did not know that the policy was that the wrapping must accompany the cartridge in order for it to be returned. That’s cool I can work with that but one of the tenders were horribly rude and insulting. I wasn’t talking to her and explained my situation to another person and she just screams “NO RETURNS UNLESS YOU HAVE A RECEIPT!” across the entire store with a proud enthusiasm as if she just thwarted a thief. I had no ill intentions and the entire encounter was unnecessary. Luckily another tender was kind enough to apologize for her actions. I was really disappointed.
Love this place for buying wax. They have a great selection of just about everything (not just wax).
They need to update their menu more regularly; I got all psyched out wanting to go donate a bunch of money but they didn’t have any of the wax on their menu =

I visited this dispensary for the first time the other day. All I can say is that I will no longer go ANYWHERE else. This place understands that it’s about safe access and quality medication. My previous experience with dispensaries is that they try to cut out the middle man and try to produce EVERYTHING themselves. The problem is that they are not good at producing others product which in turns becomes substandard medication all the while the dispensary owner gets rich. The people here are wonderful, happy and knowledgeable. I can believe what they tell me about the medication they are providing to me. I hope more dispensaries use this one as a model. This shop has very friendly, helpful staff, great hours, and some delightful flowers. I highly recommend “DutchBerry” by Artizen or “Starfighter” by From the Soil.

The budtenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and don’t rush you. Everything I saw on the menu was quality and the dab bar is clutch. I will be back often, especially since it’s on the way home from work.
Usually everything is great and it would be 5 stars all the way down. On this visit they suggested a certain kind of bud and said it was on sale. I went over and looked at it, it was alright Smelling and looking but I went ahead and got an eighth of it. When it came time to pay I got the whole “actually this kind isnt on sale, its this other kind, is that or do u want that kind?”
I was in a hurry so I went ahead and got it. Got home and smoked it, terrible. Now I have a reason to go check out other dispensaries in the area.
Have been coming since I moved to the greenwood neighborhood. Awesome staff, with a great selection. Love it and its my go to shop from now on.

This was my first time ever visiting a dispensary and I made the right choice. Have a Heart has a unique vibe that I hadn’t expected. Great colors, lighting, decor, ambiance, and overall experience. Was greeted by a friendly and energetic receptionist who quickly got me through the sign-up process, showed me around, and got me to the show room. Product selection was good and fairly expansive. Suggested donations were good – a lot of great looking strains for $10 donations. Brought home two recommended sativa dominant strains and have enjoyed both. My budtender Woody took care of me. Will definitely visit this dispensary again.
I LOVE this shop!!! They have by far the friendliest and coolest employees of any weed store I’ve ever been in. They’re all so knowledgeable about the products they carry. I go with the budtenders suggestions every time and have not been disappointed yet! I always look forward to my next Have a Heart visit. Fo sho!!
I visited this store for the first time and l loved the way they merchandised the flower. It made it easy for me to see everything that they were featuring and making a selection was a snap. Very helpful and respectful staff. I will visit again. I found my new favorite strain – Tangie here.
I could not be more pleased that a place like this is now in the Greenwood area. Not only are the employees kind and welcoming (from the door to the counter) but everyone truly knows their stuff. Could be a little warmer from an ambience standpoint, but the service and product are excellent!

They put me at ease coming from the medical side and offer a medical discount. They offer cbd products at reasonable prices and have the quality names in 502.
They did not honor their first time patient discount.

I’ve visited a couple of shops in the neighborhood but Have a Heart is my go to place. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable, which as a novice I appreciate. They’ve helped me find products for all occassions from road trips to CBD products for my wife’s chemo. Last time Ramon hooked me up with a Blue Dream cartridge and some Zoots candy and both worked out great.
If you need some hand holding this is the perfect place to go.

The guys and girls at Have a Heart are great people. They’re always fair, friendly, and just generally enjoyable to be around. John in particular was really awesome – friendly and talkative. He is pretty much one of the reasons that I love this place so much! Really good meds as well – Have a Heart is my new go-to spot.
This is my favorite dispensary, used to come here when it was medical. We came here on vacation from our new home in N. Dakota and this was the only dispensary I want to go to.
I’ve been coming to Have A Heart for awhile, previously as a medical patient. They’ve always got a great atmosphere, budtenders, and product. Most fresh flowers I’ve found at a Rec shop thus far, will keep coming here. Multiple locations in Seattle which is awesome!
My favorite dispensary in all of Seattle for sure! these guys know what they’re doing and they are very helpful,, and I really like the fact that they have three locations makes it really convenient, no matter what part of town I’m in..I can pick up my meds, try the cactus its awesome!!!

I”ve been in 3 times now and (and a couple times into the Fremont location, but Greenwood is a regular stop for me) the tenders have been super friendly and knowledgeable even when it gets busy. Fairly large, and definitely quality selection. 3 of my staples come from here. My real complaint would be the place is a tad bit sterile feeling which isn’t helped by the *very* dim lighting in this location. Some additional, and warmer, lighting would be nice as it just feels a bit cold. This spot was a smalll dance club off and on for years and years and it needs to shake that vibe still. 🙂 One of my favorite shops nearby overall.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Place is small but the quality of the goods and variety is good.
Went there tonight, and it was mostly positive. I was surprised, given the reviews, at the gaps in the budtender’s knowledge of his product. I was choosing between three strains, CO2 oil cartridges, and he didn’t seem to know which were more sativa- vs indica-dominant. I wouldn’t necessarily expect someone to know that right off hand, but at least be able to find out.
That said, I’m a pretty hard grader, so all in all, this was much much better than a lot of other dispensaries I’ve been to. And the atmosphere was pretty great.
I wish they (or anyone, right now) had cannatonic in a CO2 oil. (hint, hint) I settled for the Sound Wellness, and so far, I like it, though it makes the tinnitus (which I get with ANY amount of CBD) a lot worse. But pretty good pain relief and body wellness-feeling, very very little head high, which is exactly how I like it.
Stopped by for some flower and a few edibles, was blown away on their selection and prices. Will definitely be coming back.

This has been a nice local place to get bud. The customer service has been friendly and consistent. The bud is good quality and affordable. We sometimes wish there were better deals for buying in quantity, but overall, this place has been really nice.
So lucky to have this as my neighborhood shop. Great selection, clean, welcoming environment, but the best are the people that work there. You never feel rushed, starting with security at the door all the way through until you head back home. Always there and happy to answer questions.

This is by far the best dispensary in Seattle. I always feel welcome and comfortable when I walk in the door. The thing I like the most about Have a Heart is that they really care about what they sell and think about how to give customers the best experience possible. Had no issue finding what I needed. I prefer higher CBD strains and the clerk was very helpful and patient. Concentrates prices were a little steep, but as is the case in most of Ballard. Overall, I’m stoned.
Great people and products
This is my second post. Update they still rock. Secretly I’ve gone to some other shops but I always come back to have a heart. They have the best quality bud I have ever had in my life and I would like to call myself a Weed connoisseur. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody I recommend that based on prices especially based on quality and especially based on the customer service! Just give them a try I’m sure you’ll be back.
I used to drice down to the Skyway location because of the great prices and inventory. I’m so glad the opened up the Greenwood location closer to me. Been there several times and it always rocks, these guys are awesome.
My favorite thing to do is walk in and ask what I’m missing out on. Budtenders here are very friendly and informed in comparison to most rec shops.

It’s pretty cool employees
This is the main location I go to! However, one of the ladies unfortunately came off to a bad start with me when my boyfriend and I went in one night, she proceeded to tell me I looked young enough to be her sister. Granted my guy does LOOK much older than me, but that’s not something you should comment on to anyone. -_- she apologized but it kinda left a bad taste in my mouth…so I usually try to get one of the other budtenders to help me out, and they’re always friendly and greet us when we come in. All in all, my favorite location.

If only all stores could learn how to serve the customer the same way Have a Heart does at the Greenwood location. It only took a few visits for the team to recognize me when I walked in the door, and they are always super helpful in making a selection. The bud is great, the vibes are great, and everyone there is the type of person you’d wanna kick back and have a beer (or blunt) with. Very happy with this location and would come back to greenwood even if I moved to another part of the city. It’s the number one rated dispensary for a reason.

With an excellent staff and diverse menu, I was pleasantly surprised when the prices were quite agreeable with my finances. The items I purchased were priced at least 20% below what I paid for the same items at “another store”. I will be exclusively be visiting this store for all my Cannabis products dY’dY1/4

All the tenders are super knowledgeable , the selection is always great and they bring in cultivators to talk about their product which was very educational.
The staff was very helpful, but I bought a vape cartridge and the next day it quit working after only a couple of puffs.
I called to ask if I could return it one day after the seven day, as I live out of the city and wouldn’t be back in until eight days.
I get they have a policy, but I called within that time (less than 24 hours) and they would not give me any wiggle room.
Plenty of shops to try that treat customers with care, or as they say, with a heart.
I am also sharing this with info with the friend who sent me there. Two customers lost for 12 extra hours and 24 bucks.
This place is great I love it, very friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with the taste of the bud I get here. Some of the best I’ve ever smoked.

This place is not wheelchair accessible. I tried to go there shortly after it opened, but as soon as I tried to use the crappy asphalt “ramp” they have, it literally crumbled underneath my front wheels.

Their dab bar is AMAZING. Not only are all the receptionists VERY friendly, but all the budtenders are beyond knowledgeable & helpful. Q & Warren are my favorite budtenders because they constantly suggest great product. For post-dancing activities they suggested an indica infused bath salth and it worked WONDERS. Their inventory of prosuct has the highest quality in Seattle. Medibles, flowers, etc..everything is perfect. 🙂 thank you H.A.H!
It was awesome! The dispensary was like most higher end dispensaries i have been to with fairly good procing. Upstairs they have their dab bar and the best feature about this dispensary. It was so cool they just had tons pf really cool dab rigs all over the place and they play pretty good music to just hang out and smoke to.

I’ve been to several collectives in the Seattle area, and this one blows the others out of the water! Donations are great, staff is super friendly and knowledgable, and it’s a chill environment. Daily specials and punch cards are fab, since I come 1-2 times weekly. I feel like I’m always walking away with a deal or freebie! The dab bar is dope, and green selection is a wide variety. The lounge area is like a giant couch filled living room that you can smoke and chill. I’ve told everyone I know with a card about this place, and they all say it’s they’re new spot! Tyler, Q, and the older short man are my faves!

I’ve been to this store twice. The first time I was helped by a man that appeared to be the owner or manager. He was very helpful with recommending strains.
The second time I was helped by a woman (Amber?) that was also very helpful and recommended several different strains including Hash.
The store and, even more importantly, the staff is top rate. Too bad I live about 2,000 miles from here and only visit once a year.
This is a great place to get meds! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and great strains. Tyler helped me out and knew exactly what I needed, the hybrid I got was just right and the concentrate he recommended was out of this world. I will definitely be coming back again!

This is by far one of the best dispensaries in the area for selection, knowledgable staff, weekly specials, and a level of customer service which emulates that of a community coming together for healing. As a disabled person, they’ve been incredibly considerate and made recommendations while offering sage advice on how to use the medicine to the best of my benefit. I would recommend anyone wary of the experience to visit Have A Heart Cafe and feel safe, well taken care of, and most of all optimistic that the staff really does want to aid others in chronic pain…and all with a smile on their faces. (A nice bonus when you’re used to being stared at for your disability.)

Truly one of the best stores for patients to go to after the new transition this spring and summer. The guys and gals here make visiting this place all around worthwhile. The bud tenders are not only knowledgeable but also personable when it comes to pairing your mood at purchase with the best cannabis strain to enjoy after you leave. The space/ space ship styled theme of the decorations is an added bonus. If you’re looking for honesty, a chill atmosphere, and great deals both regular and seasonal, then come to Greenwood’s best recreational cannabis shop, Have-A-Heart. I think my dog Lucy loves it more than I do because they feed her dog treats. Did I mention they love dogs?

Tyler, one of the budtenders when I visited was extremely helpful and very professional towards me, not minding how long I took to pick out and letting me check out a wide variety of everything on hand. No doubt the most professional place I have been to.

I’m still getting used to this new world of recreational shops and this one certainly sets itself apart. Employees were friendly, helpful and gave plenty of space to shop. Which is good because the flower selection is almost overwhelmingly huge with lots of great choices. The layout reminds me of a boutique jewelry or candy shop with examples of all the options displayed behind glass along the walls. However, between getting carded at the door and the loud music, you can still feel the spirit of the old dance club that used to be in this space. This is a fun location and worth checking out.
I am extremely satisfied with my first visit to Have a Heart CC last week. Their wide selection could have been enough to get me to come back, but should not overshadow the service and knowledge of the staff. I was helped by Warren, without a doubt the most knowledgable dispensary staff I have come across, he knows everything about everything and it was very helpful to hear his detailed experiences with the products before I made a decision. I give this place my full endorsement.
I love Have a Heart and Fremont Gardens for their consistency and quality. But most of all I enjoy the interactions I have with budtenders and fellow patients. I was extremely disappointed by my first visit to the dab lounge on 06/20/13 around 6:30 -7:30 PM due to one of the employees.
I was having a great time talking with other patients and and enjoying the great variety of concentrates and generally “chill” ambiance. I began speaking with two girls that had made their way from Arlington just to check the cafe out. As soon as I began speaking with them the employee managing the dab bar became a bit defensive and began to start talking about the amazing amount of weed and concentrates he had in his personal collection, even extending a loose invitation to his place of residence as they where “patients” (To be fair, he did give a great explanation on seasoning a titanium nail.)
He continued to “show off” for some time even pulling out a huge bag from under the conter of what I would say was no less than a QP of dry flowers. He did all of this while completely ignoring me and derailing any attempt of interaction I made. Eventually all of us decided to leave as the previously chill environment had quickly morphed into a “show and tell” session.
I have immense respect for Have a Heart and its knowledgeable and friendly staff but was left extremely offended and put off by my experience.
Please hire staff that are sensitive to patients and provide an inclusive atmosphere. I will not be passing by the Have a Heart Cafe when this employee the particular employee is present as I refuse to submit myself to his ego.

I’ve been to a few legal stores and this one is definitely among the best. They have a great selection, great service and the location can’t be beat. The staff is always super friendly and informative, too. The place is a bit dark due to the lack of windows, but really that’s how a lot of them are. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for some herbal refreshment, Have a Heart is a great place to go!

It is close to my work, everyone there is always friendly, and seem to be genuinely happy to be doing their job (who wouldn’t be?). They are knowledgeable in their products, have recommended great flavors, or even the best deal for the best price and quality for when on a budget. I have gone other places where it feels sterile and a bit awkward and where the flower is over priced for the quality (even if it is good there is no reason someone should have to pay 20 for a gram of anything, that is like freshman in high school prices). Have a Heart does not take advantage of those who choose to partake by over charging, there are more expensive options for those who feel that the more they spend the better it has to be, but for those of us who have had medical, have grown, and know what to look for there is always something at a reasonable price, especially when compared to the market. From the security out front to the tenders and managers this place is very well run. Plus there hours are awesome. Have a Heart rocks

Have a Heart Cafe now offers a bike delivery service!!! This place has just gotten 1000x better! Access to their excellent meds from the comfort of your couch (there is nothing better than chillin on the couch, watching old Simpsons episodes and waiting for your prescription to arrive. It’s pretty much Christmas) Deliveries take about half an hour, and they’ll bring change if you need it. Notes about deliveries: service begins after 4pm. $50 minimum. And remember TIP YOUR DELIVERY FOLK WELL, PEOPLE!
I noticed this new gem open up in the heart of Greenwood. I am so glad Have A Heart is recreational now in this neighborhood, when talking to the budtender I found out it is also going to be hybrid medical designated so patients can access their meds here in the near future 🙂 !! It was really inviting, the staff was educated on what they were selling. It was all new and shiny on the inside, I like the feel! It is going to be my GO TO store. Keep up the good selections!
The strains are good. I have visited this dispensary 3x and so far tried the Gorilla Glue 4, Cherry pie, and the Blue Dream. I prefer the Gorilla Glue out of those strains.

I absolutely love this place. The dab bar is what attracted me to this location, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. It’s pretty cool to be able to sample concentrates, especially when you are interested in bringing something new home. Tyler has been the dabtender the few times I’ve been in. He is so friendly and very knowledgeable about what he is serving. Have A Heart in the UDistict isn’t just a dab bar, there is a lounge and a collective. I went into the collective once for some concentrate, and they blew me away with the vast selection. This place is super clean, has a friendly and knowledge staff, superior selection of concentrates ( I only use concentrates), fair prices and has a vape lounge/dab bar. I will definitely be going in regularly.
Location is great. It is in the heart of Greenwood, where all the nightlife n crowds are…and also runs along a busy street. Close to home too.

I have been to Have a Heart on Greenwood 3-4 times now, and each time I am able to get good quality buds for fair prices. I really enjoyed the OG Kush, the Tangerine Power, Sour Lemon OG, and Cherry Pie.
The location is very clean, organized, and discreet, yet close and convenient for those living in North Seattle.

Heartless at Have a Heart
I have been a medical patient in the states of CA and then WA for the past 15 years. Upon moving to Washington State, I had my medical records forwarded and received my prescription in September of 2010. I have been a regular customer of Have a Heart for the past 2-2 A1/2 years. During this time I have witnessed to collective move from a friendly, almost family, vibe (with employees inviting patients to collective hosted functions) to a profit driven corporation (prices have been raised, quality has dropped, and the needs of patients are neglected). Here is an account of my most recent, and presumably, last visit to the collective:
In early July I went to the collective to procure needed medicine and left my prescription after purchasing my medicine. A few days ago I noticed my medicine was running low and began looking for my prescription (it is usually in my file cabinet), I suddenly realized that I may have left it at the collective. So I called them…and that’s when things got very interesting and my eyes were opened to exactly where the company’s priorities lie.
I began by explaining the situation and was told that my prescription had indeed been left at the collective and that my medical documentation had been shredded. After overcoming my initial shock and processing how exactly I would go about obtaining my medicine I asked why my medical documentation had been shredded without any attempt to contact me? I was then told they called me on several occasions and were not able to reach (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s), I felt this to be untrue so I inquired about which phone number they had used, after looking me up in the system she was forced to admit they had not called me or made any effort to contact me. I was then told that it wasn’t a problem because I would need to renew my prescription soon anyway (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s), this was also untrue (remember my prescription was issued on 9/10/2010). I was then told that my prescription was not valid if it didn’t have an expiration date (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s) to which I inquired about why the collective had been allowing me in and selling me medicine for the past 2 years. My inquiry was not responded to… My next question was about why they hadn’t tried to contact me via mail (my address is on the prescription, my state issued identification, and the application I needed to fill out to be allowed into the collective initially). I was told this would be a violation of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s). Due to the nature of the work that I do, I know this to be untrue as well. In fact, medical records are required to be maintained for up to 6 years. Each violation of HIPAA, from my understanding, results in a $10,000 fine. I then expressed my frustration that the collective, with no posted disclosure or effort made to inform me, destroyed my medical records documenting my need for medicinal cannabis thus putting me into a position where I would need to obtain a new prescription, which under a law that was enacted in 2011 (remembering I was grandfathered in having received mine in 2010) would now require me to annually renew the prescription and pay any fees associated with this. I was told aEUR~why didn’t you call us earlier to tell us you had lost it?’ (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s). I am saddened that as a state Washington legislators have decided to eliminate the medical market, forcing patients to pay higher prices for lower quality goods through the state’s recreational market. But the fact that established medical providers are treating their patients with such disregard is actually frightening, I am without my medical documentation and the managers of Have a Heart are not even returning my calls to address the issue (it’s the patient’ fault not the company’s).
Considering the volume of medical providers in the Seattle area, I would strongly encourage patients to take their money elsewhere in hopes of actually promoting compassionate caregiving in this industry and protecting this sacred plant which we all love.

In my opinion, few dispensaries deserve a 5-star review in each category, however, the Have A Heart Cafe experience is unlike (and better than) any other dispensary I’ve visited in Washington (including their other networked locations). Their staff is knowledgeable, and the meds are dense/quality. Always a good time, thanks Dani!

Though parking can be an issue, I love the location b/c I can hit up the grocery store right by it, get cash back and cross the street and get my bud… very handy for a busy mom ’cause who needs one more stop! Each time I’ve been there the staff has been great. I let them know my budget and they give me options and info. They display their goods like jewelry, so it’s nice and clean.

At Have a Heart, you’ll notice the constant changes of which are mostly catered towards the collective for the benefit of all patients. Initially, their sign caught me off gaurd as `Cafe’ stood out a bit, and with all the Love in the air, passing up the adventure wasn’t likely – So I went inside. The first place entered was extraordinarily swank for the typical patient care facility, greeters were far too caring, much too much marble, etc., it was realized that yes, Have a Heart was right next door… No worries however, their facility too was if not great, extraordinary none the less! From the moment I had entered, the typical pretty lady was available to greet me, other wondering clerks to converse with me, and really, every area of the place was filled with Love in whichever analogical context of your choosing; The distractions.
Should I tell you more about the place, doubt may arise (especially about the lounge, cafe, bar, lobby/chill-zone).. The flowers, unnecessary to get into all of that right now. It would be wise to consider hearts in motion abound by Love… It’s the place to be for sure.
Ive been going to have a heart cafe for the past 6 months now and Id have to say their medicine has always been great quality. BUT the service has honestly been mediocre almost every time. I hate it when the bud tenders pressure me into spending more money. I wish the atmosphere of the store was patient first instead of money first.
This is my favorite recreational shop. They have the best prices anywhere around, and the price you see on the shelf is the final price you pay. Their cheapest grams ($8-$10) are not shwag, but fairly decent smoke! They have a huge selection, with new brands/flavors coming in often.
The shop is very open, and always seems to have plenty of bud-tenders so the wait is very minimal. I have always had a good customer experience.
Also, this shop gets my business because they open an hour before any others, at 8am.
I choose this location mainly because of the prices, quick service, and good pot.
Always love stopping in here, and I especially love the location’s convenience in relation to my daily schedule- right in the heart of he U-Dist.
The staff has always been friendly, and there is always some deal going on (depending on which day you visit). On my last visit, one of their tenders, Woody, offered helpful recommendations and elaborated on all the intake options available. The staff also has a great rapport with their clients and eachother. They also throw events occasionally, making it that much better than your typical dispensary.

I’m happy I finally made it in here for the solstice because this place is definitely one of the best dispensaries I’ve been to when it comes to offering the total package in a professional manner. They have a vaporizer lounge where you can rent a volcano, a dab bar that was not creepy and a secure, well-stocked dispensary. Everyone was very friendly and willing to go over things as it was my first time in. The budtender was patient with me even though I changed my mind half-way through and decided to go with the Strawberry Cough that they had on special. Best part is that even though it was discounted, it wasn’t just the old dry stuff that they wanted to get rid of like the specials at some places; they were still decent looking flowers and plenty effective. I also got a free edible for my first time, but they were happy to substitute a free pre-roll since I prefer to make my own edibles. I’m not much of a dabber, but since I had earned a free dab I decided to go in and check out the bar. The gentleman tending the bar was very nice, willing to chat and go over products with me. Overall a fantastic experience. Keep setting the bar high!

I love this place, I stop in here often after school to visit the dab bar. Then downstairs for the meds. Got some dragoncrack here a little while ago and it was the most beautiful, vibrant bud I’ve seen in Seattle since I moved here… Be on the lookout for it. If you go on thursday ask for Jade. Real nice girl who actually knows her stuff.
The one thing that stands out about this shop is the way they display their product – they make it an easy and enjoyable visual experience. I like this business because it gives you the same experience at each location. The effort to provide different deals on Leafly at each individual location is appreciated. However, it would be nice if they offered more variety for the daily deals. Overall, it’s not my daily shop but I find myself always coming back to Have a Heart businesses.

I’ve heard a lot about this dispensary so I had high expectations going in, and it was above and beyond amazing. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and of course the meds a dank, and at a good price. I love the dab bar! I went there this morning and I am literally typing this on my way back for more! I haven’t tried their selection of vaporizers but they have volcanos you can rent out! This is hands down the chillest dispensary I have ever been to,seen or heard of. Kudos hhave a heart crew!!

I came in and purchased a GSC cartridge, but it was malfunctioning with my pen. I showed it to Nick and he was extremely helpful! Not only did he immediately, without question, replace my GSC cartridge with a new one, he even stuck around and gave me advice on how effectively use my pen. Extremely knowledgeable! The customer service I received was what I would call above and beyond what’s normally expected. I felt like the hospitality I received from Nick will absolutely make me refer other patients and will make me come back regularly. Thanks!

Nice space. The tenders are always friendly as well as the security. Sometimes the security at other places can be intimidating but these guys are super friendly. They have a great digital reader board menu too which keeps things up to date as far as product availability. Over all this is a go-to spot for me.

This is one of the best dispensaries in the greater Seattle area. I’ve been a Have a Heart customer for many years since they were medical-only dispensaries. They have the best selection and quality around. I haven’t been to the Bothell store yet, but I plan on visiting it today.
I went here for the first time today, I’m not one to write reviews, but they were great. I’m new to medical dispensaries and the gentleman that helped was very patient and nice and knowledgable. Definitely made a return customer here.

I almost didn’t go into this place because the outside had a hippie aesthetic that generally denotes a bad experience ahead, but I’m so glad that I gave it a try! The service was friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was friendly with lots of regulars and a dab bar that I must try when I’m not driving, but what really grabbed me was the flowers. I’ve honestly never seen buds that look like these outside of a magazine, and I’ve been to plenty of dispensaries. Their top shelf here is a shelf above the top shelf anywhere else- you can see and feel the difference when you medicate. This is my first 5 star review- given because they deserve it. I’ll be back!

The concentrates are off the hook they even have soda which I can’t wait to try, great clones. Basically anything you could possibly need or want for your medical needs. Plus you know you are getting what they say you’re getting. everyone here is super friendly and helpful, from the sweet ladies who greet patients to the helpful budtenders and people working the lounge. on my first visit i was helped by matt & tyler who were both really knowledgeable about what they offer, and made sure that i got the best possible new patient deal, and a punch card. the second time i went in i brought a friend along and we were helped by Q, who suggested awesome edibles and really hooked us up since my friend was a new patient. i appreciate that! love all the daily deals and the vape lounge too, and the wide variety of medibles. so far i’ve only been disappointed by one product – a strain of flower that had a bunch of tiny seeds in the buds. the effect of the flower was still great and i obvi smoked it anyway, so no harm no foul. definitely going trying to make it here on thursdays more often. thx havea<3!

Had a great first visit to the Have a Heart Cafe. They have a cafe where you can order medicated foods, a vaporizer room where you can vape all sorts of oils, and a dispensary that sells flowers, edibles, and oils.
The staff were all super-friendly from security to the servers to the bud tenders and the manager. Everyone really helpful and eager to tell you all about their product and services.
I had no wait at all and grabbed an assortment of really nice strains. Very knowledgeable folks, too, who could speak in depth about the comparative qualities of the herbs.
I will definitely be returning!

This is probably the best designed, and one of the best stocked & staffed, recreational cannabis shops around.
The atmosphere upon entry is sophisticated and “woody”, but the staff is unpretentious and very knowledgeable, possibly due to Have a Heart’s history as a medical establishment.
Perhaps my favorite feature here is the presentation of the products: they are arranged in order of price per gram, which is brilliant!

I really like this shop. The bud-tenders are very knowledgeable and always have great suggestions for different strains depending on what you’re looking for. The only bummer is that there is no dedicated park and you usually have to park in the Fred Meyers parking lot.

Yes, it sits on a very busy corner in Greenwood. BUT, this may be a reason why the lines/crowds are much better than other locations. For those living in the surrounding community, the lack of parking is also a blessing in disguise. Also, if you do drive a vehicle, there is plenty of free parking next door at Fred Meyer. Plenty of bus stops in the immediate area as well.
The staff is awesome for both newbies and experienced shoppers/users. Very patient and knowledgeable on many fronts. Security personal are cool and not uptight!
The stock/selection is usually on point with good prices. As always, bring cash.

The budtender, Warren, helped us pick out some great Girl Scout Cookie. He was very friendly and helpful. There were a huge variety of options. This place includes a dab bar – if you’ve never tried dabbing, you MUST do it. It gets you very high, even for someone who medicates regularly.

I always ask for the newest deal and the tender let’s me know if it’s product that’s been on the shelf or if the quality is worth the deal. There’s a dab room, a large waiting room/lounge with Volcanoes, and even a cafe! Warren was especially genuine and informative! He explained every product to me in detail, even down to THC vs CBD vs etc. Thank you for the warm welcome! I will definitely be returning with my frequent buyer card!

I could write a novel on how amazing this and all hve a heart locations are, although greenwood is my favorite.

Holy sh**! This place is awesome! It’s unlike any of the other shops I have been to in the Seattle area. Great smoke, great folks, and a great atmosphere. The piano player was amazing. Check it out!
My visit to the Greenwood location was my first experience with Have-a-Heart, and I was VERY impressed! The store has a huge selection, beautiful displays, a nice atmosphere, and (most importantly) a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. This is definitely my new go-to shop!
Atmosphere/Setting:
I started going here about 2-3 months ago, and this has become my primary dispensary. They have a really great atmosphere with comfy couches and free coffee/tea among other amenities. The dab bar is really slick; it feels like a traditional alcohol based bar. I also really enjoy that they separate that section from the casual enjoyment area. I feel like once they are allowed by law to have coffee and food it will truly blossom.
Med quality/quantity:
The store on the lower level is very well stocked with the largest assortment of cannabis goods that I have seen (*disclaimer: I am relatively new to the space though). I only use a vaporizer with oil concentrates and they have a really nice selection from various local growers. However, their selection of concentrates does play a bit of second fiddle to the classic flowers also sold. My only complaint is consistency of the product being on the shelf. I don’t blame this really on HaveAHeart; although, as a consumer with picky taste it would be really great if I could find my perfect strain and be able to get it whenever the need arises. It currently feels a bit like a lottery when I come in to pick up.
Service:
The service level is really great. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I will admit some of the staffers are better than others when it comes to their knowledge and ability to translate cannabis jargon into terms a newbie can understand. However, I always love when I am able to have Chris or Tyler help me out; they have always been incredibly helpful at translating a lot of the lingo and help me pick out the perfect strain available. Lastly, have great deals often, plus freebies.

Have a Heart in Greenwood is my go-to dispensary even though there are others closer to my house, this place is excellent. The staff are enlightened, helpful, and totally chill. The selection is vast, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

I love coming to Have a Heart CafA(c) because there is always a good deal. Get a punch card, come in 6 times and get either a free joint or $5 edible. Mondays from 1-5 spend $20 and get a free gram! Buy 4 joints ($5 each) (they are the fattest, and best rolled, high quality), and get one free! Tyler and Q have both helped a lot and been very patient, letting me smell what I wanted, telling me all about the different strains, and letting me take my time with their great selection. They also have things like ice cream, tea, and hemp wicks! And, I just found out from online that Tuesday is double punch day. It’s hard to go somewhere else!
The people working here are so nice and will give you the time you deserve to help you pick out what you need. On my first visit Matt and Tyler were so helpful! They also have some of the best deals and often have parties!

Have A Heart (Greenwood) is my favorite recreational shop in the city. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always super helpful. Paul is by far my favorite budtender, a definite connoisseur of herb. I am confident when I walk into Have A Heart that I’ll walk out with quality cannabis and a smile on my face. Best experience for a noob or a seasoned smoker like myself.

The Atmosphere is great, they have a relaxed full lounge that just opened up fully after a renovation. When you walk in you will be greeted by a receptionist and just behind there is a dab bar with 5 or 6 stations each featuring high end glass and enails. Downstairs is where the magic happens, 20-40 strains of good to great quality flower, 10-20 type of oil, many various constructions of edibles. They have a deal every day of the week, like waxy wednesdays and top shelf tuesdays. They have a punch card system, 7 punches and a a free gift is given. They have student and senior discounts always and an opening/closing happy hour. They will be very accommodating to new patients, and all of the staff are very welcoming.
Contacted HAH after my dispensary closed. Damon (the Manager) promptly responded to my voicemail. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and customer focused. . It is very obvious why this place receives such consistently high reviews !
Have a heart is quickly becoming my go-to dispensary in a crowded Seattle field of excellent shops. The entire store is lined with products on display, conveniently laid out in cases grouped by type, price, and even brand. It is very well laid out, and makes it very difficult to go in without wanting to buy everything in the store.
The staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful. They know their product very well and obviously enjoy their jobs, making the purchasing experience all the more enjoyable. They offer products from many of Washington’s finest growers, across the full array of delivery methods. The menu is large, with a great deal of variety, and a great selection of pre-rolls for those looking to grab something for a night out.
Considering the quality, reputation, consistency and the fact that Have a Heart is a growing chain, it’s clear these guys are serious about their cannabis and in it for the long run. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite place in Seattle! This is the cleanest and most professional dispensary I have been to. The people are very nice and the medication is top notch. The other thing I love is the abundance of available parking! Also, they always have some sort of special going on!

Since opening day Have a Heart has had the best products Ive tried. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help find the right strain you’re looking for. This is my favorite dispensary I’ve been to since moving to Seattle one year ago.

First impression of the store was that the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Wide selection of flower and concentrates/edibles. Not much of an issue with parking or location wise. Picked up an eighth and this will be my go to shop in the area!
Without a doubt some of the best weed I have ever bought, especially for the price you pay. I personally dealt with Woody who was very friendly and interested in finding what I needed; as was everyone else who I met at this location. The dab bar is also superb!

This has been my “go to” dispensary for over 2 years now. Others have come and gone, but Have a Heart Cafe remains my favorite dispensary in Washington State. Why? Service is friendly and fast if needed, or take time to get a great recommendation from a budtender if needed, I have done both. Prices are slightly below average at regular list (5-10% less than area competitors) with well published specials every day of the week. If you haven’t stopped in here yet, make a point to do so. The dab bar had to shut down earlier this year, but the rest of the Cafe remains a great place to get safe, well priced, and good quality cannabis meds.
The product selection at Have a Heart is absolutely some of the best in the Seattle area, plus the staff are super chill and friendly. Everyone there (besides being incredibly knowledgable about everything they carry and what might work best for you personally) makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, which is super important in my book. They are informative without being condescending and there is a Dab bar upstairs, which is a feature unique to that spot in my experience. I would definitely recommend!

I do wish the average customer was a little older, as it is in the University District and I felt the dab lounge was overcrowded with gelled up college kids. I guess I’m not gonna hate, just warn anyone else who is looking for a bit of a late 20s / early 30s vibe.
The door person, budtender, and dab bar dude were all very chill and friendly. The place was decorated in a great fashion; if more of my friends had mmj cards, it would be a great place to just relax and pass the time with them. Didn’t ask if they have wifi, but I wouldn’t be surprised; it was that kind of place.
Basically, the place is filled with cool hippie wall decorations and comfy couches.
Hopefully the laws change and they can get their restaurant! Seems like they’re doing everything they can to make it a comfortable hangout place, but there are still arbitary laws holding them back.

People can have hats and beanies on in this store but NO hoods. I was asked to take off my hood before entering. Seriously? I don’t get it. It’s cold and why does it matter? It left such a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m new to Seattle, and Have a Heart is the closest to my apartment, which is why I checked it out. It is now my favorite dispensary. The employees here are all very helpful and knowledgeable, and customer service here is obviously a priority. They always listen to my needs, and have helped me find some great products that have made my pain levels go way down. For that, I’m grateful. These guys rock!
The Have a Heart crew are the best there is! I drive up from Kent just to see them. They are always so informative, friendly and helpful! Cail is such a happy face to see at the front desk and Quiwaan and the guys are always so willing to help me get downstairs with the wheelchair..I only recommend Have a Heart to patients looking for quality meds and a welcoming experience!
There is a huge diversity of medication access points in this town. Most of them offer, at a minimum, reasonable quality at reasonable prices. Have A Heart offers excellent quality at reasonable prices, but that’s not the primary reason I’m recommending it. Have a Heart is unique among North Seattle dispensaries in that, in addition to providing excellent medication at comparable prices to other dispensaries I have patronized, its dab bar, vape lounge, and espresso bar provide patients with a comfortable, safe, well-decorated space to gather, socialize, and medicate. The vape lounge is filled with huge leather couches, several different types of vaporizer, grinders and coffee tables. The dab bar has dabs of everything sold in the downstairs dispensary point for $5, along with an interesting assortment of oil rigs to dab them in (and, incidentally, the only Zephyr Ion I have seen in a Washington dispensary—ever!). The dispensary is extremely well stocked, has a flat $10/g price on all but one premium strain (the Unicorn Horn, which is entirely worth the three dollar price premium per gram), has concentrates starting at $25/g (!), and a wide array of edibles and other goods. I have yet to try the espresso, so I cannot speak to it. The one thing to take into account is that Have a Heart does charge sales tax: this means that they do end up being slightly more expensive than some of the competition, but I cannot fault them for actually wanting to pay their taxes and the price difference is more than reflected in the increased quality relative to the norm in the area dispensaries. In sum, the best dispensary I have visited so far. You should really come down here sometime.

One of my favorite rec stores in Seattle. I usually stop in at 8 or 9 in the morning on weekdays and they’re always happy and ready to answer questions. The manager even dragged out the binder of grower information to find out if a grower I like is pesticide free.
This location has a great selection and is the friendliest dispensary I’ve been too. The staff give off a very genuine vibe and I go out of my way to buy here becausei of that.

What a waste of time…Not sure why their quality sucks so bad as it is supposedly the same quality of the other stores…The Tahoe OG at this location looks and smells good but is just horrible…Girl at front desk refused to watch my dogs for 5 minutes as I had to run to an ATM as they only take cash. Very inconvenient, poor service, and most of all, the quality is terrible…I am a hardcore smoker for 20 years. Believe me when I say, the meds are real bad…

Really nice place- took them awhile to get situated however. I really like stopping in time to time to grab a dab nowadays and the Xbox Ones and TVs are pretty legit. I’ve been craving refine concentrates so i might stop in this Monday.
Easy to access, across street from Fred Meyer for munchies. Bud tenders hooked me up with exactly what I described I needed. I recommend it highly. Regular now.

Lots of selection, but I felt like I was bothering the budtender by asking questions. He seemed to huff and puff every time I said something.
Today I was headed out to grab some GDP for my night time smoke and accidentally got off at the wrong stop. I decided to explore a little and spotted green crosses on the horizon, so I followed and with my eyes spied a sign that said Have a Heart followed by the words CAFE.
When I walked in I felt like was just in another cafe with volcano vapes lounging around the comfortable couches. It is a very warm and inviting atmosphere that feels safe and disarming. I took off my headphones and noticed the music playing was a song that plays on the same Pandora station I was listening too at the time.
The receptionist worked adroitly and had me signed up as a member in no time. I told her I may not buy anything I just wanted to check it out but as soon as I got downstairs I knew I was going to be parting with some cash and getting some tasty GDP.
Warren the bud tender gave me a quick run down of the goods and told me a little bit about the remodeling going on.
The way the flower is setup is excellent. My GDP had a picture of Grandpa Simpson on it which wins immediate brownie points. The wears are showcased in a way that is creative (each strain has a hand drawn picture on the name placard) and very organized and fastidiously looked after. The selection of O.pen vape cartridges was the largest I have ever seen. The price was right on all of the goods. 10$ flowers, edibles were market or below, along with O.pen cartridges.
The first impression did it all for me. I felt like I was walking into a cafe which gives the entire experience a sense of normalcy that I do not get at other places.
Excellent goods, with a selection on par with any other spot and a safe quiet place to enjoy your MMJ, coffee and a book.
Looking forward to my next visit.

The Have a Heart Cafe is an amazing dispensary that I would recommend to anyone. The location is easy to get to, especially for UW students or anyone living in the U-district of Seattle, and the shop is a treat to enter. The staff are knowledgeable and they seem to have a great time! Dani specifically is always eager to help with anything that I need. I’m always looking for an excuse to go back in!

aEURoeI’ve been to many dispensaries in Seattle and I can say without a doubt that Have a Heart is the best by far. Even though Greenwood is not my neighborhood, I am more than happy to make the drive because they have the largest and most varied selection of cartridges that I have found. It can be very hard to find cartridges with good CBD:THC ratios, but Have a Heart has so many in stock that I always have plenty to choose from . The Greenwood staff is terrific, very knowledgeable, and friendly. The hours are great, there is plenty of on-street parking, and the onsite ATM makes it a one-stop shop. Couldn’t ask for more!aEUR

This is my favorite shop I’ve shopped at since moving to the Greenwood neighborhood from Queen Anne. They have a variety of vendors they carry and have pretty much any product you can think of. I love concentrates and whenever I cant make up my mind I always ask Devin when he is in the shop. Always a great recommendation with a good attitude without being pushy. If you get the chance give this shop a shot.
This is a great store with great selection and great prices. As a medical patient I need high thc, and they’ve got it (btw, try the secret recipe, if it’s in, it is amazing. All the workers are nice and decently informed and medical patients get 10% off. Forget all other dispensaries, come here!

Both this one and the one an 99 are fantastic, however the wait time is rediculous and the girls seem too stoned to really hold a conversation. Loved talking to Micah in the dab bar. I will be back, but only when I have a free afternoon.
