As Eugene’s oldest and most established OLCC-licensed dispensary, we have had a deep dedication to empowering our customers, patients, and this community with cannabis knowledge since 2012.
We are open to the public (21 and older with valid ID) and to OMMP cardholders 18 years or older.

This place is ok, not excellent. Prices are good, selection is good. Clean location, friendly staff, and easily accessibility if you are disabled . My only gripe was with the dryness of the herb, it tasted stale.

Definitely my favorite dispensary in Eugene, pretty much the only one I visit now. The budtenders are always super knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of edibles, oils, etc at great prices. Personally, I appreciate the lack of “retail” atmosphere. Budtenders here want to help you out, not empty your wallet.

Good selection of products & reasonable prices. Great clones. Tried Valley Girl & Green Dragon: small bud, but bud tender took time to do decent trim. Only suggestion for improvement is weighing at counter; having back to customers felt weird & ignored since it took a while. Appreciate increased limits.
Budtender was ok, meds were weak and donations were WAY high. Meds don’t always weigh out at home – I checked bc you can’t see their scale.

If you’re a medical patient looking for quality herb and kind budtenders, this is absolutely the place for you. Everything I’ve gotten here, from flower to edibles has been great. The prices are great for me, and the daily deals make it even better for me.
I’ve only been here twice, but this is very quickly becoming my favorite dispensary. My only qualm with the place is that since everything’s in one room at the moment it’s a bit loud and anxiety inducing for me. However, the dispensary’s going to be even better once construction is done on the medical room.

Excellent medicine, Holy Grail @ $18/.8th by far the best medicine around for the money. The inventory at Greener Side is quite extensive and very low-cost compared to other dispensary prices. Will return for the RSimpson Oil on the first. Ed and Chelsea made this a most excellent first experience. Thank you GS.

I really like this shop. It’s really close to my house so if I don’t feel like driving I can walk. They have some cartridges that I haven’t seen anywhere else in town. Cultivated extracts cartridges to be exact. I got the mango kush and it is fantastic!!Excellent flavor and a really smoothe draw. I have only 1 complaint,it’s a pretty small one but it just kinda bugged me. I called ahead to see if they had a senior discount and the girl told my they do and it’s 10%. When I went to pay I thought it was a little more than I thought it should be and the guy told me the discount is only 5% Not sure which one was correct and it’s not much money but I was just a little confused by it. Other than that they get a 5 star from me

I’m a big fan of Greener Side. The location makes it easy to get to from almost anywhere in town, and they’re always stocked with great products from prerolls to seeds.

Great Dispensary, almost feels like a traditional natural doctors clinic.
I bought Sensi Star and Medicine Woman, both of which looked and smelled great, but weren’t cured properly. Considering the donations, I would have expected better dried medication. The bud tender was not very helpful, either. He misquoted several facts and seemed really out of it. This was my first experience at a dispensary. I will go somewhere with more knowledgable staff and better medicine next time.
Great service great deals and fantastic strains
Their inventory must be all in house grown or a favor of a buddy that knows a guy. Not very easy to look at and the quality was less than medical. Not impressed. I have seen better at the bus staion.

Greener Side really cares for patients and offers cutting edge medical products. A Eugene original and they continue to set a high standard for the industry. Plus, nitrogen sealed cans! Best way to keep your bud fresh.

Long waits for service, and I have picked up clones twice from here and both times I was given different strains than what they were labeled as. It’s a drag when you don’t get what you’re expecting.

The customer service here outshines other dispensaries in Eugene. They always seem willing to answer any and all questions, and I never feel pressured to buy something I don’t want.

I’ve been to at least 100 different dispensaries around the country , this place takes the cake .. The Best flower you will ever find is here , they have different price ranges as well but, all of it is high quality regardless.

My first pot shop experience in Eugene was at The Greener Side. I selected them because they had a wide selection of vape cartridges, which is what I was looking to buy. The counter space is a little tight, but they got me in and out fast with discounts for medical and veteran. I’ll be back for cartridges as they have a very well-stocked selection that is current via their menu here on Leafly. I didn’t check out their buds so I cannot comment there.
I wanted to check this place out because I have heard good things, and I wasn’t let down! I really like the selection of flowers, and all seem to be top shelf! I did happen to stop in right before they were closing on a Friday, but I still felt welcomed. The only gripe I had, and I may be nit-picking, was that it was my first time in and I guess I was supposed to get a pre roll on the house.. and the special for the day was a free pre roll… I’m very happy with what I recieved. Awesome flowers and a really tasty pre roll, but I only got one lol. I kinda was expecting two because of the new patient and Friday dealy. Oh well… very small oversight and happy overall!!

This is a great place to get well rooted large clones. I do not like their packaging of other products; however. It is excessively wasteful and you cannot see or smell what you are actually buying.
Supremely impressed with every aspect. Absolutely killer bud on the middle shelf even, and that facemelter chronic from GeekFarms on the top! Will definitely be back to make a more sizeable purchase and try out the variety of mouthwatering oils. 🙂
please please please update your leafly menu…still list 4/20 specials…also their special says any 2g oil get 1g of THESE 4strains free….not but 2g of of any of these 4 strains get 1 free!! the ad is misleading & wk+ later & they have NOT fixed their menu…..so to me they did NOT honor their special & I ended up only getting 1g just because I wasted my time to come get a special they listed!

Wanted to like The Greener Side, but the product quality was a real disappointment! Bought an ounce of some $8/gram flower. It was already in preweighed 1/4 oz containers stored in a drawer. My bad that I didn’t inspect them closely, but I shouldn’t have needed to. It’s all bottom-of-the-jar stuff! In fact, 1 container is almost all shake with a bunch of obviously bare 1-2″ stems. No way this should have been sold as is! I’ve never been sold such poor quality dispensary bud. So be sure to make them pour out and re-weigh any pre-packaged flower!

Overall this is my 2nd favorite place so far. The front desk and atmosphere is reminds me of an upscale medical waiting room. The budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly.
As far as prices and quality go, its a bit on the pricey side for their top shelf stuff. That being said, both the Dr.Who I got the other day and the Pot of Gold I got many months ago from here, is some of the best stuff I’ve smoked in my life.

Billy is THE best and most accommodating bud-tender I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I asked if he would de stem some big nugs in my ounce purchase and he happily did so. I asked if he could do some of this and some of that and he happily obliged and the calculations were on point. He pulled down over 10 strains I asked to see and had all of the info I needed for each specific strain. The dude is super nice and is clearly happy to be there and truly cares about what he’s doing. So damn respectable. Much love and thank you for your help.

I reviewed this location earlier with awesome reviews and they are still great, but I was not impressed with the staffs knowledge of vaping. I ended up going through 4 cartridges (returning them every day) because no one told me they wouldn’t work with my battery, none of the ones they sold would. I ended up just having to keep my cartridge and pay extra for a battery that works for the cartridge that couldn’t be refunded. Needless to say, I absolutely hate this battery, and now can’t afford weed.
STEMS!!!! Both packages had stems! First time I have received stems – will not go back.

My first visit was a very pleasant experience. I have been to quite a few places in Portland, and was very happy to find a clean, professional environment to discuss my medicinal needs. They were very knowledgable about their strains, and actually take the time to get you the medicine that you need, are very helpful and have a good range of products to help with every need! Highly recommend and will be back whenever I can!

I just stopped in for the first time. Only 2 or 3 strains just now looked enticing enough to consider grabbing a half zip aEUR” namely some T-4.
The first-time checkin process was the most long-winded and invasive I’ve ever experienced in 10+ dispensaries.
Will be back to see if there are any new top-shelf flowers. Not in any hurry though.

Went in with a specific sativa dominant strain in mind to purchase. When I asked the Budtender what kind of feedback was coming, he said it was an indica dominant hybrid. Someone told him they felt relaxed and interpreted it as indica. He had not tried it. Had to point it out to him that it was in fact a sativa dominant hybrid.
It pays to know.

Sadly most dispensaries $$$ rules and recreational takes priority over medical patients. Unlike the two guys ahead of me with their recreational purpose of visit I am not going to see Star Wars today. I have cancer and am a medical OMMP patient and place like many since October have become greedy and money driven forgetting what and how this program started. Beyond unimpressed.

This is one of the most respectable, and professional places I have been to. The Bud Tenders are knowledgeable about the strains. They have all the strains tested, and have THC and sometimes CBD information available about all the strains that have been tested.

Amazing customer service, great prices. I’ve been to almost a hundred dispensaries learning the trade and was pretty amazed with The Greener Side. Not the most hip environment but their customer service is over the top. Their one on one approach from the moment you walk in is killer. I was travelling through town and did have a minor issue with my purchase that was not noticed until I got to my motel. Called them and they were apologetic, took ownership of the problem and rectified it the next day beyond my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this dispensary.

A ripoff for recreational users. You can get the same product for $10-$20 less down the road. It looks like a great place for medical users, but they are taking advantage of recreational users. That tells me all I need to know about the owners.

I cannot believe the amazing people here! I showed up just after 6pm on the Sunday before 4/20. They were closed, but staff were present getting ready for the big event the next day. They happened to see me checking the hours on the locked door, and opened the shop, just for me! I was a new patient, but they treated me like an old friend, someone they’ve known for years. That’s commitment to patients, people!
I love this place! It has been one of the cornerstone shops in Eugene even before recreational cannabis was legal. Great shop, great owners! They have a great variety of products and the bud tenders will usually help point out some great strains in all of their pricing tiers. Their workers also give dependable reviews on many of their products. The store itself is OG in the sense that it has a waiting room and then a staff member to take each customer back individually. They usually staff enough people to help multiple customers in the room at once though, so they it’s usually pretty efficient, while still giving personal service to everyone. Also the owners are very approachable and helpful if you ever encounter an problem or a customer service issue. They strive to keep customers happy and provide a thoughtful service experience. I highly recommend giving these folks a visit, they will treat you right!
Got a hole room full of clones from these guys. Ended up they had russet mites. Who inspects these!?! Had to dump 40 clones all from them n all my seeds I popped. So now I’m clone less n still cleaning. Thanks
They’re alright. Have decent flowers of varying quality. The owners and employees are good people trying to do right by the community. Would like to see better concentrates or better flowers for less in donation. But they seem to work with people and do what they can for everyone they can. Wheelchair accessible.

The location and space is very accessible and orderly. Layout is most-like a business office than most I’ve visited with cubicles for each customer and need.
The clone room is clean and very well tended-to with lots of variety when available.

Nock my sock monkey socks off with your banana flower why don’t you? I am a medical patient and I visited the greener side for my first time. I can relate to waiting at a public pharmacy with non sick people’s disrespect to compassion and healing. My visit here I noticed they have two shopping rooms and less waiting room time. In stock they have a lot of meds, I liked atomic bomb flower , and I take CBD oil every day and have great success using RSO. this particular dispensary has done so much politically and personally on behalf of all ill patients they are a brave ownership all about healing. THANK YOU GREENER SIDE OWNERS for all you did over the years in effort to support our choice of medication movement. You are true pioneers who paved our way to obtaining medicine. The sales person who helped me was compassionate and did all they could to make it a pleasant experience for me. That banana weed rocked my sock monkey world but I super enjoyed atomic bomb flower even more. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to see a wide variety of flower.

just got a quarter of 2 mile kush at 13 bucks a gram. It was just covered in powder mildew from tip to stem. I don’t know how this was tested and passed their inspections but this is not medicine this is poison. boo!
First time in, picked up some clones. They are covered in MITES!!! “Inspected” by whom, a blind person?! ugh.
This is where I go to purchase my weed not only because of the good bud but the welcoming and positive atmosphere. Any question I have about cannabis can usually be thouroughly answered. I always enjoy my time spent at the Greener Side and will continue to go.

being the first dispensary I visited, in the area, I was, and still am, very impressed with the selection and knowledge of the bud-tenders. I have recommended this dispensary to several people.
Not going back. Good buds, too pricey. Too cool for school mentality, and most of them are in college. Not a fan.
Quality is for the most part great but they are a smaller dispensary so there are obviously less options. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is more like an office setting than a warmer feel as far as atmosphere but don’t let that deter you. They will go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Fun staff. Budtender welcomes me to Eugene. Super nice. I had no plans to buy much but both the front desk and budtender both pointed me to Dr. Who flower. In my 25 years of smoking The Weed I have never seen frostier nugs. I walked out with 7g and- 1 hour later at home- was impressed.
I love the atmosphere they have! They were extremely knowledgable and helpful. All the budtenders make you feel like your right at home. Love that they have Geek Farm flowers too!!! Highly recomend patients check this place out.

My first visit to any dispensary was fun and made comfortable by all the staff that I came into contact with. All were professional and answered all my questions. This is the perfect place for the person who has little experience or is a daily user. Great selection of edibles in addition to well everything!!! Sort of hard to find. Was the 1st shop I went to over a year and a half ago. Never any problems and they were very nice to me while I had cancer. Gave me a lot of ideas. Pricing was fair and folks were great.

I called to see how much their RSO was because their menu didn’t list the suggested donation. Whoever answered was very courteous but flatly stated they would not discuss donations over the phone… As someone with severe Crohn’s Disease idk why they would expect me to take the time and the effort to visit in-person just to find out the donation, when every other dispensary lists their suggested donations online so that those of us with chronic diseases can be smart in how we choose to spend our time and energy in finding our medicine. From a business standpoint and a medical standpoint this policy makes no sense, and drives away customers. I will continue to support the other dispensaries I’ve had positive experiences with in the future.
I’ve been coming here for a while, they have the best quality and service In town for the best pricing. I always get in conversations with my bud tender and I always feel more than welcome here. I recommend here more than anywhere else

This was the first dispensary I ever visited, so it does hold a sense of nostalgia for me. Beyond that, I have to say it just isn’t a place I frequent anymore.
The service here has always been good. Budtenders here are generally both friendly and knowledgeable.
The flower selection is okay, but even their top shelf we Send to phoneed picks look a little pale in comparison to some other dispensaries. Honestly, most of their top shelf stuff is really middle shelf, and should be priced accordingly. It’s not that they have a terrible selection of flower- it’s just nothing special in a town full of weed choices.
Their selection of cartridges is often sparse, and I can usually find the same ones at other places for at least a few bucks cheaper.
I know they do offer some regular deals, but none of them usually appeal to me. I’m not sure if they offer any loyalty program, but I know there was not one in place when I used to shop there.
On a positive note: there is ample parking on the backside of their building.

Best place in Eugene
A well run business. They usually have strong bud, and average selection, but little ‘wow factor’. What keeps me going back, isn’t the service or quality, it’s the central location in town. Not a location I would seek out, but not a place I’d avoid.

This store has got some great flower. I mean serious heat. From Doghouse to Fox Hollow, they got the gas. The location and decor aren’t primo but when it comes to good weed these guys know what’s up.

Always friendly and professional. They aren’t pretentious stoners who rush you through your purchase or overwhelm you with weed jargon. Just cool, normal people who know how to provide a good customer service experience, and their product is the best!

I’ve been coming here since the first week of recreational sales and every time I’ve come here I’ve left happy. When you walk in it’s pretty zen compared to the busy street outside. The waiting area is nice and cozy.
The bud room is a neato looking room with their selection of bud, concentrates and edibles that rolls past slowly on a large screen. The budtenders are some of the most chill people I’ve met, honestly.
They have also never tried to push me to buy something that wasn’t in my price range which I’ve heard is a problem with some dispensaries in the area. Not for this one though!
They tend to have one of the bigger selections out of the downtown dispensaries, if that is part of your decision making, which is it definitely part of mine.
At any rate, I’ll keep coming back here in my dry times and I would suggest it to anyone in the downtown area!

These guys kick ass! I’ve been going here since they first opened. Even with all the new places that have opened up, they remain one of the best.. Great selection of edibles and concentrates. Cool staff, they always make me feel welcome. Highly recommend to others! Only suggestion would be to maybe lower some of the reimbursements if possible

Poor service, unreliable for med patients. I sent my caretaker in for a high CBD tincture (which she specifically requested) and she came back with an RSO that is only THC (totally different). She didn’t think to check the bottle, as she ordered it very clearly and the staff member seemed to understand. They also tend to forget change and not give the advertised freebies/discounts. Probably a fine dispensary for casual rec users, but I do not recommend getting your medicine here.
In a town with a dispensary on every corner, I’m so pleased I was recommended to The Greener Side on my trip through Eugene. I needed something discreet while I was visiting and Chelsea took the time to show me several different options while answering all my questions. I ended up going with a tincture and inhaler and loved both. They didn’t take cards, but there was an ATM available.
This place is one of my favorite Eugene shops, super awesome staff and as far as clones and seeds they have the best selection in town.
