    I went in to this dispensary and explained my situation to a girl named Melissa. I told her that head high medicine doesn’t work for me and explained my issues. She directed to me the skywalker and assured me that this strain would not cause paranoia. This is the first time any clerk has known her shit in any dispensary around. Thanks Mellissa ! I showed up on Christmas morning to a packed front door…There was only 1 bud tender working and working hard he was…I really needed to get my medicine and was kinda disappointed that there was a line…The people in line were all rec users and all were in horrible moods even for Christmas…The reason was obvious that it was because they had to wait…Well as I worked my way to the door I showed the tender my Medical Card…He said, “Oh Medical??? Sorry you had to wait!!!” n Let me right in…Even before the other rec users who had been waiting…He tried to explain to the rec users that His establishment was built for the medical patients first…That means they always get their meds first before you can get your high or fix…I appreciate the Love you still have for the Medical Community!!! I will be back because of this reason!!! Thank You Guys!!!!

I literally make it my business to come in every Saturday morning because Colby and Chris are the funniest bud tenders in the city! Hands down! Will always return here without hesitation! 45. This place smelled like an old adult shop. I stopped by at about 11pm and the explicit hip hop music could be heard in the super tiny waiting room. I love explicit hip hop but it’s not what I want to hear as I’m selecting from a huge amount of cannabis products and trying to spend my hard earned money wisely. Top shelf concentrates and at least one tender was knowledgeable. It’s a tiny shop that’s kinda dirty and sketchy. The top shelf flower all smelled the same. Cheap bottom shelf flower was last years outdoor popcorn nugs and shake. Picked up some super clean 1859 gg#4 shatter that was bizzomb but I would only recommend this place as an emergency all night alternative. Still better than the ’90s though. Grateful for any kind of dispensary. No matter how shoddily operated.

63. Visited for my first time today, very nice Budtender who was very personable. We went specifically for concentrates and ended up getting a pretty good deal. One thing I liked was on each of the jars of flower there were lists of what each strain was intended for. I think more shops should do this…although I no longer smoke flower for someone who may not be as educated that could make or break there medicinal comfort. I applaud this cute little shop!

79. I had never been to this location before as we don’t live in the area. We were in need of meds, so we looked online and this place was the only one near us that was open 24hrs. We walked in and instantly loved it!!! HUGE selection, educated staff, great atmosphere, and the prices weren’t bad either!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. Let me criticize a little first, not much for parking, other than that; This place was excellent! It just felt right. Great feel to the place. Really knowledgeable people and just super nice all together! The products they have are mind blowing especially the flowers and BHO! Super high THC Sourgrape 26% and the most beautiful purple yet white Blackberry Kush. (I’ve seen a lot at other places but not like this.) The BHO was literally top 5 I’ve seen and medicated with. For someone like me who has tried plenty of BHO, it was mind blowing medicine. For a new place they got there stuff together. This is one place I hope sticks around. I will continue to make my drive from Sherwood to AmeriCanna Rx every time I’m in need of medication!

I call in to ask their return policy and they got very very offended and turned rude and unaccommodating. Made me just want to purge it myself on a heat tray and not have to deal with these guys again. Definitely not coming back here anytime soon and will be spreading the word about how shitty their concentrates are AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, CUSTOMER SERVICE. Peace.

145. This is the first time I’ve purchased something illegal and felt as if I were A) on a reality TV show due to all of the cameras, and B) doing something terribly criminal. The young man behind the counter was nice, product good although process were higher than average, atmosphere lacking substantially. Will not be returning.

146. There were way too many bud tenders for how few customers were allowed in at once due to size, I’m guessing. It’s a small space and the employees were too chaotic. It was like they were all talking amongst themselves and giving zero customer service. The product was fine, but it was packaged in a closed room I couldn’t see in to and the packaging was white so I couldn’t see the product until I got home which I didn’t like. The employees made me feel rushed but were of no help to speed up the process and seemed annoyed when I didn’t know ehere their recreational started and ended. Not going back unless I hear it’s changed significantly.

180. The atmosphere here is pretty bad, their ID check room makes you feel like you’re about to be strip searched by the FBI. There’s almost no room to move around in the shop itself, although that itself doesn’t bother me much, just something to add. I came in for the halloweed deal, and got a bag of probably 20% stems. I can understand if the stems are attached to the bud not taking the time to remove them, but the woman who took it out of the glass jar for me clearly just grabbed everything without looking because that’s a HUGE amount of stems even for a heavy discount. That’s probably the single biggest hit to this place.

     Their whole atmosphere and shop setup is just really unwelcoming to me, I will certainly not be going here again. Not for the best deal in the world.

Biggest beef is the size (small) and the shortage of parking. The size is hard to change; the parking is manageable if you don’t mind parking on the street and walking 100 feet. Not crazy about the hip-hop tunes, but *shrug* they don’t always play hip-hop.

It’s the only dispensary I’ve been to that has a wide range of medication that’s actually avaliable to the patients who don’t have expendable income, whether I am looking to donate 20 dollars or hundreds…I can full well expect to leave without feeling like I was taken advantage of.      I was brought here by a friend of mine one night because leafly had $3 grams and eights listed of a specific strain i had been wanting to try.

     It was a weeknight around 5 o’clock. the budtender laughed when i told him i wanted two $3 eights.

     I told him it was on leafly. so he looked it up and sure enough.

     When he stood there asking me what i wanted i told him again i wanted two of the $3 eights.

     He told me he’d lose his job if he did that.

     So i asked to speak to a manager.

     The budtender popped his head into the back, then back out as the manager yelled through the door to “give him a dollar off a gram”.

     He didn’t even come out to talk.

     They didn’t honor listed prices and acted like the customer in front of them was crazy.

So again, i have no BS filter but … Courtney is who i dealt with. I apologized and explained. She was very friendly and knowledgable. I went with low teir as all i can afford really. I got an eighth of Headband… it was very shakey and had a big stem with not much bud on it… and i got Future 2… all buds but not trimmed good at all. Lots of crows feet and long leaves. I just trimmed it up a little better myself. All in all im satisfied for what i paid. That’s what it’s all about, right? In conclussion i will be back. If you have a MED card this is the preeminant place to go to. Too many strains at $100 an oz to pass up. For REC, sometimes i just want that high end stuff at the silver tier prices… so i will go other places but next time i will sport for some silver tier most definitely. I saw you had some Tree Trunk farms stuff at silver. They are a really quality grower and that’s a great price for their stuff. So again i will be back… just on pure attitude. Sorry again for my too edgy reviews. You have my love. I would still come down there and discuss anything with anybody if given a good time and date….. btw one thing… parking there is horrible. Lol

Bummer since I wanted a strain they weren’t offering. 2nd bummer is that I should have checked what I was given before leaving the store, since I got a strain I didn’t order and really didn’t want. Ah well, that was my bad. But the prices right now can’t be beat. Will go back for a 1/4 of the strain I wanted. They were very upbeat folks and doing the best they could, I think. 386. I want to say, first of all, the price I paid for the quality of the bud I got is simply amazing! I can’t believe how big of nice hairy nugs my bud tendress gave me. I wish I would have gotten her name. But, I did check their Leafly ad before I left and had made a list, that sadly, I left at home. But I could have sworn there were more Hybrid bargain bud to choose from. By the time I got there, ( I traveled almost 40 miles by Bus and Light Rail to get there), all that was left was only one Hybrid, all the rest were Indicas. I prefer Hybrids for during the day. But since I traveled so far, I settled for the one Hybrid and one Indica. This may be due to this place being a 24-Hour spot. I have no idea how much business this place does. Maybe they should do an online ordering thing for those of us who live a distance? Just a thought. But the place is small. The bud tendress had to make me go into the very cramped and tiny little waiting room in front, I walked in as one was going out. She did give me good bud and good service, but I did order one strain I “thought” had been on the bargain list and was not. And in all of that hubbub, she forgot to give me my OMMP card and my ID back. I had forgotten to get it back. Long story short, my hubby had to drive almost 40 miles to go get them back. I had asked her about a few strains I was curious about and she didn’t know about them. I’m not putting her down, but maybe she was new or they don’t train their bud tenders very well. One should know about the strains/meds they are selling. Too many times, I’ve had this happen at dispensaries. How do these people get these jobs? Learn your job, have some integrity. I probably won’t be back, just because this was more of a hassle than it turned out to be worth for my “bargains”. But for those who live closer to this place and can get the “bargains” before they are gone, the bud is good.

     Even on the most busy of days when I buy a top shelf OZ or even a budget priced option, the brother will pull off each little stem as if the bag were his own.

     They often kick down free shirts and the like. Each budtender we’ve worked with has had excellent attitudes. They don’t hype up chemovars or waste your time showing you off brand terpene profiles. When customers hadn’t had a clue what to buy in front of me they took their time and were actually helpful.

     Only issue is the space feels cramped, especially when they are busy.

     All in all, a very good one amongst the masses!

     What will keep me coming back, is after a small mishap(my fault, not theirs) they were able to work with me and figure out a solution that worked out for everyone.

     When I came back in Linda was there to help me, just as friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as Chris. These guys are worth the extra couple miles for commute.

     As a medical patient I really appreciate how they edit and maintain there social media and menus. Everything is clear and thoughtfully presented. They really do care about the patients.

499. The place is kind of small, and after a few minutes of silence, a man’s hand and face appeared, sort of, through a little hole in a larger window-like area… At about three feet and a half high. This somehow both relaxed me and endeared them to me. It was surreal.

     I’m hoping I’m not wrong -was it Chris and Courtney who helped me?
     Well, they were cool- not snobby or hipster or pretentious etc. Like many budtenders, they’re informative and considerate- and they also made me feel comfortable enough to look at and smell and discuss the bud, looking around a while as they helped another person.

     It reminds me of what Peterson’s would have been, if it were tiny, sold pot instead of nudie mags, and existed out by 82nd and Sandy. Though this location just doesn’t feel like 82nd usually does; thank goodness.

     The edibles are in back and I have terrible eye sight, so unfortunately I couldn’t see many products; I just didn’t want to ask them to show me, just to look at them and take u time, but I know that they wouldn’t have thought twice to do it. I chose the CBD/THC green taffy (for me a perfect dose), and two Ripped City Sodas (which at 150mg per, are usually best sipped over ice, over time, with a friend).

     I found excellent products. I can’t wait to go back because their Obama Kush was the subject of much discussion. I overheard another buyer say, in admiration, “that’s some Obama Kush right there. That’s from his own PRIVATE stash.” I’m going to pick some up.

     Also, Chris chose a pre-roll for me – Gorilla Glue #4, which gave me the most perfect, euphoric and relaxing high at two hits! I could’ve written a book but instead I listened to detective radio. And wrote this review (my first online and so it’s taken me three times… Lol)!

     So like I said I’m going back. I am so happy I went. The atmosphere and attitude alone made it different than other experiences at dispensaries.

The young bud tender that helped me didn’t really know what he was doing, he didn’t have any recommendations and then when I selected flower, he took behind the counter to weigh. I didn’t get to smell the jar and or be privy to the buds he selected. I try and visit the local shops that are not supported by out of state funds and was really disappointed in this one…there are SO many other local little shops out there with better service, better vibe and higher quality meds.

They should show you the container the meds are in while you watch them get them for you. This place is BS. You will see sooner or later they will rip you. I rate this place a 1 out of 10. You wait outside when there is a line as well.

     I was not pleased at all with my visit to this dispensary. The male cashier was off-putting, and generally seemed uninterested in assisting me. This was my first visit to this dispensary, so I was not familiar with cash register locations. In addition, the male cashier was stationed near the entry door, near where Identifications were be taken. I was not sure if he was just taking Identifications or handling transactions. I asked a simply question to the male cashier–Is this the cash register where I pay? His response was–It’s one of them. He said this with a comedic tone in his voice, attempting to turn my question into some kind of joke for the other people in the dispensary.

     Luckily for me, there was a much more personable female bud tender that actually assisted me. Taking his rude, and mostly disappointing response, I decided to direct myself to the other side of the dispensary where I assumed there was another cash register, since he did clued me into the fact that there was at least one more location where I could make my purchase. This communication exchange occurred within the first five seconds I was inside the dispensary.

     I was planning to buy the max. rec. amount of flower, but I decided to purchase only a single pre-roll.

     I was further disappointed when I returned home and inspected the product. The quality of the product that I purchased was terrible (Wedding Cake Pre-roll). It was so bad, I’m not even sure it was 100% cannabis. I could not finish this pre-roll.

     I will not be visiting this location again. I will not be recommending this dispensary to anyone.

     Recommendation for this location:
     CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING
     STOP SELING THAT TERRIBLE STUFF THEY ARE CALLING WEDDING CAKE(WORST, SO CALLED, CANNABIS I’V SMOKED IN YEARS…YEARS).
     THEY SHOULD ALSO TRY TO FIND A LARGER LOCATION.

691. There were three budtenders on staff at the time I came in. The guy that helped me was great. I found the right meds for me. Beyond that they keep a very good stock of concentrates. It was impressive considering the size of the establishment. The most impressive thing to me was when my budtender went in back I was looking at flower and one of the other guys had been paying attention and set exactly what I was looking for in front of me. I appreciate the customer service. As for the flower. It was worth every penny. The buds are well trimmed and properly handled. They were great quality and I will go there again. The thing that drew me in is that they had a discount for veterans. This community for the most part has been great help getting us the meds we need to treat ourselves in a sane and logical manner. The one star off should only be a half because parking is a little dicey.

739. Funny thing is, I was in a year long recovery center for alcohol near this store, and would often walk by when AmeriCanna 1st opened. I would walk by dreaming, knowing I might not drink again, but I will certainly smoke when I am out of the rehab… I dropped in about a month and a half ago, and got one of their $24 eights. The staff was cool, the 1/8 was at 26% THC, and I got some sorta cool/cheesy leaf socks. I came back again, and then got one of their $30 quarters! That is crazy Old School pricing for some select herb! Once again, cool staff, and the manager – a really nice lady whose name I did not get- was busy stocking, and then I got another pair of socks. Yummy bud again. My last visit, I purchased another 30$ 1/4. A new guy (new to me) helped me, and seemed a bit less knowledgeable than the other employees I had dealt with. He let me smell the limited, specific bud for that deal price, and it was at around 25% THC. I like higher CBD also, but am just mentioning the stony aspect of high THC. He put my purchase in a bag, with another pair of silly weed socks, and I went on my way. Not until some time had passed, and I was far from the shop, I opened the bag to find the THC level listed was 1/2 that of what I smelled and was labelled.. I returned to the shop to be advised, and that is why I am writing this review. The guys that were running the store earlier were there, and I explained the inconsistency. Then it became uncomfortable, and they seemed to scramble to give me answers they think I wanted. Their mistake rationale was not plausible, and it took forever to return the 1/2 in exchange for a couple of grams of good old Jack Herer. They did not give me the 30$ 1/4 deal or even the 24$ 1/8 one, but gave me the 2 grams at regular price with shoddy cover up concerning the previous exchange. They whispered, made excuses that made not sense, and the guy took forever to fix it all. He was in back for and absurd amount of time. It seemed like they were trying to cover tracks. So, if the manager was there, I am sure it would have ended up different. I was not compensated or adjusted to address wrong info, a trip back to the dispensary, or just being a pretty cool newer customer. Being used to the generous Cali dispensaries, I will probably not go back to AmeriCanna because I feel they did not handle things properly. Last visit no good. But, before that they were Aces!

I found this place on Leafly and they were on the way home from my work so I checked out the menu. I found they had several strains for a donation that fit my allowance for the week. They also carry clear cartridges which is hard to find around Portland! They don’t take card (like most places) but they’ve got an ATM!
