1. This is my go to shop. I absolutely adore everyone who works there. They’re sweet as can be and remember me every time I come in. The only thing I would ever fix is I wish they had edibles. Sometimes a girl just needs a brownie. But their fast service, bright faces, and knowledge will always bring me back.

5. You guys should definitely put all of your edibles on the Leafly! The woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly at all. Once I got let in, it was a different story! I got helped by a tall blonde with glasses, she was great! They have so many edibles and different strains! Awesome little spot! 🙂

10. This is a funky, fun little spot. Stopped through on a trip through Bend and glad we did. Budtenders were warm and welcoming, the decor alone could be the setting for a bar I could spend hours in. Picked up Bent Kombucha which was awesome!

12. Favorite dispensary in Bend. Granted, I haven’t been to all of them, but they are good enough that I don’t need to.

    Before moving to Oregon from Florida back in April, I had researched the dispensaries in the area and was instantly drawn to their name because I have a Japan thing. My first visit to them was on my first wedding anniversary, 4/20! I tried my first Harlequin, got a fancy t-shirt (that I happen to be wearing right now), and found my new favorite place.

    Customer service is always fantastic. There was one incident where I wanted to return something and it was handled in a satisfying manner. They’ve taken excellent care of myself and my husband ever since. We spread the love on social media, tell everyone we meet about them, that kinda thing.

    Quality has never been an issue. I’m married to a second generation grower so I’m informed immediately if something doesn’t look/feel/taste/smell right. They outsource to incredible companies, and they have good in-house buds.

    Prices are low. They aren’t the lowest in the city, maybe a close second, but I wouldn’t shop at the first one personally. All of their prices include rec taxes, which comes in really handy. Also, they’re on Leafly! If I’m planning a trip down there I just hop on it and see what’s new and or on sale.

    They sell clones! And clothes, and 420 friendly knick knacks, and edibles. Their $1 lighter with a Tokyo sticker works better than the ones I’ve bought from any gas station.

    Anyway, they’re just awesome. If you’re planning a trip to Bend, check them out first. THEN you can try the others. 🙂

13. On 1st of February I took a tour of some of the local establishments in Bend. When I travel to other places in Oregon my friend and I like to take Dispensary tours.

    This is a tough little nut to crack. The easy atmosphere is geared towards to local clientele from the surrounding area. I love the name, The customer service was great and the building gives it kitschy feel. You would not go wrong stopping in on the way through to get a Bend atmosphere fix.

    There were two stations in the back, they had plenty of product on display along with two tablets at a table to research what they have if you are taking your time. I would have given it a higher rating but I wold not be the client they would normally look for, so I had a hard time with the too easy atmosphere especially up front.

    At this stop I choose some XJ-13, Green Lotus, Harle Tsu and a lighter with their logo.

14. Amazing location, amazing staff. The quality of cannabis is incredible as well as the knowledge of employees! Must go if you want to be educated or get really stoned!

21. Tokyo Starfish has a beautiful, comfortable atmosphere right from the start. The check in process is fast and the staff are all very friendly and engaging. Great prices and extra deals on their specials sheet. Oh, and for retail shoppers like me, the Leafly flower menu prices are accurate and the store’s prices are the same for both retail and medical. This will change in January 2016 when 25% tax on retail sales goes into effect, so stock up now! Fresh, beautiful flowers are carefully handled by the budtenders. I will definitely return and highly recommend.

25. when I walked into the store, being my first time, I was immediately greeted by the super friendly gal up front. right after she checked us in, we were immediately welcomed into the back room. they had a fair selection of things to choose from. the staff were super friendly, and prices were reasonable. had a great time, as staff was very knowledgeable, and courteous. very comfortable/easy setting. I definitely will be back. great job guys!

31. Though a bit hard to find, Tokyo Starfish is going to be added to my routine. Friendly staff, they had an iPad loaded with the menu and stuff while you’re waiting, and one of the things that really stood out to me was that the listed prices include tax! I haven’t seen that anywhere else, and it makes a lot of sense to me. The budtender I worked with was really nice and well informed, A+ there.

34. Great location, fairly low key looking establishment (not a lot of herb leaves or neon green crosses in the windows) which is preferable to me. Honestly, first couple of months I drove by it I thought it was a Japanese food restaurant. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly without the condescending tone if you have questions. My choice neighborhood place!

37. Been here a few times and the bud is really hit or miss. Sometimes old and dried out like the last sour diesel i got. Service is not good at all. I always feel rushed and never feel like the selection is anything special. It always feels like they are trying to sell as much as possible regardless of quality. Much better dispensaries in town.

38. Updating my review…just wanted to say thank you to the owner for not only replying to my rant, but also for fixing the problem! Props to the owner for being one of the only ones who actually post negative reviews! I’ve not had a bad experience since my last post and have visited many times since. This dispensary is doing everything the right way, IMHO. Flower has been as good as anyone else’s, and the prices are usually competitive for the most part. Cannabend wouldn’t post my negative review! Tokyo is much better.

43. Great little set-up they have got going on! I was visiting from out of town and checked out quite a few of the shops in bend and they are by far one of my favorite. I was super surprised and really happy when i found out my budtender(Mac) was really knowledgeable about terpenes and cannabinoids. Everything he recommended me was awesome and had incredible flavor. We even came back again a couple days later and I had the Mac again as a budtender and he even recognized me and asked how i liked my previous product. Super cool environment. Will definitely be coming back here on my next visit to Bend. Thanks again!:)

48. Wonderfully designed shop that caters to any type of consumer as their staff is highly knowledgeable and seem to have a good background in the industry. The environment is very relaxed and makes you feel comfortable. I went in for a nice uplifting sativa to keep my creative juices flowing and was directed to 2 wonderful strains. 1, a classic, Jack Herer and the other was Great White Shark. Both were cured perfectly as the flavor still held strong down to the last toke of a bowl. Effects were spot on with what I desired. The budtender that helped me was very helpful. Great work. 🙂
