This quaint dispensary is located off of Barbur Blvd, next to Capitol Highway. As soon as you step through our doors, your vacation from the world begins! Adorn with surfboards, shells, and an abundance of other trinkets to solidify the paradise vibes. You’ll be greeted by one of fantastic budtenders with a welcome as warm as the islands themselves. All of our budtenders are knowledgeable in all of our products and are dedicated to helping every customer or patient find the perfect product(s) for them. Once you enter the back room, you’ll feel like a child in a candy store. With something for everyone, including the cannabis connoisseur to the bud beginners. We carry everything from edibles, cartridges, topicals, concentrates, flower, and even paraphernalia to smoke from. And within our various categories, we have amazing qualities for unbelievable prices – and we have budgets deals for the customers/patients not looking to break the bank. Personally for me it’s great. It’s a small place which is comfortable. The staff is awesome. Jordan has helped me several times and it has always prompted me to go back. This is not my first trip there and will not be the last.

Easy to get to, easy parking, friendly knowledgeable staff too! This one is worth stopping in any time you are going north or south on Barber blvd around Capital Hwy.
Upon first entering this location there was difficulty signing in at the front desk…took quite some time until we were able to get in. once inside the staff was kind and courteous offering you a sniff of every strain… the prices on their specials are tempting and I grabbed a gram of all 4… however it was in this purchase that I was quickly reminded …”you get what you pay for”… all 4 were dry and crumbly… and 1 I can only describe as shake….reminds me of the street dealer days when I would get the tail end of his stash…or a new dealer of a “friend” would try to sell you shake as “pre ground”… the effects of all four were delightful….but in the time it took me to pick it off the GIANT stems and scoop up the powdery results to smoke, I have to say I’m willing to pay a bit more. Now…like I said… the four strains that I received were on special… I didn’t try any of their top shelf strains so I can’t speak of them. They package in the normal squeeze pop bottles however their labels leave much to be desired…almost no information?.. maybe it’s just me… but if you’re going to pay to print the label anyway, you might as well put some more info on there about the plant?….your business?…maybe even a logo?….. don’t know if there will be a next time..but I’ll definitely add more….IF I do go back.
I LOVE THIS PLACE the people here are very nice. and will answer any questions u can think of they also do trivia questions for a discount if you get it right .
Jordan was one of the most knowledgeable and accomadating bud tenders I’ve ever encountered. She went above and beyond with her service. Been coming to this place for years and thanks to Jordan, her coworkers, and the quality of bud this place facilitates I will most certainly continue doing business here.
Hilarious! Living to its name, palm trees, surf boards, sea shells. But now to the real stuff, best selection of medibles I have ever seen! I am a medible kidda of gal. At first glance, lots of concentrates and flowers. I liked the staff. Took their time with me. Close to home so definitively will come back.
Super friendly people with great prices
This was the first time I’ve ever walked out of a dispensary without any product.
This place is pretty new, but it’s doing so many things wrong. First of all, there are no prices on anything other than flower. That means if you have to ask how much every single thing costs that you’re interested in, and wait while the budtender struggles to figure it out.
The flowers there are not actually very good quality, especially for the price they are asking. A couple bucks less per gram on everything would be a good start.
The person working when I was there was not familiar with the products, was nervous, flustered, and could not even explain which flowers were Indica/Hybrid/Sativa. The owner had to be called 3 separate times in order to find information about certain items. As a patient, it was impossible for me to receive correct information on the products I was interested in. There were even items without any information (strains, test results, etc.) about the product at all, so there are compliancy issues that need to be figured out as well.
The budtender also forgot to give me my card back before I left. When I came back later I was told, “you forgot it”. No, no, no. I work at a dispensary, and if we forget to give a patient back their ID we apologize. Not only that, but we offer a free gift for them having to come all the way back because of our mistake. Anything less is just plain rude.
This dispensary was not ready to be opened, and a lot of work needs to be done before they’re capable of properly serving their patients. I wish them the best, but it’s going to be a long road ahead.
High quality products. Hard to find items. Expensive for some things though.
I love these guys. The paradise is truly that. “Allen” is always ready to greet me and the friendly staff is quite helpful with selection. Can’t wait to come back!
Totally love it here, the lady at the front desk who wears glasses is wonderful to talk with. And there tenders aren’t phoning it in, they know the stock. Everyone should go try Jazz.
As you first walk in you get hit with that unmistakable smell of Bud, which is nice. Unfortunately it goes down from there. The bud tenders DO NOT know their strains, even the owner is oblivious, and when shown a discrepancy on strains marked as indica dominant still chose to do nothing. the prices are high for the dry flower they sell it’s obvious the owner is in it just for the money.
Medical patients, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
General public, you can find a lot better in close proximity of where they are.

Everyone working here are very knowledgeable and friendly showing positivity always. The best part about this store compared to all others I have so far been to since recreational was legal to purchase is that they guide users to see and smell strands right on counter and therefore check out who is ready. This is a great model besting out the others that are trying to give individual customer service one at a time. .Problem with that type of line structure is the workers answer the same questions one by one cause apparently no one behind someone listens

I just moved to Oregon and this was the first place I went to. Arbitrary to some reviews I did get my 10% off for the first visit. But. Moving on I believe that yes they have a wide range of flowers, but nothing really jumped out at me flower wise. What I really recommend going to shop here for is concentrates. They have one of the most varied non cartridge concentrates I’ve seen here. (Remember I just got here a month ago, and have been to only a couple dispensaries but others I’ve been to have half of the concentrate selection in cartridges) would definitely refer someone here for concentrates rather than a one stop shop but everyone here is super friendly

This is my favorite spot in SW PDX. The tropical themed interior is super laid back and the budtenders are very friendly and knowledgeable.

What can i say it was truly paradise ! I wish i had emojis to truly express what an amazing experience i had !! time and time again i have gone into a place and felt rushed or unconformable… NOT with this place ! Walk threw the door your greeted, checked in quickly. ( which is usually a hassle !) The Bud tenders are beautiful and very helpful. Thanks lady’s ! Bud selection was expensive with great prices. you can go in with as little as 6$ and come out on top! the most per gram was only 12$ i have seen other places as much as 17 ! I am medical so i got to enjoy all they’re wonderful edibles one brownie had 249 mg of thc lets just say i could only eat half. Thanks Karma treats ! Officially wins my favorite dispensary award ! Marijuana Paradise was the first stop on our Recreational Day journey since they had a strain I have been dying to try out. We arrived about 20 minutes early and they were kind enough to let us go in anyway! After check-in we got to enjoy our first recreational marijuana purchase with some very friendly and helpful staff. My wife was fond of their decor and I was fond of the glorious display of sticky goodness. They weighed our product right in front of us and sent us on our way with a feeling that we’ll be visiting quite often. Thanks Marijuana Paradise for a great first experience! Just wishing we were your first retail customers, but second is totally cool with me 😉

The atmosphere is really nice, but seriously they really screw up when it comes to weighing the product. I’ve been there a couple of times but I feel shorted every time. I understand that leaf is very loose and light so that it is a very easy mistake to come under, but in both my visits they never waited for the scale to adjust and the second it hit 3.5g they immediately printed the tag. In one particular instance they weighed somewhere around 3.2 or 3.3 grams of leaf at first and then proceeded to put a small nug of leaf onto the scale which made it jump a little between 3.5 and 3.6, instead of breaking it up, they simply just took it out and as the scale was balancing itself, the second it hit 3.5. Interested in this of course I weighed it myself when I got home and low and behold it was 3.3g.

Cool Irie Hawiian beach bar vibe, and I like that the owner showcases his surfboards, and helpful but slow staff. They have a good edible and concentrate selection too, but I found the quality of the flower mediocre at best, it was actually terrible. I asked if the flower was older, as it was decayed dry and dingy overly dried yellowed and withered and weak in its appearance. I had a feeling it was old bottom shelf the infamous tell tale smell of stale hay, maybe it was just the particular container it thought initially, but they all smelled and looked similar. Whenever I detect a musky hay smell it’s an indicator that the weed has been sitting around too long and often garbage. I give the bud rating a C- for Portland standards. It smokes smoked rather harshly, and the terpene profile was diminished as it was harsh and dry, and I just know it was not a true 28% THC test rating as indicated. I bought a pre roll of OG kush, must’ve been stood for OLD GANJA! I looked on test tube and just as I suspected it was a year and two weeks old! I Any weed sitting at room temperature for 54 weeks claiming 28% THC is nowhere near fresh nor accurate in its misleading and unacceptable. This was a $1-$2 joint, and priced at $5 for medical patients. I find a 10% discount for first time medical patients stingy. I will not be going back as I think this place should really step up the quality of the flower, or at least not display buds that looks and smoke like like sun burnt greenhouse weed, not high end top shelf organic indoor. They must lower their prices if they are going to pedal stale withered, leafy, weed that looks more like old sun trim that has been sitting in a container for nine months rather than freshly harvested dank nuggets in October!
Picked up some Thin Mint GSC on the recommendation of the knowledgeable and friendly Jordan. Good prices for excellent product, and Jordan really help me to narrow down exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

very cute store and staff. the owners wife I believe is usually behind the counter and she is very sweet always a pleasure to talk to. the bud girls are knowledgeable but you have to watch them or they will slip you the stemmiest buds they can find in the jar if you’re not looking! doesn’t matter if you’re a nice guy or what you tip or how many times you been there I’ve got no explanation. six out of nine times so far though so I feel like I should mention it
Very friendly and helpful service. Very organized and clean with lots of different choices. They provided me with a very nice explanation for me as a caregiver on what the best choices in medicine are for a family member who is medical patient. I definitely recommend this dispensary.

all is good at this place. the people and atmosphere are laid back and comfortable. really wish they would upgrade their storage containers because their product can get pretty dry. they are kinda weird with the scale too. sometimes I get unlabeled containers and sometimes handwritten labels. with no weight on them or parts of the labels torn off. I really wish they could invest in some updated storage containers and a better scale and label printing system. I like the place and will definitely continue going there.
I’ve tried more than 4 marijuana stores in the Tigard area and this store is definitely the best. They give high quality buds with reasonable price.

Came in to grab a gram for a friend’s birthday. Ended up getting some decent bud but the tender used her hands to pick out the buds! I don’t require gloves but tongs or chopsticks would be appreciated. It’s all in the little details…better options are available on Barbur Blvd.

I really enjoy this place, I come here often because they are nice and don’t hastle me and try to get myself to buy more than I want. They sell cheap and it’s worth the drive to go there once in a while. Although I’ve been to many dispensaries, this is one that I regularly go to. Definitely recommend.
This place has gone down hill recently. I was once a regular customer but recently I’ve had some issues. The other day a budtender told me some bud was cheaper than it was and then gave me a higher price than discussed originally. I would have been okay had I been told that the bud was a higher price to begin with. And trust me this was not just a tax issue. Needless to say i will never return here to buy anything again.

This is what i remember things were like BEFORE the Recreational market changed most ‘Multi Location Dispensaries” into unwelcoming spaces for Medical Patients.
I was helped by Leeann. She was of great benefit. Not just another Budtender who thinks they know marijuana due to the fact they smoke it..

I used to shop here, but left when edible prices went through the roof.

Salvador was a fantastic help today. He gave me a run down on the products and gave me exactly what I was looking for.
First time in this dispensary and found the front staff super friendly and nice, the budtender lady was sharp and friendly… The reason I gave two stars is the flower I purchased was very sloppy in it’s trim with lots of stems and not very appealing… of course after grinding it up and bonging it down, it was fine– Had the tender not been so cool, I’d likely pass on another visit–
I like the flowers they have, nice top shelf. Cool feel and great people working here. Knowledgeable. Great selection of medibles. Awesome selection of oils.

Your journey into paradise begins by a typically friendly greeting by KIP. KIP is The Janitor who keeps the place so clean you can eat off the floor. KIPS other duties include creating schedules helping the Bud tenders, and teaching people how to chill.

Honestly wasnt impressed with the prices of prerolls. I am a visitor to Oregon and uve stopped at many dispensaries here. This is my 1st one in Portland and it honestly disappointed me. I couldn’t even get a dispensary sticker for free with my purchase and I ALWAYS get free dispensary sticker. Like WTF!?

I was suggested some of the best bud I’ve ever had by my first budtender Sierra! When I went back Alexis and Jordan helped me out again. All of their staff if super friendly and knowledgeable! Only critique is how crowded it can get, but usually it’s slow enough to have one-on-one help.

Went here last Friday and was disappointed in the quality of service and product. Products were old dating back to may when they got tested including the medible I got; the twisted bar I remember fondly from years ago turned out to be completely ineffective probably due to them sitting out at room temperature through the entire summer and the employee couldn’t even remember to give me my first time deal even after twice mentioning it and no apology or anything after they scrounged around to give me my 10% off in cash. Then after I made a comment about no water being available to patients I was given a passive aggressive response before leaving. Never going to come back here again that’s for sure.
Every time I come in to marijuana paired they are always busy, but they find a way to get me my meds, and they have really good quality buds!!

I think this may be the first OMMP dispensary that has the word “Marijuana” in the title. It’s right near Barbur Foods and has a Hawaiian theme. I liked the buds and it was decently priced as well.

The staff is nice but not particularly knowledgeable, and the product is subpar and overpriced.
It was my first time there, yesterday. Firstly, if you are handicapped, do not go here. Seriously. I only use a cane, mind you, and it was not easy for me to maneuver the stairs. They have two sets; one up front to the door and some on the side. The side stairs are easier because there is less of angle, but still. If I had not been flying on some Gron edibles, it would have been really bad. But I had come all the way from Forest Grove on the bus, no less, so I did what I had to do. It’s a nice enough place inside. They’ve got some really nice surfboards out front and in the lobby. But they do not honor their 10% discount for first time OMMP patients. It was clearly marked not only here in Leafly, but on their chalkboard that their Cherry Skunk and their Skunkdawg was only $40 a 1/4. I was charged as if it was full price for both, no discount at all. My budtender, Tamara, was great otherwise. The nugs she gave me are quite nice and the weed is good, but I don’t like that I had to do those stairs, no discount and I had to help a fellow patient with a lot of things. Her budtender was confusing the hell out of her. I’ve been a patient for almost six years. I know the ins and outs of this stuff. But seriously, with all the competition out there, I know of many other places with no complicated stairs and bud tenders who honor the discounts.

Marijuana Paradise was fantastic! I went there for the first time yesterday and found their dispensary immaculate, well stocked and the employees extremely helpful. They were so nice I look forward to going back and recommending it to friends. They took the time to explain the different products and what might be best for my needs. I also liked that their well stocked inventory comes from Oregon and is all organically grown. I highly recommend a visit here and look forward to giving them my business.
