Jamaica Joel’s is the dispensary for the people. Locally owned and operated, we are located in the heart of downtown Eugene, Oregon in the historic Kennel Ellis building on 13th and Willamette. Come visit us seven days a week 8am-10pm and take advantage of a different discount each day, including 15% off for all first time purchasers, students, and veterans. This is my absolute favorite dispensary. Always great quality, always a relaxed environment. Very professional staff. I just wish they took debit and credit like other dispensaries do, I know they have an ATM but it would be nice if they would get debit credit. With all that being said I will definitely be going back here

Receptionist was amazing and friendly as well as the lady who answered my questions. I went in with the intention of purchasing a non-disposable dab pen and was sad to find that their inventory was lacking in the range of what I was looking to pay. They have some great pens with awesome features but they’re on the spendy side with the cheapest one being $120. That being said even their cheapest pen had temperature control so the more expensive ones just got more amazing, I wish I had enough cash for the E-Hooka. Anyone that wants to go drop a good amount on a great pen should go with $200 in their pocket as a first time customer to Joel’s and buy a sweet dab pen with that 10% discount.
They were friendly, brought up the first time customer discount without any prompting from me and even let me keep said discount because I walked out without making a purchase. The lobby was a great sitting area with some chill music playing, everything about the place was welcoming with bright colors. Sad that I couldn’t spend my cash there but I’m eager for my next visit so I can take advantage of that 10%.
I love this shop because they promote feeling good and having fun. They have a super good code of conduct and I always leave smiling.Also the products are high end. They are keeping me happy and surprised. all the time.
I can’t say enough nice things about this shop. Spacious and welcoming lobby with an amazingly comfortable large couch. There isn’t usually a wait time, though, but damn that couch is comfy. The bud room is on the smaller side, but the flower selection is good and is straight fowardly priced (tax included) from budget-friendly to the more expensive top shelf strains, some of which are of excellent quality. The buds are served up by some of the friendliest budtenders in the industry. The staff at Jamaica Joel’s has always been very kind to me, so I really enjoy coming in. They make me feel right at home from the moment I enter to the time I leave and say goodbye. In a city with as many great retail stores as Eugene, you’ve got plenty of options here…but based on my experience, Jamaica Joel’s is a cut above the rest. Check out their daily deals!
This was a first time experience and I must say I was extremely impressed. From the professionalism and service to the detailed information I received was amazing and helpful. The atmosphere was extremely comfortable and the people were very friendly. Would recommend and will be back again soon!

Happen to be walking downtown and came across this Dispensary. I decide to check it out because it was going to be my first time in one. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was friendly and made sure that I was going to have a good one. The weed is beyond fire. They have best joints for 5 bucks. It’s simply can’t get any better than that. This is the only place I will go in eugue.
Very well finished interior, good bud selection for just starting out, sure the inventory will continue to grow larger as the place grows. Best GSC CO2 Oil cartridges there that I have had to date.
Great place to go and chill kinda like your best friends place and they sale cannabis in the back I know a lot of people have things to say about it there but I think after you go back for a second time they treat you as family use your name welcome you back ask about how you looked what you got last time everything I ever wanted love it there and can’t wait to grab more
Went in to pick up a j and there was a problem with the register so they said they were sorry for the wait and offered me a 10-cent joint! unfortunately the dime joint didnt have a crutch and was falling apart, but hey it was only 10 cents. All real primo bud, and some really impressive $10,000 glass to gawk at. Great location too.

Great location downtown, and you walk into a glorious sitting room, with tea and coffee and a huge super comfy couch. The back room was spacious and I didnt feel cramped even with 5 other costumers in the space. Absolutely no smell (for all the sensitive noses out there), the music choice was superb and the selection was great. Prices were amazing, and the people working were so helpful and I never felt like I couldnt ask a question. They were attentive and knowledgeable of their products. Best shop I have ever been to, and will be going back again.

I went to Jamaica Joel’s on the first day it opened legally, I was so impressed with how friendly and down to earth the staff was. The vibe is homey and inviting. Since my first time I have came almost every day and am treated with such kindness every visit. It will definitely continue to be my dispensary shop as long as I live in Eugene.
First time Rec users get 10% off?!?! No way! They couldn’t sell me a certain pre roll because it wasn’t in the system, so he have me TWO of another strain from the same growers. I came in with $26 and I left with a full bag of treats and a dollar left over for the tip jar. Big smile right now. HUGE.
Good ole Jamaica Joe’s .. They are really a compassionate group of people & extremely knowledgeable about their products and their products are on point (top shelf for sure). Great selection with good prices just make sure you go upstairs and check them out as worth it you won’t regret!
It is exactly as one would expect based upon the name. However they have a great location in the heart of downtown Eugene. They have attained a decent array of strains since opening. Love the student special that they now are promoting (UO & LCC students 10% off w/ current ID).
This is a solid Rec dispensary especially if you are already downtown!

This is the most enjoyable “Pot Shop” to visit in Eugene! The atmosphere at Jamaica Joel’s, brings you back to the 90’s when the flower stuck to the bag always. At this place the cannabis sticks to the container, lol. Their menu consists of strains that you will not find anywhere else. When it’s time to check out you don’t want to leave. Jim is by far my favorite bud tender in the state, and I look forward to coming back. Their Girl Scout Cookie that tested at 25.74% was my favorite, I also enjoyed the AK 47, that tested at 24.16%. That Dutch Treat is also great to puff on during the day time. I will be back for sure:)

Our first time in Travis, one of the owners(I think), came out to personally greet us and answer any questions we had. He then gave us a sample for later and turned us loose on their wide selection and knowledgeable staff.
They are well stocked, and have a product for you whatever your desired effects or preferred method of intake.
If you have questions they have no problem taking the time to get you to your answer. Then they throw 10% at you for your first visit, and they’ll refund your ATM fee when you spend more than 40 bucks. They have so much new stuff to try that that’s pretty easy to do.
Check them out, you’ll walk out of there happy.
Love this place, bottom line. Tenders are very informative, nice relaxing place even if you were in a rush prior. It will be your go to place after the first time you been in.

From what I have researched JJs clones are one of the lowest prices in town! The whole staff are also very friendly people, and motivated at their job. The $7 grams are a high percentage of THC, which works for me.

High end products for a reasonable price. Love that the tax is included as it honestly should be. Other places make profit on the base price, sometimes even over pricing by a few dollars per gram and still add an unnecessary ‘tax’ on top that isn’t in the oregonian spirit. Like this place, the tax should be accounted for in the price otherwise it feels like one is being robbed or lied to. I have been here a few times and each time the staff were friendly, caring, and understanding. Great selection of both bud, cartridges, and extracts. As well as amazing price on the edibles. Also they treat both their rec, and medical patients well and if they don’t know an answer they will look it up.

You might have to look one or two times to remember this dispensary is up a flight of stairs, but once you do you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely great little receptionist area, big and comfortable so you don’t feel someone is breathing over your shoulder. The staff are beyond friendly and they have a great selection of flower, some which I haven’t seen in other stores. Beautiful buds, knowledgeable staff, I recommend this place highly!
Super Skunk #1 was labeled as $35 an eighth on Leafly, but when I went to buy it I was told that it was $50 an eighth, and the best tgey could do was 15% off of $50, which is $42.50. I walked out without purchading anything, because this amounts to a bait and switch, and the fact that they refused to honor their posted price speaks directlyvto the character of the individuals running the shop.
This is my go to shop. I have always been greeted by a very friendly and knowledgable staff. The selection and prices rival that of any of the local dispensaries that I have visited. Thank you!
First I was not recognized as a patient. I think this place is way over priced!! The bud tender sketched me out! I told him pricing was high and he told me all dispensaries where charging 15 a gram, for this same flower. I know this is not true. I don’t appreciate the bud tender telling me lies. It makes me wonder what other shady stuff is going on there? Needless to say I don’t recommend this place. I was really disappointed . I don’t need to go to Jamaica to get quality bud. I will stay elevated in Eugene!! Keep it local.

Picked up an ounce of Thunderbird Rose, a few leafy bits here and there, but for $35!? I couldn’t say no. Amazing shop, never have I felt more welcome and at home to a dispensary. Too bad I live 2.5 hours away otherwise I’d be here every day to soak up the good vibes!

I give every good review “4 stars”, and every less-than-good review 2 stars. Jamaica Joel’s is open from 10 am to 10 pm 7 days per week. Medical and recreational service in a convenient downtown location; and every person who works there has great product knowledge. I would have written a good review JUST FOR their being open until 10 pm on Sunday night (actually all 7 days, hmmm). They have dozens of flower choices, most/all of the Peak Extracts chocolate medibles, and much, much more. This is a top-3 dispensary in Eugene.

I love Jamaica Joel’s! They are very friendly, they often have special deals (daily), and the environment is very relaxed and comfortable. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the lobby, and plenty of strains to choose from. I recommend anyone who loves marijuana, to visit Jamaica Joel’s. There is also tons of information available about the strains they carry in the store, which I find useful. One thing I wish they did was somehow label each strain as indica or sativa.

The quality of buds is good but I don’t really like the service here; especially budtenders. I felt really sad when i came to buy a discount strain. They seem reluctant introducing discount strains for customers. The guy (i think he has eyes problem) wasn’t happy at all when i asked about the $7/gr strain. I have been here more than 10 times in the last 3 months among more than 20 dispensaries in eugene, and I got negative treaments for 2 times buying discount strain. They even made me feel bad about myself as well. They need to understand how important it is, good service even on promotion.

Even if they don’t always have the absolute strongest weed around, you can bet they have the best deals– without it being bargain basement stuff. You have to catch yourself before you pass it because it’s upstairs but the plus is there is a Crepes food cart right there, so you can munch on something before or after 🙂 nothing was outstanding the few times I visited, but also not disappointing. The waiting area is comfortable, but again I don’t like to wait either 😉 they have local glass which is awesome to see and they have a quantity of good products to choose from.

My first time in here last night. My wife and I stopped in after having dinner downstairs. I liked the look of the front room. Nice space to hang while waiting with a tv and local glass.
Unfortunately, the fellow running the desk was not clued into his environment.
We weren’t greeted and stood around for awhile as the doorman continued to focus on his mini pad. After several minutes, I asked what we needed to do. Without breaking stride in his typing, he said we had to check in. Still no eye contact.
I pulled out my ID and waited….
More people came in then. The doorman treated them with as much regard as he did us.
I told him we’d stop by later, maybe.
“Fair enough.” was his distracted response.
My hopes are that I read the situation incorrectly and that he was indeed very busy on an important business matter. I doubt that was the case.
It’s true what they say about first impressions.
I have shopped at Jamaica Joel’s several times now. It is always a pleasant atmosphere, the bud tenders are polite and knowledgeable about the different strains. The prices are average for the area, but the strains are all top quality. I keep going back because of all the dispensaries that I have been to since October 1st, they treat me like a friend.
This place makes smoking weed in Eugene what it is today……Jack always actin like a punk-made-bitch…..but that’s hardly a complaint…..KUDOS!

All three people working here seemed for real happy,and were definitely happy to help. Combine that with a great selection, good location, and the inevitable Jamaican decor and what’s not to like? You may have to hunt a little for the entrance, it’s upstairs.
This is my favorite spot in Eugene. They have a ton of local flower, local glass and great prices!! The staff is friendly and knowledgable. I’ve watched them deal with very difficult customers in graceful and compassionate ways! I recommend this store to anyone who asks and you can’t beat not having to pay extra sales tax!! I love that the customers have easy access to all lab results as well as the comfortable and welcoming lobby. I’ve never been dissapointed leaving this place. Jamaica Joel’s has become my “go to” dispensary. Excellent Flowers, great deals and friendly staff, I love this place!
Always pleasant to come into, good atmospher, good products and good deals. I’ve been in several times and the bud tenders are ready with recommendations and opinions on product which is helpful. I’m happy they always have something on sale or some kind of deal which is great and if you use their atm and spend $40+ they wave the atm fee which is super nice.
Plus I want their reefer madness poster.
The Location is convenient and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a pleasure to give them my business.

I loved it! The receptionists greeted me with a warm welcome and spoke with me about my bi-polar issue and the first words out of her mouth we’re “are you feeling okay and if a sativa strain was what I was looking for.” I felt like she knew what she was talking about which was reassuring. Headed back to check out the nugs. I was really in for just a quick stop because my condition was getting worse and wanted to medicate as fast as possible. I found the cinex and grabbed half a gram (price was on point). It works like a charm! smokes nice and was cured perfectly. Very piney and smooth no coughing. Thanks JOELS!
I guess having a ton of things on special is a good thing but for me it just made it seem like they were desperate. Idk maybe im wrong…I’ll have to check them out again.

These guys are awesome!! I’ve been there a couple times before but it had been a long time. They have a great senior discount. The gentleman that helped me was very informative and turned me on to some new winberry cartridges. He loved the flavor and so do I. Thanks so much for that. I’m always looking for new kinds of cartridges but we don’t get very many down here in Eugene. I was told that this is one of the last towns the reps hit on their trip down I-5. Anyway fabulous shop! I will be back on sunday for the 20% discount.

Sorry, but I’m well past the point of putting up with places that don’t value their customers/prospective customers time. At this stage o the game there are zero excuses for not having your computer system together, not to mention a person who knows what they’re doing operating it. Simply no excuse at this point. Especially if you don’t have parking and your customers are using metered spots. Aside form this, there’s just a generally unappealing dinginess to the place. Their main appeal as far as I can tell is being near the University.
Good Flower, Good people, Decent deals and a wonderful location in downtown Eugene. I love these guys, and I can’t wait until I have money again to pop in and say whatsup. I smoked some super dank Blackwater flower from there and was one of the first 100 medicinal customers, so I managed to receive a free chillum. So hyped these guys are in town.

OMG June 2nd changes blew my mind , thank the bud tenders for the professional salesmanship and help choosing products. These sales people are good, they can practically shop for me. My medicine is critical and they always have a product that is effective for me that keeps my blood level at a healthy level. The prices are RIGHT on man, I have always found a big discount or sale price at Jamaica Joels Dispensary. This last visit I bought a Sugar top Buddery Mondo Bat ,Those are my favorite brand of joint in a fantastic dube tube and I know I can rely on this shop to have these joints in stock.Damn I LOVE to puff on a mondo bat and stubby bats too. With all the constant changes of supply and demand, & laws, its so frustrating when a product I love is gone or unavailable.Fortunately its all good with me because my fine bud tender Tyler recommend a new product and its sweet and enjoyable. First checked out this shop while walking around Eugene after grabbing lunch nearby. They’ve got a great selection of flower and concentrates. And there’s always various prerolls to choose from. Their fair prices and daily deals make it easy to head in with little bit of cash and roll out happy. They’ve got a great staff who’s been helpful in not only choosing frosty flower for particular tastes. Even if it’s busy (let’s say around 4:19?the waiting room is one of the most comfortable in town. There’s stuff to read, free coffee and tea, plus jenga if you wanna be social. All around good time at Jamaica Joel’s, check it out.

I have came to this dispensary a few times and the consistency of the flower is not up to par…they never have their menus posted and the fact that there isn’t any parking is a big minus…more let down by the fact ttheir menu is never available is huge…people don’t want to travel to your store and locate meter parking to find out that their selection isn’t what they were looking for
