7. I’ve been a loyal customer of SWC since their opening and have generally been okay with their growing pains. However, recently it seems as though you never seem to have what’s advertised on the menu’s in either product, or portion size although it’s still on the store menu, Leafly, and Weedmaps. Your either out of eighths, quarters, halves, whatever, and still advertise that you have them available! Really starting to get annoying when you choose what you want off of the lists only to hear “we’re out of ” either the size, or strain! GET IT TOGETHER! If you offering half-ounces at 170/180 and only have eighths or grams then it’s YOUR BAD! You should be forced to sell what your advertising by quantity and marked retail price just like ANY other merchant is required to do by law! Yesterday I wanted a half ounce of Pineapple Express and was offered a replacement called Tropicanna! Again because you only had eighth’s supposedly, although advertising ALL sizes available! This Tropicakka is pure NYC Diesel! I HATE IT AND GOT STUCK WITH HALF AN OUNCE OF IT! All because SWC didn’t have either the half ounces they advertised they had, or sufficient quantities of quarters to satisfy my request! So, thanks for sticking someone who’s been smoking longer than you’ve been alive with 175 dollars worth of absolute crap! I friggin HATE NY Diesel! That’s exactly what this Tropicakka stuff is derived from and would have IMMEDIATELY steered me away from it had it been mentioned! Caveat Emtor!

17. The location is horrible. Very little parking. Their process is cumbersome. Once you get in it’s a bit small but clean and nice. I tried a variety of strains and while most were average Dragon has a fantastic nose and great taste and high.

20. The staff were very friendly, and quick to explain the products and labelling. I’ve been in several clubs, and find this one to be one of the best ever. Reno is very lucky to have a dispensary like this. The product showcase is one of the best I’ve seen in Nevada. I also was lucky enough to get a gram of concentrate that was also 5 star quality. If you are first time patient. This would be the dispensary I would recommend for you. Their staff will be very helpful in getting your medicine fit to your needs.

    I also am glad to see great lab stats, I’m happy to see the periodic table of cannabis being used.

I am a medical card holder and have been going here for the last few years but after today I will never step foot into this place again… I understand that since recreational things are a little scarce but when I am treated like some sort of addict or stoner that crosses the line. ever since recreational was approved I had been told every week that medical would have everything they need well when I went in today they had hardly anything not to mention the stuff that I rely on them to have. And when I reached my limit on what they did have, it wasn’t “you are over your limit” but instead it was “I am only giving you…” hmmm same qty I have been getting for the last 2 years now it’s a problem? no I think they over extended themselves and were too greedy to make sure they get their cut of recreational that medical goes on the wayside… d ont bother with this place if you need things just if you want to get high

22. They are amazingly nice and friendly. My first encounter was before I got my card, scooping the area out. Before I wasn’t quite sure why my printed version of my doctors recommendation wasn’t accepted but, when I went into Sierra Wellness, the front desk woman explained everything to me. I didn’t even ask for an explanation on why when she told me no about accepting it. She even came out behind the glass to hear me better. It was awfully sweet.
    The second time I visited (completely prepared due to the previous gal), I was greeted by another nice woman who was very nice and reviewed my papers quickly. Then I was escorted to the back by a nice gentleman who walked me through the entire process and listened to every question I had with ease. He made the whole interaction comfortable and enjoyable.
    I to work in the customer service industry as well so I appreciate it when it’s reciprocated back in other business.

24. Knowledgeable staff. The wait time was acceptable. I like that medical care holders have priority which I am not. There is a scrolling display for the menu but I wish the had a better display of the menu items as well as some paper menus to look at while waiting.
    The selectionwas fantastic, I left everything I wanted and more.

31. Came to Reno for a day trip and forgot my medicine back home. They kindly excepted my California card and was able to register me into there system in 10 minutes. They menu and atmosphere was top notch along with there knowledge of the medicine provided. Coming back!

32. This place is one of my favorite dispensary or was now. I always come here mostly every week and sometimes things went wrong I totally understand it but this time is horrible. One of careless budtender can ruin it for you. I went in today wanna get like 3 different strains but my budtender just got me in and walk right back to the counter and start chatting with co-worker rather than take care of my questions. Okay that’s fine I’ll pick my own strain. Not yet over. I bought my bag in and I suppose to got 1$ off like normal but I don’t cuz he was too busy chatting to realized I bought my bag in. And at the end give me the wrong receipt. However I always expect information about my flowers that I’m goin to buy and I always spend 100$+ mostly every time I stopped by but after today with horrible budtender I got. I’ll go spend my money somewhere else than.

35. I called Sierra Wellness to make sure they had what I wanted before I got there. I was helped by a novice budtender who had a hard time knowing the difference between an indica and sativa cartridge. She needed to ask the other bud tenders for help with almost every question I had regarding percentages, cultivators and parents for the strains. When placing my order I asked to take my flower down from an eighth to a gram so I could afford to get some cheeba chews which she forgot to do. This establishment does not take returns of any type so I was forced to leave with no Cheeba chews and more flower than I needed due to HER error. I understand a misunderstanding or miscommunication but how hard is it to read back the order to a patient?? And when a customer comes in letting you know that the order they received is not what they wanted- its not necessarily the best customer service to make them feel like its their fault or they did something wrong! How do they expect to help patients if they cant even get their order right??

51. I love this place! I’ve been to the other dispensary in Reno as well as many rec shops in Washington and this is the best! The atmosphere is dope! Very clean, bright, well decorated, and they have nice displays. Their customer service is always top notch. No matter who you get they will take the time to talk to you and answer any questions. You never feel rushed and they are always super friendly. I wish I could just hang out here. Their points reward system is cool too. Even though the other dispensary in town is right by my house, I make the drive to Sierra wellness because they are the best. This store represents Reno and the medical cannabis culture here well. I’ll be a loyal customer forever!

53. Sierra Wellness is a great dispensary. The check in was simple for first timers, no wait, and every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and went the extra mile. The care provided to patients is excellent. The information cards for each strain are an incredible resource. Haven’t seen that depth of info at other shops in town. Joey was patient and really helped me understand more about the things that help my specific issues… and when suggesting strains… he was spot on! 67. I hadn’t been to SWC in a while, and am happy to say there is an abundance of AMAZING products and so many things to choose from it is almost dizzying. Thank goodness for my sherpa, and world’s best Dispensary Manager, Andrew, who always steers me right. He knows every product like the back of his hand! There were some new, but very awesome smiling faces, and you cannot help getting excited to see Cody AKA Hug Hug-a-Bear!!!! They intro’d me to some BAM strawberry sequoia rosin mmmmm yeah. Also the Cannavative honeycomb in pineapple chunk, MTF, and I LOVED the jillybean – that texture is beautiful. Good stuff folks, good stuff. They also have Thai sticks – see my Reef review to hear how awesome those are. worth. every. penny.
    As for the weed, well – You know I LOVE IT and also the grower <3 The house stuff is the best. Make sure to ask if they still have $15 house wax!! IT'S GOOD!

68. Was well taken care of as a ftp at Sierra Wellness Connection. Paperwork was quick and painless, no issues at all with my out of state recommendation. The staff was friendly and professional from the person at the desk who notified me that me rec was up in February and referred me to some local doctors, to the budtender who knew just what I needed for my schizoaffective disorder.
    Picked up a gram of the Ultra Chiesel concentrate for $40 a gram. At 86% THC this concentrate was exactly what I needed to clear my mental state. A very powerful but clear headed head effect from this strain. My only complaint was the packaging. Some of the shatter had sugared up a bit and turned to crumble and some thin slabs had stuck to the bottom of the plastic container. They should really consider switching to silicone.
    I also picked up a gram of afgoo upon suggestion from my budtender for insomnia and night time pain. Perfect. Heavy indica effects put me right to bed. Sweet sticky buds that were covered in trichomes and had a pungent aroma. Only down side being that it was pre packed and as all patients know, med containers do not seal air tight. The buds were a bit dry. Might consider heat sealed plastic envelopes if you are going to pre package.
    Other than that the medicine was potent and worth the money. Another side note, tax is not included in the prices. I paid $60.30 for my $40 gram of shatter and $16 gram of bud. Lucky they had a change jar as I only brought 60 bucks.
    All in all a top notch experience from a quality dispensary. Will definitely be back.
    On a minor note I was surprised they didn’t offer anything for ftp. Oh well. I see nothing wrong in a dispensary that doesn’t give out freebies.

75. On a weekend vacation to Lake Tahoe from Texas we flew into Reno and stopped at what was the closest to the airport. On other vacations we have stopped at MANY dispensaries and the place is by far the best yet. Cole took the time to explain even though we knew (always good to hear some else perspective). Not pushy at all,friendly and talkative. Clean and well displayed. Before flying back to Texas we stopped on last time before our flight to grab a pre-roll.

77. Friendly service and quality are the key words I use to describe all my experiences at Sierra Wellness Connection in Reno. The service I’ve received has always been swift and courteous, with the budtenders always hitting the mark in their recommendations. Though the store’s atmosphere doesn’t come off as clinical as the other dispensary in the area, the product is always on point – SWC definitely has better concentrates, but the flower always seems a little on the dry side (though to be fair, that seems to be the case with just about everywhere in Nevada). As an out-of-state patient, I have to wait a month to switch between dispensaries, which is unfortunate, as the two dispensaries in town offer different strains, services, and specials that are all equally good, but for now, Sierra Wellness Connection is where I stop for my needs!

Sierra Wellness has the best atmosphere and personal in my opinion. This is the only place I come now. I know it’s a bit more pricey, but you get what you pay for. Trust me!

108. I would love to see different stools or chairs for the clients to use while viewing or purchasing medicine. Those metal stools are horrbile. Otherwise the employee’s are always very friendly, knowledgeable and quick.

109. Wow! We went for the opening day of recreational marijuana. The employees treated hundreds of us with, kindness, understanding and respect. We were served water, sandwiches, cookies and pizza! 129. I would give more service stars to Max if I could and for the atmosphere. From the security guard to Max I was made welcome and treated in such a wonderful way. Max answered every question, of which there were MANY, without making me feel like I was a burden or an idiot. I am leaving his name and your shop info with my mom should she ever want to stop by after I travel back home. I will be back again!!
