So far I’ve visited 2x..The first time the receptionist did a great job; got right in. The second time there were two receptionists. There was some type of confusion. They let 6 people go in ahead of me that had come in after me..They apologized and fixed it…. I had the same Budtender both times; a younger guy , brown hair, skinny.. He was great.Gave me the tour, info & answered all my questions… They had & nice selection of indica/indica dominant (my preference)..So I that an 1/8th of True OG & Chemdog..$41 total with the 1st time deal..Loved both; especially the True OG…..Went back 2 days later; Presidents Day..They had a special from a new grower; The Facility..Choice of 6 strains..I got an 1/8th of Gorilla Glue #4 & Fruitcake..Again only $41 total…I’ll definitely be returning..Great Deals…You even get a free pre-roll for writing a review.

I took my mom here on Mother’s Day. Allen helped us both. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked that he would actively look up info on the specific effect of the terpenes on the conditions I needed to treat. So many budtenders will tell you anything to get you in and out and go on the he next customer. He made us feel like we were his priority. They had a great selection and were well staffed. We will definitely be back. We love you Allen!

I have to admit one of my most favorite and delightful parts of being in a dispensary, is the customer service experience. And by far most of these dispensaries I have visited are really nice. This location is tucked away and needs a bit more signage! Don’t remember my budtender as he did not introduce himself. Location was very busy. Overall I’m not disappointed, but not too pleased! I knew what I wanted before going in thanks to Leafly, but there was no mention of specials or recommendations!?

I’ve been going to Essence for a few months now and I’ve had nothing but GREAT service! Out of all the bud tenders Madi is my favorite. She makes me feel like part of the Essence family. Every time I leave I leave satisfied with the service and the bud.

I have to say that this dispensary has very knowledgeable, polite and professional staff. I was going through some difficult times with pain from past injuries and horrible ptsd. This is the best dispensary in town and only one I go to
Quick registration, nice location across from Trader Joe’s. Certainly looks to be one of the widest selections in the valley, complete with high CBD strains that can be difficult to track down even in the well-established medical markets of other states. Crystal was really helpful, definitely glad I took her recommendation with the HeadCheese: astronomical THC aside, this is hands down the best smelling jar I’ve ever put my nose in. Christie (?) was quick with the transaction portion, and all staff was very pleasant to deal with throughout my visit. HEFTY first-timer discount was much appreciated! I’ll certainly be back for more.

it was a bit busy when I got there about 3 on a Sunday. I got the banana cream flower and the lemon meringue wax. Very helpful people and overall would recommend it highly.

When I walked in the lines were slightly intimidating and I soon learned why. The staff here is wonderful. Donna was the person who helped me and she did an amazing job, showing me different types of the shatter I was asking about. She took the extra time to explain the difference to me. Made me feel like it wasn’t about rushing people in and out and the bottom line, this made me realize just why the lines were so long. I will be back!

Went there this evening, had been there many times prior – but tonight was extremely busy being 420. Well The staff was so incredibly accommodating, offering water and candy, and the line moved very fast. Ricardo was courteous, polite, and extremely helpful with providing information about the product.

I think this location of essence has the best everything! I’ve been to other dispensaries that aren’t Essence and this place has the most sincerely nice people! And if you’ve ever given your money to an ungrateful employee, you know the taste in your mouth you get when you leave that place. But I recommend coming here!

Essence Dispensary is Marvelous! The staff is always so sweet, helpful and informative; not bad looking either. I love their point system where: the more you buy, the more points you get, which gives you more money to buy more. Not only do they have an array of cannabis products, but also cannabis equipage. I feel safe as there is security inside and out , the lighting inside is bright so you know what you are getting, it’s a large place and kept very clean. This is homebase for me.

This was my first experience at this dispensary and this location. I traveled here all the way from North Las Vegas, as I was looking for a particular strain, and Leafly listed this location as the only one in Las Vegas who carried it. Ahrron (sp?) at the front door checked me in and registered me and my husband as first time visitors. He was friendly and efficient. Our Budtender Kris was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He had the strain that I was looking for, and even recommended another strain that had some of the benefits and qualities that we were interested in. We left with 2 different strains to try and because Kris was so straightforward with his information and recommendation, we walked away extremely happy customers. So glad we stopped in and we’ll be back again!

Several issues right off the bat. If you have sensory issues at all, avoid this location. The store is always blaring loud music and the lights are extremely bright. If you’re having sensory episodes of any kind do not go into this store. Secondly, if there is an issue through the online ordering Essence will simply put the blame on GreenRush and not try to help you solve your issue whatsoever. The manager will laugh at you on the phone and make fun of you if you bring any issues up to them. My experience isn’t the typical experience. Most days Essence isn’t that bad. But, when a medical patient has to leave bed, when they’re having seizures, to go physically look at their meds to make sure everything is right. That is an issue. Whether Essence wants to recognize it or not. These people aren’t disabled so they don’t get it. So they’ll continue mocking people like us thinking our problems are insignificant. Most people may be okay with that. But, I spend too much damn money on meds that I need to be treated like such crap. There’s too many dispensaries in Las Vegas, and in a city that’s known for hospitality, I don’t think any business can afford to treat their clients so miserably. #VEGASSTRONG #Epilepsy

Andrew, jesse, kelly, travis, gavin, jon lets face it everyone there make you feel absolutly at home… The place is booming almost all the time but each agent attends to every guests needs with compassion and understanding. The products are always fresh and very flavorful with specials all the time . they now also have a very attractive glass case on display with super competitive pricing. If its your first time purchasing or just have not visited this location I would ” highly” suggest trying this place out.

I’m visiting from Ottawa and the quality of flower in comparison to my hometown is noticeably better. This is one of the best dispensaries in town…I always leave happy! Cheyenne is the best she’s so friendly always greeting me with a smile and is very knowledgeable about the menu. She even let’s me know when the newest strains that have my favorite terpenes come in.

Those extra bucks come in handy all the time. Hands down a loyal Essence customer! Although I’ve been to all of their valley locations, Henderson continues to be my fave <3 stay awesome guys! I like that they have a lot of variety, the budtenders are friendly and most of the time knowledgeable about the product. As for the employees taking the online pre orders and the ones that answer the phone arent that great. Hold times can be ridiculous. The line in the dispensary is typically long but it goes pretty fast. The weed itself is great. I go to essence when I want a variety of strains.

Essence Henderson is my nearest dispensary, and lucky for me! I have the best dispensary in the Vegas area right up the road. I have been on a mission to go to every dispensary in town, and although I haven’t got there yet, I do have to say that Essence West is my favorite. They always have a great selection and the flower is always fresh and potent. The service there is Grade A+. Always friendly and knowledgeable and not afraid to look things up If they don’t know the answer to you question off the top of their heads. This is what dispensary customer service should be.

Went this morning , and met Leigh , very delightful Bud Tender . She recommended a preroll I have never had ,it was one of aEURoe Willy’s Reserve called aEURoe Lady Silva aEURoe . What a great product ! I knew it was gonna be good because , hey it is Willy Nelson and he has been a advocate for marijuana for over 60 years . this is hands down my favorite dispensary in vegas . this location in henderson has the best staff you could ask for . they -listen- to your every need in medicine and how you’re hurting and they even open themselves up and relate to you . they are more than just budtenders , they are like my second family . Kelly is incredibly experienced and sweet . this past christmas eve Alissa accommodated me and my migraine from hell , she got me water and even lent me her aviators so i could actually see my meds . everyone there is just so personable and friendly and approachable . this is my favorite place to be other than home , and sheerly for the genuine people and fantastic medicine they supply , bud and love .

Just went through Essence in Henderson and it was great. They had a wide variety of flower to choose from, every sample I looked at looked and smelled great, the oldest item I was given of the 19 different flowers I picked up was two months, followed by only three weeks (so most things are very fresh). The bud tender who was helping me was very friendly and informed which is always nice and their prices were very reasonable (I averaged 11/g during my visit). I will definitely be returning to this dispensary.
Amazing visit last week. Bud tender was very knowledgeable, I explained what I was looking for and he knocked it out the park, ended up with 9lb hammer, and lavender for it’s thc% and some ringos gift #1 for its cbd%. I mixed the 9lb and ringos when grinding then did the same with the lavender and ringos… Wow it was an amazing night time blend I was looking for, the 9lb hammer lived up to its name and the ringos mixed with it pushed it right over the top. The lavender mix was not far behind both had me sleeping pain free all night long. Thanks to the bud tender, I will defiantly be back often. Hate that I couldn’t remember his name lol

Lindsay from the Henderson location is amazing. I visited the location today and there was a customer yelling because he felt he was being cheated for some strange reason. The real problem is that he went in looking for a discount he’s not entitled to. Anyway not one person was rude to him and when he demanded a manager Lindsay came over and handled the guy with grace and courtesy. This isn’t the first time I’ve happened to witness her having to deal with an irate customer and she never changes her demeanor and always is able to diffuse the situation. Essence is lucky to have her as part of your management team. I also wanted to recognize Justin. He’s helped me a couple times and is always friendly and efficient. The entire staff here is wonderful and the reason I continue to come back!

The location itself has a lot of parking. Check in is always fast. I’ve never had to wait in the lobby to go back to the showroom, which is a pretty good size and very nice. They have an online pick up, medical, and recreational line that gets you in and out fast. Also 10% off for locals and if your medical it brings it out to the exact price of the product. I dislike their pre rolls because they’re ground too much never burns or your inhaling little bits. Their flower is good , although their top shelf could use a bit more indica choices, it’s Vegas so a lot of sativas, but medical patients do use indicas for pain. The premium shelf however which is only $3 more there is a lot to choose from. Budtenders are very nice and knowledgable. Quick and kind.
This was our first time visiting a dispensary and everyone was super friendly. Malu assisted us and she was beyond AMAZING she was very patient and answered all of our questions and really took the time to explain things to us which we loved! If you’ve never been to a dispensary I would definitely come check them out they’re super friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone just seems to have a great time with eachother. Best Flower Selection
By now you should already know that Essence is the best in town but out of the 3 locations they have I would have to say that the Henderson location always has the BEST selection for flower compared to their other locations. It might be a little more of a drive for some of us but it is definitely worth it.

This is pretty much the only place I go to now..great products, really great staff, and the discount options are amazingly generous! Planning a trip to the Trop location, to get all three under my belt, and the strip location was equally pleasant! This really is a great organization, and if you’re lucky enough to live really close to one, you should make this your go to spot! If you not fortunate enough for that, then anytime you pass near this location, or any of them honestly, you owe it to yourself to stop in…
I’m an Arizona medical patient, and this was the first, and only dispensary I’ve been to in Nevada. I needed to make a quick stop to pick up something for my nausea. If all dispensaries are this awesome in Nevada, I may have to consider moving lol. Everything is so nice, bright, clean, and welcoming. The staff was amazing. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who helped me to give a shout out to her. I also love how the packaging is labeled with testing results. And the Bruce Banner crumble was an excellent suggestion. I’ll be in again my next trip north

First time here ( I live out of state ). Check-in for out-of-state patients was fairly straight forward. All of their staff is very friendly and professional. The back room is reminiscent of MIB’s big white room lol. Its not bad just big and bright, nice and open space.
I enjoy the way the bud tender really sticks with you and is there to answer any questions for you on the spot, displaying their knowledge of their medicine.
The meds, oh boy, lets just say my bud tender told me I could make frequent trips out there and I jokingly brushed it off, however, no joke. The meds are on point. I was beyond ecstatic to get my hands on some quality dry sift! I didn’t believe the quality they advertised for all of their meds but, their meds really are that good. Must try is the SinMint (go figure, COOKIES!). I have already made plans with the wife to make the trip from AZ more often 🙂

Great meds. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. Only con I have, because I’m a cheapskate, is getting on par with Vegas on the discounts. Other than that, this place is will not disappoint.

I was a bit disappointed, the location, atmosphere and packaging are all gorgeous but thats kinda where it ends.
The person helping me was very friendly but didn’t seem all that knowledgable.
Their Leafly menu wasnt up to date. They were out of Head Cheese, which was what I was interested in purchasing. They also had very little flower in weight, mostly everything was in grams. They had very little in 1/4, 1/8 sizes which again, was what I was interested in purchasing.
They did have a wider selection of edible “types” then I have seen plus open “refill” syringes that are $10 cheaper then the tips themselves, which I thought were both pretty cool.
They do run some good weekly promotions and also gave me a first time buyer discount which I think is a great way to do business.
Nice place but they need to keep some larger weights of flower in stock.

Essence is the future of medical dispensaries: very professional, friendly, and helpful staff; reasonable prices for high-quality medication; and a very clinical atmosphere. All medication is lab-tested, and the staff are knowledgeable about most, if not all of the products available. I have been twice before and each time the wonderful people there, such as Heather and Crystal, have made me feel like a special guest and patient, as opposed to the atmosphere and service at some other clinics. Since the medication is lab-tested you always know what you’re getting, and prices are fair with specials sometimes giving you fantastic prices, although in general everything is a bit more costly than in California.

This was my first time purchasing marijuana for recreational purposes, it’s all still very new to me. The service was exceptional, the individual who helped me was super nice and helpful with all of my questions, and the atmosphere and store was incredibly clean and professional. I place my order online prior to coming in, toom about 15 or so minutes until I got the notification my order was ready for pickup, and once I got there I was in and out within 10 or so minutes. like I said, this was my first experience with a dispencary, and I chose essence on the recommendation of a few people, and I’m glad I did because to me customer service is everything, and I cant even consider going to any other dispensary after the amazing and professional way essence treated me, not only do they have a customer in my for life, but I’ll be recommending them to all of my friends.

It was my first visit to this location but won’t be my last as it’s the closest shop to my home. It took under 5 minutes to get my card registered and Crystal came out brought me to the back. I explained my pain/sleep issue and she quickly directed me to a few options. Since I wasn’t sure how they would react, I bought a few of them to try. I mostly use edibles since I am not a smoker. I tried their peanut butter cups and tried them the first night. It did a great job with the pain and sleep. Crystal listened to my needs and helped my find excellent options. I’ll keep trying the other items I purchased to see how they compare to the PB cups but it’s helpful when the shop can find what you need. Ask for Crystal…she’s very friendly and knowledgable.
I just had to come here and post how great this place is. I came in today needing to get some weed because I was having a bad day and my anxiety was on 1000. As I was standing in line the manager was asking me how my day was. I was so upset I couldn’t even really talk to him. I was able to get a few words out and told him I wasn’t doing so good and just needed something to calm me down. When I got to the counter, the young lady there was so nice. I wish I can remember her name. She can clearly see I was so upset so she was helping me pick some strains that can help me relax. After I told her what I wanted she went and got my order and came back with a free preroll. She told me the manager said to give it to me. I really appreciate him for doing that for me. Totally disappointed….purchased 1g shatter, 3 eighths of different strains, and 2 disposable 500mg pens. The flower was all VERY DRY and weight did not come close to matching labeled weight. One was .48g light, another was .37 light and the third was .35 light, the third had a slight hay odor to it. The least expensive shatter weighed with in .02 of labeled weight, no complaints there. a little harsh, taste was OK, good buzz. The pens seem pretty good so far.
Other than the weight of flower product, the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to have my interest in mind. The dispensary was clean. organized and inviting.
Unfortunately, since the product was dry and I did not receive the weight I was sold, I will not be returning to, nor reccomending this dispensary to anyone.

Cool spot. super clean… just don’t like the one on one doctor visit type setup… takes too much time. Oregon/ Washington have it better setup. but not bad at all. quality is decent along with price for Henderson…. so check it out. always cool to see new shops

I’ve been a MMJ patient since 1997 and have visited many dispensaries over the years. I have been coming to Essence Henderson since its opening a year ago.

This is part of their directive and it was proven to me during a recent visit. I had purchased an edible product that was mislabeled by the manufacturer and did not live up to Essence standard of quality. Over the past year I’ve gone a couple of times to other dispensaries in the Vegas area, but i have made Essence Henderson the only place for my MMJ needs. I’ve never been so calm and felt at home visiting a dispensary. The selection of strains as well as different types of products not to mention the prices are not the only reason i choose essence… It’s the staff… Kelly was so kind and professional as well as the WHOLE staff.

I am a USMC veteran with PTSD. I purchased an 1/8 of Rebel OG from Essence here in Vegas. No smell, no taste, no effect and very dry. Extremely dissatisfied would be saying it lightly. I feel betrayed like I was ripped off on purpose. And now, I have to go without effective medication
Essence is great. I love it here. And I really like the loyalty program where you build up credit. Got a free eight out of it last month.

Holy crap!!! More Cannabiotix flowers PLEASE!!! I just picked up L’Orange and White Walker OG from them and they are both 100% HANDS DOWN the most delicious and effective strains I’ve ever tried. L’Orange tastes literally like orange sherbert and that taste stays in your mouth for a good 10 minutes. As always, Essence only sells the absolute best products. That plus the awesome staff (especially Brandy) are the reason I only go to one dispensary.

She was very knowledgeable as to the different products offered and very professional. Recovering from thoracic/lumbar fusion using only mmj since hospital discharge two days ago. AMAZING! Pain.management is very tolerable (a brownie for breakfast; hard candies and gummies when needed during the day; another brownie at dinner time). As an older patient, mid-60s, I was and AM delighted to replace narcotic pain pills, sleeping pills, etc, with medical marijuana edibles. Thank you, Henderson staff at Essence, for helping my husband, my caregiver and me get through this scary surgery with your recommendations, suggestions for edibles this past month. I’ll never forget your help and compassion.
I visited this place for the first time today and this place is AMAZING. My budtender Sam was wonderful. She helped me find what I needed and answered all my questions. I am definitely going back and I recommend this place to everyone. I love the atmosphere of this place. Highly recommended.
What the HELL happened??! Customer service has gone down tremendously, they cater to their recreational clientele to the point that medical patients are treated second rate!! The budtenders dont have correct information on strains, and when they dont have a strain comparable to your medicine, they try to argue with you about your medicine!!! Not to mention sky rocketed prices!!! I HATE what this place has become!!!

This is my new favorite spot in the Las Vegas area. The entire staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They always have great deals and specials and a great selection of strains on top of that. Brandy at the front desk was super chill and friendly and that’s what sealed the deal, this is my new spot. Also tax is included in the price which makes shopping a lot easier.

First off I’m a very frequent shopper at the other locations. I’ve stopped in the Henderson location a few times and never again. I’m tired of the hassle to buy here as a medical patient. I understand there was a computer update, the other locations went through it too. Funny enough they don’t have all of your information and discounts at the Henderson location. Both times I’ve came in to get my medication I’ve had to wait an exceptionally long time so management could verify all of my information I gave them last time. Never did receive my correct discount. I also noticed that the prices are way higher than the Strip and Tropicana locations. Even the budtenders attitudes were cold. I’ll stick to the other two locations. Better customer service and prices.

Weigh whatever you buy from Essence! (Specifically DGF products) I have now purchased two DGF 1/8’s that were between .2-.4 grams short of 3.5. When I brought this to the attention of management I was told to drive all the way back with the shorted 1/8, and exchange it for a new one. They deflected all the blame for the missing flower on DGF, who I have reached out to, but unfortunately they are not very responsive or helpful. Sadly, I will be bringing my business elsewhere form here on out, as I feel Essence did very little to correct this problem.

Everytime I go there, my budtender is friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is also really good, especially since you aren’t competing with tourists on the Strip.

Essence is a fabulous dispensary and I really like the products available, the deals on offer and the staff. I never have to queue for long and when i do (when you were implementing that hellish new system) they were kind enough to give out free prerolls. Now THAT is customer care. When it’s hot, they dish out the water bottles. It really goes a long way. Youre more than a dispensary – you’re a family home open for sales and that counts in Hendo. As far as the dispensary itself, I love it. I pass up many other dispensaries to get here, it’s worth the drive. Everyone is always friendly and help me feel at ease while I’m there. Quality products. I would also like to give a shout out to the Security Guards and Andrew-my favorite budtender, you guys rock! The only slight complaint I have is the system keeps messing with my discounts, so I have to go back in, but they do correct it without any issues. Thanks for making this a place that I actually want to go to.
