I have been to about 6 different dispensaries, this is the busiest one I have been to. Nobody is saying that’s a bad thing. This place treats you like king and queen even if the bouncer doesn’t let you into the club. Even when it seems too busy for you to even pay attention to when they call you next in line, they make you feel as though you have some sort of beautiful business contract with them and they give you all the attention and knowledge required to carry on stoned in Vegas. I love Essence.
If you live in vegas and not going to this place your crazy and if you aren’t from vegas take my advice and go to the pros at essence any location will have you well informed and confident when you leave the building
Great shop! Good variety, knowledgeable staff, and you can tell they really care about their patients. There was a little misunderstanding regarding an order (LV Strip location), but the manager came right out and handled the situation very professionally. They make you feel APPRECIATED! I was so impressed that I told him I would write a review regarding my experience, but it was my gratitude for an exceptional experience that actually caused me to follow through.
Absolutely astonishing! Five stars are well warranted from these fine people. Barry was an excellent consultant and greeted me with compassion and an overall positive essence. Looks like the name rings true! The facility is flawlessly clean and impeccably decorated. I truly appreciate the time and effort spent on providing this experience as well as contributing to the push for legalization. I will be back!

I would never even consider going to any other dispensary in town! Essence is the ONLY place to go in Las Vegas, especially for locals. This is the only dispensary in town that offers a locals discount, as well as a handful of other discounts to eligible customers. My boyfriend and I visit almost every single night and We have gotten to know most of the amazing staff here and tried a lot of the awesome strains that they carry.

Myself and my wife are extremely disappointed. We heard about Essence through a friend who said it was close to our hotel. The service per them was mediocre but again convenient. We were in Vegas for a few days last week. My wife had called just to ask some basic questions regarding their policies and procedures. Having never been able to purchase recreationally before we wanted to make sure we were prepared when we got there. We had the extreme displease of speaking with a Jenny on the phone. No matter what question we asked, she huffed at us and took a tone with us as if we were stupid. Because of the way my wife was talked to, she didn’t even want to go to this store. However, I convinced her to go the following night. Big mistake. AGAIN we had the same displeasure of dealing with Jenny at check in. She was cold, not friendly, and seemingly annoyed with us for just being there.We asked her what information they kept in the system and why and her response was “Um because it’s required if you want to go in back.” As if we were suppose to know. Just to let you know if you werent aware, they take ALL of your info from your ID and still want your phone and email. JUST TO GO IN!For a one time visit on vacation it seems a bit much. She (Jenny) also seemed exceptionally annoyed that she had to stop a conversation with one of her coworkers to assist us! If Essence wants repeat customers maybe they should have people in the front who actually can give customer service. And don’t believe their many positive reviews to get their rating, if you actually read through them its the same people writing reviews over and over and over again. We will definitely not be returning. Kenny in the back was great, but not enough to make up for the lack of customer service given to us twice by Jenny. She was more than enough for us not to return and absolutely will not be refering our friends!

Essence on the strip has been the dispensary I’ve gone to the most. Out of all of the ones I visited (7 total), their service has been the best. The staff is always knowledgeable on the new strains and current events in the cannibus community. Mylene, Frenchie, is a rock star in service. She has helped me find the strains to help my crohn’s and I’ve never been so at ease. two thumbs up for Essence on the strip!

Kind of hard to find parking when there’s traffic, signs are all over the place and GPS is sort of confusing too, I found plenty of parking in the rear of building, very poor lighting in parking lot though!!

My first time going was cool … they have a real professional laid back vibe that I really like in the lobby they played music I like to listen to on a daily so I didn’t even have a reason to put my head phones in while filled out paperwork but as soon as I passed my paper work in ” Jesse w” I didn’t get his full last name but he figured out exactly what I needed and got me out within 10 which was pretty cool I thought I was going to be there a lot longer than I was….and that’s always a plus in my book …dY’OEdY?dY’OEdY?dY’OEdY?dY’OEdY?dY’dY’dY’dY’

I’m a local that shops around, so I wouldn’t expect to find myself making the drive down to the strip, yet I keep doing it.
Their selection stems from what I consider the best growers in Nevada. Fantastic quality, with an enviable selection that only suffers from selling out. I stopped going to other locations simply because their stock doesn’t compare.
Nicest staff too. Each person I’ve met has been great.
Negatives. Location isn’t the best. Cramped inside. Grams are a little steep. Often busy.
I live in Denver and these guys will not only hook you up but will make you happy.

This is a GREAT spot. It is in a not so great neighborhood/part of the strip, but once your inside it’s AMAZING. There are security guards that walk outside and I’m certain they’d walk you to your car if need be.. The inside is well lit & the products are layed out in a way that makes perfect sense, everything easy to find! The products are great and there is a wide array to choose from regardless of what your in the market for.. The bud tenders walk you through the entire process & they are incredibly nice, no hard sale at all! This is a GREAT place and whenever I’m in town it’s a lock I’ll be dropping by.. My only issue is you can’t tip the budtenders, I like to reward good service and at Essence it’s some of the very best I’ve seen.

This place is amazing. They are professional, nice, and very informative. They take your privacy seriously as well as your time by giving you a one on one weedtender to help meet your needs.
you walk into a security check point in the lobby where a guard welcomes you and checks your ID. Weed is legal in Vegas but you gotta be 21, makes sense.
then you check in with the receptionist who tells you welcomes you, it was my first time and so she made me feel pretty comfortable. if there was any worries about being there, she did a great job of pushing those out of the way. Jenny, I think he was her name, explained how it works and any deals they have.
then you walk into the medical and recreation counter room and it is so awesome and just a tad overwhelming. there are TV’s with up to date menus of options like pre-rolls, flowers, oils, edibles, and more. there’s about 7-9 staff members helping the customers find what’s right for them.
Raphael was the man. he was kind, fun, and really helpful. he said “welcome to Disneyland for adults” and he wasn’t wrong. what a treat indeed.
if you’re looking for a good variety, informative assistance, and good prices, this should be at the top of your list.

Was a regular here until they sold me weed that felt like dry grass without any stickiness to the touch at all. smoked it. zero effect. called manager, & their excuse was they can’t account for my tolerance level and was extremely rude to me. whatever there literally are so many other choices. i wont be going back here.

First off, It was perfectly located for my bf and I to walk over from the stratosphere hotel which is awesome. I love that it’s open late, and the girl that helped us ( don’t remember her name however she has a tattoo that says trust one way and faith the other on her left forearm)

ZIMMER was especially helpful at this recent visit! When first walking into this shop I really did like the discretion of the location. But the inside seemed very remodeled and clean. I really like how there was two Windows to check-in at most shops there is only one person to assist all patients. so I found that really convenient. My bud tender Edward was very nice and helpful. He was able to explain the feelings of the Bud as well as the THC levels. His energy and vibe really was positive and made the experience 10X better. Stopped in to pick up some edibles during a long weekend in Vegas. As an out of state card holder the registration was easy enough with a few forms to fill out. Edward was my “bud tender” and was very cool and helpful. He guided me towards the Oatmeal Cranberry cookies and they did not disappoint.

This was my 3rd visit and the second time that Dylan was my bud tender and I gotta say he is definitely an asset to the location he was super knowledgeable and friendly and even though it was only his second full week you would never know it without him telling you. He obviously loves his job and takes the time to know his product and the deals they offer he has made this the most pleasant experience possible.

Out of all the essences so far i think this one is more intimate and central to me. Ive had good service at the west essence but for whatever reason im starting to feel like home here. An amazing person named Jennifer has caught my eye as someone who actually understands what pure strains or landrace strains are or just a general openess in hopes to understand your needs, she defiantly doesnt read from a script. There seems too be two figure heads that run this company and a guy named Dave at this location and all three have provided products ive asked for or given me suggestions on productions that were dead on(im chemical sensitive and only get relif from organic products like GLP) Thank you guys!

First time experience was with RYAN Cool asf explained everything I needed to know as far as strain and what’s best for my buck. I purchased a 3.5 of Curious George which was dope!! Second day came back and got a disposable hybrid vape pen ($35 def worth it) Second experience with KAREN very nice lady coincidence she used to live not too far away from me in Queens I ended up gettin two pre rolls ($18) and a special. Down to earth workers. Convenience at its best open til 3am PLUS THEY HAVE PAPERS FOR SALE

Also, I hope for you, Kala will be available to assist you during your visit(i’m confident anyone behind the counter will deliver great service) I was fortunate enough to receive the extraordinary attention, guidance and assistance from Kala!!
I will admit this was my first visit to a dispensary(also my first trip to Las Vegas and if I could pack up and relocate there I’d be filling boxes instead of reviewing my great experiences). I was a bit embarrassed to admit that despite being a long time cannabis user I had yet to make that first legal purchase(my home state is still dragging their feet opening dispensaries) but i am so glad i shared that info with Kala. She took the time to explain everything i never even thought i could want to know, answered every question and gave her personal recommendations and I couldn’t have been happier(well ok, maybe if instead of only having time enough left of my trip to enjoy a pre roll and some delicious edibles-cookies and cream cereal bar and strawberry banana gummies). The pre roll cone smelled and tasted just as she said it would, and it burned perfectly. So perfectly I know i’m going to crave cones moving forward!!
So, ok, maybe I don’t have other dispensary experiences to compare this visit to but i have devoted my professional life to being somewhat of a customer service ambassador, so I know great service when I receive it… and I also know their prices are absolutely on point fair and reasonable(my excitement for recreational coming to my home has led me to do some in depth research)!
Since i’m already hard at work trying to plan my next trip to Las Vegas, one thing i’m certain of… whether i’m staying on the strip (5 stars to the Bellagio too) or not I have no need to try out a different dispensary, as far as i’m concerned Essence(across the street from the world’s largest gift shop) is the ONLY choice for recreational cannabis in Las Vegas(plus they’re open to 3am which was perfect! ).

Unaffordable! The 55-60$ eights are registering in at 20% THC and up. However if you cant afford these prices Strains costing 45$ and under never go above 14% THC and the terps are horrible. Stay away if you are not rich or a tourist!

Im new in Vegas, looking for a home dispensary. You seemed to have some of the best reviews online. Im currently staying in thr green valley area and saw that you had a dispensary opening today thats closer to my home.. I had some difficulty locating that adress on google so i called the number listed on google that put thru to the strip shop and the receptionist was not helpful at all. She put me on hold when I asked for the henderson dispensary address. She return to tell me to call back the same number i had just dialed and to select the correct location…im not sure you can call that customer service. Thanks for the help…not having knowledge of your own locations is definitely not good.

Very please with the customer service provided by all. I traveled In From Oregon and was greater with a friendly smile and hello. Once back in the dispensary, the gentleman helping me, helped me get the right stuff and offered his favorite. Which I took. Definitely a great place to stop by.
The place was loud and chaotic. I was expecting a modern Apple store experience. The pictures make it look sleek however once there. Not the case. Behind the counter there are boxes upon boxes of inventory. If your a medical patient awesome. You will get much higher potentcy items. Just be aware that they only print medical labels for what you purchase.

Omg ok so first off my wife and I are from Toronto Ontario and as soon as we got to our hotel got drinks and walked to this dispensary and wow!! What a walk! Opening the door we got a friendly greeting and had us registered so quick and easy! Now I’m sorry I forgot who registered us but the budtender was Tiffany and she was so helpful and knowledgeable of the strains and what I was looking for! I grabbed strawberry cough and grand daddy purple.. Both really really good! Some FIRE! Now a little too pricey cause we get the same quality back home for half the price per gram! But still great bud great service! When I come back to Vegas I’ll be hitting them back up!!

Tiffany, Candy and Tommie were extremely friendly and welcoming for my first visit. Best med shop I have been to in Vegas. One of the best I have been to in the country. Nice selection, cheaper than Colorado or Arizona dispensaries and they accept out of state MM cards. I was g2g with a California medical card and Minnesota DL. If you are coming with an out of state ID and med card, make sure to call ahead to all the shops. Half of them let me in to shop and half of them turned me away.
Essence also had great selection; dry flower, pre-rolls, shatter, wax, edibles and pens. I picked up some Gorilla Glue Wax and some Oatmeal Raisin cookies. Will be returning when I am back in town!

I know i asked a question about almost every product sold and was not only given answers, i received educated, knowledgeable information without hesitation from my bud tender Ryan. He was extremely patient as I unveiled all i didn’t know or understand. Extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Staff really didn’t know much about products-especially concentrates. Prices are definitely tourist prices. Half gram of sauce was closer to .2, I asked for something with lots of flavor and got green blueberry shatter that tasted like ISO. They were out of most everything I asked for, and what I did get was light on weight or pretty low quality.
This will be my 3rd time at essence at the strip , the budtenders there are very friendly very helpful ,they help you out choosing the right strain for you if you ask. I highly recommend this place,James helped me out last time great customer service .

The flower was not that great but to be fair I am from Colorado and used to more potent marijuana. Edibles were yummy I got the Dixie Milk Chocolate and Birthday Cake. Joy was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Space inside the dispensary made me feel a little claustrophobic.

Went to essence back in January and forgot to write a review. It was our first time in a dispensary and we didn’t know what to expect but we met the nicest budtender ever. Her name was Bianca. She was so knowledgeable and patient while we looked at all the different strains. We told her what we were looking for and she found the perfect match. We went to a few other dispensaries in the week we were in Vegas and nothing compared to essence, or more specific nothing compared to Bianca, so we went back a second time right before we left. We will definitely visit this location again. Give Bianca a raise.

I’ve been going to this dispensary seen it opened. They have pretty good product, however, their customer service is really on decline. Especially in the morning. If your not talking to one of the budtenders about their fashion business, or whatever they will not even pay enough attention to you to remember your order. No matter how simple it is. It’s a dispensary, lighten up! If you don’t want to be their, don’t come to work.

Absolutely beautiful! I am an edible chef on the East Coast and I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. Tiffany was very helpful! The set up was very elegant and I I enjoyed the huge variety of medicinal options.
The associate helping me made me feel rushed and kind of dumb when I asked some questions. I could tell that the other sales associates were not treating their customers that way. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but it caused an unpleasant first experience.

Always a choice spot! Expedited line for medical. Always a huge variety of Indica, Sativa, and hybrids. New strains all the time. You don’t write this many reviews on one place unless they’re really worth writing about. If my other reviews don’t convince, come find out for yourself. Just picked up an oz of Blueberry on the recommendation of Sean. He tells me he’s new but the guy makes a great caregiver. Looking forward to my next stop in already.

This establishment was my favorite until today. They bribed me into leaving a review, but told me the wrong day for the promotion, so I was not rewarded the $1 pre-roll they promised. Then when I spoke to management they said there was nothing they could do, which was offensive because I have been their loyal customer since I moved to Vegas 6 months ago. I buy 1-2 pre-rolls there daily, so it is ridiculous that they could not do anything to satisfy my complaint. Also they used to have pre-rolls for $10 & they raised it to $11, which compared to Seattle prices is way too much for the same amount. The line is always way too long & I am no longer satisfied with this location.
The facility was super clean and very nice. All the employees were more than happy to answer all my questions and we’re very interested in what meds worked better for my symptoms. I would definitely come here and will probably be my go to spot.

Thank you for delivery!!!!! I have been to almost every dispensary in Vegas as I am a local, and there are a few places that get all the hype. THEY DONT HAVE $H!T on essence. They have the black afgans the golden pineapples, not the same old SFV that every other place has, we want to have a broad spectrum of strains! Pot heads love pot so give us some options! Thank you to the awesome staff here too, always laughs and smiles. But damn the lines sure do get long. Keep your respect for MED PATS and you will always have good business. dYZ%0

horrible sales people, was told as a new customer I get 20% off my sale, and 2 strains were 10$ G’ s. so I bought them, and another gram at full price, 16$ and a trokie… after being passed around like a bad hot potato, I checked out and left… when I get home and open my bag to check out my goods, my bill was 3×16$ grams and no discount! full price for everything! called, and I can bring my reciept in and get my money back, but I’m disabled and have to ask for another ride, then lost the reciept. so you ripped me off, and lost a customer!
