I recently visited Healing Tree Wellness for my first time. It was actually only the 2nd dispensary I’ve visited since becoming a patient.
This place had it all and the budtender did a great job explaining the layout and showing me everything.
They have something for everyone’s budget and the budtender worked with me giving me great recommendations. On top of all of that I got a free 8th for my first visit. Can’t beat that!

Haven’t been here in a long long time, since other places are shut down I didn’t have a choice but to go here. I understand everything that’s going on with shutdowns and they have to be regulated, that’s not the issue, the issue was the service. The girls at the front receptionist desk very nice and polite no problem. The guy in the back (the guy that has his hand all wrapped up cause he broke it) was 100% absolutely rude. He was not friendly, he was rude he gave off this terrible vibe that he hates his job and doesn’t want to be at work. Now the quality it’s not the dispos fault but the Mary medicinals AR absolute a waste I was used to paying $25 for a full gram of platinum Vape, now with state laws and regulations these new cartridges are half a gram and don’t even last a day for $40 again that’s not the dispos fault
Other than the fact that guy was completely rude and gave me a terrible vibe I wouldn’t mind going back but I don’t want to risk having him again so I need to find somewhere else

I drove almost an hour to experience all the positive things that I had read & head about Healing Tree Wellness Center & let me say that I left one VERY HAPPY customer/patient!! I got the deal I had driven for & was so pleased when they offered a substitute for something I was offered & couldn’t use. They score very, very high on my list of MUST VISIT dispensaries in the Detroit area. I can not think of a single thing that would have made it better. Plus, my budtender was extremely cute dY~Z!

tli have heard about this place for a very long time. voted as one of the best in the state, I had to go check it out. I heard about the green crack I had to try. there building was very nice! they had a whole waiting room, like a doctor’s office, with a smoke shop for all your pipes and grinding needs. it was a very nice thing to see. I was welcomed in the back room and shown around to the different types and specials. they were a great help to find the types I wanted. as a first time there, I will go back! they lady that help me was very nice. wonderful and clean experience!

I don’t know what happened to my first review but. This location is Clean, safe, and carries a very professional atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their leafly menu is always up-to-date. Even if you don’t get what you came for, TRUST me you will not be disappointed. Pretty much all of their meds are fire. You will definitely find something satisfying within your budget! Place was the best I had been in for years, terrible shame they switched from the awesome variety and prices/deals they used to have. I even missed their half price everything sale by a couple days!, only ever was able to purchase anything twice before they made the switch.
I’m sure everything is still top quality, but the price is different and they no longer really have concentrates.

I stopped in yesterday and picked up a quarter of Acapulco Gold and it smokes great c: They through me a free pre-roll in with my purchase and I got to pick between Sativa and Indica so that was pretty sweet. This is my second review after almost a year of shopping here and after visiting most of the competition throughout SE MI and in Traverse City. The only suggestion I could make is to add a little more info to the printed labels (IE strain type), just so I don’t have to look them up after and mark them.

We went to three dispensaries in the Detroit area. I thought yours had the best selection. I thought the bud tender was courteous honest and informative, the product was quality. I didn’t like the initial process. I realize that you have to be secuslre but it was a bit over kill. You are the only ones that sanded us which is cool but I felt a bit nervous by the time I got to a comfort zone. I think you could make the screening process a bit less stressful and intimidating.

I think that the budtenders are awesome so is the security as you can tell that they’re really there to protect you… Bud was phenomenal grade a medication I got the Sunrise sherbert and I would recommend this dispensary to anyone in need of quality Meds at reasonable prices in an atmosphere you don’t have to feel uncomfortable in!

I was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and paraneoplastic syndrome at age 15. Not a lot can help the symptoms but medical marijuana has helped me immensely and helped me get off a lot of schedule two drugs. Healing tree wellness center has an immense selection, some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, and extremely high-quality medicine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great dispensary. I always leave smiling because of the kindness of the staff and great atmosphere.

I love healing tree and all of the staff but today I went in (which I do every week) and there was a new bud tender today! I asked her what some things were and then I asked what a Shatter House Extracts aEURoeFrankenbaraEUR was and what it had inside of it, she did not know and couldn’t tell me. She also did not ask someone else to find out, I just decided on the Cookies n Cream flavor. If I were to have had an allergy I can see how that would be an issue, just want to make sure everyone who is bud tending knows the product!!! Other than that, great experience like every other time.

I have been going to Healing Tree for a while and it only seems to get better. They really try to give patients the best quality medicine available. Their flower is always very clean and tastes great with a lot to choose from. The top shelf is so mouth watering but I never go wrong with the lower shelves because they do not disappoint. There have everything you need and they are real friendly as well.

First, the cons: Bad parking situation (I noticed when I went in after I’d parked that most of the cars “parked” were actually just standing with drivers in them & motors running). The waiting room is a bit cold and stark. But the pros far outweigh them: Very welcoming and friendly staff! Short wait time! A very nice variety of products offered, some I’ve not seen at other dispensaries! Courteous and cute budtenders (lol)!

I do love this store. They have a extra large selection. Just about have anything you could want. Only problem I’ve ever had was some flower weights heavy but there is not more then a small bud that is heavy. 2 Joints from $20? I even asked about it at my last trip and was told that was normal. Other dispensaries in the area have apologized and made it right on my next visit. I do wish employees could tell me what was in products they are selling.
The waiting room will remind you of a low end clinic, but the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The shop itself is brightly lit, with a large selection of types of medication.

I Usually go for a GSC for daily pain relief, which I have every single day from my illness. He suggested Chem D.O.G. for it’s potency. He was absolutely right!! They also have a huge variety, with a well designed ‘show room’ Even though they were a bit busy, I was still in and out very quickly. If you are in the Metro Detroit area, and are either a medical patient like me, or recreational ( I am now convinced that I was wrong, there must be a God…weed is legal in my lifetime! ) then you NEED to pay them a visit!!

I was impressed with the security, comfortable atmosphere, great service, and quality products. What a menu! I told them what I needed – pain relief, and they gave me a strain that filled that need very well. Those $4 pre-rolls are pretty darn good too. Even the budget items are good. Then, I felt safe getting back to my car. I will be back soon.

Went to Healing Wellness for the first time yesterday. They have switched over to buds that have been licensed and laboratory tested. I bought 3 different flower strains, and all three had THC >25%. Ashley, my budtender, was friendly and helpful in recommending a new indica strain to buy. FYI, they still have their 1st time customer specials…not sure why it’s no longer listed. Security was very friendly as well.

I was pleased with my service at wellness tree, they have a security guard upon entering the building as I feel any of these places should givin the area I gave the lady at the desk my photo is and mmmp card she was very friendly and prompt, after that I had a short wait time with a elderly gentleman that asked if I had ever been to this location as I replied I usually had gone to a different location down the street that I could not enter that morning because the city had shut them down for some reason, he ensured me that I was in for a treat that he has been to a few different locations and liked this one the most that the staff was very friendly and helpful and then we had both been called back where they had knew him by name which says a lot for seeing I’m sure a big number of people every day they seemed to have a very nice selection of multiple medications for whatever your preferred way of taking your medication is I did not happen to look intensely at the flower portion as I was looking for sauce but they did look to have some very good quality strains and a wide variety to choose from. I was helped by a lady behind the counter (didn’t catch her name) but she was very friendly in helping me find the right sauce I was looking for by lakeshore extracts and was pleased with the quality(great job lakeshore!) I also being a first time patient there received either a pre roll of sativa or indica I chose the indica and was pleased with it as well which is great because I’m usually never satisfied with the pre rolls that most places hand out, most of the prices seemed fair or in the same ball park as other collectives although a small amount of some sauces seemed priced quite high. Overall I was very satisfied and I will return and recommend them in the future! Thanks wellness tree thanks lady behind the counter that I didn’t get her name, and thanks to the elderly fellow for being kind and ensuring me I would be pleased with my services

Great location that is close to me. The selection is not overwhelming in the least and the bud tender is very knowledgeable with all of the products. The entire staff was extremely welcoming including the on staff security guard. The waiting room and bud room are very clean and meticulous. I really love how all the meds are labeled and organized so well anyone with OCD will appreciate it. For myself being a real patient that needs it as medicine the flowers are of good quality and well represented although, they could use a slightly better trim but nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend anyone in the Metro Detroit area to go see the staff over at Healing Tree Wellness Center!

I do like there flower alot.Some of the flower they have should be a little cheaper then what they have it for, but then some of the flower they should be more expensive then what tjey have it for.The oils are good but what i found out that they have a speacail blend it is a little bit more expensive and it comes in half gram.But well worth it.I for got the name of it but it comes in a gold and black little box.Both Indaca and Sativa are very good you pay for what you get.Budtenders are super.The Security is is great.The place is just great.Its a 10 but my scale the place is a 20.

Whenever I go to a new dispensary I always say “I’m new here, break it down for me so I know the process/strains/prices/products here. My BT wasn’t a knowledgeable salesman just bored, it seemed he was a “pointer & repeater” more than anything else.
Sadly my bud turned to mostly dust once put through the grinder. No, I did not over grind and even if I did, no weed should be so dry that happens and if that is/was the case my BT should have told me.
Please don’t judge all the BT’s or Strains here by this comment; This was my experience with 1 BT & Strain. I will try them again because there’s always a different BT or Strain. Just had to “voice” my frustration.

I love this place. Every time I come in I’m welcomed with smiles and some friendly jokes. They have so many different strands that I cannot get bored! They have a great staff, especially a tall blonde young man, he’s extremely knowledgeable and honest, and always has you leaving with a smile.
First time going here. A gentleman greeted me and opened the door for me. He was super nice and started cracking jokes as soon as I walked through the door. He was polite and funny. I went in the waiting room there was another man in there that offered me free chips and candy. I was promptly called in after I filled out my paper work. They had an incredible selection of buds, wax and edibles. I was blown away. And extremely affordable. The bud tender was a very young man. He was able to tell me about each strain and get me the correct product to help treat my ailments. I am from the country. I don’t venture into Detroit often. I felt 100% safe parking, entering and exiting this facility. I rate it a 5 star spot all day.

This was my first time going to a dispensary. Patient saw an amazing deal online so I drove down to Detroit from Roscommon County. Very secure and discreet. Very expedient. I called ahead because of the 3 hour trip and everyone was just as friendly on the phone as they were in person. The prices are unbelievable while still being a quality product. Patient was so happy with the medicine I am going back tomorrow so I have some on hand when she needs it.

This was my first visit to a dispensary in Detroit. I happened to be in the area and after looking at their menu here and researching some strains I wanted I stopped in. There is parking out front and on the side street as well as across the street.
All the employee’s I encountered were very nice and friendly and filling out the new member forms only took a few minutes.
After a very short wait I went into the bud room and was amazed at all the different strains they had in stock! The bud tender said that they had 100 strains.
I had made a list ahead of time of what strains I was looking for to treat my different ailments, and I would suggest that you take the time to do so before your visit because the selection is so huge.
I also took advantage of their new member deal to get a free 1/8th when spending $100. All in all I ended up with 5 different 1/8th’s for $120 Definitely made it worth the drive from Ann Arbor where that would have cost me over $200 for a limited selection. I will be back.

Also staff is really helpful and friendly, and I always feel safe there because the security guards are kind but they most definitely do their job and always watch the cameras for people walking by before they tell me have a nice day and send me on my way! Came in to check out the nee offerings. I half expected the options to be slim and they were. All of the flower looks great. However the new Chem dog is by far some of the best I’ve ever gotten from healing tree, if not the best I’ve smoked in a long time. Also the edibles were very effective. Nice knowing precisely how much thc I’m consuming. People will complain about not getting the cheap crap they were used to, but I for one am happy with the changes. I’ll be even happier when more options become available!

Kinda bummed about this place. Budtender seemed annoyed by me. I asked for a couple packs of candies, he grabbed multiple without asking what flavor or even telling me what he was giving me. I bought a couple pre rolls based on his recommendation (the most expensive, of course) only to find when I got home that the paper was trinmed and I was only getting slightly more than half the stick that other shops sell (I measured them side by side). Product was good but no better than any of the dozens of shops within a mile of the place. Choose one of those if you if you prefer friendly people who won’t rip you off.

It was a nice place. Didnt really like the way the shook me down.. but i get it.. there bud was good. But an oz kinda sticky, and i didnt really think it was good stuff at first. So i rolled a blunt. Seemed too be okay. Not long lasting high. Id give this place like a 6. Id say this would be a optional one if im feeling it one day. Wide selction. Budtenders just seem to stand around not do much. Laura helped me so much! I went pretty early (10 minutes after open) so it was the perfect time and not busy at all. The girl at the desk (beautiful red hair but I didn’t get her name sadly) was super friendly and very informative. She informed me of all the specials right away which was very nice!

I found HTWC to be easily accessible and have very nice storefront, products, and staff. If I lived on the east side I would go here all the time.
The only medications I would recommend at this location are the strains that have the donation rates of $280-$400 per ounce.
I feel that the strains at a lower than $279 per ounce donation rate are not at a high enough quality rate for the donation rate they are asking for.
This place is very roomy, with an extra large waiting room. This place is usually always packed and busy, you are usually never in and out. I waited 25 minutes, and only two patients were ahead of me.

I had writen a great review but after this last time I am so disgusted by the service I will not be back I come in every 2 weeks and spend over 600 every time and only once have I been given so much as a preroll and this time spent over 700 and have never been more mortified at the quality of the rosin I loved the jedi just always good green color till this time they served me brown shit in the container that is so bad I had to throw it out when you spend 90 a gram you expect some quality control but they never bothered to check what they sold me and after not having the first 3 kinds still listed on menu I wanted so on the recommendation of the only person working behind counter sold me some other 90 a g stuff called chem cookies rosin that was burnt brown and tasted so bad made my friend gag from just the smell of it burning

The quality at this location is great, the service not so much. Went in this week with a list on my Note App on my phone. Guy in the glasses tries to snap and says “no phones in here man,” didn’t say sorry or excuse me. I showed him my list and he said”transfer it to paper next time,” fine. I spent almost $400 at one time and it’s the last time. I’ll come in for small purchases, but I won’t bring lists for large purchases anymore. It’s 2018, no one owns pens anymore. Didn’t appreciate being disrespected when I come in at least once a week every week for years.
Top-notch bud quality. The $10 grams here are better than other places $15. I sampled two kinds and I couldn’t get the silly smile off of my face! I think you can close down 20 or so other dispensaries that try to charge top dollar and just come here.
Place is phenomenal. Everything from the security, to the bud tenders, and of course the medication is A1! This is my go-to place. I haven’t gone anywhere else since I found Healing Tree. I feel safe upon entering and exiting. I know I’m never getting ripped off and often given deals just for the heck of it. I will continue getting my medicine from the healing tree. I have been a pretty regular customer at Healing Tree, for several years. I started going somewhere else after a time, though. The quality of the product took a deep nose dive during much of 2017. I gave them another chance recently, and have been back a few times since. They have totally rebounded! They remodeled, made the check in process super easy, and as always have an enormous selection of flower and edibles (can’t speak for other products as flower and edible are what I use). Of the three or four times I visited after going elsewhere, the bud was potent, regardless of which strain I chose. The pricing is a little high for some strains but that is of course to be expected. Recently, they’ve hired a number of female budtenders, which is a refreshing change from the mostly male-dominated dispensaries in my area. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. There’s a large waiting room. Check-in takes about 45 seconds. The wait to get into the bud room is usually not longer than 5-10 minutes. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the desolate northeast side, which has over the past year seem most of the dispensaries on 8 Mile closed due to licensing issues. This place and Dream 313 (a few blocks east) are my “regulars” now.

You can find some low prices here and there, if you pay attention to their sales, but I haven’t been impressed by any of the bud that I’ve purchased nor smelled here, and unfortunately most of the budtenders are VERY young and don’t seem to have much knowledge or experience to draw upon. Decent selection, lots of accessories that you can probably find cheaper at an actual head shop. This place is alright, but seems a bit amateur, and there’s more attractive options out there.

I stopped into Healing Tree for the first time yesterday. I was thoroughly impressed with their set up for patients. When you go into the service area (for lack of a better term) you are greeted by an employee who will focus their attention on your needs. Being that I am a new legal medical marijuana patient I have a lot of questions and this dispensary is set up in a way that all of them can be answered and I can get a product that is perfect for my needs. My only complaint is that it’s far from my home, that’s a politics problem though, Macomb County needs to get their shit together. I wish I could remember the young woman’s name who helped me, I appreciate her attentiveness.

Healing Tree has an incredible selection of edibles, vape cartridges, and flower. I used to go to Herbal Remedies, but after visiting Wellness Tree one time when HR ran out of cartridges, I will never go back. The selction is unrivaled, the location is right off of 8 mile and they have cameras on every inch of the surrounding street and parking lot.
The only thing that makes me the slightest bit uncomfortable, that I found off putting, was the various signs around the door that warn of electric shock if you touch it. I totally understand why they take the security measures they do, but I’m always paranoid that one day I’m not gonna be paying attention and I’m gonna accidentally touch the door lol. Its a silly thing, don’t let it put you off. You really can’t beat the selection, the service or the security at Healing Tree. 🙂

The entire staff here is unbelievably friendly and helpful. The guy who helped me both times (I think his name is Randy…I’m sorry if I’m wrong!) I’ve been here has been the best I’ve encountered while visiting different dispensaries.
