45. I wanted this to be an easy, enjoyable experience, but it was a nightmare. There was trouble getting the referral code to show up for the discount, there was trouble with my account not showing up in the system, there was confusing about unannounced promotions entering and exiting my cart without explanation, there were huge delays in customer service responses. Throughout all of this we contacted customer service and multiple different people tried to help us, one couldn’t locate my account after I made one and told me to create a new and that didn’t work either. Many times it would take hours before we’d get a response on our problem so by the time I checked out it was past the cut off time. That means I had to wait 2 days for so called “overnight delivery”. If it wasn’t for all the ridiculous issues and if employees didn’t wait an hour to respond in customer service chat I could have checked out much, much earlier. We complained to Sean with customer service and he pretended to be apologetic at first, but then changed his mind and I guess didn’t feel like being responsible for being the reason my purchase was delayed so late and just blamed me instead. Would never recommend to a friend. Never buy from them, they don’t deserve your money.

224. In case you want a review from a genuine HUMAN BEING, who’s been loyal to Stoney for roughly 5 months:

     Originally I gave this place 5 stars for the convenience and value, but they’ve since gone downhill, albeit gradually. Here are some of the reasons I am updating my review:

     1. They buy the vast majority of their reviews, which I find appalling in a moral sense, but I won’t judge them for business techniques. I also had issues with their referral program but

     2.The quality for most of their products is below average (the one time I tried their flower, it was the worst I’ve ever had, but decent concentrates and edibles). That said, they do have plenty of great options and have been adding more lately, but their prices are no longer competitive with dispensaries, making Stoney seem comparatively lower quality. This leads me to the main issue of late.

     3. They have been decreasing their discounts and have started charging tax to medical patients recently and without any customer notification. To put things in perspective, if I were to repeat an order from just last week, it would cost me roughly 25% more (This is even funnier when you consider that I am using a 20% off code today vs only 15% for my previous order).

     The only reason I ordered from Stoney in the past was because they had good prices and fast, friendly customer service. I always felt that they didn’t really deserve the business due to their shady nature (feels very corporate), but the deals at the time more than made up for it. Now that they have indirectly bumped their prices by 30-40% (No tax discount for Med and the Leafly discount went from 25% to 15%) I do not plan on placing anymore orders with Stoney.

287. Worst registration, ordering, and customer service experience I’ve gotten in 10+ years of being a medical patient. Registration wouldn’t take, I had to chat and call in multiple times. 421. Personally not the biggest fan of the overnight delivery method because I like getting my meds right away after ordering/paying…but this is the only one I’d ever use. Though it’s marketed as overnight, it technically can come the next day between 8-5 which is just super arbitrary when a patient is just looking to get their meds. Usually comes in the morning, sometimes comes later. It would be nice to know if my meds are coming, say between 8-10am or 12-2pm at least vs anytime between 8-5pm… Additionally, they have such good customer service to assure they are satisfied that it kinda sucks they use a separate company that conducts the delivery because they don’t have any way shape or form of fixing a problem themselves if something arises which has happened on all my orders except one. They, however, always make up for it though offering a discount on my next order…in that their customer service is impeccable and why I always keep coming back & recommending to all my friends. But this place reminds me why I don’t use over nights, and when I do, it will only be this place because they have my trust. If they did 1 hour deliveries in the Bay Area like they do in LA/Orange County I would literally buy from them every other day their product is so good!

I ordered on Monday evening, and was told that it would arrive on Tuesday by 3:30pm. 3:30pm comes and passes, and the delivery estimate is pushed out to 11pm. It is now past 11pm on Tuesday. I have called the delivery service, and my order apparently will not be here until tomorrow (again, the estimate is by 3:30pm.) I would not have complained if my order had arrived by 11pm today, because I consider it to be within the promised timeframe (Aka any time on Tuesday). But adding another day onto the delivery timeframe without advanced notice or notification is unacceptable. I expect to be refunded for shipping cost, because they are not following through on their promise. Skip the hassle and go buy directly from a dispensary. Don’t waste your time with this service.

705. Stoney has a great selection and offers generally quality products but every time I order it’s a toss up as to whether or not something goes wrong. They have failed to communicate when something wasn’t in stock even post-ordering several times. With this switch over to bitcoin, they failed to notify me that my credit card on delivery payment wasn’t possible until I called them after working from home all day to wait for the delivery. The change also makes something that was convenient less so. They didn’t honor a discount code once because it somehow got lost in their system that I used it (ended up giving me a few Stoney Bucks). It also seems they don’t meet their selling goals because any sale product (mainly vapes that have started to crystallize) is several months old which I know is a given for some but it certainly isnt worth the prices they sell it for. They’ve accidentally delivered my packages to my more conservative neighbor two doors down (luckily I recognized their door in the delivery feature so I could run over and grab it before any serious questions). I have brought up these concerns with representatives and am usually met with a simple “oh so and so who was on shift wasn’t doing their job.” They never know when things are coming back into stock and the app navigation is awful (needs much better sorting capabilities.)

881. Living in a rural area with no delivery available I thought SD was a godsend. Sure, it takes about 5 business days to get here but I don’t mind – I just plan ahead. At first all was well, no waves and no problems. On my 4th or 5th order I was sent the wrong cart but customer service took care of me right quick requiring only a photograph from me. Then I made a goof on my order and had to ask to have my order cancelled; again their response was fast and kind. Then things started going wrong. I placed an order valued at approximately $150 which never arrived. I went back and forth with customer service via email, receiving the level of care I’ve been used to up to this point. During this process I learned that signatures are only required on orders valued at $200 (or $250, I forget) or more. I was truly disturbed by the disappearance not only for my lost investment but more urgently because there are both kids and several half-way houses near me. In the end the rep made sure a flag was placed on my account to be sure all future shipments would require a signature. They also told me that my issue would require a managers’ review and that someone would be getting back to me. Needless to say I never got that follow-up communication. I tried emailing the CS rep again but received no response. I was pretty upset by now and had just decided I couldn’t order again if they were just going to ignore my issue when I got an unsolicited call from SD asking if I wanted to place an order!! I explained the whole sordid story to the caller telling them I might consider ordering again if I got a response to my emails or a call back. The sales rep was overly gracious and promised me someone would call back before close of business that day. I received no such communication – again. That was the final straw for me and I wrote SD off. That is not the end of the story!! The very next day I got ANOTHER sales solicitation. This time I saved my breath and just told them to bark up another tree – they’d lost a good customer by refusing to even bother to get back to me. Bye, bye suckers!

1087. They have decent products that I won’t argue. And I say decent not great. They’re shatter sucks at the lower tier not purged well and harsh as hell. From $25 up you start to see decent concentrates. But these guys don’t offer any concentrate deals. Their flowers are okay. Pricing is a little high in my opinion and they don’t offer any deals on ounces so you have to buy a half ounce at a time at the most. Their biggest problem is the fact that they just can’t get their delivery right! I’ve had multiple orders either lost or delayed or the shipment has not been the right products. I’ve even ordered they’re live resin that they don’t have on the menu anymore I came in wax paper like most do but this stuff was straight liquid and absorbed into the wax paper so I had to throw $30 away. They claim that if you order your delivery Monday through Friday before 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. whatever it is that I will get my order the very next day well I’ve ordered my product on a couple of occasions before 5 p.m. on a Friday and my deliveries don’t get here until Monday or Tuesday even though their website claims otherwise. Essentially false advertisement! I’m shocked that they have the reviews that they do all being positive and nobody’s had the balls to step up and say that these guys really are not that good. For my money and my sanity is much better and more well spent to just get a recommendation and go to a store front or you know what you’re going to get and you don’t have to go through the bullshit that these guys put you through what they’re delivery problems. Their idea of rectifying the situation is to offer you a discount on your next order and keep you coming back. Well I bet that hook and they reeled me in on a couple different occasions with these stupid sorry 40% discounts codes. So I can now say I’m officially done with this place after I’ve already called my bank and placed a hold to reverse the charges on the card that I used since they clearly cannot follow what they promise on their own home page of the website. If you want to take the gamble of your order not being there on time or the delivery service losing it, and by the way they’ve been through now three different delivery services so that should tell you something. Then go ahead play Russian roulette with these guys you may or may not get your order and it may or may not be what you ordered!

Seriously unheard of. So check this, for the ridiculous price of $68 bucks I received; two grams of A1 wax, a beautiful eighth, a joint, and four edibles. Never in my life have I gotten such a great deal, with FREE delivery. So I put my order in, and forgot to add my apartment number on my order. I didn’t really know how going about contacting this service would go, but I called and guess what BOOM immediate person to person customer service. He changed the address and jotted down some notes for the delivery dude. Make sure you order before 7PM though for next day delivery. The day after my order, I got a text saying it shipped and I even called back again to see where it was. I was given great phone service again, and then received my order the following morning(I missed the 7pm deadline). My package finally came, and unfortunately had an ‘accident.’ So I called again, and guess what! They quickly replaced what was broken, and answered my phone call… all on a Saturday! These guys kick ass. Great customer service, great deals, great product, and convenience.
