The founders of Trulieve came together with an extensive history working in the nursery and healthcare fields. During that time, they saw a statewide need for alternative forms of healing. Typical medicine and pharmaceutical options just didn’t work for all patients. Dedicated to providing empathetic and compassionate care for all patients, no matter the illness or circumstance, they decided to enter the field of medical marijuana.
Trulieve is the first dispensary to be granted a medical marijuana license in the state of Florida. They are approved by the Department of Health of Florida to legally sell Low-THC Cannabis and Medical Cannabis to patients who have visited a qualified medical marijuana doctor. Opening their first clinic in Tallahassee in July 25th, 2016, their Clearwater location soon followed on August 16th, 2016. Since opening their doors to the entire state of Florida, they have steadily increased the number of patients they help as they have expanded to more locations.
Trulieve’s staff is among the best trained in all of Florida. Patient consultants work closely with patients to fulfill their physician recommended order and explain product information. With their vast knowledge of medical cannabis and customer service philosophy, all staff members are happy to answer any questions regarding products or treatment. Private rooms are available for one-on-one consultation, ensuring patients retain their medical privacy.
Staff members work with physicians as well as with patients to gain a better understanding of each patient’s individual needs. Patient consultants verify orders using the Compassionate Use Registry.
Another great trip to Trulieve St Augustine today! Met the manager Kyle (greatest manager I ever met at a dispensary). Also Regis, Christy, Mark and Cindy were always very hepful. All Trulieve stores should train through this store. Just saying with people like Dennis working as a tender and the other mentioned doing their part. This is the best dispensary experience I have ever had at St Augustine Trulieve. Even if the waiting room is full you are in back in no time. Your not even rushed like at other places. Hands down best products. Please keep strawberry switchblade in constant rotation please. That and Skywalker and Oregon Lemons. I love your products and a Truliever for life.

The Trulieve products I have sampled are admirable in terms of qualityaEUR”expensive, but par for the region. Email went out to customers of other Trulieve stores to invite them to the grand opening of the St. Augustine store on 1/14. They advertised 25% off for this day only & swag giveaways. I arrived a half hour after opening; the line was already out the dooraEUR”very few seats in the tiny waiting roomaEUR”and the wait was 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours, but they were offering to take MJID cards & slide you into the queue when you returned a couple hours later. I returned 2 1/2 hours later & waited about half an hour. They were out of one of the Trulieve standard products & offered no rain check on the discount. The so-called swag was a polyester tee-shirt; apparently they expect to bilk you further for coffee mugs or hats. Trulieve is the Starbucks of the medical MJ industry: The tip jars on the counters let you know the wait staff are just like baristas, low-paid and trained by Trulieve, not experts of any kind in the field of medical MJ. Everyone is pleasant and intends to be helpful, but if you need authoritative, reliable guidance about the specific, effective medical uses of MJ, Trulieve’s salespeople are very limited. That aside, this grand opening did not show the new store in a positive light. The Palm Coast store is much better set up to handle the volume of customers grumbling in St. Augustine today.
Trulieve has quite simply the most diverse line of products head n shoulders above the rest..Trulieve in Auggie has a old friend atmosphere with very helpful staff..Been a truliever for a year and the frequency of my ailment has reduced greatly.So thankful!!FREE THE FLOWER
